Fantastic experience: Took my mom there by recommendation of a friend and it was one of the best recommendations I've gotten. With my mom English being her second language and Spanish being her first language Dr. Pattani spoke to her in her first language to make sure she understood the procedure process and what she needed to do and what was going to be done and she is very happy with her results. Also everyone there was amazing from the girls in the front (Maria and Jackie) and the person who helped the doctor (Brooke). The amenities and technological support are wonderful, including the TVs on the ceiling (I certainly love the distraction) and the x-ray machines that are conveniently right in the room, So they are very efficient!

Negative experience: Overall, my experience was highly disappointing. The staff was nice, but my tooth treatment was not adequately addressed, and Dr. Van Nguyen wanted to perform a root canal that I did not necessarily need. As a result, I had to go to another dental office for a second opinion, and they fixed my filling that she did, and I was relieved of my discomfort from the tooth that Dr. Van Nguyen had filled. They told me I didn't need a root canal at all.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a good Dentistry I recommend checking out Zion Family Dentistry! These ladies really make you feel welcomed and you can tell they really love what they do! Dr.Van Nguyen and Alyssa really made me feel comfortable about the work I was getting done and really made time go fast. The dentist is something everyone hates but these ladies really made it feel welcoming and they are the best around! Check them out!!!

Negative experience: I would never go back. The partial he had made for me was terrible. Not only that the two teeth he had a partial connected to should’ve been capped and he did not do that now I have more problems.

Negative experience: I brought my 4-year-old daughter in for an emergency visit due to a painful upper jaw abscess that was starting to affect her eye - a serious and potentially dangerous condition. Despite explaining that we had already been prescribed antibiotics from immediate care and could not get a pediatric dental appointment until September, the dentist did nothing to treat the source of the infection. There was no attempt to extract the tooth, no drainage, and frankly, no urgency. We were sent home with instructions to increase the dose of the antibiotic that we already have. We drove over an hour for this appointment, hoping for real intervention, instead, we were told “there was nothing they could do.” She also incorrectly told me that amoxicillin and penicillin are the same, which they are not. I’m sure it was just an oversimplification, but it minimized the complexity of antibiotic treatment. For more uninformed or uneducated parents, this could have offered false reassurance. Additionally, when asked what to do in the meantime given that we cannot get an appointment until September, I was told, “The antibiotic should work.” If your child is in pain or has a spreading infection, I strongly recommend you seek care elsewhere. I will continue to advocate for my daughter beyond this visit. Giving two stars because they accommodated a last minute appointment.

The staff is Fantastic from Jessica the hygentist, Dr. Van who is excellent at her job, Ally & Maria @ the front desk, Alyssa (dental assistant) & the whole staff wrapped up is superior to any other place I've ever been. If you are looking for a dentist or looking to switch this is the place to go. You'll Never get better service or the level of comfort & care you receive here. Keep being exceptional. Alyssa saved one of the toys she liked from a previous dental appointment so she can have it this time. I really appreciate she did that for my daughter.

Trista, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease throughout my visit. Though the process of getting x-rays isn't the most enjoyable, Trista made it as comfortable as possible. She took the time to carefully explain every step ahead of time, calming any anxious feelings I had, and her gentle, thoughtful approach truly made a difference. She built such a wonderful rapport with me, ensuring I felt completely cared for. After the x-rays, she personally guided me to the next room, reassuring me that I would see her again before I left. I then had the privilege of meeting Iris, my fantastic hygienist, who was incredibly thorough and explained each tool and step in the cleaning process with such care. She frequently checked in on me and made sure my teeth were cleaned to perfection, leaving them feeling silky smooth – I’ve never had a more thorough cleaning! Dr. Van greeted me with kindness, offering valuable advice on enamel wear prevention and tailored oral care tips. The entire team, from the front desk to the back rooms, made me feel welcome, included, and genuinely cared for. It’s clear that this dentistry truly values its patients, and I can’t thank this team enough for making my visit so memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

Negative experience: Unfortunately I don’t have a chance to review the doctors here as I never got in for my emergency appointment. The receptionist Ariana couldn’t figure out how to access my blue cross blue shield ppo dental plan, was unhelpful, short with me, and seemed to not give a darn about trying to figure it out. I ended up leaving simply because of the rudeness towards me in an already painful and upsetting situation. The admins had at least three points of contact with me since yesterday, one of which specially was to ask my insurance info and another having taken place just hours before my visit. So many chances to tell me that they could not figure out my insurance so I could call ahead and resolve prior to leaving work and getting coverage for this appointment. Will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Best place my family and myself have been to. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel welcome!! You will never have to wait they are on point keeping up with appointment times but don’t rush you once you are in. Dr. Tom is amazing, he patiently listens and explains the treatment plan. Three in our family have braces done by them and wouldn’t go anywhere else for my other children. Thank you all for all you do to keep our teeth healthy and pretty!! ♥️

I’m back in town for a couple weeks and was hoping they could fit me in for a cleaning and check up. I stopped in this morning with my fingers crossed and they were able to see me this afternoon! The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. Jessica cleaned my teeth and took X-rays. She’s been with them for several years and is always professional and gentle. Dr. Tom did the exam and answered all my questions. He’s new to their team they’re fortunate to have found such a talent. Besides being impressed with his work, he was an absolute angel. They can repair broken and cracked teeth to look like new — right in the office! They believe in saving your real teeth and they do a fabulous job! Dr. Tom saved teeth that I did not think could be saved! Once you experience these doctors, you will not go anywhere else! One of the best kept secrets in Zion — this awesome dentist’s office!

Positive experience: Wished you were better at admin. Local Zion dentistry; Wished you were polite, were more detailed and submitted pre-authorizations in a timely manner. Instead I felt like you were gaslighting me. called my insurance co. for follow up on pre-authorization submitted. Office never submitted then said your insurance must receive a bunch. It’s digitized, they can search for it via fax and items submitted electronically. You never submitted it & then said it would be the last time you would submit it. When I went to a new dentistry they said you sent the scans with screenshots instead of emailing the scans so they can see the details which is standard practice. Why are you taking shortcuts, just do it right the first time.

Negative experience: The staff at Zion Dental are randonly telling me I have a bill of over $800 to pay despite not having set foot in their establishment since Feburary 2022, every email I've sent about the issue has never been responded to, every call and every voicemail is never answered. Extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr Tom was great. Fast and very gentile. He explained the procedure every step of the way. My cracked tooth was out before I knew it. The ladies in the office Jessica, Trista, Diana, and Alyssa were all very nice, smiling and very helpful. Nice change to see people who actually know how to treat people. I will be back.
