Fantastic experience: Dr. Mehran Mahmoudian is truly outstanding. From the moment I met him, I could tell he is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly friendly and kind. He has a fantastic manner with patients—very calm, respectful, and reassuring. He takes his time, explains everything clearly, and makes sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. You can genuinely feel that he cares about his patients and wants the best for them. His behavior, attention to detail, and the way he treats people really set him apart. He handles everything with confidence and expertise, while still being approachable and easy to talk to. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines such a high level of professionalism with such a warm and friendly personality. I felt very well taken care of every step of the way. The staff at 7 Day Dental are also wonderful. They are all very kind, polite, and professional (I don’t know all their names, but every single one of them is great and takes excellent care of patients). From the front desk to the assistants, everyone is welcoming and helpful, creating a very positive and comfortable environment. Overall, this was a great experience. Dr. Mehran Mahmoudian’s friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care for his patients, along with the supportive and kind staff, make this office a place I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I was quoted $500 for a crown, but the day of the procedure the price went up tp $1000 and they denied ever giving me the original quote which I know they did. This is with insurance too.

Negative experience: Never had a chance to meet an actual dentist or hygienist. The tiny reception area was packed, I was sitting there for 15 minutes before anyone even checked me in. I think the receptionists name was Jeannie. EXTREMELY RUDE, unprofessional, quick with all of the elderly patients simply asking her questions, it was complete chaos. Lets just say I walked out, and will never go back. Do not waist your time.

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with one of my teeth and was constantly getting food stuck between two teeth. I saw another dentist before, but they told me they couldn’t fix it. Then I visited Dr. Mehran Mahmoudian, and he took the time to clearly explain everything to me. He carefully examined my teeth, explained the issues, and gave me a really thoughtful treatment plan. He didn’t rush at all and spent over two hours working on my tooth with incredible care and attention. He’s truly a compassionate and dedicated doctor. In the end, he filled the tooth perfectly, and I’m extremely happy with the result. He was amazing throughout the whole process. I’m truly satisfied and highly recommend him to everyone!

Naturally, I was hesitant—worried about the pain, the time, the cost, and most importantly, how it would look. From my very first consultation, Dr. Christine Chung put all of those concerns at ease. She answered every question thoroughly and assured me that she wouldn’t settle for anything less than a perfect fit. What really stood out was her attention to detail and high standards. When it came time to install the temporary crown and receive the permanent one, she examined everything—look, color, and fit—and wasn’t satisfied. Without hesitation, she sent it back to make sure the final result would be flawless. Dr. Chung and her team are warm, professional, and uncompromising when it comes to getting things right. They care about your comfort and your smile, and it shows in every step of the process. Negative experience: Overall the dentists' service is alright, but the receptionist is rude, she'll ignore you and be on her phone. The amount of money they say some work will charge feels like scam, so make sure you get 2nd opinion.

Negative experience: 70 dentist has recently been renovated, but it was incredibly noisy and full of stress from people walking around just generally talking about things that had nothing to do with the dental profession. I was never really greeted until I asked someone if I needed to sign in. After a bit of a weight, I was put in the very back of the hall, and the hygienist was extremely pleasant, but the noise level was alarming and not very comforting. I am used to Dennis offices that are very calm and quiet with soothing music and staff by professionals. This was hardly the case and I’m not sure I will ever go back

Negative experience: Wouldn’t even provide basic cleaning unless I agreed to their $500 in after insurance services which the DDS never even explained to me before writing up my treatment plan. Walked out, never switched dentists so quickly *Update - went to another Dentist and the new dentist's treatment plan was 2 fillings - $50 and they provided basic cleaning and fluoride services without holding me hostage. 7 Day Dental is a scam, they will find all the possible insurance codes to charge you for every single itemized charge possible (and even ones not required) so they can get paid by insurance rather than just try to help you so you can get your teeth clean and fixed.

Negative experience: I had an extremely unpleasant experience with your receptionist, Jaine, both over the phone and in person. When I called to inquire about the doctor’s first and last name to research their background before scheduling an appointment, Jain responded rudely, saying she didn’t know how to pronounce the name because “it’s not an American name.” When I asked her to spell it, she refused, claiming she didn’t have time and that the clinic doesn’t share such information. She even questioned why I needed the doctor’s name in the first place. I explained that I wanted to ensure I was comfortable before booking, but she brusquely said, “We don’t do that here,” and blamed the clinic’s relocation for not having time to assist me. Despite this, I scheduled an appointment because my insurance directed me to your clinic. However, when I arrived today after receiving multiple text reminders about my appointment, Jain told me it had been canceled because the clinic didn’t accept my insurance. She took my insurance card, checked it herself, and then informed me—quite rudely—that my insurance wasn’t accepted. I later checked my voicemail and found just one message from November 25th stating they were missing an insurance number. When I called back and spoke to another staff member, they confirmed the clinic does accept my insurance and apologized for the misunderstanding. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If your clinic is undergoing updates, I strongly suggest updating your staff as well. Jaine’s behavior was unhelpful and disrespectful, and there are many professional and courteous individuals who would better represent your clinic.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Chung has built a wonderful network of family-friendly dental offices. You can always tell when people enjoy who they work for and I can see the staff smiling through their surgical masks no matter how difficult their day might be. From the front desk and back again there are friendly, engaging, highly capable professionals everywhere you turn. Once the initial forms were completed I have never waited for more than 5 minutes in the waiting area before being led to a chair, except for the time they had just moved into temporary office quarters due to a remodeling project. Doctor Mahmoudian and his angelic assistants are masters at their craft, and they worked halfway through their lunch hour to complete my work and try to get their afternoon patients back on schedule. While operating, they are a synchronized team working as one who speak softly and assuredly to keep the patient informed and relaxed every step of the way. I've heard that there are people who don't like to go to the dentist, but I have enjoyed every minute I have spent at the Laguna Woods 7-Day Dental office, and I am looking forward to my next visit already. I'm getting new crowns!

Negative experience: Don't go to 7 Day Dental. I just go my dental insurance and they were the Dentist on the list to pick. First they said I needed a deep laser cleaning, that cost over 400.00 out of pocket with insurance. Then they said I needed a root canal and crown. that was over 1800.00 with insurance. I went to my old dentist for a second opinion. They took an X-ray of the tooth in question and said I didn't need a root canal, and if I didn't need a root canal, I wouldn't need a crown. Also, that I didn't need the deep laser cleaning, a regular cleaning would have been good. It seems that they just wanted the insurance money and my out of pocket. I suggest you get a second opinion before having any work done at 7 Day Dental.

Negative experience: Very bad office and awful experience. First of all they are selling masks for $1 and of course won’t see you without a mask. Apparently front desk lady is treating patients right in the lobby as she was telling me my X-rays were not good (the ones I brought with me). She didn’t even let me talk to the doctor about X-rays issue( told me I would have to wait 40 mins or so when dr will be free) . All she was doing is pushing me to do X-rays and that I won’t be seen without them. And I was told so only after sitting there for 40 mins ( yes, 10 of them were for filling their long paperwork on a tablet ). Also their treating rooms is small open space with shields , no privacy at all( saw that when walked to their restroom).since I wasn’t going to do X-rays there I just walked away from this crazy office and it’s rude and pushy stuff. Do not recommend . Stay away from this place.

Fantastic experience: Had to get some urgent crown repair work done and also sign up as new patient. I was given a next day appointment. Staff were responsive and my immediate needs resolved same day. Very satisfied that this team will be my long term dental care providers.

Negative experience: Awful. Zero stars. They took a full set of x-rays, and then never looked at them. Is that even legal? They ignored what I asked them to do, and instead tried to convince me I needed a lot of work done. $1,595 spread over 6 visits. My insurance would not pay for any of it. I believe all I need is a clean, and a repair to a broken crown. I went to a different 7 Day Dental office 6 months earlier, and had no problems there. In fact, that was a great Office. And that's why I know I don't need a lot of work. But now I have different insurance, and only this Office accepted it, so when my crown broke I called them. I looked up the "urgent" periodontal work they claimed was essential if I wanted to keep my teeth. Guess what? There are exactly zero peer-reviewed studies showing it's effective. I looked up the special crown they said was necessary. It's much much more expensive than a regular crown. And the slight benefits of it don't even apply in my case.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist! I am extremely nervous of the dentist and they make me feel so comfortable in fact I drive 108 mi round trip just to go to them. I will never go to any other dentist. Christine and her staff are awesome. My husband was also nervous of the dentist but was very pleased when I introduced him to my dentist. Highly recommend this dentist

Not that they were great just convenient location..

I'm terrified of the dentist but from the second I walked in there, everyone treated me with gentleness, respect and kindness. TRULY. And not only that but I had called many offices for prices on placing a crown and 7 Day Dental by far had the best prices! And they don't try to upsell you. Negative experience: Dr. Chung refused to provide my annual cleaning which is included in my dental plan for today she insisted that I purchase an expensive “deep cleaning“ service which is not covered by insurance. Dr. Chung has no problem cashing the monthly capitation payment sent by my insurance company even if she provides no service at all. It seems greedy to take the monthly cavitation payment for patients and then refused to provide the basic covered services that is a benefit of the insurance plan being paid by her patients. I recommend avoiding this dentist as they are too focused on extracting cash from their patients.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal today and I’ve never been to a dental office that cared so much and provided such quality work! Although I could tell their schedule was very full, they were obviously spending the time and energy to make sure I felt cared for and that the dental work I was receiving was high quality and would last. Highlights: They were very empathetic during the numbing process. She went to every length to make sure the initial shots didn’t hurt as much: numbing topical, mental tricks for distraction, that thing where they tap she taps your cheek to distract you from the focal point of the pain as she gives the shot. I’m pretty tough when it comes to dental work but those things mean a lot with things like this. Both the dental professionals performing my root canal today were so considerate and made fun conversation, and were very kind to me throughout the procedure. It was fascinating because they explained everything they were doing and why. The gentleman dental assistant helping the doctor talked me through everything and it was very comforting. Truly wish I’d gotten their names! I do know that Jamie, who seems to manage treatment plans and financials, is one of my favorite people. She is very straightforward and kind, working with me to figure out my appointments and treatment plan. Aimee (I’m not sure if I spelled her name right) is the dental hygienist that did my cleaning and finished my deep cleaning on my second appointment. She was very considerate any sweet, and squeezed me in last min to finish my deep cleaning. Highly recommend this dental office! Very excited to get the rest of my dental work done here.

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place. Unfriendly front staff. I went with my 3 children. Waited1 hour and just check the teeth and said they can’t clean today because plumb is broken. I am thinking why they did not call me and let me know the situation before I go there.

Negative experience: Ordered a mouthguard a month ago, apparently it arrived weeks ago, but no one thought to call me. I called in today after realizing how long it had been, and they informed me it arrived in the beginning of October. They gladly took my $450, but apparently were never going to let me know that my mouthguard arrived. This is not the first issue I've had with this location. Completely unprofessional I'm in shock at how terrible this dentist office is. If you read this please look elsewhere as they do a terrible job here. I let them know I heavily grind my teeth and was assured the mouthguard would be rushed, apparently that's not the case as they left it sitting for weeks without letting me know. I guess it's my fault for assuming they would do their job properly and inform me I can come in to pick it up. Please save yourself some stress and go to a dentist office that actually cares and is able to complete a basic task. It's a common theme for places like this to not take responsibility and give excuses as to why they do a terrible job.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this location (Laguna Hills) for the past 5 years. Dr. Mehran is the best dentist I've ever had an experience with in my entire life. When it comes to a dentist chair I think of it like an electric chair, but however he does his work makes me so relaxed that one time I almost fell sleep while he was working on my teeth. I'll be going to them as long as my doctor is still practicing there. The staff is also very kind, professional and caring and stay on top of reminding me about my future or upcoming appointments.

Negative experience: the rezone i filed a complaint with California dental group against this office is as follows, this office trains the front office girls to extract money from the vulnerable clients by telling them that they need extra work to be done and that the insurance does not cover it, but they say can manipulate the report to the insurance company, therefore if you want the service you have to pay them a ridiculous amount of money, this is the only way they can stay in business, stay away from this rude service office and very old and outdated equipment
