I had such a great experience as the healing process was considerably less painful and problematic than I had heard from other places. I was so terrified and apprehensive that I put it off for years. However you have been so gentle, understanding, informative and were able to put me at ease enough that I proceeded with the surgery. I cannot say enough good things about you and your team. I am now 7 weeks post- operation and so glad I went for it. I am healing well and comfortable. I am sure the next phase in my gum grafting will go as smoothly as the first one. But I must commend my wonderful hygienist Daniela Beltran, who did my recent deep cleaning. Her care and desire to do the best for her patients, can not go unnoticed. She is detailed, professional and a chair I will gladly sit in anytime to have my teeth cleaned. The result are more then I expect and that is due to her commitment to do best for her patients. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality dental work. I experienced a dental emergency with severe tooth pain on a Friday morning and required urgent treatment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Reshad. He is a rare combination of a periodontist and prosthodontist, and along with Aracely, they were exceptional. They carefully reviewed my CT scan and X-rays and managed to relieve my pain just before the weekend. This office truly feels like a hidden gem. Fantastic experience: July 16 Update: Returned fully healed from January surgery below -- to do the same surgery on the other side of my mouth. Another wonderful experience -- please read my January review below! Dr Christen Bergman is so highly skilled and compassionate, I never felt a thing even without the sedative. Surgical assistants Omar, Tameron and Araceley are so intelligent and helpful. Ian and Kristy at reception do a great job. I feel so blessed to have found this practice. Jan 4: Dr. Setya's practice is superb! I'm so grateful to my regular dentist Dr. Leif Löberg for introducing me here. Dr. Christen Bergman, who gave me an intricate gum grafting surgery January 4, is a true artist--with a big heart. She's not just doing a job; she loves the science of making health come alive in people. Her love for her patients shows! Dr. Bergman has performed hundreds of these surgeries for over 15 years. Beforehand, Dr. Bergman answered all my questions, with remarkable directness, insight, and clarity. And a big smile! Surgical assistant Omar fielded many follow-up questions adroitly and in such a friendly way. Treatment Coordinator Kristy worked proactively and kindly to complete all the paperwork and coordination. In surgery, I was first amazed at Dr. Bergman's skill. Rather than "nuking" a big nerve and sending all my cheeks, tongue and jaw numb, she instead took the trouble to carefully administer just the right small amounts of "targeted" local anesthetic topically, all across the rather wide surface areas to be treated. I never lost feeling in my tongue or cheeks the entire time. Yet there was no pain! Then Dr. Bergman began surgically. It was so pain-free that I was able to enjoy how artfully she worked, especially stitching the first large surgical area back together. "You could be in Hollywood sewing dresses for the stars!" I said. That was just the start of an arduous 3-hour procedure and here's where Dr. Bergman's compassion really shined. The "targeted" local anesthetic (my label) wears off quickly, so it's more work for the doctor than a big "nuking." The "targeted" type must be continually updated during surgery. And work hard she did! Dr. Bergman was continuously asking "can you feel this?" to make sure I had no pain where she was invading tissue -- as if I were her own child or sister. I felt so secure, I could just lay back and relax all that time, and even fell asleep awhile--even though I opted out of sedation and had only taken a few Tylenol.

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience during my first visit with Dr Setya and his staff. I have a long history of gum disease and after two failed gum grafts (with a different periodontist) I feel hopeful that Dr Setya will be able to "save" my teeth. I received the most comprehensive oral examination (worth $500)of my life for a suggested donation of $89 to one of five charities with which Dr Setya is involved.

Positive experience: I have a deep, deep mental fear of going to or even sitting in that dentist chair. Dr Setya and all who work with him are aware of my anxiety and treat me with respect and understanding. That is why I gave them only 4 stars, because I can’t give going to the dentist 5 stars, even though they deserve it.

Fantastic experience: Great Job! Later at night I did have severe muscle spasms and my body was uncomfortable all over. I read the medicine information for Halcyon and it said the medicine can do that. I took Tylenol and then I could sleep.

Fantastic experience: I just received a two step implant procedure from Dr Micah Crowley - a molar extraction and bone graft back in April and the dental implant yesterday. Both Dr Crowley and the staff were extremely professional, caring and thorough in explaining procedures, costs and post surgical treatment. Susie was especially great yesterday during the entire implant procedure. She was always there anticipating what Dr Crowley needed. During the procedure, Dr Crowley continually asked me how I was doing and added novacaine towards the end prior to suturing as I was starting to feel pain. As the wife of a retired dentist, I was very impressed with the entire staff and especially Dr Crowley and his chairside manner and efficiency of the procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Crowley to anyone looking for any type of periodontal treatment.

Fantastic experience: I underwent a dental surgery at Dr. Setya and Dr. Bergman office, the professionalism and I care I received through the entire process was superb! The moment I knew I needed an extraction I had no doubt but to to reach for the best dentist and that’s is Dr. Setya. From my first visit to the post surgery care, everything was handled with the expertise to patient comfort. Dr. Setya is an expert! I was a little nervous about the procedure, he addressed all my concerns and put me at ease from the beginning. I knew I was on great hands. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was greeted with great professionalism, Omar the dental assistant took me back and performed all the necessary X-rays , photos and CT scan. Everyone was so kind and caring. The surgery was very smooth, I never felt any pain or discomfort. I had very clear post op instructions and guidance to ensure a smooth recovery. That same day Dr. Setya contacted me to make sure I was doing well, and I was comfortable. He followed up with me regularly to make sure I was doing fine. His commitment to patient care is out of this world. I cannot emphasize how grateful I’m with Omar, Noor, Elizabeth, Nancy, Susie, Alex, Tamara, Terra, and Dr. Setya for taking care of me the way you did, I’m forever thankful. If you ever need of dental surgery, I highly recommend their services. You can trust that you will be in the hands of a true professional and a team of true caring people. Thanks

Negative experience: For years, Dr Hirst was my periodontist. I absolutely adored him and his amazing staff. I had a lot damage due to chemo in my battle with cancer. (ya, it's not just your hair...it's all over) Dr Hirst saved me!! His amazing staff was always friendly and professional and always made me feel welcomed and of course, dr Hirst was always kind. In January of this year, I developed a periodontal issue so I called his office for an appointment, told he retired and replaced by dr Bergman. At the appointment I noticed the awesome staff had also been replaced by, a bevy of odd cult like people, but Dr Bergman seemed knowledgable and nice enough so I agreed to the surgery. I was then presented with 2 contracts to sign, this was something new, as well. The surgery was set so far in the future that my dentist strongly encouraged me to see a different periodontist hearing a lot of complaints from other patients since dr Hirst's retirement. I wish I had done so because, on the day of the surgery, dr Bergman approached me and said: 'I changed my mind. I'm not doing the surgery.' No logical explanation just, I don't want to do it! See ya! Dr Bergman and her odd staff have caused me a great deal of additional unnecessary suffering and trauma. All I can say is, I really miss Dr Hirst and his amazing staff!

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience with removal of two back teeth due to bone damage in preparation for replacement surgery. The entire staff excellent in preparing me and answering questions, Dr Setya and his assistant Susie were friendly, competent and professional and responsive to my needs, they easily overcame the trepidation I had from a previous unhappy dental surgery years ago and I hardly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr Setya and Susie for taking such good care of me yesterday. I had 3 implants and never felt any discomfort or pain. I would highly recommend this practice as the doctors and staff are friendly and most of all very caring.

Fantastic experience: I went in for two gum grafts and although it was not easy, Dr. Setya made it much more comfortable. I will be going back for another graft soon and I put my trust in him again to make it as smooth as possible. Update. Since my last review I had another gum graft on 5 teeth.
