Fantastic experience: Staff is very friendly from the checking process, the actual dental work and checking out they are a delight. They always ask questions about who we are and plans, etc make you feel very comfortable. My 7 year old was a complete chatterbox and they listened as if what she was saying was the most important thing ever ( it wasn't lol) My older kids who could have chosen a different place when they became "independent" continue to go there as well.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for a long time, but recently have been getting disappointed with the service. I have requested specific dental hygienists and dentists I trust and even change my work schedule to get appointments with them, only to get assigned to other people. I am not happy about that.

Fantastic experience: Nida is the absolute best with dental work. She did thorough cleaning and I had deep pockets. I asked her what if anything could help get my gums healthier. She applied a topical anti biotic to help with healing. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Have been a satisfied patient at WDA for about 3 years now, after ot being happy with my previous 2 dentists. They have been great. And when I had an issue with one if my crowned teeth last week, they got me in, took an x-ray, and then Dr Chris checked both my tooth & the x-ray, and advised it wasn't infected, so i could go forward with a scheduled surgery this week. I trust them and they are A+++ ! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Overall I’m very happy with the practice. Dr. C is very nice and asks questions. Nina is a great hygienist. Quick , efficient and nice to talk with. My fluoride treat was a bit of a disappointment though. I’d bet that several teeth were either missed or got next to no fluoride. It’s slapped on in 20 seconds and frankly I’d rather put it on myself.

Negative experience: I initially scheduled an appointment for a deep cleaning, but during my visit, two staff members repeatedly insisted that I receive a dental sealant. While I understand that sealants can help prevent future cavities, I clearly expressed that I did not want the procedure. Despite this, I felt pressured to agree rather than having my decision respected. Patients should be provided with information and recommendations, but their choices should ultimately be honored without feeling pushed into additional treatments. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the visit.

Fantastic experience: I feel well cared for while visiting Westlake Dental. Dr Chris took care of my dental implants from start to finish many years ago and still to this day we drive from Medina up to Westlake to have Westlake Dental take care of our dental needs. Since we retired early which left us without dental insurance we purchased their insurance plan annually and it pays for itself quickly. Can’t say enough nice things about Westlake Dental .

Fantastic experience: I was able to get an appointment for dental pain within a timely fashion. Dr. Bekal and her team got me back immediately and identified the problem. They were able to replace a cracked filling in less than an hour. Everyone was professional and respectful. Very clean office and knowledgeable. Up front about copays before any work started. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: My husband and I had our first dental appointments here after moving to the area, and both were told we required deep cleanings. Our last dentists had never told us anything of the sort. At the same time, we overheard other patients being told the same thing. Does everyone need a deep cleaning at this office? We had the recommended deep cleanings, but they actually didn’t feel any different from regular cleanings. Never went back. For our next appointment, we scheduled with a different dentist that told us we did not need deep cleanings at all. Do not recommend this dental office. It was also very uncomfortable having to sign estimates before they do any work on you. It seems to me that it’s not about the patient, but about the money. I went there based on the good reviews, and I am very surprised they have so many. Beware.

They fixed it quickly and were very thorough, explaining everything clearly and being upfront about the cost and what I owed. I also loved how easy they made everything, letting me pay and schedule my next cleaning right from the chair. The staff was professional, kind, and made me feel truly taken care of. As a new patient, I’m so glad I found this place and will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: Westlake Dental Associates are tops in their field. You are immediately greeted as you enter the facility. A technician leads you to the exam room which is impeccably clean. All the dental instruments are arranged for the doctor to begin the exam and recommend what type of care is needed. At the conclusion instructions are provided regarding future visits and you are given a goodie bag filled with dental care items to care for your teeth.

Fantastic experience: All I could say that this is the best place to go and get your teeth work on. From receptionist to dental assistant are great. Dr Constantinou is so cool and down to earth. He understand and listen to what the patient need and want.

I usually see Dr McClendon who is so sweet and thorough and all of the hygienists are also very thorough and make sure I’m comfortable during my cleanings. They spoke with me about each step and informed me of what sort of maintenance I needed done

Negative experience: Dr. Jessica is always wonderful and this practice was great up until about a year ago. I was told in September it was recommended I schedule a deep cleaning which would have to be approved by insurance (it was partially covered). I chose to wait until my next appointment to see if that was still the recommendation. They had me sign the EOB and automatically added the “deep cleaning”. I signed as I thought it must be needed and the cleaning in Sept was very brief. This recent cleaning lasted just as long, about 12 minutes and this included the “deep cleanings.” I don’t get the “family practice” feel.

Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but great care from Westlake Dental Associates, from the front desk personnel to the dental techs and hygienists to Dr. McClendon. They are all wonderful. Dr. McClendon is the only dentist I've seen there, so I can't comment on the others. During cleanings, the hygienist will always ask if I'm doing okay, if anything hurts. They always want to make sure the patient is comfortable. Dr. McClendon has always taken the time to answer any question I have for her. Everyone is just wonderful!

Fantastic experience: AWESOME! I had to have a crown placed on a back molar and this dental office has the technology to place the permanent crown THE SAME DAY! I played on my phone for an hour and had my permanent tooth, which fits perfectly, and the tooth wasn't even sore the next day! I cannot even tell there is a crown there. I had a crown placed at a different office a few months back and had night terrors thinking about getting a second one, since it was so traumatic the first time. The experiences were night and day. I highly recommend Dr. Bekal. She is everything you want/need in a dentist...kind, gentle, patient, knowledgeable, and funny. I wouldn't trust anyone as much with my teeth as I trust her. I also had my teeth cleaned here a week before the crown, and that was also a very pleasant experience. The office is beautiful, has the latest technology, and everyone there is very kind. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Bekal and Westlake Dental Associates. This place and the people there are first class. Thank you!

Negative experience: 14 minutes late there for my appointment because of the bad weather, and they were asking me to reschedule it after I'd waited 4 months. I called them when I realized I was getting late because of the slow traffic in very bad winter weather and they gave me only 10 minutes I could understand them if they do something for free, but I can’t when I'm paying for their service.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment at 10 am this morning. It was for a quick repair of my partial. I was called back at 10 and was checked out and in my car at 10:10. Everyone was pleasant, professional and timely. Dr.Chris asked about my holiday plans and we talked about the ages of his children. A personal interest in a patient is always a plus.

Negative experience: No stars today 1st appt was great second appointment when I was to have my teeth cleaned the hygienest? Want to do a deep clean. I had informed them I have a limited budget. Why wasn't this told to me at first exam? The hygienist wanted me to wait til next year for an appointment. I need to get in my bridge and cavities fixed this year, and waiting for crown replacements til next year. She had no respect for my priorities. I would like to have a new hygienist, I felt she was just trying to up my bill, and was causing me to not be able to deal with my priorities.i want to apologize to all others they are the best

The dentist that I had been going to for 35 years suddenly past away from Covid and I was horrified.. I have TMJ and he was the only dentist that I’ve trusted to keep my teeth and jaw in-line..I also had a liver transplant and Sjogens disease which causes my teeth to decay inside out.. With all my concerns, I just didn’t know where to even start looking for a dentist who was Patient, compassionate and understanding to all my medical conditions and also cared about my well being…It was also important to me to find a dentist who was also affordable because over the years I spent well over 25,000 out of pocket because of the TMJ. Well, from the first time I called Westlake Dental office it was a wonderful experience.. The front desk girls are outstanding. I had a tooth that had cracked and because of the TMJ and sensitive bite issue I have, I needed to get in to see dr Allison as soon as possible.. She got me in right away and Dr Allison did a beautiful job along with her assistant.. I also got X-rays done and it showed I needed two root canals.. Dr Allison also did those and I didn’t feel not one bit of pain..My bite was perfect!!!
