The receptionist was fantastic and made checking in easy. Joseph did an amazing and painless job cleaning my teeth. He is very professional and kind. I especially appreciate his superb ability at explaining things in an understandable way. Dr. Moaddab gave me the final check and told me everything I needed to know in a personable and non-pushy way. He has excellent bedside manner. I was confident that this is a very knowledgeable dental team with all the cutting edge technologies. They showed the before and after photos of my teeth and provided me with a dental plan. I look forward to continuing my dental care here. UPDATE My second visit was scheduled two weeks later and it was just as impressive. I had more experience with Dr. Moaddab this time around. He's really excellent. The work was painless and quick and throughout the appointment he was focused on my comfort. Jackie was assisting during my appointment and I can't even begin to tell you how amazing, kind, and professional she is. She provided some of the best care I've ever received. I am really happy to have found such an all around great dental team. This will probably be my dental office for life.

Fantastic experience: This practice is awesome! I used to dread going to the Dentist. Everyone in the office is kind and knowledgeable. They take the time to provide a thorough consultation and use local anesthetics so that your experience is comfortable. My daughter referred them to me and now our whole family goes to this practice. Although I live 45 minutes away, the overall experience is worth the drive. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone -- especially if you have had a bad experience or dread going to the Dentist.

Positive experience: Recently I expressed concern in needing a crown on a tooth that I was not previously told I needed, when I visited my new dentist in my new neighborhood out of state. Arta was quick to reach out and ensure I was being taken care of & offered to lend me his opinion despite no longer being his patient since I moved. I appreciate the diligence and consistent concern for my care. Previous review: I’ve been to many dentists and they are by FAR the best. They know me personally, ask how I’m doing, and make me feel at home. They were also the only practice to realize that I grind my teeth badly and offer me a guard. Now I rarely get cavities and I used to have them constantly. Standard Dental is the best!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shatergholi is listed as the 'life-saving dentist' in my phone, which is a bit dramatic but probably says it all. Unfortunately, I unexpectedly pulled out a crown. After not being able to reach my dentist and in extreme panic, I called the after-hour numbers of four different dental practices in my area. Dr. Shatergholi was the only dentist to call me back, and she phoned immediately. I appreciated her calm demeanor, sense of humor (I pulled my crown out eating a piece of old Halloween candy), and urgency. In fact, she fit me in the very next day, arriving early to make a spot on the schedule and take me as the first patient. Needless to say, I've been a loyal patient ever since. In addition to Dr. Shatergholi, what stands out to me is the high level of skill and professionalism of the entire staff — from the front desk to billing to the dental hygienist to Dr. Moaddab. It's also a great location with ample parking and perfect for running a quick errand to the grocery store or pharmacy before or after your appointment. 6/5 stars

She always has great advice and is more gentle at flossing than I am myself and yet still thoroughly cleans each side of each tooth. I've been going to the dentist twice a year for 25 years and she's the best dental tech I have ever had.

I liked his staff as well, they were friendly, answered all of my questions and handled everything professionally. The dental hygenist was very caring, and gave me many good pointers. But I found the Cavitron machine did not work for me personally.
