Fantastic experience: Island Pediatric Dentist office is an amazing place. My 3 kids are always so excited to come here every 6 months. Arcade games, books, kids movies, toys, and best of all the kids look forward to receiving a token after their cleaning to get a prize at the end. During the cleaning they also play the childs favorite TV show. The staff at the front desk and the dentists are so professional and kind. Hands down one of the best office experiences I have ever experienced every time I come here! Exceptional customer service and kind hearts! 10/10 rating

Fantastic experience: I had to be the dutiful uncle and bring my nephew to the dentist. Needless to say, my nephew was terrified, and I was terrified of my nephew being terrified. However, Dr. Kevin and his team are like literal tooth fairies, kind and patient with my nephew. The entire office is very kid friendly and I honestly was a little jealous haha. Highly recommend to all parents for their kids!

Fantastic experience: My daughter initially saw Dr. Seo here with little issue, but when we learned that her next visit would be with Dr. Kevin, I was nervous because my daughter is very fearful of strangers, especially men. During our first visit with Dr. Kevin, my daughter was extremely upset (through no fault of his own), but Dr. Kevin remained incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring throughout her meltdown. I was honestly worried about returning for a second visit, but to my surprise, my daughter was all smiles when she saw Dr. Kevin again. That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and safe he made her feel. The office is also kid friendly - they have capsule vending machines where kids can get a prize after their visit, activities in the waiting room to keep them occupied, and TVs on the ceiling in the exam rooms. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this office to other parents.

Fantastic experience: The team at Island Pediatric Dentistry is amazing. We were highly recommended by another family friend and have been happy with my children's care ever since! Dr. Sara and Dr. Kevin are great with the kids and make them feel so comfortable in their child friendly office. From the moment you step into the office, you are warmly greeted with a friendly smile. Waiting room is an arcade playroom that the kids quickly forget why they are there as they are having so much fun. Our dentist visits are always calm and the only one with tears in their eyes is me, (their mama) as talks of baby teeth to adult teeth ensue. The kids always leave with a freshly polished smile on their face as they leave with a surprise toy in hand. I absolutely trust them and would highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: The dentists here are incredibly pretentious and condescending. To Dr. Seo and Dr.Benjumea - not sure where your sense of entitlement stems from. If it's somehow inexplicably from your educational background, many of the families you serve have a similar backgrounds in different fields (including this family that you formerly served). We asked the dentists here a basic question and were basically laughed at about our concern - almost quite literally. We then asked for a second opinion from a dental *surgeon* who validated what we previously asked this practice. This is just one example that broke the camels back for us. Gladly moving on. ---Edit for office manager comment--- We were part of your practice alright and I think you're fully aware of who this is. If this is the office manager, ***you are also part of the issue*** and my review isn't the only one calling this out. All that's required is a quick sort of the comments and you'll see some that align with this.

Fantastic experience: Updating after 7 years: The office is still just as wonderful. Doctor Kevin has been a great addition to the staff. Helen and Ashley are just as great as ever. They are very thorough, organized, great communication and such a fun waiting area for the kids. My 9, 6 and 2 year old could spend hours there if I let them. Can't say enough good things about the dentist, her staff and office

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great with the littles. My son had two cavities at 2.5 yo, and Dr. Sara had recommended silver caps to address the problem. She did not recommend going the anesthesia route to put a 2.5 year old under to do fillings, while some other practices did. He is now 6 yo, with no more problems in between. Both of my kids see now Dr. Kevin at this practice, and he is responsive to all dental related questions even during off hours (you never know with a clumsy toddler!). Dr. Kevin knows how to talk to the little ones in such a way that builds and gains trust. Very professional!

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr. Kevin for my 10 y.o. daughter’s fillings and tooth extraction today. It’s my daughter’s 1st dental procedure and she was very anxious. Dr. Kevin acknowledged and understood my child’s anxiety level and was very gentle and patient with her. He put my daughter at ease by keeping her informed and engaged throughout the whole procedure. He described and explained every step of the procedure using age-appropriate, simple, and non-scary words. My daughter liked it when Dr. Kevin gave her a small mirror so she can see what’s going on during the procedure. On our way home, my daughter expressed to me how Dr. Kevin inspired her and that she wants to become a pediatric dentist someday. Knowing my daughter and to hear that from her is a great deal. We are so grateful and we greatly appreciate the excellent, and above & beyond care we received from Dr. Kevin, his assistant Eva, and Helen at the front desk. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I brought my son to Island Pediatric Dentistry since he was 2 years old. We met both Dr. Sara and Dr. Kevin and they are so gentle and wonderful! I love the waiting room where my son can wait without being nervous with many toys and games. He gets to watch his favorite show while the drs exam his teeth! We live a little bit far away but we choose to come here twice every year to get his teeth in check. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Seo’s office is clean and fun, with iPads, toys and video consoles in the waiting room while the kids wait. Both Dr. Seo and Dr. Kevin are patient with the kids and are gentle with procedures. I highly recommend this practice. The only downside is they are often booked up weeks in advance so last minute appointments are less flexible. But this is just a a testament to their amazing practice.

Fantastic experience: Our childrens' experience at the dentist is so much different from our own growing up. The kids always look forward to coming to this office and brushing the monkey's teeth while they get their teeth cleaned. Island Pediatric Dentistry has a welcoming, child-friendly, clean office. The receptionists, Dr. Kevin, and the dental assistants are very professional and know how to speak with children in a way that makes them comfortable and our questions are always answered. We are thankful that the appointments are easy to schedule, parking is plentiful and that the whole visit to the dentist is a happy, non-traumatizing experience for them.

Everyone we encountered here was super friendly, the office is super new and clean and FUN for the kiddo, and Dr Kevin is probably the nicest dentist on planet earth, I’m not even exaggerating. Fantastic experience: BEST pediatric dental practice!! I’ve been bringing my boys here for about a year now but between the two of them and all the necessary work they needed, we’ve been to the office over half a dozen times. I found this place on my own from our insurance provider’s website but I truly found a gem! Dr. Sara and her staff are all amazing, sweet and friendly! The office is always clean and so much fun! Lots of toys, books, arcades, T.V., even iPads for kids to entertain themselves in the waiting area, but we’ve never had to wait long! Almost a disappointment for the kids, but they also know at the end of their visit, they get a special coin for a prize! Their office is always on point with their schedules and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, if even. Dr. Sara is knowledgeable, proficient, professional and just amazing with the kids! Every pediatric dentist should strive to be just like her! I wish they could my own dental provider! Definitely highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Fun waiting room for the kids, it was my 2.5 year old daughters first visit to the dentist and Dr. Sara was absolutely amazing with her. My daughter felt so comfortable and wasn’t scared or nervous at all, Dr. Sara was really good with her , treated her just like how I would, we felt very comfortable and all my anxiety went away. My daughter also left her toy behind and the receptionist called me immediately to notify me about it so that we can come back to get it. Staff is amazing here! I highly recommend this practice

He loves the game stocked waiting area, friendly front desk staff and a dentist that relays information and advise in an instructional manner to both parent and child.
