Fantastic experience: I'm so happy with this practice after my last dentist lied to me about having a cavities and needing work and then trying to sell me on excessivly expensive treatments and special fillings that cost $1k. That dentist by the way is California Dental Care in Rancho Cucamonga. I went to this practice and they informed me that not only did I not have the cavities the previous place claimed but that I didn't need any of the work they also claimed I needed. They even noticed that the retainers that provider had given me were allowing my teeth to move. Haven't had any issues since going here. They are fantastic and trustworthy!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going here for a long time. It is always a great experience if you can say that re a dental visit. We always trust their procedures and recommendations. Always professional and have a way of making you comfortable. Have sent several family and friends for treatments.

Fantastic experience: For over 20 years in this office, every time I need to sign certain papers before I was lead to the room. This time today at 11 am perhaps due to my 5 minutes late , I do not have to sign and went to the room right away. Today is my half yearly normal cleaning, no special or extra things to take care, after when I leave I reminded them to let me sign back the paper, she said is ok because everything is the same , no change is ok without my signing on the paper, so perhaps this is some special I never come across. Seems more elastic! But only if we can trust each other is no problem. If not might have arguments or problem exists without signing in today for my normal cleaning. Thankyou ! 7/24/2026.

Fantastic experience: I just moved from FL to the Monrovia area and needed to find a new dentist. I researched dental practices online and chose Monrovia Dentalcare. Turned out to be a very wise choice. The reception staff was friendly and efficient. I waited less than 5 minutes before the hygienist came to get me. She was friendly and got right to work taking a full set of baseline X-rays. My dentist was Dr. Jane Refela. She was very professional and personable. She worked efficiently and explained everything she was doing throughout. An overall great experience given it was a visit to the dentist! I would highly recommend Monrovia Dentalcare and Dr. Refela.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dao is the best. I live in Northridge and I choose to drive all the way to Monrovia because Dr. Dao is a Dr. who cares, does not recommend unnecessary treatments, speaks from personal experience with her own oral care, and I wouldn’t change her for any other dentist. I vistes other dentists throughout the years because I thought the distance was too far, but i ended up paying for all these extra treatments, and ended up feeling more like an ATM than a patient. That is not the case with Dr. Dao, I have been under her care on and off for about 15 years and I would absolutely recommend her. She is a compassionate medical professional and not a money-hungry individual like a lot of dentists out there. The staff are also very nice, attentive, and respectful. I appreciate that they don’t have conversations amongst themselves when a patient is waiting by their front desk, that level of attention goes a long way. Great customer service.

Negative experience: odd experience. i was calling around to find a dentist. i called here and asked if she could verify this is an in network dentist for dental dental ppo. she said that she would need to schedule me an appointment first before she can check. i said okay that’s fine. she said “but the first one isn’t until a month from now!” (like hoping i said okay nvm lol) so i said okay that’s fine. then she took down my insurance information and said she’d have to call me back to check if this was in network. i asked how long that usually takes, she said a week or two. i said okay thanks bye. but then, i called the next dentist on my list. and somehow that person was able to check while on the phone with me that that dentist was in network, i scheduled an appt and just like that i had a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: My daughter highly recommend me to go and see her Dentist at Monrovia Dentalcare after having been told that I needed a lot of work done on my teeth. I am so glad I did, turned out that I didn't need to have as much as they said I needed. The dentist are very upfront and honest.

Fantastic experience: A year ago I found this gem of a Dental office while searching on google for the best place to take my 70yr old hispanic mother that was very set in her old ways of traveling to Mexico for dental care. I decided to wait long enough to give my honest review of this office and Dr. Dao. The staff and Dr Dao have been amazing. My mother feels very comfortable coming here. She loves how friendly Dr Dao and her team are, and how well they explain everything. They have Dental assistants who speak Spanish, and Dr Dao understands and speaks some as well so the language barrier was never an issue. I highly recommend Monrovia Dental Care. Dr. Dao is very professional and highly knowledgeable.

I emailed the office on a Sunday evening explaining my issue and was contacted first thing on Monday morning. Her staff efficiently and quickly scheduled the appointment. Positive experience: Used to feel safe and comfortable here. However my last visit was very impersonal. The gentleman who took me back did not give me a sense of comfort. The hygienist who assisted was new and gave very little directions on what to expect. Just said open here and put this on boom X-rays. Little disappointed today.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I get anxiety going to a dentist. Our old dentist constantly charged us for services that were never done; over priced; long wait even if it was just for cleaning (no less than 2 hours); and awful bed side manner. Last year, a friend recommended us this Dental clinic. The receptionist was very pleasant and patient when I made an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I walked in and the office was clean, like new. Dr. Refela introduced herself and went on with the procedure. My teeth are not the prettiest, but she made sure I understood the procedures being done. She used visuals as she thoroughly explained what was happening to my teeth. During check-up, she made sure the water she used on me were warm enough to not feel any sensitivity. Dr. Refela was very mindful about her patient's need. My first root canal was a good experience, too. The specialist was just as awesome! Many people have said there's pain after, not me. I dont wish to have another root canal, but the specialist did not traumatize my first experience. If you're looking for a trustworthy dentist, this is it!

The office is also beautiful and easily one of the cleanest and most elegant looking places I've been in healthcare. You can tell that they take extreme care in everything they do just by walking in and taking a look around.
