Fantastic experience: The best dentist around. I'm getting to that age where taking care of your teeth is more important than ever. I've gotten everything here done from routine cleanings to major work that required multiple visits. Doctor Gerov is extremely sure handed, knowledgable, and has your best interests in mind. There are no pushy sales-y things going on at this practice. All of it just has your health in mind. The assistants she has on her staff are also all very pleasant to be around. Thanks for all the hard work!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! The woman that are at the front desk are great. The doctors are great and try their best to help as much as they can. I would recommend a family member, friend spouse etc. Come in if you haven’t already.Also they take most insurances ! Definitely a plus!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gerov demonstrates so much professionalism and knowledge. She explains every detail of each procedure with patience and honesty. I have no fear or doubt of being taken for advantage like cooperate dental chains. Once, she went out of her way to make sure we got all the paperwork needed (calling my kidneys specialist herself, when I couldn’t reach him) so we can proceed with an urgent procedure. The integrity of her practice (and her team members) is unmatched. The patients care and comfort is always priority here. I don’t mind traveling far (an hour each way) when I am treated with such care. I heard her other patients also making that commute to see her (Bronx). Also, if you want to avoid the debit/credit card fees, you can write a check.

I am sad that I have to leave her extremely capable care but I am changing all my providers to those within walking distance from my home. Dr Gerov has state of the art techniques and technology. . Unfortunately, i moved to LI and the commute is rather far for me now, but sometimes i consider just to go back there. finding a good dentist in LI is challenging. Fantastic experience: She’s been my main dentist for over 3 years and has been flawless. Recently moved to Florida and had a questionable visit with a local dentist down there so I came back to Gerov for a second opinion. Long story short she scanned every nook and cranny and fixed the most little of flaws that went unnoticed by my other dentists. That’s why she’s staying as my permanent dentist.

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to visit. She is an intelligent, skilled, compassionate, caring, and has great chair-side manner, I highly recommend Dr Diana Gerov. She explains everything prior to any procedures, even the cost if that’s a concern. There’s total transparency regarding what you need done, why you need to have it done, how it will be done and if you have alternate solutions. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The office is spotless with up-to-date equipment and the front desk person is pleasant to deal with. Large parking lot if that’s an issue for you. My personal experience is that I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. Go and find out for yourself if you’re still not convinced.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Gerov for a little over a year and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made . My overall dental health has improved with her guidance . She makes sure things are done well and done well the first time. She cares about her patients and it shows . Her staff is also really great, they always make sure that it’s a good visit .

Fantastic experience: Today I completed my implant procedure with Dr. Diana Gerov. She is both warm and friendly and she takes steps to make her patients feel comfortable. Every appointment I've had, she and her staff, greets you with a smile. And for every step of my procedure she walked me through what she will do, what I may feel and patiently answers all questions before she moves forward. Also throughout my procedure she asked me several times if I am doing OK and if I would like for her to stop for a moment. I have switched dentists a few times in hopes of finding one that is both knowledgeable in their profession and great with patients and I have found these qualities in Dr Gerov.

Negative experience: If you care about your money, DONT GO TO there, I have been there for almost 3 years, and every time even after regular cleaning, I usually receive a phone call for a balance of X amount of dollars, and I was paying without asking why. When It was time to renew my insurance I knew that there were no charges for the annual cleaning, when it came to the cleaning time, I went there and as usual, they asked me for a balance, I paid for it, then I realized why, then she said for fluoride which I didn't have?!?!? I asked for a refund, she said you would get it next time ! Now the UNPROFESSIONAL receipatinest asked me for a service which was already paid for by the insurance and I contacted the insurance who said they already paid for that service and she insisted on getting again the money or she would send the case to a collection agency!!!!! After 3 years they overcharged me and now for less than $200, they want to send me to a collection agency ☺️☺️☺️ I don't trust this place and whoever I told him about this dentist I am sorry and please be careful!!!

Negative experience: The worst experience ever for my husband If you are caring about your money , don’t go there . They’re trying to collect money from you and your insurance as well for the same service . They already took the money from the insurance and they asking him again to pay for them for the same service , otherwise they threat him to send it to collection agency for 180 $ !!!!!! The clinic was trying to collect more than the services fees and when my husband asked for the breakdown of the payment , she was asking for 80 $ extra and then she told him sorry she was wrong !!!!!!! Very unprofessional So , if you decided to go which i don’t recommend but review carefully your payment & breakdowns

Negative experience: Today was my first appointment, she was short staffed (no receptionist). She was my receptionist, with amazing humility, which I don't think many would do if necessary. She was patient, gentle, transparent with treatment and options, didn't try to sell me anything I do not need. If you are looking for a new dentist you would be fortunate to have her. Great person/great dentist. After mentioning all above, it is still true great dentist/person. This is related to my dissatisfaction with the office itself. I received a call today saying I owe 75 dollars, when I inquire why they said it’s related to X-rays taken. I asked the person on the phone how would I know when I’m going to be charged ahead and she said I should be aware of my coverage. I can’t go back knowing I may potentially be charged for work after it’s done.

Fantastic experience: At age 59, my teeth require straightening. Dr. Gerov was superb and candid in explaining the details ranging from the procedures, expectations, and timeframes. 8 weeks into using Invisalgn, I experienced tooth pain requiring that a root canal be performed. Endodontist Dr. Farook was called in to perform the oral surgery. I asked him, ‘when did you decide to do this on Saturday afternoons throughout your life?’ His response was that when he was a child and suffering with a severe toothache, a dentist relieved his pain by performing a root canal. His relief and his feelings towardnhis dentist of being to help others in need was an inspiration to his life’s work. Dr. Farook’s interactions with me were outstanding, especially considering that I was frequently vascilating between jokes and our business at hand. Dr. Farook, Dr. Gerov and I had a presurgical meeting to review & confirm why the procedure was important versus an extraction. We also discussed what the objective was and what to expect during the process and afterward. Dr. Farook’s expertise is clearly a byproduct of his passion, built upon personal experiences and a lifelong committment to pay it forward by helping others in pain. I am very comfortable with the advice and direction I’ve received from Dr. Gerov and her team over several preocedures. The associated costs were all anyone can ask for - both fair and reasonable. Thank you, Dr. Gerov, for everything, again!

Negative experience: Update 2 (March 2023) - lost a damned tooth because of this dentist and her horrible fillings that I DID NOT NEED! Do not go to this practice!!!! She is a complete scammer! Over 5k and a fake tooth now and still have pain in these teeth years later. I wish I never set foot in this crook’s office! Update: Jan 2021 - finally found a good dentist. Had to visit due to a loose tooth caused by Gerov’s malpractice. New dentist also confirmed that fillings didn’t need to be done. They were micro cavities! Plus she told me that Diana took off too much tooth & gave me giant fillings for tiny cavities. I take back what I said about her having good intentions. Add to the fact that she clearly is paying for fake 5 star reviews. Be warned!!!! I had a poor experience here. I think Dr. Gerov has good intentions but she missed the mark for me. 1). She does the cleanings herself and I felt they were insufficient. 2) After my first visit with her she told me I had 5 cavities. I get xrays twice a year and hadn’t missed one in 10 years with my previous dentist and all of a sudden I have 5 cavities? (Prior dentist said I had 1 small one that she was watching). It was my fault for not getting a second opinion so I had the cavities filled which leads me to problem number 3) the fillings caused horrible pain and shifted my teeth due to carelessnesses by Dr, Gerov in filling the cavities too high on one side and not high enough on the other. As my bite adjusted i experienced 2 months of hellish pain and spent $$$ on adjustments and consultations with another dentist and prosthodontist. I have had cavities filled before but never ever experienced pain like this. I would definitely not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr.Gerov for over a year now and she did my implants and tooth extractions. I would never think that I would be able to undergo something like this until I met Dr.Diana who basically held my hand throughout the entire procedure. She was very thorough in explaining to me what needs to be done and how. She was also gentle when numbing gums and she would tell me her every step as she worked. Dr.Diana made me feel very comfortable and I cannot imagine going to any other dentist ever again!!!!! Thank you Dr. Diana!

Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gerov through Zoc Doc. I was called, by the office, to say that that platform overbooks and Leah (I apologize if I spelled it incorrectly) medical receptionist, tried her best to accommodate. She was very nice. Ultimately, they refused to honor my scheduled appointment even though it was not my fault. Update: Dr. Gerov called me personally. The way she spoke to me was not polite, lacking compassion, unethical and insensitive. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Went to Happy Smiles New Hyde Park, NY with Dr. Diana Gerov- who came across as pleasant and credible- but I will never go to her again. She recommended multiple additional procedures and a mouth guard but I got a second opinion that verified I did not actually need any of the things Dr. Gerov had not only insisted for me, but expressed that without, I was in danger of losing my teeth. I will no longer go to this practice.

Negative experience: Office is nice and clean. Dr Diana Gerov is nice and very friendly person. HOWEVER I've been constantly overcharged in this office. First time they tried to charge me more, my insurance confirmed that. I thought it was just a mistake. But when it happened 2nd time, I can see a pattern now. For a regular annual checkup and cleaning I've been charged $160 out of pocket on top of my insurance. I have 2 fully covered checkups per year. I never had this issues with any other dentist for annual checkups.

Diana Gerov care for our precious teeth as We not only completely trust her, she’s an excellent dentist she is packed with expertise, knowledge, & the equipment is always sanitized so we are in very good hands! Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with Dr Gerov and I was very pleased with everything from reception, the dental assistant, my exam and cleaning. My Dentist retired and I’ve been putting off looking for a new Dentist. I was reading reviews and pick Dr Gerov because she was highly rated and I also recommend her highly.
