Fantastic experience: Dr. Madi, DDS talked to me at length about every tooth in my mouth after manually testing and inspecting each tooth and the surrounding gum tissue and bone structure while his assistant took notes and added Dr. Madi's findings to my chart. After learning of Dr. Maudi's findings and taking a few days to think these findings over, I have decided to go forward with his recommendations to prevent any further dental problems. Fantastic experience: Dr Kian Kar is fantastic. He is the best in his field. He performed periodontal surgery on me in 2017 and I have had no perio problems since then. He is so patient, personable and so thorough. I really look forward to my yearly check ups with him. The office staff are all great too, and very nice.

While my surgeon (from a different practice) was the best care I could have asked for the many implants that were necessary, turns out I need very complicated and detailed aftercare in order to maintain those implants. Both Dr. Carvelli and the technicians provided me with invaluable and extraordinary details on what I must do in order to preserve the hard work and investment in my implants. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my Denist for a tooth extraction that was beyond his area of practice. I went for an initial consultation and was impressed by the staff who were very friendly to a new patient, the dental assistant who kept me informed about all that was going on and the Dentist, who fully explained what the extraction was going to do, why he thought an implant would be beneficial to replace the extract, what impacts moving forward without the implant would be like and then allowed me to process the information and choose how to proceed. His information was inline with what my primary dentist had said to expect. His staff informed me of costs to expect after my discussion with the dentist and will work with my insurance to see what is covered. My experience has been good so far, I will post again after the extraction.

I recently needed 2 tooth implants, and had the choice of going to implant specialist. I chose Dr. Caplanis and am so glad that I did. He did an outstanding job restoring bone and gum to give me outstanding implants and the results speak for themselves. I’ve been to many places, and coming from someone who’s very hesitant about choosing a dental practice, I can say that I definitely trust Dr. Caplanis and will always be coming back. I also had my teeth cleaned by Tanya, and she was very good as well. She checked for cancer and was also very good at explaining everything about the condition of my teeth during the cleaning. She even suggested different things to do specifically to maintain my teeth health. I really can’t recommend this place enough. Negative experience: On entering their office, your very first impression is this ear-blasting "music" blaring throughout the area. One would think they let some juvenile delinquent on drugs run their sound system. If the goal is to drive people away -- it worked! I will not be back!

You can tell he cares, but just as important, he is incredibly skilled at what he does. He performed gum flap surgery on me in 2023 and it went flawlessly. Fantastic experience: Dr Caplanis is the only periodontist who gave me an evidence-based, no-pressure opinion on my gum recession. After three other specialists recommended pricey grafts or pinhole surgery—and even disagreed on which teeth “needed” work—Dr Caplanis shared with me the latest research, explained that my recession was moderate, and said treatment should wait. He recommended routine cleanings, a night guard, and a yearly check-up instead of immediate surgery (which was quoted at $7k by others). One year later, my gums were stable (confirmed by Dr Caplanis and my dentist) and Dr Caplanis confirmed no further action was necessary at this time. It’s refreshing to find a board-certified latest evidence based periodontist who prioritizes what’s best for the patient over unnecessary procedures. Highly recommended.
