Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in I was impressed!! Especially because of how difficult it can be to find a good dentist. It was very clean, modern, and there’s even TV screens on the ceiling for while you get your work done. The doctors and assistants and all were extremely friendly and helpful, super non judgmental, and really took their time to thoroughly explain to me what my situation was. Best dental experience I’ve ever had!!! I highly recommend coming here- ESPECIALLY if you’re someone with lots of dental anxiety!

Negative experience: I was honestly shocked by my experience today because I chose to go to Dixwell Dental for the first time because of the great reviews of Dr. Joshi that I saw on Google Reviews. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day, but I had a really negative experience. I went for a dental exam and cleaning but somehow the entire interaction with Dr. Joshi was just a few minutes long. He barely examined my teeth, did not share the results of my x-ray, and did not inform me of anything wrong with my teeth (even though I know I have cavities that I havent gotten filled before). The cleaning portion truly just didn't happen and when I asked for a spit cup, I was completely ignored by Dr. Joshi and his assistant. Truly astounding to not even respond to a patient who is directly speaking to you? I also currently have cold sores and let them know and yet they were very forceful with the bite wings and I let out a yelp in pain and had to advocate for myself to ask them to change the xray method. The front desk staff (I think his name was Mike?) was super friendly and I have no complaints there. Overall, super dissatisfied and would not be able to recommend Dr. Joshi to others. P.S. For any Gujarati-speaking patients who may be choosing to see him for the language preference, unfortunately he did not address me or respond to me when I tried to speak in Gujarati which is my native and preferred language.

Fantastic experience: Giving 5 stars because Dixwell Dental deserves it! The office is very clean and modern, and the staff is very polite and easy to talk to. I can tell Dr. Ro cares a lot about his patients. He is one of the most kindest, gentlest dentists I've ever had. If you need accommodations of any sort, the team will make sure to ask you beforehand and also during your appointment! Very good bedside manners, and very good at explaining treatment and plans. I would highly recommend checking this office out.

I have an extreme fear of the dentist and was very vulnerable with her about some personal things in my life and there was zero judgement and I felt so safe in her care. The new receptionist Reyna out front was great as well. I will absolutely be referring people here!

Fantastic experience: Very professional and are always honest as to what is going on with my care. I would highly recommend. I have been a patient now for almost 5 years. They give a weeks notice reminder and a couple days before.

Fantastic experience: Only been here twice so far, but i had to come leave a review. Great Dentist. In and out with a cleaning in like 35 minutes. They have a good "bedside manor", and make sure your comfortable the entire time, and answer any questions you have, but they dont try and have small talk with you while they have their hands in your mouth.

Fantastic experience: Been with Dixwell for a year or so now, Dr. Joshi and his assistant have always been very good communicators in my visits and always have a priority to make sure I'm at ease while they work. The facility itself appears very modern to me; they use some tech I hadn't seen at my previous dentists. For example, for a crown I needed, they had an "all in one" tool that very comfortably (in comparison to previous crowns) kept my mouth open while keeping my tongue trapped and vacuuming excess water out. Would heartily recommend this clinic to others!

Fantastic experience: They were honest about my teeth and all the work I need done. I suffer from extreme anxiety but they've been really nice, very helpful with telling me my options and the procedures that my insurance doesn't cover. Offering discounts which I appreciate. I haven't been to a dentist in awhile and they definitely helped me get over being afraid at my first appointment and putting it gently about what is starting to happen and what can happen if left untreated. I recommend coming here if you're like me and the dentist intimidates you. They didn't make me feel embarrassed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently started going here since May for a condition that happened. They took me in the same day and fixed my issue. I went back for a deep cleaning and honestly best decision ever! I’ve suffered from past experiences at other dentists and neglected my teeth for years because of anxiety/past trauma. I’m so happy I went back and look forward to my next appointment to complete my deep cleaning. Everyone is really nice and non judgmental. My dentist makes sure I’m ok all the way through. Super clean office too! Couldn’t recommend them enough!
