Fantastic experience: In all honesty, I’m not a fan of dental visits. Finally, that is now changing and I’ve found my forever dentist. Dr. Spath and his team are absolutely unbelievable and take painless dentistry and new technologies to the next level. In the Newport Beach area, we are blessed with many options, but Dr. Spath is absolutely the best of the best and I no longer have visit anxiety. Thanks to the entire Spath team of professionals!

Fantastic experience: This is the best and easiest doctor's office I've ever worked with, dental or otherwise. The administrative staff is so helpful and responsive. All the hygienists are great -- especially Mindi. She remembers more about what's going on in my life than I do and always asks for updates on the whole family. Plus Dr. Spath is a good-humored and efficient dentist who is always kind. Plus he got rid of the mustache, which was the only thing holding this place back from a perfect office.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a dentist who understands the importance of listening to you as a person. Your thoughts or your concerns, you have located a dentist who understands the importance of both. His team has been trained to work with him and as a team together. Dr. Spath loves his job, his team loves theirs. You see it each time you go in for your appointment. However, the real magic comes if you have to have more than an xray or cleaning. I had one back tooth, (in a small mouth no less). That decided to create a real delicate decision. Dr. Spath sent me to an excellent endodontist (in same building, but different office. He was a magical dentist too. Magical, in that after a 50 min. root-canal, with a new method called "Gentlewave ", I had zero pain during and right after the procedure. One week later, Dr Spath worked on same tooth for a tad over an hour. had to make a small cut into gum to access the tooth root to remove a tooth-spur deep down on my root. It needed two stitches. SURPRISE, AND NO LIE. ABSOLUTELY ZERO PAIN.Yes. you are reading this correctly. No pain after oral surgery. At my one-week post op. I asked him how his hand and arm were feeling. I could see every muscle in his arm (within my eye-shot working super hard. ) This is a dentist who knows his craft and knows when to send patients out when they need a separate specialist. His dad taught him the importance of caring for others and his mom too. His dad was a dentist and his mom was a dental hygienist. His parents taught him early on, what you do for others. Will one day come back to you. Treat people well and in return they treat you well. They become long-term patients.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I moved from out of state and could not be any more pleased with choosing Dr. Spath and his staff as our new dentist! The entire team has been so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel very welcome as their new patients. The office is super efficient and Dr. Spath has all of the latest technological equipment. Fantastic experience: I actually found Dr. Spath after becoming unhappy with my former dentist of many years on another review site, & it turned out that one of my good friends went to him & loved him. Anyway, Dr. Spath & his staff are amazing! Even though I've religiously gone to the dentist twice a year, unfortunately I had too many teeth removed in my youth prior to braces, giving me a bite problem. Long story short, Dr. Spath has basically remade my mouth and it's a work of art (if I do say so! ). If you are looking for a dental practice that wants the best long term result for you, this is the place to go. You won't be sorry. I cannot recommend more highly!

This practice is new, clean, and features the latest and greatest dental and imaging technology. Dr. Spath is upfront, honest and never up-charges. What attracted me to this practice was the location, professional staff, follow-up, communication and pricing. I always know what I am paying before I have any work done and they have always been 100% transparent. They make this whole process so easy and they are not as expensive as the other practices I have been to. Super friendly staff as well who are always kind and welcoming. Fantastic experience: From Erycka, the office manager, to Dr. Spath...everyone there was so kind and gentle. I’ve had some terrible terrible experiences with mean dentists...so I hadn’t been to a dentist in many years (I know, gross). A friend who also had bad experiences with dentists said I should go to his dentist, Dr. Spath. I had some major issues going on in my mouth, so I knew I had to make an appointment eventually. I trusted my friend and made the call. From the initial phone call, Erycka made me feel at ease. My appointment was today and I wasn’t disappointed. They were crazy gentle. They were so kind. They explained EVERYTHING!!!! Their pricing was very reasonable. I’m so very hopeful that they will be MY dentist office from here on out. I have a very good feeling about this office. This shows me excellent organization and professionalism. Then we worked closely with my particular situation and found a proper solution based on my needs and my budget. My husband and I both go to him and trust him and his staff with keeping our smiles healthy and looking the best! We also take our three kids to him and they are wonderful with kids as well. Fantastic experience: Spath dentistry has been wonderful for my elderly mom. She has Alzheimer's and didn't always do the best job brushing. They were able to get her insurance to approve an extra cleaning each year so we can avoid major dental work. Everyone in the office is so understanding and patient and cheerful with her. And when she did have to get a replacement crown, they let me sit next to her and hold her hand through it all. I'm so glad we found Dr Spath and his wonderful team!

Fantastic experience: I am always a bit nervous with dental work. My old dentist retired so After much procrastination I set out to find a new dentist. I had heard that dr spath was exceptional from a friend so I decided to try my luck with him. As new patient to dr spath I can report that I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. He has a team that all work together in a friendly an efficient way. They were very careful that I was comfortable and fully numb, and always checked how I was feeling. I had no pain and was very relieved and pleased with my visit. I also felt that what I needed was well discussed with the reasons for the recommended work, It is very evident that this is a top notch dentist. He is old enough to have lots of experience yet young enough to be on top of the latest technologies. Also the office is very nice and new in a beautiful location. There really was nothing I have bad to say it was a very positive experience from start to finish. Whew! I am feeling relieved and happy. I am updating this review which was initially posted about 2 years ago. Dr spath is my regular dentist now and has helped me with some crowns and other issues. I am really lucky to have found such a great dentist.
