Fantastic experience: Had 2 crowns done today! Only have the temporary ones on for now but a fabulous job to report this far. No pain. The dentist and the assistant were very informative and very caring about my concerns. Update…final crowns placed. I did have some discomfort due to slightly high crowns. They made room for me on the schedule to have them adjusted and am happy to say they feel great! Great team and I am happy with my results.

Fantastic experience: I decided to try this practice after reading rave reviews on a neighborhood Facebook group. They didn't exaggerate. Everyone was lovely. They take their time and ask about your concerns. It's definitely not a " factory" experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had several procedures done at Soul Dental, from regular cleanings and fillings to extractions, and I’ve always had a great experience. Dr. Brock takes the time to explain everything before starting and is very gentle and patient, especially for someone like me with dental anxiety. Kristen is also so kind and comforting. They both make you feel well cared for. I recommend Soul Dental to anyone with dental fears looking for a dentist they can feel comfortable with.

Fantastic experience: First appointment at Soul Dental. We were welcomed as we entered with the offer of water and a goody bag. Everyone working at this office seemed truly glad we were there. Everyone was friendly, compassionate and smiling. The appointment was for my disabled daughter, and it was amazing how Dr. Cabrera and his entire staff were so patient and understanding with her. He talked with me about my daughter's dental issues and listened patiently to everything I said. He consulted with me and kept me informed every step of the way. My husband and I were so impressed by this practice we decided we wanted to switch to them for our dentistry needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We can't believe we found this dentist and practice!

Negative experience: EDITED- Initial visit was good- I thought! After having work completed, I felt like I was robbed without a gun! I was told they accepted my insurance and then OUCH! The worst part is the work they did failed miserably in less than a year and had it taken care of at a much better, more competent dental practice. No transparency and or integrity. I’ll stay away and you should too.

Fantastic experience: Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I've had an initial exam, deep cleaning (2 appointments), and a filling done. Essentially no pain with any of it. They did a great job of anticipating the pain I might have and addressing it without going overboard. It is frustrating that dentists in Florida don't explain how the process here is different from other states in the beginning (they can't do a cleaning on the first visit and deep cleanings are required for most adult patients), but I was pleased that Soul Dental was willing to work out a payment plan.

Positive experience: They both one of my teeth lower, right (#30). So Dental necked the inside of my gum in the process. And at least one stitch in my gum came apart.

He has knowledge of a lot of dental and medical conditions that can most definitely impact your dental outcome, and I believe him to be wise beyond his years. He also most definitely takes into consideration barriers that could affect your medical outcome, While being willing to work with you on what you feel is best for you while guided by his medical knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I don’t even have words. I hadn’t been to a dentist in over 10 years. I knew I had a lot of issues with my teeth. I was ashamed and embarrassed. I cried the whole way there and even in the office when I fist got there. I suffer from extreme anxiety and panic. From the minute I walked through that door I felt calm. The Christian music in the background was so uplifting and reassuring that was going to be okay and I was in the right place. From the time I walked in there we felt so welcomed. There was zero judgment and the staff made me feel safe and like a human being. Yes, I need a lot of work (as I knew I would) but I’m so grateful and thankful that Dr. Brock came up with a treatment plan that will give me my confidence back and make me love to smile again. I came there in tears and left there laughing and that is a true testimony to who these people are. Highly recommend you giving them a try. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Soul Dental got me in immediately after me coming in to discuss a dental emergency. I was shocked that Dr Brock was able to see me that very afternoon. He knew my history of autism and dental phobias and saw that I was in pain, and wanted to help immediately.i arrived to the office at 1pm prepared to have to come back in a couple days. Luckily the anesthesiologist was there and they were able to get me taken care of immediately. I can’t even being to explain the compassion and quality of care that I received. I have sever sensory issues but was never felt to be judged and they genuinely cared for my Well being. Forever greatful!

Negative experience: I went to Soul Dental in late 2023 for a routine checkup after being honest that I had not seen a dentist in over five years. From the moment you walk in, the office prominently displays crosses, Christian affirmations, references to Jesus Christ as Savior, and plays Christian radio. Unfortunately, in my experience, this felt more like a façade than a reflection of ethical care. I was upsold on what I believed was a dental cleaning, only to be told after my second visit that I still needed to schedule an actual cleaning. By that point, I had already spent several hundred dollars and was presented with a treatment plan involving root canals, crowns, and over $4,000 in proposed work. I paid a $1,500 down payment toward this plan. Shortly afterward, my sister—only 30 years old with three young children—became seriously ill and required liver surgery due to a cancer scare. I contacted the office more than a month before my scheduled appointment to cancel and explained that I would be helping my sister for the next six months and would not be proceeding with treatment at that time. I requested my down payment be refunded. They refused. I never returned. Fast-forward to recently: I obtained a second opinion from another local dentist. Their treatment plan? One crown. Total cost: $400. That is an astonishing difference from the extensive and expensive plan I was pushed into previously. Additionally, the chlorhexidine treatment prescribed by Soul Dental genuinely alarmed my current dentist, who questioned why it was used in my case at all. Based on my experience, I believe Soul Dental uses religious imagery and messaging in a way that creates trust—but that trust was not honored in how my care was handled or how I was financially treated. I regret not leaving this review sooner, but with confirmation from another professional, I feel obligated to warn others in the Port Charlotte and North Port community.

Fantastic experience: Soul Dental is the best dental practice I've even been to. I've had a dental phobia for virtually all of my life, for various reasons. However, the friendly, gentle, and understanding staff at Soul Dental made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, they listened to me and provided exactly what I wanted. They never pressured me to have extra procedures, making them different than so many other dental practices. Also, IV sedation is available there, along with other sedation alternatives, for those who want or need that. I'm grateful that somebody recommended Soul Dental to me.

Fantastic experience: I had SUCH a pleasant experience at Soul Dental. As someone who hasn’t visited the dentist in over 10 years, I was a little apprehensive about getting back to business. They made it so easy and I felt right at home the moment I came through the door. The staffs is warm and welcoming, the wait was very short, less than 5-10 min from appt. time and I was in the chair being taken care of. The consultation was thorough and informative. We talked about the needs and the wants, which was a different experience. A care plan was established, so I have a timeline set of what to expect in my following appts as we tackle my specific dental needs. I enjoyed learning what I could do cosmetically In the future and being confident in what treatment I’ll be receiving to take care of the neglect from the last 10 years. Fantastic experience: I called at 9 to get an appointment today to be seen for my new denture. I got in at 11 to see Stephanie. She adjusted my denture to relieve the rubbing on the upper right side. Walked-in w fallen off old crown on a Thursday afternoon, not only seen but Dr Reichardt even Same impromptu visit Surgically corrected/lengthened this tooth's crowning area solving a 40yr gum irritation issue! During which this Skilled young Doctor has comfortable Contemporary Christian music playing in background ( Good /cool!). He did have another patient but neither of us lacked his focus, and he can explain to you the actualities, technicals, and Resolving options all you could need or want so you Are able to get helped. Pricing without insurance was even a nice little bit cheaper better than most others are in area, what a Great, Very Clean, Very comprehensive services in one office , Quality equipment of newer tech, Many/All Nice personalities, Comfortable dental practice/office is Soul Dental: (on US41 between Toledo and Enterprise before Port Charlotte mall/in Murdock area on 41's south side east of a shed dealership). Only hassle i had was w some pharmacies: Walgreens Toledo Blade/Price and CVS 41/Sumter (Avoid, ridiculous runarounds: try an independent instead of huge chains). Healing helps: My suture pressed on my gum right timing in a week during its evolving dissolving falling out healing and w antibiotic help along with my own helping: dabbed coconut oil and sprayed Collidal Silver on that gum surgical area I healed Fast Nicely! After dental work, of course, as numbing wears off Aleve stops any aches overnight next day felt perfectly fine. Really this feels like my teeth's best bite I've ever had ! and I've had molar crowns decades as well as orthodontics: so Dr Reichardt really did Very Skillfully well on an old walk-in impromptu such as is with me! On a Tuesday afternoon return visit the office was quite busy but not bogged down, all 3 of the main professionals had the waiting area Full but not lingering long or any stress anywhere any way. It's a happy satisfying place ! I've had decades same Dentist to the dreadful needing to practically escaping a few to find another to be comfortable with again. I like the Quality going on at Soul Dental, Thank You God for this Blessing!

Fantastic experience: The whole experience was great! My first time there and I’m so glad I found it! Staff are nice, professional, and very knowledgeable. They make you feel very comfortable. I think it was the first time a doctor actually had a conversation with me- usually they just look at your mouth and 30 seconds they are gone. Everything about my visit was positive.

Negative experience: I spent over TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS and again over a thousand. In that a short period of time I became sick and needed many abdominal surgeries. I lived in the hospital more than my home. I had to cancel several appointments because of my health. My health is declining and they knew about all of it. Then after spending another thousand the filling came out and he charged me close to another thousand and wanted another round of xrays which was overkill since I recently had them. Then they discharged me cause I canceled . PLEASE IF YOU HAVE HEALTH ISSUES DONT COME HERE
