Fantastic experience: Just like most people in the world, I kinda skipped going to the dentist for years of my life, but I can confirm that this is the best Dentist out there. Her staff is top-notch and they get the job done as much as I hate getting my teeth cleaned and worked on they do it with extreme care and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Dr Ryan who fitted me with a new sleep device. I am getting many hours of great sleep that I was not getting with a CPAP machine. The new device is comfortable and so easy to use. Bonus was it was covered by insurance! Dr Ryan and her staff are the best!

Negative experience: It’s shocking to me how many positive reviews this woman has. Maybe they’re just from people who don’t have many dental issues. If you do have bad/weak teeth, I would absolutely advise staying away. Unfortunately I’m still dealing with the ramifications of going to Dr. Ryan years ago. One of the worst things she did was when she thought she could handle a large cavity herself, but after already drilling down to the nerve, she decided it was too close to the nerve for her to take care of. Of course I’m glad she stopped, but I wish she had just accepted the fact that it was to close to the nerve from the beginning (by seeing the x-ray). I was then sent out with an open tooth and exposed nerve, no pain medication, just a referral to an endodontist to get a root canal. To this day, that is the worst pain I’ve experienced, comparable only to passing kidney stones. Not to mention the fact that they make their crowns in house rather than sending to a third party lab. This results in cheaper crowns that don’t last. Insurance usually only covers replacement crowns if it’s been over 5 years, and several of mine from Dr. Ryan have lasted far less than 5 years. I would’ve rather paid more for a quality crown upfront, rather than having to get a new one less than 5 years later and paying out of pocket. I thought the way she treated patients was just a normal dentist thing, but after finally going to a new Dr, I can confidently say I’m not sure why she can be so hostile, but she is (depending on the day). I understand my teeth are of course my responsibility, but when a patient tells you they’re doing everything right, and you refuse to listen or dig deeper as to why these tooth issues keep happening, you’re not doing your job. I only recommend going here if you want your crowns to fall out only 2 years after receiving them, be blamed/made to feel ashamed of yourself, and if you want to play roulette with which mood you’ll get from her each visit. It’s no wonder she can’t keep a consistent staff. Since I had so many issues, I was there far more than twice a year, and I don’t think I ever saw the same dental assistant twice. If she treats her patients so poorly, I can’t even imagine how she treats her staff. Once again, I recommend Dr. Ryan if you enjoy gambling with your dental health & being shamed even as a child.

Negative experience: My wife was billed during her appointment for my appointment that I paid for the previous visit. Also expect to be dropped as a patient (via text message) for attempting to reschedule. Very unprofessional *Update* several months later they reply and delete being petty, unprofessional and inaccurate for saying they have no record of my wife and they don’t know who I am. Further more proves my point why no one should visit you

Positive experience: The hygienist Rebecca was friendly & thorough. The Doctor literally introduced herself behind me as I was in the chair which I found rude since it was my first time there. Pulled my tongue with gauze after looking at my teeth for 10 seconds and left. Said nothing about my teeth, gums or X-rays. Not impressed.

Positive experience: Dr. Ryan’s office is a welcoming office. Rebecca, the hygienist is very social and informative. Dr. Ryan comes in to check teeth after Rebecca is finished. Today, she must have run into issues with another client, I waited in chair for a good 1/2 hour after Rebecca finished my cleaning. Usually, it is much quicker, but issues happen.

Negative experience: This visit I was disappointed that when the hygienist finished cleaning my teeth she said that the dentist didn’t need to see me today. This has never happened to me before at this office. I hope I am not charged for the dentist that didn’t even come in the room!

Negative experience: This dentist treated my daughter terribly when she went there for a cleaning and exam ! I would not recommend her to anyone ! My daughter is a college student and came home crying after her appointment because this dentist was so awful to her said derogatory condescending comments. My daughter’s aunt is an orthodontist in Youngstown & My cousin is a hygienist in Columbus and we consulted with both of them their opinion there was no reason for any dentist to treat my daughter the way that she was treated! Not sure what her problem is as when I seen her she seemed to be ok not super welcoming but I’m an adult and can definitely handle my own.. Bottom line is my daughter had some cavities and needs to floss better but that is no excuse for non-professional belittling behavior. So my daughter refused to go back to the dentist of course because of the horrendous treatment she received and did not get her cavities treated, however. Mom made her an appointment with a different dentist and she had a completely wonderful experience with friendly staff that were willing to treat her well professionally and they collected the $2000 from a double insured patient. So this dentist basically cost her business to lose two grand for her mistreatment on my daughter, but that’s not even the point. What’s important is karma is real and I hope that someday when she has a problem, someone gives her the kindness that she gave my daughter which was none & she remembers her maltreatment my daughter !
