Experiencia positiva: Front desk are the best girls work in the front desk very helpful. One little problem I had was talking to the x-ray technician. She’s so quiet soft-spoken I could hardly hear I’m 72-year-old man. Oral experience was very good.

Experiencia negativa: I am changing my highly rated review from a couple years ago and will never recommend this place again to anyone even though I have sent them many people. I am leaving this with a 1 star for the dentist and the dental hygienist, not reception. Over the years we have struggled with reception and errors made on their part of birthdates, insurance information, and appointments. There seems to always a problem with reception, which leads to frustration and curt dismissive behavior the front staff, without care for the feelings of the client who gave the correct information and is being told they are wrong. They said that they sent a text message, (so if you do go make sure you have a text message or you don’t have an appointment, don’t take word of mouth), I was even asked to prove that no text message was sent and that the phone confirmation was incorrect, although they could not prove on their end that they sent a text message. There was no accommodation made for the appointment, for the originally scheduled time made 3 months in advance, nor an apology. The only option was to schedule for a different day at a different time. You would hope that the client would be accommodated, especially after the many years of having their service. You would think that being a service provided that the conversation that transpired would have focused on making things “right”, instead of dismissive and stating that what they were being told was not accurate on that part. I pointed out that if their account of the interactions for the appointment was different from what our accounting was. How can both accounting of the events be the same if the statements are different. (Are you stating that the client is lying???) I saddened to change my review as the dentist and hygienist are absolutely amazing, however in good conscience after the many events of inaccuracies and errors on the part of the first people you encounter and last people you encounter recommend or stand by my previous review and allow anyone else to subject themselves to be treated so poorly. The repeated line was “I completely understand “ my response is if you understand then the treatment being received would not be happening. You can’t understand and still treat your client as you are treating them. I apologize to the hard working dental staff, but the behavior or reception is not something anyone should face. Also, as my husband and son were at the office the previous day for my son’s appointment the receptionist were talking in Spanish negatively about a client who was waiting outside the door. He looked at my son and said “this is why you need to know Spanish as they are assuming we don’t. That way you know when someone is talking about you in an unprofessional manner. “ so to the receptionist, you should not assume that individuals do not understand what you’re saying. Also being receptionist you are the customer service, the face of the company, remember that.

Experiencia negativa: The staff at this location are generally very good. The wait times on the phone and in the office are reasonable, which is a plus. However, I have a significant issue with the doctor himself. During my appointment, he seemed quite rude. I had come in for a second opinion on a tooth that I thought required a root canal. Throughout the appointment, he kept touching the tooth with a metal object. When I expressed discomfort by shaking, he made sarcastic remarks. After my appointment with the endodontist, I was informed that I actually didn’t need a root canal. In fact, all it needed was a refilling done. When I returned to the doctor, he was unhappy about cleaning up the cavity into the filling because, in his opinion, it needed a root canal, despite the endodontist’s recommendation. The refilling work was sloppy. The bite was not properly done, and the surface where the filling was applied was rough. I’ve had several fillings in my teeth from my previous dentist, and I’ve never left with a rough surface at the filling spot. They always ensure a smooth finish. When I returned to the doctor on the same day, he made some snarky comments before he went in to fix the bite and smooth out the filling surface. Overall, I believe his bedside manner is terrible.

I've had fantastic experiences from start to finish because I finally found a dental home where I feel safe & cared for . I had shared with the staff that I'm 71 yrs old & always have bad anxiety when having 2 visit a dentist & that it was currently happening while speaking to them. However, because of thier excellent customer service, they gently calmed me down,made me feel safe & in good hands, & I never felt rushed,etc ( plus, there was a t.v. in the examing rm, etc ). I highly recommend my dentist, Dr. Mohammed M. Ahmed, who was thorough in clearly & slowly explaining things to me, & impressed me with his patient care skills as well his gentleness during my painless tooth extraction.I'm sure that everyone coming here will find an incredibly, welcoming team .

Experiencia negativa: After nearly 8 years and never a cavity or other issue with my teeth at this office, the dental hygienist disregarded my request to not use the vibrating scaling thing. She mumbled something and shoved that thing in my mouth after she finished using the manual tools and polishing my teeth. Like she needed to make a point that I didn’t have a choice. Well, I do have a choice and I’m looking for a new dentist office.

Experiencia positiva: No one made me feel like my dental issues were of concern to them, short of what could be upcharged from what my plan covered... what my plan covered was made to be inadequate and instead of doing anything, they rescheduled months out any actual work on my mouth. My concern is they are hopng I'll be back in pain so they can pull my teeth instead of any effort at saving them. My hygienist was nice. The billing area, not so much - speaking Spanish regarding me in front of me... the doctor clearly uninterested in my dental hygiene and made even a cleaning unavailable to me claiming I needed deep cleaning... so I got no cleaning... I don't understand... What they did get was a full set of xrays they were able to charge for... being that i received no care at all... and an appt two months out for who knows what kind of care... guess i have to wait and see... Biggest issue was that beyond what they could charge for in addition to my full coverage insurance, i wasn't going to get. It was made clear that my medicare/medicaid full coverage insurance was not enough and my actual care was dependent on me paying more...

Their new office is lovely, Cindy’s the best, the front desk staff is wonderful. I initially made an appointment for a cleaning, but after experiencing a severe toothache, I called them to see if I could get in earlier, and they happened to have a cancellation. The check-in process was quick, and the hygienist who did my X-rays and cleaning was nice and professional. After my exam, the dentist explained my results and told me my options. As this was my first dentist appointment in four years, my anxiety level was quite high. They did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Ahmed had moved to a different practice and it had taken me a few years to find him again. I am 68 years old and have been going to dentist all of my life. This dentist is the best dentist I have ever been to. When I seen him, he had pulled his mask down and said check this out, he had grown a beard. He asked me how my family was doing and I told him that our 38-year-old son died last year he was so hurt. He has a few women working there, named Allison, Cindy and Rebecca. In my faith, they are all my sisters. We were all so happy to see one another. I feel like I am home.

Everyone working here - from the front office staff, to Dr. Ahmed, to the dental associates - has been kind, courteous and a top-notch professional. My bills are reasonable, and clearly spelled out in advance of any treatment, so I am not surprised. Yep, there is a lot to like about Babcock Dental Center.

Hygienist was very caring and took her time with me. Doctor was patient and professional and easy to understand. Getting crown in October and deep cleaning in December. Have to go 4 times a year now for cleaning but have insurance, so helps a lot. Office staff also easy to understand and thorough.

Experiencia negativa: I went to get checked out and after an hour and a half of waiting and multiple x-rays, I was left waiting for a supposed plan to follow, which they never gave me or sent to my email, and they want a review, but I still haven't fixed my mouth, they charge me 100 dollars and I have no idea if they're going to treat me or not. , note : if the email is wrong you could use text to my phone number.
