Annette, the hygienist is super sweet and stays professional throughout.. She walks you through every step that she will be executing so that you know what to expect and yet still allows you be comfortable.. she shows care and shares her knowledge as well which allows you to understand the before and after the fact.. highly recommend

They work with patience and understanding, without any judgment. She doesn't cry anymore. This is now the only place she'll go to. Highly, highly recommend!

Negative experience: It is 2am and I am in my bed, unable to sleep because of shooting pain I have for the last few weeks since grant dental dentist “fixed” my teeth. On a regular check up I was advised five of my teeth will have to be drilled (I had no pain, I have lovely teeth). Apparently, there were some “dots” in-between my teeth that require over $1800 worth of fix. I made the appointment, trusting my doctor. He gave me anesthesia at around 1:10 pm and started the work some 5-10 min later. Somewhere in the middle of my procedure, as I was in the chair with my mouth wide open, an employee walked in, i could see her on my left side, and said to my dentist that her daughters school called and her daughter is vomiting and her husband can’t pick her up. The dentist replied that she needs to let another person know and then she can leave. When the entire 5 teeth were drilled and filled, less than 45 min passed. I got up and something was off. The doctor left the room and the assistant shushed me out of the room to the reception. I could not speak or answer when she said “you feeling okay” but I didn’t know why. When I sat in my car I saw that my entire right side of my face was frozen. My eye was burning as I couldn’t blink, I called my friend but she couldn’t understand me as I couldn’t speak. I made a video for her, trying to explain what happened and I have that video. It is horrifying. I drove home and nearly had an accident several times as I couldn’t see well as my eye kept burning and I had difficulty swallowing. My right side (eye, ear, throat, cheek, lip, tongue) stayed frozen until the next day. Then the pain came. I couldn’t open my mouth and I couldn’t chew on the right side from the pain. I went back and the dentist said that he “must have hit the nerve” and that “it will go away in a few months”. He felt my jaw and said the muscles are really tight from the nerve damage and offered me two options, one to wait for it to go away on it’s own in a few months and two to give me steroids. He also grind down my teeth, thinking that is what is causing the pain when chewing. They also took an xray and shushed me out without a word about what the xray showed. I went back a week later since the pain wasn’t going away and a different grant dental dentist re-drilled one of the teeth the other dentist “fixed” and said to wait until monday to see of the pain stops and i can chew properly. Well, It’s friday night and the pain is there and it’s not going away. At this point I wonder if there anything wrong with my teeth to begin with or they just like to get money at the end of the year. It is shameful how the dentist and the assistant and the receptions let me leave that day with a frozen face and even more shameful that the dentist was either in a hurry because one the employees was leaving the shift early or he was distracted by her childs vomiting situation (which is a whole other issue- you should train your employees not to speak about their vomiting children in the middle of patients procedure) or he is just a bad dentist. The fact stands that I was in no pain before they decided to “fix” my teeth and I don’t see an end to this pain. And if he damaged my nerve permanently the pain will never go away even if someone does manage to fix my teeth that he botched.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown replacement. There was absolutely no discomfort from getting the novocaine until the end of the procedure. The permanent crown was placed on the original visit I did not have to return to have a temporary replaced with the original crown. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and it was 8 a.m. in the morning! The office filed my claim to my insurance company so the whole procedure was extremely Pleasant and comfortable. I would recommend Grant Dental to anyone looking for excellent dental work. Doctor Chase Trejo has been my dentist for several Crown visits.

Negative experience: I called before my appointment, to make sure Grant Dental accepts our insurance. The lady I spoke with assured me they did. I just received a bill for almost $300, because they don't accept our insurance! It's been almost 3 months! Grant Dental advertises that they are the #1 Dental office in Boise? Who actually voted for you? I know! Your family and friends, that voted & voted & voted.......

Fantastic experience: They are amazing with my child. My boy has a lot of fears. Even sitting in a moving seat is terrifying. They are so patient with him and all of his dental fears are gone. I'd recommend to anyone. But especially a child who's very sensitive and fearful.

Positive experience: Let me tell you something!! I had to get a tooth pulled 0 out of 10 woukd not recommend that. The 3.5 hours in the chair to get it out will also not recommend. However the offices and customer service and staff really go above and beyond. My son had to get a baby tooth pulled and they were really patience with him he has high anxiety and I thought they handled it well. Also a huge plus they are always upfront about payments and will work with you if need be. Picture of my dog cause he is so cute.....

Fantastic experience: I never thought I'd be leaving a 5 star review for a dental practice. Only been to Grant Dental a couple of times, but so far Dr. Wheeler and the rest of the staff have really impressed me. It's clear they know their stuff. They're quick and straight to the point (no product pushing or trying to sell you on unnecessary procedures), non judgmental, and are very good about explaining exactly what's needed and why through 3d imagery and xrays. Nice atmosphere too; it doesn't feel cold, impersonal, and "medical," if that makes sense. I honestly didn't realize a dentist visit could be anything but miserable until I came here. If you're like me and have put off seeing a dentist for too long due to past experiences, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Went in today for tooth pain, thought it was going to have to have it pulled and was very nervous about it. Saw Dr. Morgan and turns out I didn't have to lose the tooth and just had to get a root canal. Procedure was quick and he made sure there was no pain. Couldn't feel a thing! So incredibly happy with how today went. Would DEFINITELY recommend. Already have to numerous people! Thank you for being a great dentist and dental office! ❤️❤️

I’ve had three different dentists work on my teeth since I became a patient here, and they were all fantastic! My experience with Grant was extremely positive. Every member of the staff was engaging kind and most importantly to me, genuine. I also believe the quality of the service (cleaning) that I got was way more comprehensive and informative. Tara was really helpful in giving tips and talking me through certain aspects of gum health that I'd no other office took the time to share with me before. If you have teeth and you're looking for good people with excellent service, this is your spot.

Negative experience: **Update** I spoke to the office manager Tim and he said he was sorry about this situation. *** My whole family (myself, my spouse and our kids) have been going to Drant Dental for almost 10 years. In the last year we started having lots of billing issues with their office. We are covered by two dental insurances, so the billing office would either forget to bill our secondary insurance or would bill for incorrect dental services. I had to call and leave a message 3 different times after getting $1200 bill after my kids treatment appointment asking them to bill our secondary insurance first before charging us for service. Then most recently they ordered 2 mouth guards for my husband: one for teeth grinding and the other one for snoring. He only receive one guard, not both. He can’t wear both guards at the same time lol They billed the insurance incorrectly, very unprofessional billing staff. Now they are saying they will be refunding the insurance for service they didn’t provide to my husband. I am changing the dentist for our whole family at this point. I will not go back to Dr.Grant office any more. Having so many billing issues with their office caused me lots of anxiety and high blood pressure.
