Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted warmly. My hygienist, Tara, was wonderful and did everything she could to make my visit feel relaxed and comfortable. I was definitely nervous going in, but Dr. Landree took the time to talk through everything, explain what was happening, and make sure I felt comfortable. I truly appreciated the care and reassurance from the whole team. I left feeling much less nervous than when I arrived.

Negative experience: They have made multiple errors in less than the 1 year my husband and myself have been going there including incorrect and inaccurate estimates to scheduling me for appointments with a reason other than what I called to schedule it for. Arriving for my appointment and being told there was a mistake in communication and they couldn't do my appointment anymore because someone on their end made an error in how the appointment was set was unprofessional and upsetting after you wait weeks for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t gone to the dentist in 11 years. Everyone was super friendly and I didn’t feel judged at all for waiting so long to go to the dentist. Luckily, they found 0 cavities and even my wisdom teeth came in straight and I don’t need them removed. I just need a simple cleaning. I’ve heard a lot of people say dentists can take advantage of people especially people who haven’t been to the dentist in so long, and that’s definitely not the case here. I will definitely continue to go here and hopefully bring my son here as well.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best place to go for any of your dental needs if I could I would give them 10 stars. The lady at the front desk is amazingly friendly. The staff and Dr. Schmidt who did my procedure were beyond phenomenal. I will never go anywhere else for my dental needs. If you are somebody who has high anxiety and is scared of the dentist this is the place to go they truly do everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Fantastic experience: This place was an unexpected surprise, in every way! Everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive. From reception to checkout it’s an easy experience. If getting your teeth cleaned or poked or prodded makes you nervous.. try this place. My hygienist Alyssa did the most thorough yet gentle and careful cleaning I have ever had. (Don’t tell my dental hygienist friends) Dr. Schmidt answered all my questions and made no attempt to rush the visit or upsell any service. I’m 43 years old and have never had such a pleasant experience at a dentist. Whatever they’re doing with their staff it’s working. Do yourself a favor and try this place, you’ll go back.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say thank you to Heather and Dr Schmidt for taking such good care of me and understanding that I was terrified and not making me do anything I wasn’t ready to do! They really made me feel at home and comfortable with each step. I would also like to thank Ellie and Dr Landree for seeing my Grandson Sheppard. They cared about him and took great care of him during his visit. It was his first visit without me sitting right there because I was being seen at the same time. This team is awesome!

Fantastic experience: Five stars for Dental Studio 920! I started coming here because my fiancé had such a great experience after years of dental trauma. When I first called I didn't even have insurance and was drowning under a 4,000 dollar estimate. I called eight different dental colleges but none could help me or beat that price. The girl at the front desk was a lifesaver and by just asking if I had Humana?... Because of her help I got a Humana plan and my total cost for the entire year including my premium and deductible is only 1,500 dollars! ​The experience has been amazing. The girl who did my cleaning was so helpful and the professional who did my front tooth filling was amazing. Honestly I think getting a regular shot in your arm is way worse than the shots here! The topical gel helps and the first shot makes it so you can't even feel the second one. The guy who did my extractions was incredibly fast. If I counted Mississippi style the tooth was out by the time I got to 5 or 10! This is the only team we trust in our household! After she filed my front tooth down I 100% looked like Mater from Cars or Courage the Cowardly Dog but they rebuilt it perfectly! Now we can happily get married thanks to this Dental Studio and I mean that!

Negative experience: Maybe their dental work really is amazing, but the lack of communication and bait-and-switch advertising are a completely different story. As a Web Architect, I genuinely appreciated that they offered an online scheduling option—that was a major plus and part of why I chose them. Their website is clean, user-friendly, and easy to navigate. Honestly, that’s the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars. After seeing all the glowing reviews, I booked an appointment. Their promo clearly states new patients pay $129, which includes the exam, x-ray, and cleaning. Simple. I was fully prepared to pay that out-of-pocket. But after waiting SIX MONTHS, they suddenly text me less than an hour before my appointment saying I now must pay $153 for a panoramic x-ray. Otherwise, I need to track down my old panoramic records from five years ago. All because my insurance wouldn’t cover a new one. Policies are policies, but why am I hearing this at the very last minute? And how does a $129 special suddenly inflate to $153 with zero explanation? I texted back immediately for clarity and then called, because at that point I wasn’t even sure if I should go. The receptionist claimed they “just ran my insurance recently” and “didn’t know” until then. Right. Makes total sense to wait half a year to verify a new patient’s insurance. Very professional. Then she kept insisting I contact my old dentist myself because they “usually can get records immediately with a signed consent.” So why didn’t they request the records months ago? Why advertise a promo that includes an exam, x-ray, and a cleaning if you’re going to change the cost an hour before the appointment? She wanted me calling my previous dentist at 8 AM to fix something caused entirely by their own lack of preparation. No. That’s not my job. Then she added the best part: If I canceled and rescheduled, the next available appointment would be July 2026. That alone told me everything—they have more clients than they can handle, and new patients clearly aren’t a priority. So yes, I canceled. If they can’t coordinate getting records in six months, can’t honor their own new-patient promo, and only communicate changes at the last minute, I can only imagine what else they’d change once I was actually in the chair. They may have great reviews, but the communication is disappointing, and I’m not falling for the bait-and-switch. I’m not sharing this to be petty. I'm just giving others a heads-up so you don’t waste six months and end up with the same frustration. UPDATE: 12/02/25 Saying “cannot be used with insurance” is not the same as “only for people without insurance.” Those are two very different statements. If I'm unable to use my insurance, it's natural for me to assume I qualify for the promo. The wording is misleading, period. Also, despite what they claim, I was never contacted—not once—in six months about needing old x-rays, signing a release, or sending anything over. The only thing I got was a generic appointment confirmation text a week before, in which I exciting reply with “C” to confirm. And let me be clear—I’m not ignorant. I fully understand that dental offices can’t just grab someone’s x-ray records without consent. My issue is that I was led for SIX months to believe I was going in as a new patient and nothing else was required. If they actually needed my old records and didn’t have them, the bare minimum would’ve been to contact me at least 24 hours ahead, not less than an hour before my appointment and giving me the ultimatum of (1) track down your five-year-old x-rays at 8AM in the morning, or (2) pay $153. Six months of silence, then a morning-of scramble. Not cool, and not my job to run around like a chicken with her head chopped off. I’m not upset; I’m just making sure future patients know what to expect so they’re not blindsided like I was. The experience felt like a bait-and-switch to me, and I’m allowed to say that. And honestly, if what I said wasn’t true, their response wouldn’t be so long, patronizing, and filled with exclamation marks.

Fantastic experience: Five stars across the board!! Bonnie, Emma and Dr. Schmidt were all excellent. Entire staff goes above and beyond to make your visit easy and stress free. Would recommend them 100%.

Negative experience: The staff was fine treated me in a professional manner. But Yes I came out of there more discourage than other places I have been. I felt that the doctor did not have so much experience. Even though they did not take X-rays there because I took X-rays from a few weeks ago. They did not made me a discount. They charged me the full payment. A place that I had to stand in the waiting room because I was afraid that the chair might break. I felt it discriminated for my size. I came out of there feeling awful.

Fantastic experience: I was so happy with my experience as a new customer. When it comes to the dentist, I have horrible anxiety and honestly I try to avoid going at all. But when I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everybody was so nice. My hygienist Alyssa had a smile on her face when she greeted me, and she asked me questions to get to know about me and my family. She took her time, explained everything to me, and made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. She even offered a pillow and a blanket! It was the first time I was actually able to relax in the dental chair. Dr. Schmitt was amazing as well! He took his time and explained everything he was doing and why. I’m so glad I made the switch!

Fantastic experience: I had not gone to the dentist in all of my 20 years of living due to financial difficulties and was very scared of going to the dentist thinking that all my teeth were messed up. Dental Studio 920 made the whole appointment feel so relaxing with weighted blankets and my favorite music. They talked me through all my options and treated me so kindly. They always make sure to let you know if there are any cancellations to get you in as soon as possible for your convenience. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with them because they will make you feel so comfortable and answer all your questions. All this time worrying for nothing! Easy fixes with no pain or anxiety.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. Amazing experiences. From the moment you walk in you're greeted by such friendly staff. I had a treatment plan but I had to change it last min and they helped with everything. I am so nervous to go to the dentist and I just feel great when I am there. I don't feel like a patient if that makes sense and they help with all those feelings of anxiety. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else. I just got three teeth pulled today and I feel just fine a little sore.

Negative experience: I had a cavity filled and I had pain after, when I asked what was wrong they couldn't tell me anything and the next solution was to "try a root canal" that's a pretty expensive thing to see if it works. Also I signed up for the year insurance with them including 2 cleanings, and I missed the second appointment due to being hospitalized. They definitely did not honor the other cleaning because it expired, so much fun almost getting killed and then someone says you missed your appointment so we're keeping your money

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. From the minute I walked in the door Bonnie greeted me with a warm smile and eased my anxiety. I was to have a double implant. Amanda assisted Dr Schmidt and she was amazing. In my opinion she went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Dr Schmidt explained everything he was going to do and took the time during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and doing well. Did I mention that this was an almost pain free experience? If I ever need to have an implant done in the future, this is the team I want doing it.

Our three young kids felt right at home and the staff helped keep them busy in-between appointments (as a mom there solo, it meant so much!). Dr. Schmidt and Heather caught some important dental concerns in our child that has been missed for years. 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: Best dental clinic I've ever been to. I had my wisdom tooth removed here, and everything from scheduling, to the pre surgery examination, to the procedure itself was grade A+. Everyone is kind and gracious, the desk staff, the dental assistants, and the doctors are all fantastic. I've avoided dentists for too long because honestly I think a lot of other dental places are greedy, and they lose patients who are willing to pay what they can for good work. Here they charged me fairly, and that makes all the difference. 10/10, can't recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, assistants were knowledgeable and compassionate, especially to me who had a massive phobia of dentists. Dr. Sam was amazing, explained everything he was doing, tried his best to keep me comfortable and was sympathetic to my fears. Will definitely be a patient from now on. Well worth the drive from Appleton.

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental experiences ever. Everyone was so friendly from walking in the front door to walking out. The cleaning was pain free and overall a fantastic experience. My uncle was my dentist growing up so he is my fave dentist but Dental Studio 920 comes in second.
