Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, not long weight times, dentist is pretty awesome, tells you straight up , and will sit down and go through everything with you step by step THROUGHLY. The day i came in for my extractions ( whole top and partial bottoms) he really made me so comfortable ( as well as assistants ) and did an amazing job, I didn't feel a thing when he pulled my teeth out and I'm even surprised I'm writing this because I have a huge fear of the dentist . But here I am giving a 5 star rating due to the excellent treatment I received at Hudec. I highly recommend this place, especially if your like me and are nervous, because im here to tell you , you don't have to be . Hudec got your back!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Hudec Dental in Lorain! I’ve been coming to this office for years ever since I was a little kid and they’ve always taken such great care of me. Dr. Bazin (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly!) is absolutely amazing. After feeling like I wasn’t getting the best guidance at a different location, he truly took the time to explain everything and recommended the best care for me. I finally felt heard and genuinely cared for instead of just being another patient. I ended up needing a root canal and was there for about two hours for the whole visit, but they made me feel so comfortable the entire time. I was honestly terrified, but Dr. Bazin was patient, gentle, and reassuring throughout the procedure. I even had to bring my toddler with me to my appointment, and the entire staff was so patient and kind with him. They made him feel comfortable and welcomed so I could focus on getting my work done without stressing. That meant more to me than they probably realize! And a very special shout out to Dr. Bazin’s assistant I truly wish I caught her name because she was such a beautiful human being. She held my hand while I was scared and kept reassuring me that I was going to be okay (lol). That kind of compassion is rare, and I’m so grateful for her. If you’re looking for a dental office that truly cares, this is it. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I TRUSTED these LIARS with my dental care and all they kept telling me was that they had to either fill a tooth or extract a tooth,i DON'T believe there was anything wrong with any of my front teeth but they said i needed all fillings or extractions! They have NEVER showed me any x-rays to prove me wrong? I finally just went to a different dentist that tryed to get me partials for my rear right side and my insurance denied them because HUDEC messed up all my front teeth! They said I would need to get ALL my teeth extracted and get FULL dentures!!! Thinking about speaking to my attorney. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Office Manager Lisa (30+ years with Hudec), and Hygienist, Jennifer (9 years with Hudec) provide excellent customer service. I’ve been going to this Hudec dental team since 2009.

Negative experience: They insisted they take my old silver fillings out tho they were fine, After 2 years of going every other week to drill out and replacing their junk bondo and pulling teeth they destroyed I went to Bright Now in North Olmsted and they were worse! Read some 1 star reviews. I know at least 30 people that live by this Hudak and have all had a life of pain and losing teeth bc of them.

Positive experience: I would like to say this Particular dental office is very diverse. I’ve been coming here for the last two years I want to say since I moved to Ohio from New York. I love love the beautiful brown skin African-American hygienist her and my son have the same birthday or a couple of days apart. She’s a libra. I’m not good with names. She has amazing customer service very welcoming. Also The other two African-American guys, they are funny and also very welcoming and helpful. The entire staff is very friendly. I only have one concern The dentist seems as though he is the only dentist there and he’s overbooking. I arrived at 9:15 for my 9:30 appointment I was not seen up until about 10:15 And the dentist was bouncing back-and-forth from my appointment Room to the other Patient next-door. He is an amazing dentist don’t get me wrong however I really think he needs to schedule better and gives his divided attention to one customer patient client whatever you wanna call it at a time. We’re paying big money to get our teeth fixed clean or whatever you’re getting done, you should have His undivided attention. He is an amazing dentist explain things to you, caring and respectful But as for me going to the dentist already gives me anxiety and for my dentist to be bouncing from room to room to Another high end, my anxiety and my comfort level ..20 minutes on me , then bounces to the other room 20 minutes to 30 minutes . 30 minutes over there and then comes back to me then goes back to whomever else. that’s too much. Which makes your dentist visit wayyyyyy longer than it needs to be. Other than that I have no complaints.

Negative experience: Went for a cleaning... Told me I had to have an exam... After exam doctor told me I just needed cleaning... Then told me another doctor thought I needed the deep cleaning...442 dollars for a cleaning? First actor told me twelve dollars... Told them I did not want it and they continued to tell me that's what I was having... When I told them I just wanted the $12 cleaning.They told me.I didn't need the deep deep clean.Just the deep clean for eighty five dollars... When I asked what my insurance paid for they said eighty percent.... If $442 were coming out of my pocket.A deep deep cleaning is over two thousand dollars? Even at eighty five dollars , the not so deep cleaning is still over four hundred dollars?

Negative experience: Staff were very nice and attentive, but I was told that I needed a deep clean at an astronomical cost(which I can’t afford) so maybe I’ll seek a second opinion elsewhere?

Fantastic experience: These are my people!! I've been going here for yearsss now and I love my hygienist Jennifer soo much, she really does the best job ever and I couldn't be more grateful to her for keeping my teeth right!

Negative experience: I was sitting there hours I called the day before for a orthodontist and they said it was the place I sat the for like 2 hours all for him to basically look at my spaces between my teeth and was digging in my gums with something pointy

Negative experience: I don't like doing this but I don't like the abuse against the people. yesterday I had an appointment for clean up. They gave X-ray me and check my mouth then proceeded to tell me that I need a deep clean. they sent me home with a bill over $1,400 if I want the deep clean done, but they never did my regular clean up I ask them about it and the lady got an attitude with me so I left.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist, I never have pain even after the anesthesia wears off. Just had a tooth fixe 8-18-25 and it's 8-19-25 no pain and the repair is fanominal.

Negative experience: Horrible first time experience all they did is x-ray measure my teeth and gums and won't allow me to get no cleaning unless I pay almost $500 and she wanted to keep seeing me every 3 months for this special cleaning!! The doctor comes in doesn't even introduce himself has me open up my mouth looks at it for a second and tells me good job no cavities did not explain this so-called cleaning plan she made up for me..Remind you I see that then is twice a year since the little girl.. This is the first time I have to go to this place Because where I currently started working this With their insurance is through Horrible experience I left without no cleaning ¿ That's called milking my insurance!! I called my insurance company waiting for him to call me back so I can go elsewhere!!

Positive experience: The three stars are for the doctor and the assistants. However, I’ve been at this location twice and for some reason the doctor recommends a cleaning, but the lady whom does the cleanings is never available is there anyone in that actual position? This is the second time this has happened. Who would have known I’d be a 36 year old Karen. The reason I’m writing the review is because I’m always offended same day service for other things that’ll take ample time to complete but never the cleanings.

There is just nothing kind about him. Someone should instruct him on common courtesy. And all the complaints I've read about the older lady who works at the front desk is true. She seems to be just a sad, angry person

Fantastic experience: My son was having a lot of trouble and pain with his teeth. I had an appointment Monday and I asked Dr. Bazin to see him and he agreed to see him first thing the next morning. Most dentists wouldn’t bother if you weren’t a patient. I am so pleased with this dentist, his expertise and compassion. I would recommend this office to everyone Thank you Dr. Bazin.

Positive experience: I had been a patient of hudec dental for a long time. They made me not fear the dentist. I had a root canal, extractions the works! All pain free and no after pain. Dr.Glawski was great, as was the hygienist. The best dental office I'd been to. I really wish I'd completed the treatment plan, but after the pandemic, I was so paranoid about everything! But I thank you all for the great service and care you provided... I think you all went above any other. Don't know why they didn't pay any attention to my review I guess mine's was just overlooked for some odd reason! Maybe because it wasn't a complaint..

Negative experience: Love Jen who cleans my teeth. But my last appointment waited an hour to get started on services with a 3 month old, and the tech or assistant guy had an attitude with me when I asked how much long because my baby was getting fussy. Then my appointment before that, the receptionist girl lost my letter from my doctor stating I can be seen since I was pregnant. She said they couldn’t do services until we got the letter again with an attitude, which was after my doctors office hours. Jen still took me because she knew it was already sent over but just very unorganized and unprofessional (never from Jen). Needless to say, I won’t be back due to the attitudes for their mishaps.

Negative experience: The service at Hudec was undesirable.. they came off more like scammers & money chasers than a reputable dental establishment.. there was a young man on his phone in the room that they assigned me to, I assumed he was one of the dental assistants.. come to find out he was just hiding out in the room on his phone... The young lady who I thought to be a dental assistant couldn't pronounce any of the technical terms on the poster she was reading from and laughed about it.. in fact Hudec was more interested in the type of insurance than actually seeing what was my purpose for the visit.. I read comments before I picked Hudec and some posts said they were unprofessional /scammers ... I would strongly urge patients to go anywhere else but the Hudec on 12409 Lorain Rd Cleveland Ohio 44111

Negative experience: Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The very first appointment was at 2:30. They did not take me back until 3 PM, performed Xrays, which were needed certainly. The Dentist then evaluated me and told me I would only need a cleaning. I was informed that I could either wait 45-50 minutes for the cleaning, or come back another day. I elected to come back another day as I had already been at the office for almost 2 hours. At the front desk, I informed the receptionist that a cleaning was needed and she offered me the next day at 4PM, which I gladly took. When I arrived to the appointment the next day, the staff took me right away which was appreciated. They then informed me that the appointment would not be for a cleaning, but instead an evaluation to see what kind of cleaning I would need (deep or regular), and then a potential third appointment for a cleaning. This process is abysmal and provides poor patient care. The staff attempted to explain that this was their usual process, and I totally understand that. However, it was not explained initially that potentially 3 appointments might be necessary so that I could plan ahead. People have jobs (sometimes multiple), families, and lives. If the workflow of this office is a separate appointment for every service rendered, that is certainly their prerogative. But that must be explained to patients up front, especially how much each of these separate appointments may cost in time and money.

Fantastic experience: My dentist Jennifer has the best personality and her customer service is excellent. She is very knowledgeable about dentistry. She recommended my treatment that was very well needed to prevent me from developing more bone loss. I was a patient at a different dentist; "Hyland Dental" for over 7 years and they NEVER mentioned the treatment that I needed. I want to say thank you Jennifer for explaining the procedures that was needed to keep my teeth healthy, and mentioning the special floss I needed to clean under the bridge that was done by Hyland Dental. Good job Jen.

Fantastic experience: I love Hudec Dental!!! I have been going to the location on Loraine avenue for more than 30 years. I moved over 10 years ago and still go to the same location even though their is a location 5 minutes from my house. The office manager has been there since I starting going and is always so friendly. Jennifer my hygienist is great. Her assistant Delicia Is a bubblie young lady that brightens your day and does her job very well. My original dentist has changed after about 28 years but Dr Bazin is equally are good, and is very friendly. Keep up the good work!

Negative experience: My wife and kids just left here, they refused to give her a simple cleaning because they said they wanted to deep clean 2 teeth for 300$ extra or they wouldent do any of it, (mind you she just had her teeth deep, cleaned six months prior different dentist office. This place is a scam.)

Positive experience: These guys provide fast efficient professional services and are highly recommended. They gave me a line item bill despite having dental insurance so I wasn't too thrilled about that. Previously gave them a one star by mistake. So I wanted to correct that.

Negative experience: Sorry to leave a bad review but I have to share my experience from today. I felt Dr. Bazin was not receptive to my suggestion to skip the filling on the same side he pulled a molar a week ago. I still had swelling and pain, so when he put the needle in to administer novocaine it was the worst pain I have ever felt!! Grown man kicking and screaming type pain. And I’m covered in tattoos so no needle fears with this guy, but like he seemed rushed this morning and he literally shoved the needle to the nerve in one single motion causing immense pain!! 2x! One shot on each side. I told him I did not want the other side done if he was not going to be more gentle. I will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Hudec Dental Office, located at 12409 West 125th Street on Lorain Ave were very kind and courteous to me upon my arrival. While waiting for my appointment the receptionists and Dental Assistants took appropriate X-rays and were very considerate while attending to my needs. My visit with Doctor Bazin was to have a tooth extraction that went very well since he is an Exceptional Dental professional in this field. He goes over each detail with you, ask if you have any questions then delivers a bed-side manner to keep you calm while administering these delicate procedures. Dr. Bazin is the "consummate professional." He gets a triple "AAA" rating from me every time. "Thank You" Dr. Bazin, and the entire Hudec Dental facility's staff for a warm welcome during my visit.
