They were able to get me in quickly because of what was going on, the office staff and Dr. Thompson were very understanding of how anxious I am about seeing a dentist. They explained everything they were doing and gave options when possible. All of the office staff were great, very professional, yet kind and supportive. Dr. Thompson was very patient, asked questions and really listened to what I had to say. He also did one of the things that is one of the hallmarks of a good MD/DDS, he was comfortable enough saying ‘I don’t know, but I’ll do some research’ instead of glancing over it or just not saying anything at all. The honesty and openness with that was refreshing. Excellent visit!

After spending three long years visiting two other doctors for dental implants and relying on temporary dentures, I was feeling pretty discouraged. Thankfully, my nephew's wife, Michelle, who works as a dental hygienist for Dr. Thompson, encouraged me to give him a try. I’m so glad I did! Fantastic experience: This is a great dentist. I had a tooth that was sensitive to cold for months but it went away right before my appointment. He told me to wait and not jump to doing something and see what happens. It eventually came back and we were better able to isolate the exact tooth. It needs a crown and I am leaving town for 2 weeks so he is coming in early one morning to do it before I leave. That’s very accommodating. We have been very pleased with this dentist and his staff!!

I had several procedures done today including 4 wisdom tooth extractions, calculus removal, a gum cleanout, a filling, and removal of an old permanent retainer from when I had braces. I had apparently forgotten to pick up my sedative from the pharmacy before the appointment, but they said it was no big deal and they had some on hand. Every single staff member plus Dr. Thompson were so gentle, kind, and thorough. Nothing began until I was sedated and numb enough to be able to cope with my fear of dentistry. They checked on me often to make sure I wasn’t in pain, were very kind to my husband who they allowed to sit through the whole procedure, and communication was straightforward and clear. Despite the fact that my face feels like I got a 1-2 punch from Mike Tyson, I am thrilled at just how much healthier and happier my mouth looks after today. I’ll admit it brought tears to my eyes after being so afraid of the dentist and so self conscious for so long. They went above and beyond to even made sure I was cleaned up and put chapstick on me after everything - so thoughtful. I will never go to any other office. Please keeping doing what yall do, you’re amazing. ♥️
