I had my teeth cleaned today by Tina and was very impressed with her skill and the added benefit of educating me on specific cleaning techniques to enhance my oral health. The office atmosphere is lovely; beautifully decorated and supplied with the latest state of the art dental equipment. Dr. Ha is truly a find. He is adept at his craft and is also extremely gentle in masterfully serving his patients. I count myself very fortunate and am thankful that when I was looking for a dentist some years ago now, my trusted friend spoke so highly of Dr. Ha that I called, made an appointment and will be forever grateful for my friends recommendation.

Fantastic experience: First of all, this review is long overdue! About five months ago, I had the best experience EVER with Dr. Ha. I was in desperate need of replacing my 25 year-old veneers but was getting outrageous quotes in the Dallas area. After much research, I came across Dr. Ha via social media & he felt like he could help me at a much more reasonable price, which really intrigued me. We messaged back-and-forth for several months discussing In detail what I wanted to change about my smile…color, shape, etc. It was such a pleasure dealing with him, and he was always so reassuring that everything could be done behind the scenes before I even got there AND sure enough he delivered!! He and his amazing staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating ESP knowing I would be flying in from out of state, which was greatly appreciated! He even came in on his day off to accommodate us (my husband was so impressed He got his teeth done too) He has a beautiful modern office in a high-rise with state of the art technology. I was so excited to meet him after messaging for months and he was so professional, fun and just down to earth! To be honest, it felt like I had known him for years! It’s so rare to meet a doctor like this nowadays, but you could tell he just LOVES what he does & it shows! He showed me my digital design makeover on a big TV screen & how my veneers would look. WOW! Just WOW!! I was totally blown away at the new technology VS 25 yrs ago! His level of expertise was top notch as well as his attention to detail. He thoroughly explains what he’s going to do and constantly asks if you’re OK or hurting during the procedure. And let me tell you, he worked tirelessly to get my bite just right since he knew I wouldn’t be able to come back for adjustments AND he totally nailed it! It’s hard to find a dentist that truly cares about his patients & their satisfaction. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! I’m totally in love with my new youthful & brighter smile! AND, I was sooo impressed that I had him redo two crowns that were less than a year old because they were so ugly…looked like big round temporaries! He also took care of a filling & to my surprise he was able to do it by laser!! Wait, WHAT??!! He didn’t even have to numb me up and I didn’t feel a thing. I’ve had a ton of dental work done over the years and this new technology is just mind blowing! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ha to anyone who is looking for an EXCELLENT cosmetic dentist!! AND don’t worry about traveling, if need be, because he is 100% worth it! Also, he has constantly been checking in with us making sure everything is still ok. Who does that anymore?? Thanks again Dr Ha & Staff! I can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic experience: I’m always nervous getting dental work done, but as soon as Dr. Tai gave me my first shoot, I knew it was going to be alright, he was very smooth and gentle, his stitching was well done, no food or anything getting into the wound after my extractions, I will proceed with the implants soon.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walk in the door at Newport Beach Dental Studio, I feel the professionalism of the office. The staff warmly welcomes me. The waiting room is very clean, modern, and tidy with WiFi posted and a TV for entertainment. They always are on time so I am never waiting long. The same goes for the ambience in the dental chair. A TV is there for viewing. My time with the hygienists is always easy and informative. They are efficient and genuinely great at communicating. Dr. Ha then comes in after cleanings to do an evaluation, read X rays, catch up… he is always easy going, professional and efficient. I’ve also had the opportunity to do the teeth whitening program which was affordable and worked great. Loved my results. The hygienist or front desk staff proactively helps schedule your next cleaning and answer any insurance or informational questions. Highly highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist!!

Negative experience: Patient Abandonment – Do NOT Go HERE!!! Avoid The Dental Studio – Dr. Ha Tai. After weeks of visits, veneer planning, and paying a large deposit, Dr. Ha Tai was personally involved — even calling me at night about my veneers. Then, without any explanation, his office completely ghosted me just weeks before Christmas, leaving me stuck with temporary veneers and no continuity of care. This is negligent, unethical, and completely unprofessional. Do not risk your smile or your money. I later found out that the reason his veneers are discounted it's caz he gets them overseas! This behavior will be reported to the boards.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff in this office is pleasant and kind. They worked me in as an emergency today and was still prompt and on time. I was given a quick diagnosis and sent to a specialist who I was equally pleased with. My problem was addressed within a few hours.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Tai Ha by my dental surgeon while looking for a cosmetic dentist who uses the latest technology—and I ended up getting so much more. From the very beginning, his staff made the process smooth and convenient, especially with easy scheduling and communication via text. Dr. Tai Ha placed two crowns on my front teeth. The first set looked good, but he noticed they were slightly too white and not quite as translucent or natural-looking as they should be. He was the one who pointed it out—not me—and took it upon himself to bring in a skilled ceramist to ensure the replacements were absolutely perfect. The final result exceeded my expectations. There’s a reason Dr. Tai Ha has five stars across all review platforms: he cares deeply about the quality of his work and his patients’ satisfaction. Fantastic experience: Dr. Ha fitted me in last minute after I had a bad toothache come up. Diagnosed the issue, referred me to an excellent endo down the street, and got a root canal all before lunch. High end experience from start to finish. He’s caring, genuine, professional and pays attention to detail. He explains the procedure he going to do and constantly makes sure your not feeling any discomfort. Teresa the office manager is always so nice and very helpful. Especially when it comes to insurance. His assistant Vanessa, is always cheerful and has a sweet sense of humor. I'm very grateful to office manager Teresa for being incredibly helpful with the scheduling and logistics of planning my visit. I also need to give special thanks to lead dental assistant Vanessa for taking such great care of me during my treatment and for being nice enough to give me a ride back to the airport for my return home flight. Ashley’s friendly, fun and warm personality was so welcoming It was by far the best and most comfortable cleaning I have ever had (I’m 60 yrs old and have had plenty of experiences to know). Dr.Ha is always so pleasant and informative. The Technology he has is amazing. The office is immaculate and there are several other lovely people I had contact with, sadly I don’t remember all their names ‍♀️. The checkout process with Teresa was seamless. She is so sweet !!! If you are considering a new dentist, look no further… this staff will not disappoint.

Positive experience: I had a dental cleaning yesterday. All was perfect. However, I had hoped that I might have seen Dr. Ha for a brief second to check on my lower gum area. The dental hygienist assured me it was okay (although a tad inflamed, I thought) so I let it drop.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience I had today for my teeth cleaning at Newport Beach Dental Studio. The whole staff (Vanessa, Ashley, and Dr. Ha) did such a thorough and professional job! Starts by me walking in and as soon as I walked in it just felt so clean and warm and inviting and tranquil with the interior design. Very good and relaxed vibes. The waiting area and TVs had funny pet videos playing and I found that to be relaxing as well. The room had a nice view of greenery of Newport Beach. The appointment room has a big TV in front of you with the funny pet/animal videos and I found myself laughing and had to stop laughing before the hygienist out the x-ray stuff in my mouth so the whole ambience makes you feel relaxed and time flies and I looked at my watch and an hour had passed with x-rays with Vanessa (who was very professional, and seemed to take pride in her career), new patient consult with Dr. Ha and then teeth cleaning with Ashley (who was also nice and did a very good/thorough job with the teeth cleaning). Everything felt like only 15 min. There was even a TV in the ceiling so when the chair was reclined I could still watch a relaxing ocean vid lol The consult with Dr. Ha, was perfect. You can tell he has a passion for dentistry, tech, and innovation. I had a ton of questions about different dental products and he listened and gave me some good recommendations on various things and seemed to enjoy talking dental stuff with me instead of being irritated by me asking questions like some other dental places I’ve been. We went through my x-rays and teeth pics on the big tv and said everything was good and didn’t need any treatment. I loved the technology they used in the office. The big TV in front of me showed all my teeth super clear and with AI, Dr. Ha said, that shows all sorts of stuff like health of my enamel, AI measurements on screen of my gun recession, etc. I appreciated everything being in front of me to see whereas other dentists I’ve been to, they kind of hide your teeth x-rays and don’t explain anything. All the equipment and technology made this the modern dentist in Orange County I’ve been looking for. I also like how you can text the office and makes communication easy. I like how all the forms are done online and was able to check-in all through my phone before arriving. It takes a lot for me to review a place but I just felt led to leave a review because if helps a few more people find a dentist who is competent and innovative and can alleviate some of their fears about dentistry, then my review was worth it!

Fantastic experience: WOW! I am beyond thrilled with my injectable veneer experience. I can't recommend Newport Beach Dental Studio enough! Dr. Ha and his staff are so kind and made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. Dr. Ha doesn't rush you at all and truly listens to your needs and your smile goals. After an initial consultation, we decided on injectable veneers for my four front teeth. I didn't want to commit to porcelain veneers since my teeth were healthy but just needed some lengthening and shaping in the front to achieve a fuller smile. This technology is modern, fast, and painless and my natural teeth underneath weren't shaved down or damaged. Didn't even need to be numbed up since it's basically a tooth mold process! I was always worried that cosmetic work would look bulky or unnatural - NOT THE CASE HERE! Everything is seamless and Dr. Ha's attention to detail and craftsmanship is truly impeccable. I walked out after only my second visit with EXACTLY what I wanted. My smile is so natural, youthful, bright - I can't stop smiling! 10/10 would recommend NBDS to everyone. Thank you Dr. Ha!!

Sounds cheesy but I’m really just happy with my new teeth (still my teeth but 100X better). I recently finished my Invisalign treatment with him and I couldn’t be more thrilled about my new smile! He made my stubborn crooked teeth fit without having to do any extractions! I am very confident that I am getting outstanding dental care when I visit Dr. Ha. Not only is Dr. Ha extremely knowledgeable about his field but he is also very kind and approachable. He takes the time to explain every procedure and makes sure I know the importance and the science behind each treatment. After being super scared and even grossed out of the dentist, I have reconsidered my opinion and now know the importance of taking care of my teeth! Fantastic experience: I am so glad I found this dental office. My mom and I went to a different dentist first during the pandemic. We needed cleanings and had work that needed to be done. Unfortunately, I was not only not impressed, but I didn't trust them to do the work well. I didn't want them to work on my mom's teeth at all but we figured any dentist was better than putting it off...this was not a good call. They did a horrible job that had to be corrected and it felt like medical gaslighting. My friend referred me to Newport Beach Dental Studio and was raving about them. After both my mom and I have gotten cleanings and most of the work done that we needed, I can confidently say this is the best dental office I have ever been to. The whole staff is kind and welcoming, they listen and they pay attention. Those long forms we all fill out as new patients, doctor Ha actually read them before our visits and asked about it. He took time to explain things and they really care about your comfort. Most people hate the dentist (I never really minded as long as they do a good job) and this practice really succeeds in making the whole experience as pleasant as possible. When I move out of state, I will still be coming out here for my dental work. Thanks guys so much for caring about your clients!

He is very caring and very gentle, he listens to the patient and give honest advice unlike all other dentists I have been in the past who keep upselling the most expensive services that I don’t really need.
