1 month ago Fantastic experience: First of all, I am absolutely amazed how everything went on my first and 2nd visit here, I cannot believe how scared I was in the beginning to go in. Getting every treatment done right and pain free. This place Rodeo dental has the most amazing attitude the best communication I could ever ask for. 2 months ago Negative experience: My kids love this place and they are very welcoming and gentle with my kids. BUT my daughter had work done that she needed anesthesia for and all went well except for when we were in the recovery room.. her eyes hadn't even opened and they asked if I could carry her to my car and repeatedly told me we can leave whenever we're ready with our stuff in her hands. I believe we should've been give a little more time in recovery without feeling like we're being kicked/pushed out.

2 months ago Fantastic experience: We were seen by Dr. R and Aubrey today and all the positive reviews are true! Our wait time was quick. We were entertained with the arcade and movie theater and I was able to get an appointment at the same time as my daughter and be seen in the same room. It took half as much time as our previous dentist, was significantly more comfortable, and felt like we had been coming here for years. Their whole team is fantastic. Their communication is top tier and they're very organized and clean. Definitely our home for all dental and orthodontic care going forward!

2 months ago Fantastic experience: I don't have any "before" shots because it was too horrible to look at! What a sweet kind bunch of professional, knowledgeable, great dentists and assistants! My new teeth look so natural. They fit well and feel great. I just got them this afternoon so I still have to learn to chew and swallow and talk, but I am very determined. I can now go out in a crowd and socialize and smile and laugh and feel at ease and not avoid the fun things of life.

3 months ago Fantastic experience: The dentist and the staff who work at this location are great. This was my first time comming to this location so i was nervous and overall i have a fear of medical offices. I will return to have more work done on my teeth at this location. They work with medicaid as well and they do a good job of explaning what is covered under your insurance.

3 months ago Negative experience: Other than the dentist, the staff at this office was genuinely warm and welcoming, and I don’t want to take that away from them. I made it very clear before my appointment that I struggle with severe dental anxiety due to a traumatic past experience, and I went in trusting that would be understood and handled with care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. After my x-rays were taken, the dentist came into the room, sat in silence for several minutes reviewing them, then asked me to turn around and look. What followed did not feel like an explanation or a conversation—it felt like I was being lectured about how bad my teeth were. Instead of feeling supported or reassured, I felt embarrassed, dismissed, and honestly worse leaving than I did coming in. I returned the following week for scheduled fillings and a planned root canal as part of the treatment plan. Within just a few days, one filling had already fallen out, and another broke apart shortly after. They also weren’t buffed out properly.. Feeling uneasy and unsure about everything, I decided to get a second opinion from another dental office. That visit was completely different. I was told I actually have significantly fewer cavities than originally diagnosed, and I was also informed that my insurance would not even cover a root canal on the teeth that were recommended. I left this experience feeling confused, frustrated, and honestly pretty shaken. When someone tells you they have dental anxiety, the way you communicate matters. In my case, I felt like that was not taken into account at all. While the staff was kind, I personally would not return, and I truly hope the dentist improves his bedside manner and approach with anxious patients.

3 months ago Negative experience: I had my appointment on May 1 th and they changed it on June 1th because the dentist was sick and when I came my appointment was at 12:00am and I ended up waiting an hour and thirty minutes for him to see me the truth I don't understand why I finished giving an hour and they are going to tend you when they want they attended to everyone except me

3 months ago Negative experience: If you expect to be seen at your appt time it won’t happen. In 2.5 yrs we always waited 30-40min past our appt time and then continue to wait another 10min in the room. They consistently over book not caring about patient time and schedules. Even hygienists said that clients are often upset about wait times with appts.

3 months ago Negative experience: TLDR: Rodeo is a joke and will tell you to go somewhere else. They will leave you in pain and not blink an eye. Dont waste your time here. They offer no treatment unless you specifically ask for it. Ive gone to Rodeo for years. I've had cleanings, a tooth extraction, and cavities filled. Most recently ive had severe tooth pain. I saw Dr. O. on Thursday to get my tooth hopefully pulled. He "couldn't tell which tooth it was" and sent me to an endodonist for a root canal. I don't want a root canal. I want it pulled. The next day I called back and asked for it to just be pulled. Dr. O was supposed to call me back and never did. I called again at end of day to be told "Dr. O already gave you a referral. Go there, and if you want it pulled go to an oral surgeon. He wont do it." I asked why. They said it's because i already had a root canal done on the tooth so extraction is different. Here's the funny (not funny) thing: Dr. O removed one of my other teeth I also had a root canal done on. So that excuse makes no sense. He did not offer me pain medication and only gave me antibiotics after I asked for them. Now, he knows im in severe pain and simply says "go see someone else." Rodeos call team told me my options now is to go to the ER since every dentist is closed and I can't get in until Monday. (Today is Saturday, ive been in pain since Thursday). I have recommended this place to everyone, and 5 people I know have actively started going. Now, we will all find somewhere else.

3 months ago Negative experience: Horrible will never go back, completely messed up my front tooth. I had a small chip on my left front tooth and they decided to “fix” it and ended up shaving it way too far down. Now a small chip turned into a massive issue because it’s completely lob sided. I tried to get them to fix it and they were rude and tried belittling me instead of fixing the issue they created. I’m getting a lawsuit ready because this is complete malpractice as they didn’t even check where they were sawing down.

4 months ago Negative experience: Very unprofessional!!! On the Billing side with private insurance they wait till last minute to submit claims to the point where emy insurance was not paying them and I had to pay the whole total...... They really dont care for ortho patients Be aware to be extended when your contract ends please spend your money in a better office I have been with my braces since March 2024 and to this day they still estimate 6 more months. They called today to reschedule my appointment it will be 9 weeks out for follow up appointment.

4 months ago Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with getting my temporary crown. The doctor didn't make sure I was numb enough and hurt me. Also the assistant and the doctor were both not gentle at all. They would just shove the utensils and camera in my mouth knocking my gums and other teeth. The doctor was not careful at all bumping my other teeth with his equipment every time he put them in and out my mouth. 4 months ago Negative experience: Today I accompanied my daughter to her dental appointment and as i was waiting in the lobby for her (im assuming she is the manager) she started yelling at multiple employess, very unprofessional especially in front of other people there with appointments. 5 months ago Negative experience: The most current visit took a solid hour to get called back. This is getting worse and worse. The staff is very professional but the wait times are unreal. It doesn’t matter if you are there for ortho or just regular dental, plan on hours. It will take a solid 30 or 40 minutes for them to call you back and then you will wait in the room for the same amount of time or longer.

5 months ago Negative experience: Tried this place for the first time after I heard they were reasonable - I’ve never been to a dentist that polishes before they scale, and that’s what they did here. And I am aware that you are supposed to scale the teeth first, then polish. I’ve never had a dental visit where a month later my teeth are worse than before, and several of my teeth are way more sensitive than they were before this visit (and I take really good care of my teeth). I don’t like leaving bad reviews but it’s clear that things aren’t being addressed properly here. Please change that.

5 months ago Fantastic experience: I take my kids here in the Greeley location. They love it. Arcade is a plus. My 10 yr old son likes that they give privacy. Theres locations where they do dental work infront of all patients. Not here. Which is nice. They had to remove the 2 front lower teeth on my 5 yr old daughter. They did a great job. Staff was nice and really patient with her. It did took a little long for the anesthesia process, but it was worth the time. She went in nervous about it and came out happy. I really recommend this location.

6 months ago Positive experience: they are so amazing!! they make sure to ask if you have any anxiety or previous bad experiences with dentists and try to make you as comfortable as possible, they helped me schedule my wisdom tooth surgery in less than 5 mins and i got an elective procedure done to separate my plasma from my blood and injecting it back into my mouth to help heal faster and i’ve had little to no swelling or pain!!

7 months ago Fantastic experience: I made an appointment Friday for Monday at 5. I was alerted that we may not be able to get work done because it was so late. When I got there it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The wait was a little long but not terrible, I was in and out in an hour and was able to get work done that night. I'm incredibly pleased with the work that was done here and the level of expertise and professionalism on display. The dentist, Dr. O, I think, did an incredible job of telling me what work needed to be done and why. Including tons of information that would have been helpful with the last dentist I saw. 9 months ago Negative experience: We have been clients here for over 3 years and why I haven’t switched is beyond me. EVERY SINGLE TIME we have an interaction here there is issues. I don’t even know where to start! The time; we spend HOURS in there it’s like ann entire days visit. Were taken back 30/1hr after our appt time. Insurance issues; they could only verify 1 of 3 children and we had the same insurance even at our last visit. Seems like we see a different provider each visit I can’t keep up with names. Finally thought we were getting somewhere and had somebody accept “personal responsibility” to take care of us and provide better care; Then I get a bill from that visit they bills my dental insurance for my daughter ortho treatment I pt out of pocket for! So more time missed of work calling ins and calling the office to figure it out. so I call to find her (my mistake for not remembering her name) but she now disappeared along with any other staff we’ve seem to get ok service from. Smh Nobody knew who she was nor a number we had been messaging on. Our Most recent interaction, 6/6 show up for my 9am appt which I made on the 5/29, however the “provider is out” again!!! “They tried to reach me” as they claim they always do. Nobody called she said they did and I have NOT ONE missed call I asked if they keep calling logs one admin answered yes the other said no. Regardless they said my call to schedule today was AFTER they attempted to reschedule me. I take the time off work to be here and knowing it’s an entire days process each time or it ruins my entire day. Nobody knows anything here. 0/10 do not recommend! If my daughters ortho treatment wasn’t almost done I’d switch providers.

9 months ago Negative experience: Soulless corporate assembly line with no respect for your time. I just moved to Greeley, a full-time graduate student without dental insurance, and was looking for a low-cost dental option for routine cleanings, which I undergo faithfully twice a year. Rodeo caught my eye because they offer Saturday appointments and mention "value" multiple times on their website. Making my first appointment was easy online with almost no waiting time. I filled out all of my paperwork online ahead of time. I arrived at 12:05 for a 12:10 appointment. The first thing you notice is the noise and chaos of the waiting area - great for keeping kids entertained, but there's no quiet place to wait and it's really an assault on the senses. They also blasted pop music throughout the entire suite. The single front desk worker took 10 minutes to appear as multiple people started lining up at the desk and then she couldn't find the paperwork I'd filled out so I had to fill it all out again on their desktop, leaving multiple other patients' identifiable information visible on her screen as I did so. By the time I submitted the paperwork it was 12:30 and she sent me back out to the noisy waiting area to wait for another 30 minutes. Eventually they called me back and took x-rays in a little closet area with no door- kids and families filed past and gawked at me 3 feet away with medical equipment in my mouth, then brought me to a room, also on full display behind glass doors. Children wandered around looking for parents and peeked in on me as I sat there uncomfortably waiting, yet again, for the next stage in the process. The front desk woman reappeared and made me get out my credit card for her while I was seated in the chair, paying upwards of $400 for the cleaning, exam and x-rays, which didn't seem very affordable to me, but it's been awhile since I've paid for this out-of-pocket, so what do I know. But having to pay from the chair felt awkward and frankly insulting. The dentist who finally saw me seemed competent and straightforward, no complaints there. He did the cleaning himself and it seemed good enough, as much as I'm able to ascertain- not the most thorough I've ever had, but not the most brusque either. He identified one asymptomatic tooth in need of a filling, I asked for a price quotation and, not impressed with my experience at Rodeo so far, decided to hold off. His chit-chat with his assistant made it apparent that he was only working here on contract to pick up extra cash - "dentists don't make what they used to" he even said at one point, just adding to the soulless, cash-driven feel of the place. By the time I got out of there it was after 2:00 - a routine cleaning and exam I'd had an appointment for took more than two hours. I found and decided to book with a non-profit clinic outside of Greeley for a second opinion on the filling - I called Rodeo to request my records and they told me I would need to physically come back in to sign a records release to myself. (Nice planning, there). So I did - once again, I was left with a long solo wait at the front desk - the (same) harried woman kept encouraging me to sit in the chaotic waiting room, I politely insisted on standing until she found the right form- what could have been a 30-second process took 10 minutes. Once she found it, she promised to have my records sent over by the end of the day - they were sent the following morning. Only the quality of the x-ray images they sent over were so poor that the new practice had to redo all of the x-rays I'd had done (and paid for) just days before. I am much happier at the new practice - even though they also treat primarily low-income patients, I feel like a human being, not a part on an assembly line. They seem to have a cohesive office culture that doesn't feel like everybody is just there for a paycheck. I don't want to square the blame too much on the front desk woman at Rodeo - she's clearly overworked and undertrained for her job; she needs HELP to be able to meet all of the demands of this busy practice.

9 months ago Negative experience: Never again will I take my kids here. My 5 year old needed a few caps and fillings so they decided to do it all at once under sedation. The crew was very friendly and comforting and made me feel very comfortable. I thought everything was going to be fine, until we got to the end. They told me they would start to wake him up, monitor him and as soon as he started to move they would bring me back to him. Then informed me we would sit for 15 minutes to monitor him and make sure he wakes up okay. Understandable. Well they told me he was done and told me I could go back in 5 minutes. When I got back there his eyes weren't even opened yet. He started moving a tiny bit and then he started to breathe very harshly. They said that was normal since they had to stick a tube down his throat during the procedure. Okay. But then the assistant picked him up and put him in my arms and said "Okay he's good we can take him out now" all while his eyes aren't open and he's seriously wheezing. Keep in mind I was brought back and sat down with him for less than 2 minutes. She then hurriedly grabbed the to-go bag for him and put her hand on my back and started pushing me towards the door. She went as far as to give me aftercare instructions while we were OUTSIDE and he was still in my arms acting no different then he was before. I told her I was concerned and she very shortly said "He'll be okay. Call if you need anything" and just walked away. I sat in my car with him for 30 minutes before I felt comfortable leaving and his breathing returned back to normal. The whole thing just seemed SO sketchy. Like they didn't want a liability on their hands if something did happen. His breathing and behavior was FAR from normal and they absolutely should have stuck to their "procedures" and kept us in that room for at least 15 minutes to make sure he was okay. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel SO uncomfortable. A little care goes a long way and this was far from it. No thank you. Not my kids.

In the past we went to other dental facilities and they wanted to strap him to chair while filling in cavities! Here at rodeo dental they gave him Anesthesia and he didn’t feel a thing! Since I have also had bad experiences at other facilities I decided to come to dental rodeo too. The staff is so kind and really takes their time to listen to my needs. 10 months ago Negative experience: We waited 45 minutes in the waiting area just to be called into a room. It was another 15 minutes of waiting in the room before someone actually came and got one of my sons for xrays. I get that businesses are busy and get behind, especially at the end of the day, but an hour wait!! That's ridiculous. None of the front desk girls said anything about being behind and when we asked how much longer they said they couldn't give us an estimate. Appointment was at 5 (we checked in at 4:50), the appointment didn't start until after 6! My kids are young, after an hour wait they were DONE!! Then they still had to do the actual appointment....it was unpleasant all around to say the least. To make matters worse, they took so long my kids missed their trick or treat event! I think we will be looking for a new dentist! Side bar-the actual doctor was very nice.

10 months ago Negative experience: I feel like my concern was not taken seriously and I went in twice. The first time I was told to go back to the dentist who did the filing which I understand but they didn’t even look in my mouth and just at X-rays. You can say the X-rays look fine but that does mean the pain I am in is imaginary. Second time I went in, I got the same response and was prescribed something for nerve pain. Well now either my tooth broke or a filling I had no idea I had fell out. Pain progressively got worse up to this point. The first dentist I went to messed my teeth up and this dentist didn’t care to help as much as they should have. Update: I spoke to Catherine at the Garden City location. She understood my concerns and informed me that I can either go there again or elsewhere, She just cares that it is done right either way. Update 2: Let’s just add they billed my Medicaid for things they did not do!

10 months ago Negative experience: Communication is terrible. My son needed cavities filled and I was not told until 45 minutes before his procedure that he couldn't eat after midnight. Seems like something I should have known about earlier. This was the third time we had tried to get the procedure done. Everytime we tried they had some sort of excuse why they couldn't do it. Would not recommend.

11 months ago Negative experience: Had not had a problem until today. I had already a treatment plan signed for what they had told me was for braces AND his spacer. I asked MULTIPLE MULTIPLE times before continuing if this was what I would be paying for the whole treatment and was told YES. Everything was signed and today they tell me they didn't add the freaking appliance (spacer) to the plan and that they are adding another 400 dollars to the plan. Well isn't that convenient for Rodeo Dental!? How are you going to tell me it's such amount, then just because you "forgot" decide to charge me more? I am fuming because that does not seem professional to me. How don't you forget to charge me everything I'm here. The payment is ONCE a month and if I'm here twice in a month, you charge me both times. Absolutely fuming today.
