Fantastic experience: Was a new pt today. Was made to feel comfortable and relaxed Answered all my questions Hope to be a long time patient.

Negative experience: Just had a crown done. Dentist is good and seems to care. The assistant was just awful. Kept gagging me, pulling my head/cheek to the left while the dentist is asking me to turn my head right to her. Later when he was putting in the temp crown I told him he was too rough - twice! His response was "I'm barely touching you." My face still hurts the day after.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at this practice. The hygienist, Jenny, did a wonderful job. Made me feel very comfortable. Very personable. Beautiful office. Definitely made the right decision.

Positive experience: The lady who cleaned my teeth was amazing, very detailed and very polite. The dentist was ok. I heard the dentist enter the room and start clicking through what I think was my xrays and chart behind me. She did not greet me or introduce herself first. I am not sure if she put new gloves on before entering the room. She then grabbed a tool said hello and poked at a few teeth and then said everything looked great. She spent more time looking at the computer than she did with me. While I don’t have dental concerns, I feel the dentist should have spent more than what felt like less than 30 seconds with me the actual patient. I will ask for a new dentist next visit.

Fantastic experience: I read the reviews of many places in efforts to find a new dentist in the area. This was by far the best dental experience I've had. Everyone is so nice and they pay close attention to detail. Update 1/28/26 Two years from my original review. I've now been coming for 2 years and still the same wonderful experience. I just had a cleaning today and as always very thorough. I no longer have to get the deep cleanings so regularly as my teeth/gums have improved since coming here. The dentist and hygienist are so friendly and professional, I'll always recommend.

Negative experience: The dental hygienist and the doctor who saw me today were excellent. But walking into the office and listening to the two receptionist talking to each other and on the phone talking to a patient about his bill totally rude and unprofessional. It was uncomfortable to hear them talk like that.

Positive experience: I was there in december to check my teeth on the upper left side of my mouth. I was there in February for cleaning. Was told I need to do cleaning every four months instead of every six months. Going to an oral surgeon in march for the teeth on upper left side. Had an appointment on 06/22/22 for teeth cleaning and crown on tooth #14. Both were excellent. I had an appointment on thursday, 07/14/22 to make my temporary crown permanent. However the temporary crown was not so temporary. It had to be drilled off without pain killer. After it was off, everything went fine. On tuesday, 10/25/2022 I had an appointment for a cleaning. The technician did a very good job. However, I was told I need a filling replacement and a new crown. Always bad news. on 08/19/2025 had a cleaning. tech did a good job. I told the tech I had issues with a tooth in the upper right. the doctor told me I had a cavity that was giving me the problem. only a crown would correct the problem.

Negative experience: I waited over 30 minutes for the dentist, and when I asked how much longer it would be, I was told she was just parking her car. The hygienist had done a great job and I didn't have any questions, so I left. It's inexcusable that the dentist would arrive after 11:00 for my 10:00 appointment.

Fantastic experience: Staff is friendly and my original dentist from Smiles of Gurnee is still available so that is a plus.

I have been happy with Dental Associates and yes they are getting to know me……A very kind and friendly staff and it has been nice getting to meet all the dentists. My goal is to walk in calm and walk out calm…….I’m pleased!

Negative experience: I did my 24-hour cool-down self advice. I'm still upset that a patient can make an appointment and still wait to be seen over 40 minutes. Along with the fact that two other people coming in afterwards and being taken in front of me.
