Experiencia negativa: Incredibly unprofessional. My sister had her wisdom tooth extraction here and got a dry socket after a couple of days. She came back in for the pain and was rushed out with no relief for her dry socket. Due to her pain becoming worse, she called again and was told by a tech to come in a second time for x-rays and to see if there’s more they can do for her dry socket. The tech on the phone was very apologetic and implied they would look more closely at her wound to determine treatment. When we were brought back, the doctor working was extremely rude and didn’t seem to be knowledgeable at all. We explained that she has a dry socket and is still in unbearable pain after coming in this morning. He looks at her and asks condescendingly “Well, what do you want to do with this appointment today?” I did not think it was standard practice for the patient to come up with their own treatment plan? He did not even look in her mouth or do any X-rays. I told him we were told to come back again for further treatment and diagnosis and he continued to be rude and even asked the tech to kick me out of my sisters room despite her saying multiple times she wants me there. All we wanted was clarification on what to do and if there’s was ANYTHING the doctor could do to improve her pain. The tech on the phone seemed to really care and implied they could help her. I guess the doctor is just not concerned with the comfort and healing of his patients. I would try to avoid this place if you can. There is no communication between the techs and the doctors and it just seems like they don’t really know what they’re doing sometimes. I really regret bringing her here for her wisdom teeth removal. Although the doctor that performed the procedure was great, I have never had a worse experience with a health professional when trying to get help for her dry socket. I work in healthcare and this is no way to treat patients.

Experiencia negativa: I went here and it was the worst. I was told I needed a bunch of crowns which I didn’t. Did 2 and I still can’t eat on that side. The dental assistant with long dark hair is so rude. So I felt like they didn’t do anything so I went to another comfort dental and they told me I still had decay in a feeling they just did and the other comfort dental did all sorts of work that this one just left for me. Bad! Bad! Bad!

Experiencia negativa: I had an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this dental office. From the start, I felt judged and shamed about my dental health rather than supported or educated. The dentist pushed for expensive and, in my opinion, unnecessary procedures without fully explaining options or allowing for a second opinion. I felt pigeonholed into compliance rather than treated like a person with autonomy. What made things worse was the cold, dismissive attitude of the hygienist, which only added to my anxiety. Instead of creating a compassionate and respectful environment, I left feeling ashamed, scared, and taken advantage of. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this practice to others—especially if you are someone who needs a dentist that is patient, gentle, or trauma-informed.

Experiencia negativa: Do not go here!!! Zero stars Terrible communication, called me multiple times for lost information on their end prior to my appointment…. Insurance card and personal information. Went on the day of the appointment and the doctor was not there and staff couldn’t get ahold of him, they didn’t know if or when he would show up for work. They didn’t call to inform patients about this. Went across town to another location, same day appointment, more professional and better communication!! Don’t go here!!

Experiencia fantástica: As always comfort dental taking care of my family like no other dental clinic. Dr. Montgomery was super awesome and made the entire procedure a breeze for my anxious spouse in addition to going the extra mile by requesting our insurance company approve all neccessary things that need to be done.

Experiencia negativa: Without going into a long story, Clear communication is lacking big time and my teeth are worse off and actually hurt now that they have done work on them. I will do my best to never let this dentist touch my teeth again.

Experiencia negativa: Me and my family have had history with this clinic.. they pulled more teeth off my brother Angel’s mouth back in 2014ish. And recently they scamed me off some Gd membership for cleaning. Don’t pay for that plan. I followed instructions & went back for my 2nd cleaning & they said I had not paid for the Gold member plan that includes 2 cleanings. AVOID going there! They didn’t offered any compensation for the issue.

Experiencia negativa: The staff was really nice! The dentist was also pleasant enough but he was really rough in handling me. When I told him something was hurting really badly his response was "yeah that's because I'm pressing on it" as opposed to backing off for a moment. I made it very clear that I have huge dental anxiety and everything about this experience just amplified it. The space is completely open so you can hear everyone's procedures. There was no explanation on aftercare other than a piece of paper they give you. Prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy but not until over 3 hours after the appointment and I was told nothing about what they were. In addition to this, I made it very clear during my visit what my medication allergies were and even spoke to the dentist about. In spite of this he sent a prescription that I'm allergic to and would have caused me life threatening side effects. I'm going to need more work done but I'll be looking for another provider. Edit: After calling them to have a doctor call me back about the prescription they tried to give me being one that would cause life-threatening issues. No one called me back and their response to this review was "thank you for your patronage, good luck at your next office" Zero accountability and a completely flippant attitude. Do better.

Experiencia fantástica: For even giving me next day appointment in the midst of pain of my tooth I’m super grateful! All other places had nothing less than a week appointment. And my experience today was really great, from the front desk as I was 15 mins late but she gave me grace. And the Dental assistance was so helpful even in the midst of my pain. Dr Andrei Baskakov was awesome and my tooth removal nothing but a smooth process especially being my first time. Thank you . And thank you for the follow up call, little things count and goes a long way! Ya’ll wonderful and I’ll be back

Experiencia fantástica: Staff and doctor are very nice and comforting. Was going in to have teeth extracted and was very nervous for the procedure but they calmed me down and also offered a prescription to ease the anxiety.

Experiencia positiva: They cause a lot of pain with the numbing needle before they start something. More pain than I've ever had anywhere else.But otherwise pretty nice people. Work seems to be good as well. Make sure to take tylenol or something after an appointment for pain

Experiencia negativa: Experience started normally. Completed all the pre-checkin forms to include my SSN. Nobody likes putting that online but what are you gonna do? I thought I was "saving time". So then a couple days go by and they call me. Very nice lady on the phone apologizes and tells me they have to reschedule due to an issue with thwX-Ray machine. Little inconvenient but hey, happens, so they set me up and I'm good to go with another 7:30am appointment. Later then call me back asking for a call about my insurance. I contact them and learn they need my insurance info and SSN (yeah puzzling?) So again because my therapist says I need to work on my boundaries, I cooperate but I push back the tiniest bit (therapist would be proud). I ask 'Hey I put this all in online, how come you're asking for it again?' Again very professional and nice woman on the phone explains they can't see that information in their system until the patient actually shows up. Okay. I guess. Seems inefficient and I was kinda at a strike two but hey, I need a cleaning and I've used the Comfort Dental brand before, so I prepare for my appointment. I arrive early, pull on the door at 7:30am and its locked! Lights off. I waited a few minutes, called and told them I would be moving on. Alas Comfort Dental think of what could have been. They seem like very nice people and they seem to have good reviews, but I was pretty frustrated after a less than smooth start which ended in the unnecessary sharing of my personal info and most importantly wasted time. Honestly if you don't respect a patient's time, it doesn't give me much confidence about how you'll care for me in chair or in the future. Standing by for AI sounding "we're sorry for your experience and always working to improve" reply to this this review....

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Baskokav has been the best in my whole journey to better teeth. Since a teenager I hated going to the dentist I would always come out crying I would have to clear out my day pf work because my mouth would hurt so bad. Since coming to Dr. B, I now look forward to my appointments. He's very knowledgeable. He's nice and respectful and cares for your journey. What I most like is that he is gentle when dealing with your teeth. I barely feel pain compared to anywhere else I've ever been in 10+ yrs. The staff is nice and overall I love the experience.

I felt they gave me attention and education and I wasn’t made to feel bad for not having perfect teeth since I have some bone loss. I would highly recommend this Comfort Dental and dentist!

Experiencia negativa: Unsanitary facility. Came in a few weeks ago to pick someone up and saw that one of the patients brought a dog with them in the same place they do teeth cleanings, etc. The receptionist didn't seem to have a problem with it, despite the fact that this is clearly unsanitary. It wasn't a service animal, just a random pet that was for some reason allowed where all of the equipment was.

The staff was non judgemental and helped me get through all the work on my teeth that day. Dr. Liu was wonderful. I have more to do, but my anxiety level is much lower. Even though I had a texts said I did. 2- had a appointment at 7:30 they didn't open until 7:50 .I do have a job. 3- I had all of my upper teeth removed under my doctor recommendation it was the worst decision of my life you lose your taste of food and just doesn't work and having dentures

Experiencia fantástica: Love Dr. Liu. The other dentists may be good, just no experience with them. However, Dr. Liu is awesome. I had front crowns done a number of years ago and thought they looked awesome. To this day, I don’t know why Dr. Liu didn’t like what the lab had done so he chose to start all over and no extra charge. They are awesome like ten or more years later. I’ve sent all 7 of my kids to him as well as my wife and brother. No one has been unhappy (except for the fact that no one likes to go to the dentist).

Experiencia negativa: How do you know that my electric bike was stolen by someone outside the clinic? Do you have a camera? If not, I think someone in the clinic stole my electric bike. Very bad experience, I don't even want to give it one star. I had a tooth filled by Dr. Liu and it got worse. The dentist only filled the surface but there is still a big cavity behind the tooth. Also, while I was having a tooth filled, my electric bike was stolen in this dental office. The staff told my husband that the dental office has insurance for thefts from customers. It has been nearly 8 months since the incident, and I have not received any information from the clinic. I even thought it was the staff of this clinic who stole my e-bike. You should return my electric bike. I checked the surrounding surveillance and didn't see my bike leaving the clinic. It was the staff inside the clinic who stole my bike. Very bad, very bad experience, looking back now, I regret choosing this clinic to treat my teeth. Really bad!

Today I needed an emergency root canal and saw Dr. JaShon Hughes. He was also excellent, as was his assistant. As a local small business owner myself, I notice and appreciate superior service.

Experiencia fantástica: I had never been to this office before. I called them because my regular dentist couldn't see me until next week and I was in tremendous pain. Comfort Dental and Comfort Smile took care of me and my children for decades in the past, but I hadn't used them in the last few years. Despite not being an existing patient, this office took me right in and immediately helped me. They were kind and professional. They took xrays and adjusted my bite. I'm hopeful they've resolved my dental issue as a result. Given my experience today, I think they are probably going to be my dentist of choice going forward.

Love Randi the hygienist, she was patient and gentle. Mandy was very helpful and amazing too when I was checking out. Experiencia negativa: Poor & unprofessional customer service. If you have Nina as your assistant RUN. You will not be treated as a patient, but more of an inconvenience. The entire service was rushed, & the whole time I was on the table Nina mentioned numerous times she wanted to leave at 1:30PM while spitting sly comments to her colleagues about how she would like do less fillings. Not to mention the gossip about other patients, while I am on the table. Despite her RUDE attitude, I ignored it hoping my fillings would be done correctly. Before I walked out, I saw a visible black spot on my tooth that was never there prior to my appointment. I mentioned it to Nina and she told me it was just blood and I just needed to brush my teeth. The weekend rolls by & the black spot is still there. Clearly it was rushed, and she did not care to fix it because she wanted to leave as she mentioned numerous times. I had to get it completely redone and go through the numbing process again. Experiences like this create dental trauma, since it could've been avoided in the first place if it wasn't rushed or fixed the same day while I was still numb. I would leave a 2 star since they got me in quickly, but they didn't properly numb my mouth (resulting in lots of pain) & I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time. Would not recommend this location as the service is heavily rushed, not detail oriented & they don't hold their employees accountable.

Always has a smile on his face. He tells you exactly what he's going to do next. So there's no unpleasant surprises.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Montgomery was so easy to talk to and immediately knew I needed a deep clean and 3 fillings where my last dentist just wanted to keep a watch on them. I am looking forward to doing future work with him. I have had little pain and he found the spots that did bother me in a matter of seconds and gave me a great solution. I was afraid to do the deep cleaning and when he said we will be numbing the area I was sold! Lol. Excited to go back!

Experiencia negativa: The service and work is fine but DO NOT fall for the gold plan scam. It preys on under and uninsured patients. If you miss a payment or change banks they will put negative reports on your credit. This is not insurance, and once you sign you are committed to paying the full amount no matter what.

Experiencia negativa: Should be called.... unreliable dentist care.... appointments available for emergency dentistry, only 2 week wait. Second time I needed a dentist today.. meaning I have a smelly black tooth because of a bad filling..had been told today may 10th 2023.... That I would have to wait a week or two to be seen because....out of the 5 dentist at this location....you can only see the assigned doctor....so they have dentist at the office....but because of the way they run the insurance for the dentist....you can only see the one. So my choices....keep a rotting tooth in my head for at least another week..... Or make an appointment with my wife's dentist. Not a good way to keep patience who have duel insurance. Add this to the below complaint....they have not changed in two years. _______ Two years ago Because of how the doctors work... I have to wait almost two weeks to be seen...even though they have the crown needed... Had 2 appointments for the same tooth...had to be on antibiotics....and yet when I call to confirm I need a root canal... because of doc schedule... I have to wait in pain almost two weeks! And they are the ones who gave inme the infection in my mouth because the temp crown was not set right! Thanks for nothing!

Experiencia fantástica: I went into the office expecting to lose 2 teeth and they assured me they can save the teeth. The office is clean and modern, including using ultra definition digital x-rays. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

One of them did not fit the first time around and was noticed right away, but I had to continue wearing the temporary crown and go back more times for the refitting. The other one continued hurting months later and after getting checked out at a different dentist learned it was poorly put on and I would need a replacement crown. They gave me a full refund but would not recommend getting dental work done here - many more appointments and pain than necessary

Normally you will have a nice dentist and a bad receptionist.. but they ALL were kind and informative. I am really happy with their service.

Experiencia negativa: I found comfort dental on my preferred insurance list. Their ratings were alright & it's close & convenient. I went in for a simple deep clean & when they were done, they said I have a really bad chipped molar & I should be proactive about the chipped tooth before it becomes a serious problem. I said sure, let's make an appointment. Long story short, they shaved the permanent crown as low as they could go & it was still too high. I always had discomfort on the left side of my teeth. The second time i went in, they said they have to shave down the top molar now, because it's the first point of contact pressing down my crown causing me discomfort, & they stated the problem has been resolved now. Third time going in, because my crown has literally fallen off by now. All of this has transpired over a year and a half-ish. Fourth time going in, (today) the dentist tells me the distributor of where they get the crown cut, "messed it up". After the dentist & his assistant shaved the new crown down & the dentist shaved my top molar down some more to make the new crown fit; it still wasn't the proper fit. & I now have to wait another 12 days for a new crown, again. A huge piece of advise to this dentist office; " If it ain't broke, don't break it!" I feel really stupid for trusting a so called "professional". I now truly understand why people don't like going to the dentist! I'm sorry for all the good dentist's, who get a bad reputation from the bad ones!!!

Experiencia positiva: Dentist was good and the rest of the staff were very nice but his assistant or whoever she was (and I don't really care), was downright rude to me answering questions with either a flat "I don't know" or a snide "I don't do that" when I asked about pricing. Because they were working on others I asked to use the bathroom while I was waiting for the dentist to return and she actually rolled her eyes at me. I'm just glad she's not working on my teeth anymore and I won't be back.

Experiencia negativa: I gave them 2 stars because the staff in the back deserves a better rating than the front staff. I asked for fluoride & it was a whole conversation about what they don’t normally do. This has happened everytime I have requested fluoride with my cleaning. Why is this such a sore sport for them? Why am I being told people don’t normally ask for fluoride? Why am I getting so many questions on what I am requesting? I pay close attention to what my insurance covers. Imagine going to the store and you request paper bags instead of plastic bags. But the staff stands next to you and beings to argue with you asking you why? It’s a whole conversation about you wanting paper bags and you can actually hear them. Very unprofessional and unwarranted. We have chosen a different dentist moving forward.

I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to teeth related pain but Mr Montgomery and the rest of the staff are exceptionally good at what they do. Very considerate and efficient. I had multiple fillings and two wisdom teeth removed and the process was quick and they made sure i was comfortable through the entire appointment. Definitely recommend this office.

Experiencia positiva: Got a tooth extracted. Experience was pretty good except they pulled and twisted my tooth with pliers for like 15 seconds, Then stopped and had me sign a waiver. They should have had me sign the waiver first thing when I walked in as they knew I was getting an extraction. Not 15 seconds after prying and loosening my tooth with medieval tools. But hey whatever. The tooth is gone. Job is done.

I have put off dentist visits because of bad past experiences but if I would’ve known these two would be here, I would’ve made an appointment long ago. I have never felt so comfortable and they are so personable. 10/10 recommend this location based off staff experience and ease.

They are always very friendly and easy to work with. I still don't like going to the dentist but if I have to, this is where I go.

Experiencia fantástica: I never thought I could say I was a fan of a dentist but here we are. Shots in the gums have always made me want to climb out of the chair but with Dr Basakov they are almost painless - it actually feels like a pinch, where in every other experience that phrase has been a big fat lie. I have had others assisting and performing procedures (didn’t think to ask for names) and they have all been fantastic. The front desk staff is also fantastic. Every experience has been great and I didn’t think this level of satisfaction was even possible. They are on their game 100%

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Andrei Baskakov was wonderful, so was Dulce, she was the one that did my filling on my cracked tooth. Dr Andrei B was very good with communicating with me about all my options for my cracked tooth. The front desk girls were also very good, friendly and professional!! I'm really glad I found a good dental office.

Dolce was super-helpful and nice while assisting with molds I had done. Althea, however, was the superstar of the show. Polite, attentive, gave good directions and never just left me sitting without explaiing what she was doing next. Very impressed and very confident I choose the right new dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: We go to the Comfort Dental off of Buckly and Quincy. This office is comfortable and very clean. All of their employees are very kind and helpful. Our regular cleanings are fast and easy. I recently had to get a crown made for a broken tooth. This procedure took two appointments. I was amazed with how fast, easy, and almost painless this entire process was. We are very happy with them.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in tonight as a new patient and was very well taken care of and my dental needs were addressed and immediately taken care of with a plan in place. What wasn't covered with insurance was pretty affordable with finance options. I was weary about coming to a comfort dental but I was happily surprised by the care from the staff.
