Negative experience: long wait times and a little unprofessional. lots of staff sitting around chatting. went in for dental cleaning and they rushed it and then walked out and i see the dental assistant sitting down talking to coworkers as i wait for 50 minutes for someone to come in to let me know what’s happening next.

Fantastic experience: The ladies were so amazing! I needed an emergency appointment. They were kind gentle and funny. I was so comfortable. I am so grateful for them

Fantastic experience: This place is truly amazing! I'll be honest, driving by all the time made me think it was probably some place I wouldn't want to go. However, I tried it and I couldn't be any happier!! The team I have met so far is simply amazing! Everyone is always happy, has a smile on their face and takes VERY well care of you! I'm beyond anxious of dentists and haven't been in years. Tried to make up for it with extra dental care. It didn't help. So, I made an appointment, didn't have to wait long at all and was seen. Well, I had some things that needed to be taken care of. Dr. Felicia Parker is stunning! With her calm way to explain everything and trying to take (some) of my fear, she was able to do a fantastic job. I'm definitely not the easiest patient to deal with, given my level of anxiety, but she was just amazing and you can tell that she loves what she's doing. I had no pain and everything was taken care of within one week. Ok, two weeks. I'm definitely going back for my next check in 6 months as I know I'm in a good place there. Highly recommend this dentist!!

Negative experience: FRAUDULENT! Went in for a cleaning with a $22 Copay. They couldn't finish so they said they would need to schedule me to come back to finish and that I would pay the $22 then. I came back they "finished" the job and charged me $220 10X the quote. It's not about the amount I pay my debts because I'm not a thief. If you buy a set of 4 tires and they only have 2 so when you get the second pair out on they charge you for 9 more tires. AVOID AT ALL COSTS WHICH IS YOUR COST.

Fantastic experience: my experience here was AMAZING! i’m super anxious and haven’t been to the dentist in years because of it and they made sure i felt safe and were so gentle. the office was very clean with a kind professional face when you first walk in the door. the assistants were very kind and gentle when taking my x-rays. i believe her name was Vanessa and she advocated for me and made me feel safe. the hygienist was super awesome too! can’t wait to meet the doctor. i would give this place 10 stars if i could!

Fantastic experience: Had an absolutely incredible experience after going to a different dentist who didn't fill a cavity right. I was having the worst pain ever and explained to the dentist here at Open and Affordable that the old dentist's first thought after multiple bite adjustments was going to be a root canal. He reassured me that is a huge step to take over a cavity but not out of the question. Instead, he said we were going to refill it and see if it changes anything. He and his dental assistant spent 2 hours removing the old filling, found more cavity that wasn't cleared out, refilled it, filed it down, and scheduled a follow up appointment just in case there was something still wrong with it. I have never felt so comfortable in a dentist charge that while having the work done I nearly took a nap!! These guys are the real deal and I truly from the bottom of my heart am so grateful to have found them. They will absolutely be my go to moving forward. I HIGHLY recommend them if you're looking for a new dentist!!!

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience with this office! The staff was friendly, understanding, explained all the services and forms easily. They accept Medicaid and saw us the same day as a walk-in when my husband had extreme tooth pain and no other dentist in the area would see him for several weeks. The dentist was great! My husband was in severe pain, but didn't feel a thing after 2 extractions! He had 1 extraction done at another location and was in screaming pain! I was very impressed by the professionalism and great bedside manner of the entire staff! I made appointments for my family to go there in the future as well. I plan on switching dentists even if they are in another city. I will be coming back here for a long time

Fantastic experience: What a GREAT place to get dental work done at. I had to get a filling done and they are so patient and kind. From the moment you step into the building, it is a very comfortable environment. The ladies at the front desk are so kind, the doctor that did my filling was wonderful/ very communicative and the young lady that assisted the doctor delivered excellent customer service. Dental work sucks and can come with anxiety. I am so happy I came across this place because no matter who you get, they are there for you.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Joonas Koski and all the staff were so knowledgeable, capable, and kind. Each person who helped me explained the process and what he or she was doing. Everyone, from the front office, to the hygienist and assistants, and the doctor all gave me kind an effective care.

Negative experience: Honestly the care I received wasn’t terrible that isn’t my complaint at all, it’s definitely everything after that has caused me to removed my husband and myself from their care. I had my appointments set very specific due to loss of coverage with my insurance which I explained to them. They called 45 minutes before my appointment to cancel because they had not gotten approval definitely the most unprofessional experience I’ve had with my dental care and I previously used comfort dental so that should say a lot. I offered to call but they insisted they handle all of that but I called anyway and come to find out I was approved and have been active since the 19th. A call the day before would have been appreciated even if it was a scheduling issue on their end instead of some excuse that wasn’t even true. I also had lined up childcare and was out the money for that as well as time with active insurance. I whole heartedly wish I hadn’t wasted my time here and had gone somewhere else. If you’re looking for professionally run I would try anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Parker is fantastic! I'm one of those big wimps who cannot stand going to the dentist. Dr Parker had a steady, confident, and gentle hand when administering my injections. She did a great job of keeping me focused and calm. My repair was about 4 hours ago. The numbness has worn off and there is no soreness. The filling was shaped perfectly with no high spots. Despite my deep-seated fear of the dentist, I will be going back for a cleaning. 10/10. Thank you!

Negative experience: Went in with a cracked tooth and needed a crown. Got a temporary crown that has been extremely painful. They have canceled my appointment to get my permanent crown three times each time pushing it out another two weeks. Will definitely not be going back and do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I usually have horrible experiences with doctors and dentists . Especially dentists because of my anxiety but these ladies here went above and beyond to help me. I had the worst tooth and jaw pain resulting in two teeth being pulled. I couldn't pay upfront and my Medicaid was shut off. But they still helped me and will bill me so I can pay them when my check hits. It was a very overwhelming week for me and then helping me and making sure I wasn't in pain anymore was the nicest thing any Drs office or dentists office could do. Most everyone else would have turned me away but they didn't. Would give ten stars if I could. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They saw my fiancé for a dental emergency the same day and stayed open until 8pm to complete the work. We’re grateful they relieved his pain that day. After that, I’ll likely become a patient here myself.

Negative experience: I asked to speak with the dentist. I even offered a phone call. Neither happened!

Negative experience: DO NOT recommend unless you like your appointments to be rescheduled constantly and pushed out for months. Been a patient for a few years but nothing gets better. They ALWAYS have staffing issues which is the supposed reason for rescheduling. Latley they cancle appointments despite me having confirmation texts and voicemails. Seems like they can't keep employees and their receptionists don't know what they are doing. Time for me and my family to find a new dental office. I'm a very understanding person but has gotten ridiculous and unprofessional. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND DON'T GO HERE!

Fantastic experience: Was here just the other day for the first time to get a broken tooth fixed up. First thing in the morning on a Saturday and everyone did a great job. I get nervous at the dentist like a lot of other people, especially when it's my first time seeing them, and these ladies kept me calm and worked quick and efficiently. The assistant was great I believe her name was Veronica, she guided me through everything that was going on and really seemed to know her stuff. Thank you again! Dr. Parker was actually taking my budget into real consideration which absolutely blew me away. Explained what was happening to my tooth and the available options to fix it and the cost after insurance on everything. Never pushed me to spend anything, just fed me the info I needed to decide what to do. Really helped with the stress factor as well, she is a great kind dentist. Then at the end Ruby in the front got me scheduled for a cleaning in a few weeks and had me on my way home in like 2 minutes. They have a good team in there and a welcoming feel which is what i need at a dentist office. Give them a shot.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I was able to go to Espire Dental, they referred me to an endodontist for literally a fraction of the cost of what these people charged. Do not waste your time here and fall for their "low" prices. I promise they are NOT the "lowest around". Absolutely avoid. Just moved to the area and unfortunately this location came highly reccomended by friends. Now, None of us will be back. These crooks tried to tell me it's going to be $900 for a root canal. WITH insurance. I've NEVER had to pay more than my copay for the procedure. Also, when scheduling this appointment, I told the receptionist about my tooth pain and spent my entire evening being seen here only to find out they didn't schedule enough time to fix my tooth pain to begin with. (Prior to being quoted an outrageous amount.) Please save your wallets and time, not worth it.

Fantastic experience: These wonderful people got me in incan emergency and took great care of me and Ruby was great at taking care of the finding my insurance as I didn't know how to do it she was wonderful

Negative experience: If I can give zero stars, I would, I’ve had nothing but bad experiences of what feels like the dentist, not knowing what they are doing from giving me misinformation several times to then doing a filling leading to me having severe pain and headache being told from one dentist that it’s an air pocket left in the filling and being told from another that now, I need another root canal to them not being able to authorize my medication for medicaid to approve I understand things happen, but this has been the worst experience with the dentist and I have pain that I now have to deal with until I find a new dentist. Majority of the pain I now have was not present until after they worked on my teeth. Update went to another dentist and they fixed the pain I had talked me through everything with explanations and also stated how my insurance will cover everything as it should have all they have to do is send a letter for approval and walla no need to pay over $1000 for the care I needed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Parker is amazing. My child had a bad experience at another dentist. She is so GOOD! My child needed two teeth removed that were infected with the nerve exposed. She pulled the teeth, gave us a prescription and had us put the door in 45 minutes. My child said she was way better and he will go see her again. All of my family will now be seeing Dr. Parker

Brenda was so awesome and helped me through the whole process and let me gab her ear off about my dogs and cat. i traveled from cheyenne to la salle to see these doctors and nurses. i would recommend them to you for sure!

Fantastic experience: Our 3 year old daughter tripped on a curb and knocked her front tooth loose at 6:00 pm on a Wednesday evening. We frantically called her pediatric dentist who told us to come in the next day. We weren't willing to wait so we searched Google for a dentist who was still open. My husband found Open and Affordable Dental a La Salle, and gave them a call. Long story short, they took care of our sweet girl's tooth. She was even SMILING during the visit! They had us follow up with visits at 1 week and 3 weeks, and she was cleared today with a fully healed tooth. We saw both Dr. Rusden and Dr. Whitman, and they were both wonderful. We do not have dental insurance and paid under $40 for all three visits (including x-rays!!!). We are so incredibly grateful for their care and we will absolutely be returning customers. :)

Fantastic experience: Changed to these guys, best dental decision I ever made. The RX toothpaste Dr. Brown prescribed to me cured my teeth sensitivity and I couldn't be more pleased with the pricing even without insurance!
