Negative experience: My experience here wasn’t a great one, mostly because some of the staff members were rude to me. Being treated with kindness and respect means a lot to me, especially since I’m a customer who always puts in an effort to do the same.

Fantastic experience: This was such a kind and patient staff despite my nervousness to get braces! I am still quite nervous about them despite it being over a month now and they continue to radiate supportiveness and kindness. I really love the vibe and aesthetics of their company, as well. Very good crew.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this office are amazing. I first came here for my son's braces since it is a participating provider with my insurance. Making appointments is so easy and we never wait too long. They created a payment plan to make the out of pocket cost bearable. Just recently I decided that it was time to take care of MY smile, so I made an appointment for invisaline. I got the same kind treatment as the kids who are patients here. Dr. Mark explained everything to me and I am now started on my own orthodontic journey!

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience at Straight Set Orthodontics in Port Jefferson. My daughter is usually very nervous and anxious, especially with dental visits, but the staff made her feel completely comfortable. She doesn’t even let her regular dentist take X-rays, yet she allowed them to place spacers with no issues, which honestly says everything. She left happy and relaxed, and that alone meant so much to me as a parent. We’re really excited to start her treatment here and would definitely recommend them, especially for kids who are anxious.

Fantastic experience: I took my son for an orthodontist consultation and the waiting room was decorated with beach chairs, sand, flowers, and leis for a welcoming beach theme! My kids felt comfortable right away. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They even gave them drinks and snacks after and let them both spin the wheel for a prize at the end. My younger son even got the snacks and was included, even though he was too young for braces. “This is the best doctor’s office I have ever been to!” and “This is the coolest dentist office-I can’t wait to come back!” were the conversations between them as we were leaving.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience today! They made my son feel so comfortable and even interacted so nicely with his little brother. They were having a luau party. The staff was so nice and the party was awesome. We didn’t have to wait and were seen by Dr Reinecker. He was wonderful. Both kids had so much fun and can’t wait to come back to the orthodontist!

The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and we didn’t have to wait long. The Dr's were professional, and explained everything clearly to my son about braces. They gave my son tips and wax to help with the irritation and explained what he can and cant eat. Fantastic experience: I took my daughter here for a consultation for braces and OMG everyone down from the reception was beyond amazing. She gave my 4yo who was with us a paper and markers to drawer while we waited along with cartoons and picking out toys for her and her little sister at home. The doctor was amazing so sweet and assured us we will have the best treatment plan to help my daughter and her severe dental issues she is currently having. Billing then met with me with let me know we will try for our insurance to cover the treatment plan and if not we can set a plan. This was especially reassuring. Thank you everyone for being so amazing, we will for sure be back!

Fantastic experience: I took my 8 year old here for a consult. He only lost 8 baby teeth, two of which are still missing. Making an appointment was nice and easy on the website and I got in for the next day. They sent a few links for paperwork that were easy to fill out. They also called to confirm and verify insurance as well as sent a few texts. It wasn’t your general confirmation texts. They were playful and fun and made it exciting to look forward to the visit. Upon arrival to our appointment we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The waiting room was full and smelt like coffee (it smells amazing!) they have a coffee machine and water for guests. They also had a chalkboard sign welcoming my child and other new patients. The receptionist knew all of the patients in the waiting room, seeming to remember each of their names and chatting with multiple patients. Like she asked about specific things that she remembered from last time or that she spoke with their wives about etc. so clearly a very patient oriented person. It was nice and very personable. She asked my child if he liked rubber ducks and told him to come around back and she opened a drawer full of different rubber ducks. Sounds corny but it was actually so cool I even enjoyed it. She let him have one and even let him pick one for his sister. After about a 30 minute wait we were called in by another friendly face. The hygienist was very nice and my son was comfortable with her. The orthodontist came over immediately (dont know which one it was ) and he was super friendly as well. He checked his bite, asked about his missing teeth, checked for crowding, and advised he didn’t need any treatment at the moment and to come back in 6 months. We were in the back for no more than five minutes. I really liked this office and the dentist we saw. My son liked them all as well, and when we were leaving he said he was sad he wasn’t leaving with braces lol we will be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: Every one in the office is so amazing and friendly! We are currently in phase 1 with my 9 year old who just got palate expanders. They explained everything clearly, and are very professional. I am so happy I found this place! My daughter also loves how she gets to pick cute little rubber ducks each time she goes.
