She went out of her way to ask her clinical team what the best strips are. She gave me good advice and helped me pick the best one! Super kind and helpful staff!

Experiencia negativa: I honestly don't trust Fixari dental practice upon my last appointment. On my initial appointment, they kept pushing thousands of dollars of "necessary" dental procedures on me. They finally completed my dental cleaning and provided a long list of follow up procedures. 6 months later, I had an appointment for my dental cleaning, a new hygienist presented a "deep cleaning" which insurance would not cover for $1322.00 which I declined. The dentist informed me, "we won't be able to move forward with your appointment since you declined deep cleaning." I got up and left with great frustration. Unfortunately, many doctor and dental offices operate like car dealerships with additional services (regardless of being necessary or not) and the bottom line is all they care about. Recent follow up: went to another very reputable dentist and got my teeth cleaned (no deep cleaning needed) at ZERO cost plus some of those "necessary" additional procedures they pushed on me were also turned unnecessary.

Experiencia negativa: I would like to give zero stars but that’s not an option. They do not bill according to in-network insurance guidelines. I have had my insurance company tell me they are billing incorrectly, and they still refuse to fix it. I have now been fighting for months to get dental record sent to me and they continue to not follow the request I have sent with their own form. They continue to tell me someone will call me back and no one ever does. This has been going on for 6 months. Do not recommend this practice, and if you are going there, I can guarantee you are being charged incorrectly per your insurance coverage.

I came in very nervous due to my fear of dental work, but from start to finish they made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for. Tommy was incredible during my cleaning — constantly checking in to make sure I was okay and helping ease my anxiety. Jaymie did an outstanding job with my mold and temporary crown, and I was so impressed with how perfectly they matched the color so everything looked natural right away. And of course, Dr. Bobby went above and beyond by saving my upper left canine tooth and helping me avoid a root canal by placing a crown instead. Thanks to him, my mouth finally feels like it’s getting back to normal. The level of care, patience, and professionalism at Fixari Dental is truly exceptional. I’m so grateful for the entire team and highly recommend them to anyone — especially if you’re nervous about dental visits like I am!

Experiencia negativa: ​I had an appointmentformy son scheduled here recently and was extremely disappointed with the lack of respect for my time. I ended up waiting for more than 45 minutes past my scheduled slot. When I inquired, I was simply told the dentist was "busy with another patient." ​There seemed to be no sense of urgency from the staff, and no one checked in to explain the delay or offer an apology until I spoke up. It really makes me wonder if the office is double-booking appointments at the expense of patient care. A 10-minute delay is understandable; 45 minutes without communication is unprofessional.

Experiencia negativa: We decided to leave Fixari Lewis Center after a few years of poor billing practices. They want you to pre-pay for services and then if/when the miscalculate the insurance, you have to bug them to get a refund. Also, I received a bill with no indication for what. After calling, it was for x-rays. Totally reasonable and the price was fine, but we did not discuss the cost during the service.

Experiencia fantástica: My child had a wonderful experience at Fixari Dental today. Dr. Maggie and her entire team were excellent and extremely patient. They took the time to explain the procedure clearly and made sure we understood everything beforehand. My 12-year-old was made so comfortable that she fully trusted Dr. Maggie and calmly went through the tooth extraction without fear, which meant a lot to us as parents. The front desk staff was also very efficient and quick, making the entire visit smooth from start to finish. Truly amazing teamwork from everyone at Fixari Dental. We are very grateful and highly recommend them.

We found this dentist because they were in-network for us under Metlife, but before choosing this dentist we checked out the reviews and offices. They have excellent reviews, convenient office locations (Lewis Center, Pickerington, and Canal Winchester), and friendly welcoming people. The offices are clean and beautiful, full of modern high-tech dental equipment like the panoramic xray machine. Front desk reception, dental assistant, hygienist, Dr. Fixari, everyone was welcoming, friendly, professional and kind. There are so many amenities. For the first visit, they gave a nice little welcome goodie bag, which was sweet. There's complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mini bottled water, and even cookies in the comfortable spacious waiting area. The were respectful of my time and did not keep me waiting for my scheduled appointment. The exam room has a MASSAGE CHAIR, are you kidding me. It has a remote control for heat and vibration massage, and I could watch tv or look out the window. How thoughtful, they ask about your preferences (mint or bubble gum, do you prefer lots of dental info or just say what to do, etc.) The cleaning was gentle yet thorough, conscientious about rinsing out and suctioning. Teeth felt nice and clean after the apt. We looked at my xrays, they answered all my questions, everything went well and I scheduled my next visit. Contacting the office is easy and pleasant. Scheduling an appointment was quick with plenty of availability. They clearly explained billing and can provide itemized FSA-eligible receipts. So far I've only had a cleaning, and will be back later for cavity fillings. I highly recommend this dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I suddenly had tooth pain and needed a new dentist (new insurance), and Fixari got me in right away! Peggy greeted me with such warmth, offered me beverages, and showed me to my room. She let me know my chair had massage and heat functions (nice touch!) and let me know the team would be right in. I didn't need to wait, as Savannah popped right in to greet me, ensured I was comfortable, and got to working the problem right away. After taking very gentle and quite impressive imaging, Dr Fixari came in to greet me and walked me through my scans. Turns out, I needed a root canal so they worked with my insurance and we got it scheduled quickly. The entire staff could not have been friendlier, happy to answer all my questions, and genuinely cared about every part of my experience. Today, I returned for my first root canal. I was nervous as we've all heard horror stories, but Savannah and Dr. Fixari both allayed my anxiety and got me in and out in 90 minutes! I had ZERO pain, and they frequently checked in with me, asking if I was ok or needed anything. I was too busy watching Gilmore Girls on the cleverly placed screen right above my chair to even pay attention to whatever else was going on. They could not have been more professional, caring, and friendly. Each staff member I've met is as warm as the next. This is truly a great team! They've carefully curated a culture of inclusion, leading with respect for the patient and providing genuine elite dental services, while at the same time caring for each individual person that walks through their door. This does not happen by accident, and it's incredibly impressive! I genuinely appreciate the time they took to help me every step of the way. I go back in a couple months for a check up, but as the novacain has worn off, I'm happy to report im now pain free! They won a customer for life, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely Blown Away by the Care & Affordability Going to the dentist is never my favorite, and walking into a dental office on a Saturday as a new patient with no insurance and a painful emergency had me bracing for the worst, especially after seeing how beautiful and comfortable the Fixari Family Dental offices are. I was honestly convinced I’d have to give up my right arm to pay the bill, but the pain was bad enough that I was ready to do it. From the moment I walked in, though, I was completely put at ease. Jenny, the hygienist, was incredibly sweet, took x-rays, talked me through everything, and made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. Then Dr. Maggie came in and truly exceeded all expectations. She clearly explained the cause of my pain, prescribed antibiotics, and gave me detailed instructions on how to manage the discomfort until I could get in to see a specialist. But the biggest shock? The bill. I was genuinely surprised by how affordable the visit was. Given the circumstances, I expected the worst, but what I got was an experience that was not only professional and kind—but also fair and accessible. The professionalism, kindness, patience, and comfort I received has not gone unnoticed. In fact, it has me seriously considering Fixari Family Dental as not just the best place to go—but the only place to go. The staff were kind and professional. The waiting area is beautiful and the exam rooms are designed with patient comfort in mind. My husband and I have been looking for a dentist closer to home. First, I gave them a 5-Star review only because I couldn't give them a 10-Star review . My wife was recently a new patient there, and was highly impressed with their service and personal treatment. They obviously took our insurance, so I booked an appointment. I knew I needed to have extensive work done that would involve labs and equipment to be made and fitted. Originally, I saw Dr. Kyle Bader, He was an excellent dentist who strived incredibly hard to get everything perfect. I had several appointments, but unfortunately after many visits, I just was not satisfied with the aesthetic results. I am certain it wasn't because of anything Dr Bader did, or didn't do. I think I am a unique challenge, and at some point I felt the need for a fresh set of eyes on the case that might prove to be helpful. So I called and asked to see Dr. John Fixari. I was given an appointment that same day. My thought was his family name is on the sign, and he essentially is the face of this long time family dental practice. I explained the situation, and he agreed to take a look. He assured me right away they would do everything possible to make it right, and ultimately me happy no matter what. I will spare you the boring details, but I would estimate I had at least a dozen appointments, multiple times the lab was forced to start over again from scratch. I have been a difficult case for every dentist I have ever seen my entire life. It isn't the dentist, it's more my unique underlying anatomy. Long before today's review, I am absolutely sure they were losing money, probably thousands of dollars. They absorbed the cost of lab fees, appointments, x-rays and scans. Not one time, was I asked to pay for anything additional. I was never treated as though I was a thorn in their side, or a problem case. In fact they were the nicest group of people in a medical practice I have ever encountered. I am happy to report that I am now pleased with the results. Dr Fixari, and this practice were true to their word. All businesses should strive to be like this, but often will fall short when it begins to cost the business money. I highly without question recommend this practice!! Thanks to Dr Bader, Dr Fixari, Dental Assistants: Roxie, Londyn, Kathie, Jenny, and others. If you choose them you will first encounter the nicest, most professional administrative workers you could ever meet. Thanks to you Miss Peggy, and Zack. I always felt welcomed by you. Experiencia negativa: I and my son had real bad experience at the Lewis Center location. I scheduled cleaning appt for us. In the visit, an assistant requested us to take x rays. She took my full mouth x ray, and then forced me to take bitewing x rays too. I refused bitewing x rays as I had no issues, just clean teeth, and they already took full mouth x ray. The dentist came in and told me they won't clean my teeth if I didn't take bitewing x rays. I and my son left, didn't have teeth cleaned. However, the dentist refused to clean our teeth, claimed my insurance for full mouth x ray and exam. I agree with other review that " this place doesn't care about you, only your money". I post publicly just to inform people that Fixari family dental didn't take care of my teeth, but charged for something I don't need.

Experiencia negativa: If I could leave zero stars I would. I decided to take my daughter to the Lewis Center location to have her remaining baby teeth pulled (five teeth), I made sure to find a dentist that is covered by the exhusbands insurance which my daughter is under (12 years old). Well, after she had her X-rays and cleaning the assistant came in to tell me the cost of what was needed BEFORE her teeth were extracted and how half is due just to make an appointment to get her on the books-even after being told it was an emergency situation for my daughter and risk of infection. The total out of pocket cost that I ended up paying in full was $659.20 with them claiming her insurance only covered $250 and how that was the remaining. I asked how the price is even that high when her insurance is accepted there. They printed out this bill “detailing” what was “covered” and what was not. So I forked up half to get her in the books and half on the day of her actual appointment. Well, my exhusband refused to pay me back for the out of pocket expense that I paid even with me being on a low income/fixed income on disability. I had to bring him to court in hopes I would get back that $659.20, just to find out that his insurance did in fact cover the procedure and how he owes me nothing since it was covered by his insurance-then coming to the realization that Fixari NEVER ran his insurance BEFORE giving me that bill and BEFORE her procedure was even done! What doctor/dentist/medical office doesn’t run the health insurance first and then give you a bill if anything is owed! Point is here, they charged me $659.20 for a service that was in fact covered by his insurance and NEVER ISSUED ME A REFUND of $658.20 that I paid with my money!! They have literally STOLEN money from me, robbed me blind really with false insurance information! That bill was a lot and it took time to save up half just to get my daughter on the books for this supposed “emergency situation.” When really, they have taken care of her teeth that day and never giving me that huge bill since the insurance ended up covering it all! They never ran the insurance and straight up bamboozled a lot of money out of me, money that I don’t have! I have yet to receive a refund! I’m sure I’ll get the same generic generated reply to this review where nothing gets done or fixed and it will be a battle to get my refund from them!! Clearly a business who lies through their straight teeth to squeeze as much money out of you by any means necessary and will hold onto and keep that money come hell or high water with never issuing any refunds!!! BAD business and BAD customer service with dentists and a company that lies to their patients, even lying to children, only caring about the money and not taking care of my daughter’s emergency teeth extraction! ALL LIES to get me to pay for something I didn’t even have to pay for in the first place!! I also NEVER got a detailed bill after they ran the insurance like I was promise by one of the staff members in the billing department, that was months ago!! I’m sure it’s because on that itemized bill detailing what insurance covered would prove they owe ME money and would have to issue a full refund! I had to go to court to find this out when I should have never had to do that in the first place even when they told me they would instantly email that itemized and detailed information on what insurance covered-which was everything!!! They are honestly trying to keep my money!! Well, they will not get away with this. I’m demanding a full refund NOW or else more action will have to be made concerning this fraudulent transaction against me!!

Experiencia negativa: This happened years ago but I thought it would be good to share. When I was looking for a new dentist I decided to come here. Leading up to that point I never had a cavity. But somehow they claimed I had one. At first I didn't believe it but since they are supposed to be medical professionals I trusted them. Huge Mistake! It wasn't after getting the supposed cavity filled that I realized I was likely played. I look back now and realize nothing was wrong but falling into the trap of malpractice I ended up paying for it by being in constant dire straits pain. I eventually decided that it would be best to take the tooth out. So when I told them they at first agreed. But then after making the appointment to do so they constantly bombarded me with calls to "confirm my appointment." I knew they were trying to talk me out of it and get the far more expensive root canal which would only cause more pain and worsen the situation. By the grace of God my old dentist has called me and brought me right in when the situation was explained. I only had to mention to them once I wanted the tooth out and I was sent straight off to an oral surgeon. Who that very same day pulled out my tooth. Turns out it was a really dead tooth. You could tell by all the black color around it. I felt so much relief. Long story short avoid this place unless you want to risk being a victim of malpractice. And I wasn't exactly angry for losing a tooth. I was angry about the unbearable and unnecessary dire straits pain I suffered. Not to mention I lost hundreds of dollars that I'll never get back. To be honest I haven't been back to a dentist since that horrific experience. So I caution you. I realize not everyone will have this kind of experience but that was mine and I pray that nobody ever has to suffer the same way I did.

Experiencia negativa: I called and spoke to Tiffany, the phone Clerk Representative. I asked how much a procedure was roughly, and once she gave me a price estimate, Which was much higher than other establishments in the area, They copy by surprised and I said “oh my” Which she proceeded to hang up on my face. You can tell the call did not drop because You can hear the phone being put down on its placement as she was hanging up. Extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend this Establishment due to poor customer service. I understand if I was being a mean person, but I was not

Experiencia fantástica: Had a problem with pain in my jaw. Called, and they got me right in, same day. Very lovely and helpful people all around. Specially the lovely lady at the front desk and Sanora (if I’m spelling her name correctly) was very nice and very helpful. She’s a keeper. Dr. J was great. Got right to the problem and had a great solution. He’s really knowledgeable and very professional. The whole place was nice, like walking into a spa. Everyone wanted to take care of me and make me feel comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: Although I am a fairly new patient of Fixari Family Dental, my experience is so good that I feel I must do a review. There are three Fixari dental offices but I go to the Lewis Center, OH location. I’m 75 years old so I have had a good number of dentists over the years but Fixari Lewis Center is the nicest dental office I have ever seen. It is a fabulous building with a spacious parking lot. The people there are professional, polite and very friendly. This building is filled with state of the art dental equipment. It is quite impressive seeing what the newest technology can do. I just wanted to comment on my most recent dental work which involved my four top front teeth. These teeth, after all my years of use, were pretty rough looking and had stains, deteriorating fillings and decay. They are the teeth most prominently seen by others so I really needed help for both appearance and functionality. They really needed crowns which would require decay removal, teeth shaping, temporary crowns and lastly four top front crowns. When everything was completed over a couple different days, the finished product really exceeded my expectations. The color and construction of the crowns is extremely tooth realistic and they are quite durable. The fit and match to existing teeth is spot on. My smile looks fabulous now. I would give this work a 10 out of 10 for real. Those working on me were Jenny, Kenzie and Dr. Maggie Feazell. They are pros and are so friendly and conversational. They are very patient with anyone asking many questions and they always periodically ask if you are doing ok during any procedures. If you visit this office for a consultation, they will evaluate your present dental condition and will recommend any work you should consider. It’s nice that they work well with dental insurance providers and they will give you a detailed workup statement showing costs and insurance coverage and you can decide what you want to do. He was able to repair my chipped tooth (with a cool new device that models your teeth) and explained how to prevent it from happening again. Also, I really appreciate how the office is family oriented and focused on doing good in their community :)

Experiencia negativa: I have had multiple bad experiences at the canal Winchester location! They don’t answer the phone or return calls!im a senior citizen and recently had Covid and felt is was best to stay home Vs. going to the dentist and spreading the Virus per my Doctors recommendation I was diagnosed at about 5 PM on a Friday afternoon and I called Barry first thing Monday morning to advise them. I would not be coming in due to the Covid. I gave as much notice as I could possibly give because they don’t answer the damn phones on Saturday and I understand that, but I shouldn’t be dinged for a missed appointment for having Covid and not coming into the office and spreading the virus.

Experiencia fantástica: My first experience with Fixari was a week ago when my front tooth chipped. Fixari was the 5th dentist office I called for an emergency appointment and they got me in asap. I got a root canal from Dr. Bader and a temporary crown that happened to fall off this week (temps are finicky) and they responded the SAME and fixed it today on a Saturday! Sabrina really honed in and made sure that the fix was perfected and to my liking and the temp crown feels so much better! The first impression of this practice really blew me away and I’m looking forward to making this practice my primary dental care going forward!

The hygienist was very gentle, attentive, and genuinely cared about my comfort throughout the visit. Experiencia fantástica: Switched Dentist after many years for several reasons. I was nervous and skeptical as I have had dental issues my whole life! Dr. Maggie and dental assistant Jennie, took care of all my anxiety! I was leaving on a tropical vacation In 2 weeks and discovered I had a dental issue that could.cause problems on vacation if not addressed. Dr Maggie actually came in on her day off to personally handle my dental care needs. There was a lot more courtesy and kindness through the whole process that I can’t fit on this review. I have a background in insurance so i made sure i was informed of my plan before coming here…. chose this place because they’re supposed to be the best.. had a bad experience with a few difference dentists in columbus. Went in for my YEARLY cleaning. They only did x-rays and then told me a cleaning wouldn’t be covered (it’s covered under my plan) spent 2 hours in the chair doing x-rays… the dentist comes in and tells me i need a deep cleaning.. ok cool that’s for another day.. assistant comes in and tells me that’s $2200… because of a diagnosis the DENTIST FAILED TO MENTION. So they wouldn’t do my yearly cleaning and then billed my X-rays all diagnostic yet failed to inform me of such diagnosis to my face… do not come here

Experiencia fantástica: I have always had issues with dentist my entire life. A broken wisdom tooth required a visit and I decided to give the Fixari practice a try after reading the great reviews. I was met by Kennedy when I arrived and she was very friendly. After getting to the treatment room I met Reghan and Dr. John. Both listened to the issues I had with other dentist and guaranteed me that they would do everything they could to make me comfortable. They did an outstanding job and the extraction went off without a hitch. I am already planning on addressing other issue with them. I wish I had found a dental practice like this before. They are caring, friendly and genuine. I highly recommend the Fixari Dental practice to you. You will not be disappointed. Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency and needed to find a dentist quickly as my usual doctor wasn't available. Fixari Family Dental was able to get me in the very next morning. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed by this place and their staff. The building is beautiful and equipped with state-of-the art amenities. It's apparent why they've been rated so highly for the last several years -- they take patient comfort to a new level. Their pricing was competitive for a procedure I needed and they went over all the details of what my insurance would cover and how much I would have to pay. There were no unexpected surprises on billing. I had to go back for follow-up as I was continuing to have discomfort and again they were able to get me in quickly and offer referrals in case I needed to go to a specialist. Dr. John, Kathie, and Sabrina took time to listen to me and approach my issue with care and compassion. I'll be switching to become a permanent patient at this practice.

The establishment itself is absolutely beautiful and doesn’t at all feel like a dental office. They’re quick with scheduling and quick to get you back and in and out. The staff at Fixari Family Dental could not have been more helpful or accommodating, and were 100% worth the 1h20m drive. Dr. Maggie and Carla were empathetic, professional, and most importantly helpful. The office was stunning but in a way that was comfortable rather than intimidating. I'd fully recommend this practice for all of your dental needs, and am strongly considering flying back to Columbus to continue my dental care in such a caring environment.

Unfortunately, I missed my scheduled appointment, but when I reached out to reschedule, I was met with a complete lack of understanding and flexibility. Instead of offering to schedule a new appointment, I was told to call back and check if there were any openings available on the same day. This approach showed a clear lack of concern for my time and needs. It felt like they didn't care about me or providing good customer service. I hope they will take steps to improve their customer service and become more customer-centric. Until then, I would caution others to be aware of their policies and potential lack of support.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away they are like CAR SALESMANcar, I went to have my teeth clean and they wanted me to have 3 crowns at $2300 they lied to me about being in the network got a bill from my carrier telling me that I had to pay $400 FIXARI. DONT TRUST THEM I just had my teeth cleaned 6 months earlier nothing mentioned about 3 teeth needing crowns.

Experiencia fantástica: I had sever tooth ache, called my dentist who was out of town .this was a long holiday weekend and most offices were closed.i was lucky to find out the Fixari Dental was open .they saw me immediately and provided the needed care.the facility was pleasant and clean and the Doctor was very caring and professional. Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend the Lewis Center group. I had a filling crack on Monday night. I called but they were closed so I decided to go at 7am Tuesday morning to the Lewis Center location to see what could be done. Front desk person was excellent. She listened to what I needed, walked back and talked to the group. She came back to say Dr. Cavan was available to help me out. I filled out forms, able to enroll in the annual insurance plan they offer(very reasonable). Then she took me back into a room where Ragan took over. She was very thorough and friendly. We got the necessary prep and paperwork done for the doctor to come in. He was very nice as well and concerned of my comfort. I needed a crown and able to get temporary immediately then will get the permanent in two weeks. Does came into put on the temporary and she set up my follow up appointment for the permanent crown seat and a cleaning as well. From start to finish, I felt very comfortable, like being part of a family. Thank you to all of you for the great experience. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
