Negative experience: In my opinion it is overpriced place. I don't have insurance, ask how much cost exam+exray - will be 144$, total, no surprised bill, tell me on front desk. When I just sit in the chair, assistant corrected price 144 for 1 exray picture, only one side -where is i feel problem. Full exray 344$. But if you sing up some their plane - you got discount, 299 total. I don't like that playing with price!!!! What expect after exams - surprise bill? I stand up, and left office.

Negative experience: The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The hygienist however, was very insensitive and unprofessional. The doctor was not helpful and went against my wishes, my guess is to try and get more money. I will never go back. Do not recommend.

I’ve had some not-so-great experiences at other dental offices, so I usually go in a little nervous—but this was a completely different vibe. From the start, everyone was so kind and welcoming, and Dr. Glaus really stood out. He’s not only super professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely compassionate, which you don’t always find. He took his time, explained everything in a way that made sense, and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. It’s such a relief to finally find a dentist I actually trust and don’t dread going to. If you’ve ever had a bad dental experience, I seriously recommend coming here—you’ll feel taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding dentist. Dr Glaus has a great demeanor, great attitude, gave me great advice. Scheduled me for the next day! Couldn't even feel the Novocaine shot. Dental assistant is knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and is cuter than hell. Staff is friendly and very professional. Highly recommend.

My appointment was made immediately and when I arrived I was greeted by some very friendly receptionist. Very shortly after I was welcomed by the assistant and my procedure was quick, painless and professional. 5 Starts well earned!

On Sept. 24, 2025 we received notice that they would be moving addresses: We have some exciting news to share with you! Towne Square Dental South will soon be moving to a new home — and joining forces with our friends at Towne Square Dental.New Location: 8660 W Emerald St #152 Boise, ID 83704Though our address is changing, one thing remains the same: you’ll continue to receive the same great care, with the same trusted team, and the same dedication to your smile.By combining our practices, we’re able to bring you even more convenience, improved services, and a bigger, brighter dental family — all under one roof. What this means for you: You’ll see the same friendly faces you know and trust. You’ll continue to experience the high-quality care we’re known for. You’ll now have access to expanded services and a larger support team. Well that "same great care with even more convenience, improved services and high quality care they are known for" is a lie. We had an appointment already set for February 2026. We get a call/text that the appt. needs to be rescheduled, Okay so we rescheduled, then the day of the rescheduled appt. we get a call/text that we need to reschedule AGAIN. Seems "Candace" had rescheduled us for Saturday and they ABSOLUTELY DON'T ACCEPT MEDICAID CLIENTS ON SATURDAYS! Discriminate much ? Oh sorry, YOU PEOPLE have to take what we will allow you.  The main reason we went with TowneSquare Dental South was BECAUSE they had Saturday appointments. Not our fault you changed addresses and combined with another practice. If anything, our appt. should have been grandfathered in for this appt. but we were refused. This was to be the last appt. there as she will be off to college for the Fall. If you are in to being discriminated against because you are covered by medicaid, then this is the place for you. They cater to those who have more advantages in life. If that's you, well congratulations. You can have Saturday appt.s so your children with more advantages won't have to miss any school. Ridiculous decision to combine practices with a practice that caters those more advantages in this life.

Fantastic experience: So happy I found them on Google. Called on a Saturday Morning and got in same day. I was having severe tooth pain and Dr Glaus pulled it. That was a little over a year ago and since then they have been my go to dentist. Thank You!!

I have periodontal disease and came in with a mouth that hadn’t seen a dentist in 10 years I was so embarrassed with how my teeth and mouth felt and smelled they really gave me the confidence to smile again. I have a permanent retainer behind my bottom front teeth and it always feels rough right after a cleaning but not now. It’s as smooth and clean as it was when it was first put in and all my teeth feel just as clean. Thank you so much Paige!! I will always always ask for you to clean my teeth!! I also want to say how friendly and courteous the office staff were which made my whole experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend this dental office and especially Paige.

Negative experience: My experience with this dental office was defined by a clear lack of professionalism, primarily from the staff member named Jennifer. Her manner was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily abrupt, setting a negative tone from the start. Instead of respectful communication, I was met with an attitude that suggested patients are treated as inconveniences rather than people. Jennifer made no effort to be courteous or helpful, and her behavior reflected poorly on the entire practice. Professionalism and basic respect should be non-negotiable in a healthcare setting. Unfortunately, this office failed in that regard. Based on this interaction, I would not recommend this dental office to anyone expecting respectful and professional treatment.

Fantastic experience: I called their office on a Friday at 10 a.m. due to a broken tooth and being in the worst pain I have ever felt. They got me in at 11:30 the same day and immediately treated my pain by getting me numb, taking some x-rays and letting me know the best way to handle my tooth issue. My molar had to be removed and I did not feel any pain or discomfort through the entire extraction. Dr. Glaus made sure I was comfortable the entire time and I really appreciated the care the entire staff showed while I was at my appointment. The best experience I have had with any dentist. Fantastic experience: Dr.Claus I believe was my daughters doctor today ! He was amazing with her. He was so careful with her because of what she was going through. For 3 weeks she has had hard time sleeping and she was in one of those pain situations where she was sensitive to the touch. His Assistant Student was also very respectable and expressed sincere care. Young lady who was there as well was an amazing educator instructing the help the students for the doctor. Absolutely an unforgettable and most professional experience by Dr. Claus. He was so careful with her and constantly communicated with her. We can I’m not knowing if we will be able to do anything but he saw that the kid was in extreme pain! He juggled multiple tasks and completed the root canal. I wish you see the smile on her face. Thank you Dr. Claus for everything and for showing sincere care.

I have very high anxiety when it comes to the dentist's chair and have not had what I would call a pleasant experience until today. The level of professionalism is impressive and the entire experience was as close to painless as I could have hoped for. I was made to feel comfortable and informed every step of the way and a text this evening to make sure I was doing okay was a welcome surprise. Such a relief to find a dentist and staff that really puts the patient first.

Fantastic experience: I've only had three visits for one issue here, but Dr. Glaus and the entire team have made a lifetime patient out of me. The entire crown process was painless, the staff is gentle and careful, and while my mouth would have given them many reasons to show disapproval or judgment, they didn't show any at all. I highly recommend this office! Update as of February 2024: still five stars. Yesterday, Dr. Glaus extracted a broken tooth and inserted a bone graft, among other things. You know - things that require instruments of torture followed by stitches. Pain was only minimal after the anesthesia wore off. I woke up the day after the procedure with no pain whatsoever. Not even the tiniest reminder of what was done the day before. As far as I know I'm not a mutant of any kind, so this must be a testament to the skill employed by Dr. Glaus and his assistant yesterday.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation Friday night and Towne Square Dental was the only office open over the weekends that could take me. I called as soon as they opened on Saturday and they fit in me 30 min later. Dr. Glaus was very patient with me as he told me my options. He answered all questions I had and did not rush me to make a very big decision. I'm glad he was my dentist through this emergency situation.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing. They actually take the time and care for their patients. They also do really well with kids.

Negative experience: I recently went into the dentist and had bath tooth pain, Dr. Glaus said it’s probably a sinus infection which I felt differently. Dr. Glaus didn’t take the time to be thorough and told me he doesn’t know what I want him to do. He then told me to go somewhere else and gave me a referral. I ended up having to go the entire holiday weekend in severe pain, I went to a new dentist today that took the time to check my teeth and find the problem. I ended up having a huge infection in my K9 tooth that left me with a fever and vomitting thanks to Dr. Glaus not wanting to take the time to help me, even though I have been coming to town square for years. Overall my new dentist performed a root canal and treated my infection with antibiotics, something Dr. Glaus should have done. Not to mention all my fillings have failed in 2-3 years and are discolored or cause me pain. Needless to say I won’t be returning and advise others to look elsewhere if you want a quality and care.

Fantastic experience: Called to set up an appointment thinking it would take weeks to get in because I thought I had a huge cavity. They got me in that week, fixed the cavity same day, which surprised me because all the dentist prior would either reschedule another day to fix the cavity or send me to another dentist to fix it. Zero pain, will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal (ESPECIALLY after my previous dentist) Reason for visit: filling had fallen out 1, They got me in ASAP. They would have even had me in same day if I could have left work! 2, They actually listened and believed me as to what happened 3, I never felt talked down to while I was there. They were respectful, and their questions & their discussions of care were both thorough and concise/to the point. 4, no ridiculous upselling for any extra or unnecessary services 5, the quality of the procedure and work were fantastic, fillings felt/feel noticeably better than previous work I had done TLDR - Great and to the point service with actual patient respect

Fantastic experience: It was as pleasant as possible for a visit to the dentist. All the staff including the receptionist, hygienist and doctor are always pleasant and caring. They always explain any procedure and give you a written estimate before providing the service. Minimal discomfort during and after fillings.

Negative experience: Jennifer the receptionist was very rude to me. My mcna coverage has been assigned to them since 2021 and she tells me I need to find some place else because they don’t cover adults over 19. Never once asked my age. Glad I won’t be going here again.

Negative experience: The receptionists are generally very rude and pushy especially through text. The dentist himself was pretty awesome. Though that all gets erased after our encounter today. The hygienist said she’d do X-rays in a way to not gag or discomfort my 8 year old, she then switched jobs with another staff member who came in and did the exact opposite of what was asked. Then she came back to do the cleaning. My Son was getting anxious and I told him he needs to chill and relax it’s not that big of a deal. He wants to hold my hand. The hygienist then forces me to leave the room because he’s still upset. While sitting in the waiting room I hear him scream multiple times. Owe owe owe. After two I told myself if I even heard him again, I will be returning to the room to check. Shortly after she comes back out to tell me how well he did without me in the room. I tell her I know that’s untrue because I can hear him screaming. She proceeded to tell me in the most condescending Way that if you want to comfort a child, you need to put your hand on their stomach. I told her that my child doesn’t like being touched by strangers you probably just put him into anxiety shock. I then ask her if I can see him now and she said ok but when the dentist comes you’re leaving. I come to the room and see my Sons face has the indents of the sunglasses heavy in his skin and he’s shaking and breathing hard. I tell her we want to go now and she says we have to wait for the dentist. I reminded her that this was just for a cleaning and we have a referral to A specialist for children. She tells me we have to see the dentist and I will have to leave the room when that happens. I told her I did not want to leave the room again. I didn’t like that I can hear him screaming and now the imprint of the sunglasses Pressed in to his face. She tells me either I can leave the room or find another dentist. So I grab my son’s hand and said it looks like we’re leaving the room. I won’t be returning and you guys should probably fire this old woman who still thinks in 2023 physical abuse on a child is ok.

My next appointment is next week already rather then months apart like other dentistries, I aint got no insurance, the recipient offered me few options to work with my financial situation and it worked! We received a prescription, and an explanation as to the probelm we had. Then we were given a referral. We're very grateful for their work.
