Fantastic experience: Dr Mark Beck (my dentist for over 30 years) is a perfectionist artist of a dentist!!! I came in with a pretty bad chip in my front tooth. Within a half hour I left with a gorgeous, smooth and shiny tooth that matched the others! The front desk receptionist, Bri was so sweet and welcoming as I came in at the end of the day. Cindy, the dental assistant was warm, genuine and professional as she assisted Dr Beck in working his magic. As this was a bit of an emergency it was my first time in the Campton Hills/ St Charles office. It was as great as the Glen Ellyn office! Top notch everything!!! Thank you!

I've been to dentists on four continents and this practice is up there with the best. Dr Alzain was brilliant, gentle and did a great job on something I was very worried about.

Fantastic experience: Due to several issues I had 15 months of neglect around oral Healthcare and it had began to start showing up in every day situations. A very deep cleaning was required to start the visit off. Then after about a 5 minute break it was right in to my dentist chair where 2 new problems had come to the surface... no pun intended. A molar with a cracked area to the rear of the tooth was starting to shoe light decay and that was promptly taken care of. Following I had also noticed that I was missing a filling in a molar as well and it was in center deepest part of the tooth... another few minutes and I was all back in updated, like new oral condition. Great painless, friendly service with plenty of great verbal exchanges. Why would anyone want to go anywhere else... I won't. Henry

Dr. Beck took care of it on a Monday , later in the afternoon . I was able to come to an earlier time that day. So far so good! Thank you !

Negative experience: I schedule an appointment for a dental cleaning, I had xrays done, my teeth were polished very lightly, flossed. I was told I would be getting fluoride and I did not. I then waited at least 30 mins for the Doctor, I was the only patient in the office. The doctor checked my teeth and told me I would need to come back for a cleaning with a dental hygienist. I was charged $567 dollars and never had my teeth cleaned. My mother was a dental hygienist aslnd said that is absolutely crazy that I scheduled and appointment for a cleaning did not get a cleaning and was charged that much money. I will not be going back. $500 for nothing, I can brush and floss my own teeth for free.

The staff is very welcoming and professional, our wait times have been extremely short and the cleanings have been quick and painless (well mostly ;) ). Highly recommend them if you are in the general Geneva/St. Charles/Campton Hills/South Elgin area!

He explains what needs to be done and helps you decide what you want to do. The staff is also very friendly. I don't have insurance so it's a little costly for me but well worth it. Negative experience: Be sure to check for any additional charges. This was my first time visiting without my parents, and they hid what was an up charge and misled me about my families new insurance being in-network after I asked if it was. They clearly took advantage of me being a young adult. It's really disappointing, especially since we've been loyal customers for years. This was the final straw for my parents—we're taking our business elsewhere, and you should too.

Fantastic experience: I'm not big on leaving reviews, however I do read them, and know how effective they are. So, I feel the need to leave a review for Family Dental Care. For starters,Gina at the front desk is amazing and knows her job very well and takes care of you like you are family! From scheduling my appointment to working with my insurance she gets a A++ from me. I had the pleasure of having a deep cleaning perfomed by Katie and she was also amazing and knew her job just as well and took extra care and time to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process and understood everything! And then, there is Dr. Beck a.k.a. "the wizard" (in my opinion). He has to be one of the nicest guys out there and is a fantastic dentist. I had wisdom teeth pulled by him and the experience left me with a smile when I was done. Not from relief of pain or anything like that but just from pure joy on how easy, painless, and smooth the whole procedure went. I was in and out in record time and experienced no pain during the removal. At a later date I had 4 cavities filled by Dr. Beck. Once again "the wizard" had me in and out of that chair in no time, leaving with zero pain and a smile on my face. From the minute you walk in the door to the time you leave, the whole experience is delightful. Almost makes want to see the dentist more often. Lol. Couldn't say enough good things about this dental office. 10 stars from me!

Negative experience: I chipped my front tooth and had it fixed by the younger male dentist that works at this office. He didn’t take any x-rays to check how deep the chip was and he filled the tooth very quickly. The filling fell out a few days later and when I went back to get it fixed again the staff was surprisingly rude. They accused me of doing something that made the filling fall out. I explained to them that it just fell out. They acted like I was lying. I wasn’t eating or doing anything. He refilled the tooth. A few hours later the filling fell out again! I had it fixed AGAIN by a dentist at a different practice. They took x-rays, filed the tooth down to even it out, and refilled it. It took them a lot longer to fix it. That was over a year ago and it’s still fixed and looks great. I would definitely not recommend this place.
