Fantastic experience: Im seeing this dentists office for 3 to 4 yrs now . Theyre great. Dr McAfee and my hygienist Annie have taken great care of my dental hygiene over the year. The support staff are all very professional and courteous. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk into this office, you can feel the carrying atmosphere. I have a beautiful smile thanks to the crowns that were built within the office. Dr. McAFfee is not only thorough but empathetic. He cares beyond the teeth and gums, for the whole person. As a nurse, I appreciate the holistic approach and belief. My health and longevity are increased with the observant care of periodontal disease. Every staff member is especially kind and they provide excellent teaching in dental details. That’s perfect

Fantastic experience: If I could put 10 stars I would. DOCTOR BIKHAZI & YVETTE are an absolute power duo. I had to get a gum graft for my receding gums. I was nervous for the procedure, but both Dr. Bikhazi and Yvette were so kind and encouraging. The worst part was getting the numbing shots, but while Dr. Bikhazi was doing the shots she was telling me “you’re doing so well!” “I’m almost done!” And at the same time Yvette was tapping and squeezing my arm to distract me. Yvette was also so encouraging. I legitimately want to tear up just thinking about it I am so lucky to have found and been treated by the absolute GOLD STANDARD. I felt heard, Yvette did so well at distracting and comforting me, Dr. Bikhazi explained every little thing about the procedure & ensured I felt good about it, they worked so quickly and efficiently, I felt no pain during the procedure. It was just amazing to be treated by medical professionals who you can tell really care about their work & their patients. I usually hate going to the dentist/periodontist, but now I get excited for my appointments because they are so nice, funny, and personable! Absolute heros!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you are looking for a Periodontist, look no further. YOU HAVE TO SEE DR. BIKHAZI. You can thank me later!!

Fantastic experience: Everybody was absolutely amazing! Dr. Moss was not only kind and thorough when helping to figure out a plan for my extensive dental work, but he made sure I was informed with options and sensitive to my needs and situation. Syd, the office manager I believe, was such an advocate for me and she worked with the other great front office caregivers to help ensure I could get the necessary procedures done. The dental hygienist was amazing and kind and kept me informed as she did the extensive cleaning. The dental assistant was so helpful and personable. I am very impressed with everyone that helped me. Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for two years and have always had a great experience. At my last visit, Dr. McAffee was unexpectedly running behind, and Ali and Dr. Burgoyne stepped in to keep everything on track. Dr. Burgoyne made me feel at ease, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed. Ali was an absolute hoot. We somehow managed to laugh our way through a dental cleaning, which is saying something! I also really appreciate the upfront pricing and how genuinely friendly everyone in the office is. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: This is dentistry form a big company. They have the technology to do things like custom make a crown on premisis or track your gum depth over time, but you are a product and they will get you through the process in the most efficient way possible. They take my insurance, which is honestly the most important thing once basic competency is covered

Fantastic experience: Dentists of South Jordan provides excellent care at every opportunity. They are great at keeping space on their schedule to accommodate emergency appointments, and have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to take care of my dental needs. Their care coordinators are helpful at letting patients know what costs will be, assistants are friendly, and Dr McAffee is knowledgeable, thorough and gentle. They are always quick to take patients back, and provide timely and efficient treatment. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE. I got a root canal and they kept trying to upsell me while under stress and pain. Then 2 years later the more expensive crown chipped in half. They are a scam.

Fantastic experience: Looking for professional expertise with a dentist who truly cares about his patients Dr. Mcafee is the best there is. Need flexibility with a busy schedule, just ask. I have had painful dentistry in the past and thought that was just how it has to be they have shown there is a way to be at ease in the chair. I especially like that my kids can get braces done while having my checkup all at the same time and place.

Fantastic experience: I found out I needed a root canal this morning and I needed to get same day treatment because it was the last day on my dental insurance, and the endodontist was unavailable. doctor Mcaffee did the root canal and crown himself, and honestly it was an excellent experience. So grateful for the team here, and for what a fantastic job they did! I will definitely be returning.

Love that if I need to see my dentist and he's not available there is always a great backup. Not exactly my favorite place to go, though sure is nice to have it when needed. This last week I went in after a crown had broken. They replaced it at no cost - thank you!

Positive experience: The dentist is a lovely person, however you can just tell that this practice is owned by a private equity firm. The way they try and upsell every thing is off putting. I went for two separate things and each time was told I should actually do a more expensive thing. I had to wait a long time both times I went in and the second time went for a cleaning and didn’t even get a cleaning because he wanted me to do some more expensive invasive cleaning. At that point I just went back to my old dentist because I didn’t trust it and was reassured I actually didn’t need what he said. Lovely nice people, listened to my dental anxiety issues, but wasn’t for me.

Fantastic experience: I called late last week to look into getting a root canal I've been putting off and they fit me in early this week. The root canal and filling was done in under an hour. Very impressive!

Negative experience: For years, I went to this location and had excellent service and experience. There was never any issue with breaking up payment total into 3-6 payments. "No problem, let's get those scheduled." After the Dentists of Riverton location opened I transferred to that office because it is close to where I live. I had the exact same excellent service and payment options for several more years. Up until a recent dentist's work forced them to close doors for a short time. I went back to Dentists of South Jordan in the mean time. I unfortunately have had to have a LOT of dental work in my life and from past experience I thought I knew I was going back to good hands. Something has obviously changed with this location. Now in order to break up a payment, they force you provide a SSN and perform a "hard credit check" on you. Along with that, when I expressed my obvious concerns of the change. I was simply met with a rude, callus receptionist (or whatever your job is) with no care in the world for the customer and gave the attitude of "it's our way or the highway". I'm not about to go through a hard credit check every time I need dental work. Which unfortunately for my soft teeth, is rather often. If this truly is the way of this office now. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Had a normal cleaning scheduled with Mckell, who is always great. I have been having some nerve pain and haven’t been able to figure out what is going on. They just wanted to rule out that it was a tooth problem so Dr. Mcaffee made time and ran some test to rule out certain things. I didn’t have an appointment for that and they made time to help me out. I am very appreciative as I haven’t had much luck with other drs. So thank you Mckell and Dr Mcaffee.

Ani always makes me feel like family from the moment I walk in. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, suggests the best treatments, and is always mindful of recommending what’s both effective and affordable. She genuinely cares about keeping my gums healthy and always shares the most practical tips to maintain them in the best condition. On top of that, Ani and I always end up chatting about our latest travels. We share stories from trips we’ve taken recently, and I actually look forward to my next visit just so I can tell her about my adventures — or hear about hers! It’s rare to find a dental professional who is not only so skilled, but also so genuinely engaging and personable.

Fantastic experience: In regards to the entire appointment from start to finish the experience was comfortable and the entire staff did what they could to insure I had the best experience possible.

Negative experience: Beware of the 'hidden' costs at Dentists of South Jordan and Orthodontics. My husband was quoted $900 for dental work, only to be told at the front desk that the quote was 'missing items' and the real total was over $4,000. He walked out $600 short just for a cleaning he thought was covered. It’s one thing to pay for dental work; it’s another to be misled and then charged 4x the estimate at the register. Extremely disappointed and feeling scammed.
