Fantastic experience: Dr. Bird and the staff were kind, efficient, and very clear. I appreciated that they took the time to explain and explore options with me without pushing me into any single choice. Dr. Bird showed me exactly what he was seeing on the X-ray and explained the how and why of several options for treatment. I am an adult with Autism and pretty high anxiety surrounding appointments and dental work but the office made it as smooth of a process as possible. Honestly, I've been to extremely low budgeted clinics and high end dental offices in the past, but Dr. Bird and his staff are top tier (and they do it without adding thousands of dollars to my treatment!)

She was able to answer all my questions and I made an appt. Dr. Bird was very conscientious and discussed my concerns. He wrote up a treatment plan for me. Angelina made a mold of my teeth for a mouth guard. I came back a week later and it fits perfectly. The entire staff here at Bird Dental is fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Had a scheduled appointment for six month cleaning. Moved to Idaho almost two years ago . Takes time to get settled in and “Bird family dental “ was recommended by someone I knew and trusted up in this area. I can’t tell you how amazing I have found Bird family dental! They are fantastic to say the least. I had a dentist in Utah where I came from that I thought was good or excellent but not compared to to my new dentist in Idaho! I have to say I don’t think my teeth have ever been as clean as when they are cleaned at Bird family dental . I’m not much of a conversationalist while at appointments but the staff from reception to checking out are all friendly and make you feel they care about you . During the cleaning the hygienist she paused as the dentist came in to check my teeth to make sure there were no issues and checked my teeth to make sure there wasn’t any surprises then as he was done , he actually thanked me for coming in ! This kind of surprised me to be thanked for coming in for an appointment? Again can’t say enough good things about Bird family dental , I can’t foresee ever going anywhere else ever!

Fantastic experience: I love my dentist! I think that's the best compliment I can give! I'm always perfectly happy with my dental care and I am in excellent dental health. My teeth feel super clean after my regular visits and the cleaning process is always pleasant. Everyone is friendly and easy to talk to. I never have any long waits during my appointments. They're also super accommodating of my requests. For instance, I have recently asked to no longer get annual x-rays and to move from 6-month appointments to annual appointments. Both requests were accepted without question, which was a huge relief! They even remember that I don't want any take-home plastic dental care items since I prefer to use my own eco-friendly ones. They've got a life-long patient in me!

The hygienist I've been using is awesome -- does a great job cleaning but is gentle on my teeth. She has good tips for me. Dr Bird is knowledgeable and friendly. I had Invisalign treatment done here too and it straightened out my teeth perfectly.

The staff is patient and kind, always flexible with my crazy work schedule. Negative experience: *UPDATE October 2024* I've seen three other Dentist since this visit and they all have said I have no cavities ** I had a cleaning with Bird Family Dental in the Summer of '22. I went in for X-rays and a normal cleaning. After the doctor examined X-rays he told me I had a cavity on one of my back molars. I was somewhat astonished by this as my mother has been in the dental field since I was a very little kid, I've always gone to her practices. I've never had a cavity or really any dental issues besides breaking my teeth from sports / recreation. So I asked him "Are you sure, I've never had a cavity in my entire life." Having a mother in the dental industry has made for healthy habits with my oral health. He kind of was argumentative when I brought up the fact that I still have sealants but I didn't press the issue. At the end of the appointment the lady at the front desk asked if I wanted to reschedule to get my cavity filled. I asked how much and it was in the ballpark of $400. I was so shocked that I may have a cavity that I asked for my Xray charts to be sent over to me via email. I sent them to other DDS' in the valley and they agreed that I DO NOT have any inclusions or cavities. Just got done with another cleaning at another practice and they got more pano X-rays and single shots and reaffirmed that I DO NOT have any inclusions or cavities. Very disappointed that Bird Family Dental tries to get money out of patients for work or procedures that are not required. Family Dentistry should be transparent. These guys are not.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown that fell off when chewing something I shouldn't have, because I saved everything but the nail, I didn't need a new crown, Dr. Bird's office was able to take me in within a couple of hours, they're my heroes. (7/29/2024 update) We've been going to Bird Family Dental for over a year since we relocated here. The office is very conveniently located, very clean and pleasant, the staffs are warm and professional. We lucked out in just finding a dental office nearby!

Fantastic experience: I and my family, including my 5 and 9 year old boys, go to Bird Family Dental. I absolutely recommend them! The office staff is beyond friendly and helpful in every way. The assistants carry that same experience back to the dental chair, and combine professional expertise. They deal with my youngest with ease, making him at ease while working. Finally, Dr Bird has demonstrated great skill, filling multiple cavities for my youngest on repeated visits. I'm very happy to have come to their office, and recommend hands down!
