They were accommodating even though their schedule was full, they squeezed me in and were kind and hospitable throughout the onboarding process. I had a terrible I’m talking worst experiences with dentists-their judgment and the fact that they don’t listen when I tell them I feel everything and need more anesthesia. Dr Wu was kind and empathetic bc of his own experience and explained everything to a T. No judgment. Gave me more anesthesia the instant I felt it during a tooth extraction. Came back to do cavity fillings and I didn’t even have to ask for anesthesia, he’d plan anesthesia placement perfectly bc I didn’t feel a thing. I would highly recommend him.

Experiencia fantástica: Best Dental experience I've had! I broke my back tooth around 11am. After a quick Google search I found SMILE PATHWAY DENTAL. I gave them a call and explained my situation. The very pleasant and helpful receptionist was able to speak with the DR. And get me an appointment for 1:30 pm same day. I was so grateful. After arriving i was Nicely greeted upon check in and took in the clean an relaxing ambiance of the office as I waited. After only a few minutes I was taken to the back where I met Dr. Wu. He was very polite and explained my options thoroughly. After agreeing to his recommendation for care I was prepared by the friendly staff. Shortly Dr. Wu returned and began the procedure. It was painless and gental. He explained what he was doing along the way as he worked. After a short while we were done. Im extremely greatful they were able to squeeze me in the same day, and really appreciated the care from the staff along with the quality dentistry I received from Dr. Wu. Thanks again. After a gum chewing incident that pried a crown off of my back molar I went to see Dr. Wu and his staff to put me back together. I was treated so well and the treatment I received was so excellent and professional that I was excited to write this testimonial. From my initial contact with their warm, friendly and informative Patient Care Coordinator Michelle, followed up by the excellent and personable assistants to Dr. Wu and then to Dr. Wu himself I knew I was in good hands. I encountered a team that took great pride in their work and in creating a lovely energetic ambiance which made the whole experience so much more positive and therefore ultimately more effective. Experiencia negativa: I’m not usually one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but since I rely heavily on others’ feedback when making decisions, I feel it’s only fair to share my experience. Dr. Wu isn’t my regular dentist, I came to this office as an emergency visit because my wisdom tooth was causing me constant discomfort and my usual dentist wasn’t available. I initially chose this dental office because of the exceptional reviews, and my consultation with Dr. Wu was excellent. He took the time to listen to all my concerns, not just about the wisdom tooth, but also about my past traumatic dental experiences. He was kind, patient, and professional, and made me feel genuinely hopeful about continuing my care here. Dr. Wu explained that he doesn’t perform extractions himself and referred me to their in-house oral surgeon, Dr. Merchant. Given all the positive reviews, I trusted I would be in good hands. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case. My experience with Dr. Merchant was extremely upsetting, one of the most traumatic dental visits I’ve had. He seemed rushed and distracted, bouncing quickly between patients. When he finally got to me, he applied the numbing gel and, without waiting even a full minute, began injecting the anesthesia in a rough and abrupt manner. I visibly flinched in pain, but he didn’t pause, check in with me, or acknowledge my discomfort in any way. It felt as though he had no regard for my fear or pain. After the anesthesia began to take effect, he left the room. I sat there dreading his return, afraid that the extraction itself would be even more painful. When he came back, I politely expressed that I understood he was busy but asked if he could please be more gentle, especially considering my history with dental trauma. Instead of listening, he cut me off mid-sentence and defensively said that the hardest part was over. I tried to explain that I’d had three other wisdom teeth removed without experiencing that kind of pain, but he interrupted again and immediately began the extraction. He finished quickly, but then left the room and didn’t see him again. I had planned to return and make this my primary dental office. After this experience, I’ve changed my mind. I’m still sore from the injection sites and deeply shaken by how little care or compassion was shown. Dr. Merchant had absolutely no bedside manner, and the entire experience added to the dental anxiety I’ve worked so hard to overcome. I’m giving two stars because Dr. Wu truly is excellent, and I appreciated the care he showed during the consultation. But I never want to go through something like that again.

The location has also received a face lift which I saw recently for the first time since the work was done. The place looks amazing and the staff is always welcoming. I feel safe and feel that I receive wonderful care there.
