Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at this office for over a year and used to come regularly every 4–5 months for routine cleanings, based on the schedule recommended by the previous doctor and staff. Everything was always fine with the former team. Recently, the company was sold and, apparently, the entire medical staff was replaced. When I came in yesterday for my regular cleaning, instead of simply providing the treatment I had consistently received for over a year, they immediately started pushing additional treatments, X-rays, and telling me I suddenly have gum disease that “must” be treated. I was even told that if I don’t agree to the expensive treatments, they will no longer accept me as a patient. The entire experience felt extremely aggressive and sales-driven rather than focused on actual patient care. Honestly, it felt like fear tactics were being used to pressure patients into paying very high amounts for unnecessary procedures. In addition, the experience did not feel professional at all. The hygienist injured my gums in an extremely aggressive way during the cleaning, to the point that blood clots were coming out of my gums because of how rough the treatment was. It’s important for me to mention that my teeth are very healthy, and I have consistently taken care of them and invested in my dental health my entire life. Very disappointing experience. I personally would not recommend this place. Please be careful and get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive dental treatments with them.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Sandy the receptionist and we had a lovely conversation. Odean did my cleaning (she is literally the best) I make sure to always request her! She makes me feel so comfortable and explains everything she is doing/ways to improve my oral health. I look forward to visiting again!

Negative experience: Disheartening Experience with Unprofessional Staff named ‘Sandy’ I recently had an unfortunate experience at Dental Designs of Plantation that I feel compelled to share. While I have generally appreciated the services offered at this office for more than 8 years, my encounter with a newly staff member has left me deeply disappointed and concerned about their professional standards. For other medical reasons I had to cancel my dental appointment, I placed a call which led to a shocking reaction from one of the newly staff members. This individual treated me with blatant disrespect, particularly towards my identity as a person of color. Instead of understanding my situation, she threatened to disclose my personal information and made comments that were both intimidating and inappropriate. She said, “let me not say more because I want to keep my job,” which only added to my discomfort. Following this incident, I reported her behavior in hopes of addressing the issue. However, I was met with further disappointment when I was informed by her colleague that I would no longer be welcome at this office and would need to seek care at another facility over an hour away. Such behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, and it raises serious concerns about how patients are treated at this office. I hope that the management takes this issue seriously and ensures that all staff members uphold a standard of respect and professionalism. I urge potential patients to consider this experience when choosing their dental care provider. My family and friends have already decided to change dental practices. Sadly

Positive experience: Great staff and very attentive to making you feel comfortable, been going there for around 13-14 years. The hygienist who always takes care of me is amazing. One thing I will say as I told them about the phones as everytime you call there and hit the prompts it disconnects you and I have let them know for over 4 months that this is happening and yesterday I played it right in front of them and it disconnected. Not sure why it takes months and months to address a phone situation as I am in a business where it’s the lifeblood of our business. Who knows how many clients they are probably losing as this has been ongoing for months and months. Maybe know one cares. They even told me yesterday after I said that they had 2 missed calls. How many calls has this place missed? 100’s My hygienist was amazing and always 5 stars but the business model has defineltly changed over the years and past dentists.

Negative experience: I went to see my dentist for a small chip on an otherwise healthy tooth after having braces. I was told that I needed a crown, and I trusted that recommendation. However, the treatment unexpectedly escalated into a root canal, leaving me with a bill of $1,700. I was not properly informed that this outcome was a possibility, nor was the cost clearly explained in advance. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially given that the tooth was healthy before treatment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: The Front Desk staff was absolutely lovely, super sweet and nice, but the Dentist upon speaking to me was EXTREMELY rude. I was told the previous year that my cavities would be fully covered based on my insurance, this year it's only 60%, cool! But upon showing my confusion, he immediately responded "Yeah well Benefits change every year" then walked away and muttered under his breath "Good luck with that" with a scoff. Me and the receptionist looked at eachother for a moment after he left, and she had to awkwardly laugh off his rudeness and apologize on his behalf. I wouldve had no problem paying the remaining costs of what was needed to repair my teeth but that was off putting to say the least and most definitely not the customer service, nor type of response you want to receive from somebody that's going to be working on your mouth. I won't be returning to finish my treatment after this experience.

It is inviting and beautiful I love that they speak Spanish plus you can tell they use the latest technology. I haven’t had the greatest experience at another offices in NY so to be able to come here and be at ease immediately is a big deal for me.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a consult on new dentures to fit with my existing implants. After a few fittings, I received my teeth and they look great. Now the adjusting process... but the team are absolutely wonderful and you are always received with a smile. They truly are dedicated to giving you a beautiful smile.

Negative experience: Poor management.Ive been loyal customer since Dr. Weiss worked there. I was very happy until last month since they are going" through changes ".They were very unprofessional in handling my upcoming cleaning appointment. I called to confirm before the deadline and they had already remover my appointment from the. system .Not helpful at all

Since the moment you enter everyone is super friendly, professional and nice. The doctor listens to your concerns and finds solutions to your questions and even better, I got my cleaning done on the first visit which is by far the most amazing cleaning I have ever gotten in my life. Melissa is incredible, I should have taken before and after shots, I feel brand new! She left my teeth pearly white one more time, no more yucky stains! If you are looking for a dentist office, I recommend this place. It was great!

Fantastic experience: Dr John is simply the best!!! In all aspects. He knows his dentistry, having multiple dentists in last 15 years, i cringe at dental appt. When he injects me u cant even feel it, even under pallet which is worst ever. His bedside manor is gentle and playful to get your mind into a positive state. His asst Faisal, again the sweetest most gentle caring and accommodating. I wish i would have know about Dr John Sarris earlier on. Even while I was running late, they were patient with me, took the time to explain everything and gave off a very friendly and happy energy. They're also very careful and considerate when it comes to the finances as well. Also, its always been a struggle to find a dental office open on Saturdays - found one! 10/10 recommend.

I hardly felt a thing when it was pulled out!
