Experiencia fantástica: I have had technically eight implants. All by Dr Rekos. Every interaction I have had with any of the staff has been professional, explained in detail and followed up. Early on in this process I got home and felt so good I was going to go to my nephew's football games that night. I laid down for a nap. Dr Rekos called my wife asking how I was doing. She said He is doing well but I am worried because he wants to go to the high school football game tonight. He asked what I was doing. She said he laid down for a nap. He said don't worry he'll wake up about halftime. Could not recommend them more highly.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here with Dr. Vergara has absolutely blown me away. I put off wisdom tooth extraction (all 4, surgical) until I was 25 because I was so scared and dreading it. From the first consult over a year ago, Dr. Vergara took the time to answer ALL of my questions, in detail, and eased my fears while remaining honest and realistic about the risks of the procedure. I absolutely trust her and only her for oral surgery, as someone who is anxious about being sedated. The office is quite friendly overall. I had a pretty simple extraction case for all 4 but I’m still impressed that I’ve had virtually no pain, normal amounts of swelling, no red flags for issues, etc. ever since waking up from surgery. She even gave me personalized guidance because of a medication I was taking that could’ve affected my surgery, she worked with me on it to ensure the procedure was safe while sticking to our schedule. I cannot recommend her enough for diligent patients who have lots of questions and are anxious. She’s so kind and intelligent, I couldn’t have had a better experience. Dr. Vergara even called me the night after my procedure to check in, which I wasn’t expecting but was a very pleasant and kind surprise. Highly recommend this place!! They are not cheap and the front office isn’t super transparent about pricing or insurance coverage, but I believe I got what I paid for 100%.

She is highly knowledgeable and explained the surgery and post-surgery details in a clear, helpful manner. Experiencia fantástica: I had such a great experience with Dr. Border. Ended up putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed and unfortunately dealt with the consequences. After years of no issues I ended up having one of them get infected and needing to be urgently removed. They were swift and knowledgeable and got me in quick for surgery. They put all my nerves at ease and I was surprised about how great everything turned out despite all my anxiety leading up to the procedure. Even with the infected wisdom tooth and one impacted Dr. Border removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth and I have no swelling and minimal pain post op. Dr. Border even called me after hours to check in and offered some tips moving forward and to reach out with any issues which I really appreciate. He really went above and beyond. Would recommend this office to anyone! Everyone was absolutely great and provided me the best service possible.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot speak highly enough about Rekos and Border Oral Surgery. I allowed my wisdom teeth to erupt and waited too long to have them out. Last Friday I called them (was not currently a patient) at 9:15 am and by 12:30 pm I was home with my two problematic wisdom teeth out. From the conversation on the phone and fitting me in last minute on a Friday; (isn't that always how dental emergencies happen?) to the friendly faces helping me with paperwork at the front desk. The lobby is beautiful. They didn't mind my rambunctious 3-year-old touching their beautiful fish tank and filling it with fingerprints. (sorry all :) ). Xrays were Fancy, painless, and quick. And Dr. Rekos walked in, shook my hand, and offered to relieve my pain same day! I was amazed. I was able to elect for laughing gas and local lido. I have never had a cavity or any dental work, so this was my first experience; and like many others, it seems so strange to say, but I actually enjoyed it. I didn't feel any pain. Was sent home with incredibly detailed instructions and I'm happy to report I'm healing incredibly well. Just since Friday I have been recommending Rekos and Border Oral Surgery to any and everyone I know! Thank you for taking such incredible care of me. It felt like I was treated like family, though we had just met. Best dental/oral surgery experience!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!!

Dr. Vegara and her staff were incredibly warm and friendly from the initial consultation to the end of the procedure. At my initial consultation, the sweetest nurse took me back to the room and assisted Dr. Vagara. I was very impressed with the thorough explanation of the procedure and how they put me at ease. I called the office when my tooth appeared to be infected prior to my appointment and the staff promptly called in a prescription and moved my appointment up. They addressed all of my concerns quickly and efficiently. On the day of the procedure, they were punctual, friendly and I felt confident in their care. After the procedure, I felt comfortable and had very little pain. Dr. Vagara called me to check on me and even gave me her cell phone number if I ran into any issues. I am so impressed! If I ever have to have another tooth pulled, I'd choose Dr. Vegaro every time! Highly recommend!

The only discomfort I felt was the prick of a needle to numb the area for surgery. It was the easier oral surgery I've ever had. His staff was also beyond professional and caring. Experiencia fantástica: If you need an oral surgeon, I would recommend Dr. Border enthusiastically. He is very skilled, my wife had a broken tooth removed and an implant placed in the same visit, and she had no complications at all from the surgery. He is very caring and made sure that she was feeling well taken care of. He called her a few hours after the surgery to make sure things were going ok and to see if she had any questions. And in the end, you can't tell the implant from her other teeth. Overall, we had an excellent experience with Dr. Border and the staff. You can't go wrong with this office.

Not only is he a skilled and dynamic surgeon but possesses compassion, empathy and grace. I felt well cared for. Thank you! Experiencia fantástica: I recommend Rekos & Border 110%! I am 53. I am more than a little ashamed to admit that I'm absolutely terrified of the dentist. Oral surgery is unspeakably terrifying; another level altogether. It is with this mindset that I approached a tooth removal and implant with Dr. Border and his staff. Thankfully, I couldn't have been more wrong. I explained my trepidation to everyone on the staff-- everyone!-- and they did everything possible to make me feel comfortable and to explain the process. They were extremely professional and extraordinarily patient with me. They met me at my level and worked with me to figure out how to get me through this process, often with some creative thinking over simple things like x-rays. On the two "big surgery" days I received calls directly from Dr. Border hours after leaving the office to make sure I was still okay. I've never had follow-up or care like that for an outpatient surgery before. The thing that surprised me the most was the overall lack of pain or complications in the aftermath of the surgeries. I had prepared myself for a real ordeal and, instead, discovered that I was able to resume pretty normal activities the next day. Discomfort? Sure. Regular eating? Not for a few days. But nothing like I imagined... extremely smooth sailing. I know that oral surgery has come a long way since the 1980's, but this is also the result of a doctor and a staff who are gentle and who really care about the patients. I recommend Rekos & Border quite enthusiastically! This is a good group of people who care about their craft and care about the people they serve.

Experiencia fantástica: I don’t do this a lot, this one needs to be done. I am a big guy but a big baby when it comes to inflicted pain. I also can get very anxious with a few people who I don’t know working in and around mouth and face. When I arrived I was met by a very friendly receptionist. I did the usual ID stuff. Shortly there after I was brought back by a tech or hygienist. She was as pleasant and funny as the receptionist. I met the Dr and shr put me at ease immediately. Everyone was professional friendly and my comfort obviously a priority. We as comfortable as can be for an extraction. I would highly recommend this oral surgery center to everyone I know. Joe

I had to have a tooth out and also a 'deep bone biopsy' (in my case, removal of a cyst near the root of the tooth) - and felt confident that I was in good hands from the first consultation thru the actual surgery. Experiencia negativa: Got a really weird and uncomfortable interaction , as I’m with here with my sister was told I couldn’t wait in the main lobby area , which had a completely empty side.. and yet there were people who aren’t patients waiting in the main lobby.. like what? So now I’m waiting in the lobby where the main doors are and there’s no heating .. out here so If you look like me I don’t suggest you come here. If there’s empty chairs .

Experiencia fantástica: The office staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they paid attention to calling me by my right name. The nurse who put my IV in was amazing. I didn’t feel the needle AT ALL! (I’m sorry - I don’t remember her name.) Dr. Border is great! During the consultation he was very straightforward about what I needed to have done. He presented different levels of sedation and explained which one typically works best. He has an easy-going personality that helped put me at ease. I highly recommend Rekos and Border , and I’m not even too apprehensive about going back for the second part of the procedure, after having the first part done today.

To my utmost surprise, I responded that I have a full time job and have a private insurance. Then she said: HOW OLD ARE YOU?!!! what the heck?.....you do not accept old people? beside isn't this illegal to ask the age! I could not bare to listen more to this idiot, so I hung up! So I give negative star to this place!

From the first consultation through the procedure and after care, the staff was great. One of the best you'll find. As for the surgeon, Dr border, he was fantastic as well. He told me he was going to "sneak that wisdom tooth right out" which made it sound simple. He was right, he did just that. He was so precise I had no swelling and no pain after! I'm sure he tells everyone that but if he says it, it's true. Thanks to the whole team there, they truly are a tremendous group.

She chose the tunes they listened to during the procedure and introduced her to warmed blankets. It was all good after that!! Thanks guys!! So far, recovery couldn't be any better!!!

The staff were all very kind, and Dr Border was an encouraging presence in the room. He answered all my question before I went under, and kept the procedure absolutely painless. Experiencia fantástica: I had two wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Rekos about two weeks ago. He and his entire staff were absolutely amazing. I'm a grown woman, but dentists and oral surgery in general scare the living hell out of me. Prior to surgery, Dr. Rekos took time to discuss my concerns and came up with a plan I was comfortable with. I was extremely anxious when i arrived, and his sweet nurses held my hand chatted until the anesthesia kicked in. It was a lot of fear for a routine tooth extraction, but their kindness was deeply appreciated nonethless. When I called the following Saturday in pain, Dr. Rekos dropped what he was doing to meet me in his office for a follow-up. If ever I should need additional surgery (knock on wood), this is the only place I will go.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Dr Border and staff could not have been better, everything went smoothly. Dr Border took out a tooth that was broken at the gum line and put in a post for a crown, no pain involved and back to work the next day. Highly recommend if needing oral surgery.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Border and his team were amazing. The procedure was as pain free as it could be, they gave me thorough post care information (both before and after my procedure) and they let me pick the music we listened to during my procedure. It was great to hear Dr. Border sing along to some of the songs that came on. I woke up the day after with minimal pain, and I think that speaks to the quality of the work provided by Dr. Border and his team. Obviously it’s never ideal to need oral surgery, but if I had to have it, I’m happy it was performed by Dr. Border and his team.

The only issue was with billing, which I had to follow-up on multiple times (for a credit), but everything else was great!

Dr Border was very personable - he took his time walking me through why I needed wisdom teeth out in the consultation and answered all my questions. He saw me again before and after my procedure, and called me later that day to check in. The procedure itself was also seamless and I had minimal pain after. I would 100% recommend him to people!

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 recommend, I needed all 4 wisdom teeth out and 2 were impacted. Dr. Rekos did an amazing job. No swelling in my face and no pain and I’m 2 days in and I haven’t taken any of the Ibuprofen I was prescribed. I will be recommending you guys to anyone I know that needs their wisdom teeth out!
