Fantastic experience: My family of 6 have been at Advanced Laser for maybe over a decade now. We were very happy with Dr. Patel and were uncertain about his replacement, who ended up being temporary. I'm SO glad we stuck it out through their business transition and growing pains. My 4 kids (11-18yo) LOVE Kaci, the new dental hygienist, who educated them thoroughly during their recent visits. It's wonderful feeling supported in our family's dental care and I'm looking forward to my own appointment next week. Fingers crossed I don't need any work done, but I feel confident I'm in good hands.

Fantastic experience: As a temporary dental hygienist I am exposed to many offices both good and not so good. Dr Jun and his team, in my opinion, are definitely one of the good ones. Dr Jun is very thorough with his diagnosis. He is soft spoken, kind, but most importantly he is honest. His team is very knowledgeable and helpful. As an experienced hygienist with over 20 years in the field I would definitely recommend this office.

Negative experience: ⭐ Worst dental experience of my life! Dr. Monica Scigala completely botched my treatment here. Because of her incompetence, I had to go through a full retreatment with another dentist — 6 long visits, each involving high doses of anesthesia — just to fix the mess she left behind. I even had to take 6 days off work and pay $3,750 out of pocket. To make it worse, the clinic has now removed her name from their website, pretending like she never existed. Zero accountability, zero apology, zero concern for the patient. I’ve attached before and after photos and proof of the amount I paid for retreatment. The difference speaks for itself. If you care about your health, time, and money, do not trust this clinic. They’ll cost you more than you can imagine.

Negative experience: I walked into the office nervous and embarrassed about how long I waited to see a dentist and how bad my teeth had gotten. The staff immediately put me at ease and Dr Patel couldn’t be more of a kind and honest person. The facility is beautiful and is loaded with state of the art equipment so it really is a one stop shop that maintains affordable prices. My next visit (today) was almost painless considering multiple fillings and 4 crowns but he completely changed the way I look and feel about myself. This man and his staff are simply amazing! If you’re nervous, embarrassed or even fearful of going to the dentist I would HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment as soon as possible. I still have work left to do with my teeth but I have zero fear of walking into that office next month for another go at it. I am just so thankful I found this wonderful team and I won’t be seeing any other dentist as long as Dr Patel is around. UPDATE 08/2025 Dr Patel and most of the staff are now gone and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Ownership of the office figured sending a couple text messages of the change was appropriate, I found it incredibly unprofessional and really a slap in my face as I’ve spent over $30k at their business. I have a friend who was there recently and the dentist was a kid just out of dental school, he also said he will not be going back. The staff was fantastic, big mistakes were made.

Value a person's time and together plan to accomplish objectives to get patient restorative work completed on a timely fashion while staying cost effective for all parties involved. The newest doctor Dr. Herbert Jun is so nice and thorough and while I miss Dr. Patel Dr. Jun transitions nicely working with the staff and I look forward to having him as my new dentist!

Negative experience: I went here for the $99 teeth cleaning new patient special. He would not clean my teeth. He claimed I needed an expensive deep cleaning. I don't agree with that my teeth are okay and always bleed during cleanings. I noticed he was stabbing my gums and not the teeth which I think caused much more bleeding. Pretty good scam...He then went on and told me about the thousands of dollars of dental work that I need. The whole time he never took his mask off to show me his face, thieves do that... I left with nothing done. I think Dr jun should have at least cleaned my teeth is best he could , I asked but he wouldn't do it. It's spend big money or go home with this guy. I'm looking for a different dentist....

Negative experience: Dr. Patel yelled repeatedly at his front desk staff and belittled them. It's 1) unprofessional to manage your staff that way, there are healthier ways of handling conflict and 2) unprofessional to do it in front of the waiting room full of patients. This office always seems micromanaged by the doctor and overworked, stressed as they cram you into their tight turn-around. I wouldn't work here and I am not comfortable being seen here again, especially after seeing how quick Dr. Patel turned around to treat patients with the kindness and patience his own staff deserve. Toxic office.

Negative experience: OMG I needed an implant ASAP! I broke my front tooth and it was one of the worse days of my life. Naturally, as a concerned individual that values my oral appearance, I needed action right away and couldn't do my due diligence as needed. This dentist portrayed he had the skills to do the job...and very friendly. With the name of the practice, I felt I was in the right place Fast forward beyond all the fancy financial schemes he offered, I felt I had no choice but to accept the outrageous sum. After two botched attempts he sent me to a specialist in Oak Brook who knew implants. His implant specialist (that he had on speed dial) took care of me. PROCEED WITH CAUTION on any high dollar needs with this company. In my opinion low cost cleanings are ok.

Fantastic experience: I hate going to the dentist, who doesn't? This place was amazing though. I had a tooth break and needed help ASAP. I saw this place had good reviews online from Yelp and Google so I gave them a shot! They were amazing! The staff was knowledgable and friendly. I have never had a good experience getting numbed before work gets done on my teeth, but I hardly felt anything when Dr. Patel numbed it! They took time to make sure my bite was right after my filling and they did the crown within an hour! They were even short staffed today but it didn't take away from the care that was taken and the excellence that was shown to be today. This is my new dental home and I am telling all my friends/family about this place. Just an amazing experience from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: My 5 year old son fell and smashed his mouth which pushed his two front teeth back. We called a few different places to get him seen ASAP and Advanced Laser and Cosmetic Dentistry got us right in right away. He ended up cracking one tooth and dislodging the other which meant both needed to be extracted. Their staffs calm and supportive bedside manner made all the difference. Even though the incident was traumatic, the experience the staff provided was exceptional, top notch. I can’t say enough great things about how well they handled the chaos, informed us along the way about the steps for the procedure and eased our concerns. I ended up chipping my front tooth a couple weeks later and they got me in the same day to correct it. Let’s hope our visits now become more routine and preventative.

Fantastic experience: Pleasantly Surprised! I had a horrible tooth implant experience several years ago that required the implant to be removed. Please note this was a "different dental establishment". Clearly I made the wrong Choice. I never thought I'd ever get another implant until yesterday...Dr. Patel's painless novocain expertise, knowledge, high tech equipment and assurance have made me a believer. As of today, I haven't even taken a tylenol for pain. If you're checking reviews before choosing a dentist, stop your search. This is the place. Dr. Patel, Stacy, Haley, and welcoming front staff are all terrific!
