Fantastic experience: Every single time that I go to this dentist I am extremely satisfied! They are very professional, helpful, always answer any questions I have and the dentists are great. I would highly recommend!

Positive experience: Not too bad, I feel like I was rushed in and out of the office quickly. What is wrong with medical offices and their medical staff not introducing themselves ,including the dentist herself, I had to ask her her name, just ridiculous. Places clean and the front desk is okay, place didn't seem warm or welcoming

All of the staff there actually make you feel like a person! They’re very friendly and show that they actually care about their patients! They make conversation they don’t just get you in and out like some dental doctors! 100/10 recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: The staff is great and very helpful i had a bad experience when I was younger with a dentist so my anxiety is not good having to go to the dentist or oral surgeon but this was an exceptional experience they really care about their patients and what the patients needs are. I would highly recommend this dentist and oral surgeons to anyone I know that has had a bad experience with their dental needs in the past the staff is so kind, caring and comforting.

Fantastic experience: My Hygienist Jennifer ,Was so sweet today when doing my cleaning. She did a very good job she made me feel very comfortable and at ease . My x-rays were amazing. I did not gag at all. I’m super sensitive and she really took her time to make sure that I was OK .She was the first person to make me never gag doing x-rays.. She took her time, explained everything to me and really made me feel like she cared. I highly recommend her and feel that they are lucky to have such a caring ,accommodating, And educated hygienist on their team. Thank u so much. She's kind, professional, courteous, and very informative 2nd Entry 5-21-26: I went for surgery to remove teeth. Dr Cohen is very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and quick. Alicia, his assistant, was very kind, helpful, gentle, and checked for insurance coverages that relative to my situation. I definitely recommend this dental practice. 3rd entry 6-22-26: I went in for a follow-up after the oral surgery. All looked good. We scheduled for 2 implants for 2 months from now. Awesome practice.

Negative experience: The girls that answer the phones are super rude and highly unpleasant. It's already stressful having to extract teeth so because I felt unwelcome and treated rudely on the phone ,I chose to go elsewhere. If you don't care about customer service ,or feeling comfortable for an extraction then that's the place for you. I recommend going somewhere else that you're treated with dignity and respect on the phone first ,and hopefully even better in person.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for a while now, I have a lot of dental problems, but they have been nothing but kind, patient and professional which is important to me since I'm Autistic with a history of traumatic experiences when it comes to dental procedures.

Negative experience: I came here trying to find a surgeon for orthognathic surgery. I came in person because I had been kept on hold for about 15 minutes across two separate phone calls without anyone answering. Upon arriving, I saw that all the staff members were busy at their computers, yet no one was actually speaking on the phone—even while my call was still on hold. I explained that I needed to know if they had a maxillofacial surgeon on staff, as I required orthognathic surgery. Although I had already found a surgeon who would accept my insurance, they were located all the way in Queens, and I was looking for something closer. They scheduled me for a dental cleaning the very next day, claiming that—according to their protocol—I first needed to be examined by a general dentist, who would then provide a referral for where I should go next. They asked me to arrive at 2:00 PM; I got here early, and the wait wasn't too long. Once I was seen, the cleaning itself went very well. However, when we finished—at the moment I expected them to finally discuss the surgery or, at the very least, tell me about the surgeon and what my next steps should be—they dropped a bombshell. (I should mention that they don't offer the braces I was looking for at this specific location, but rather at one of their other clinics—which I had absolutely no problem traveling to.) Instead, they told me: "We're sorry, but the maxillofacial surgeon we have on staff is only here to extract molars." They made me waste an entire day of work just to acquire a patient, showing absolutely no regard for my time or needs. They simply don't listen—despite my attempts to explain my situation—and they refused to budge from their rigid procedures. If I could give them zero stars, I would gladly do so.

Fantastic experience: I never thought I would smile again. After getting terrible tooth decay from suboxone I had to have ALL of my teeth extracted. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Then after healing I started working on dentures for my empty grin. The hygienist told me all about how the process works and exactly what kind of time table I was looking at. Then my dentist came in and worked his magic! He paid attention to the pictures I had brought in to show how I used to smile. It was like he was creating a masterpiece ✨️ And I was so excited as the weeks became closer to the finishing touches! My hygienist helped me choose the right coloring and I trusted her to not make a bad recommendation. I have had my teeth for 2 weeks now and the compliments just keep coming. I have recommended Selden Dental to everyone I meet who has been through the decay from suboxone. I have gone back for a few minor adjustments but I have heard that is pretty much the norm! But they fit me right into the schedule and Doc knows exactly how to fix it. I am so happy to have my smile back. My kids say I look 10 years younger now and they are so happy to see me smile! Negative experience: Husband had an appointment at 12:30, got there at 12:15 and waited until 1:30 to finally be seen. Front desk girls were super rude and came off that it was an annoyance when I made his follow up appointment. He said they were the same and he waited a while the second time when he went back alone. The oral surgeon who worked on my husband both times was great, but otherwise we’re beyond happy he doesn’t have to go back for more work in this office.

Fantastic experience: My dentist is the best I've seen in decades. Try to find a doctor who gives you the attention that actually cares about you nowadays!!!! I finally found the Doctor. Selden Dental is great.

Negative experience: Don’t walk, Run away!! 1 star because the hygienist was very good. But the dentist is a crook. He told me I needed a root canal and a crown. So I made another appointment. (Earliest was 6 weeks later). Went in for root canal and the dentist tells me he won’t do the root canal, (which was covered by insurance ) because the crown was not covered by insurance. I told him I didn’t care about the crown at that time. I said to do the root canal first then resubmit for the crown. He said no, and he won’t do the root canal unless I pay him $900!! What a crook! They don’t give a damn about anyone but their pockets!! I went to another place and they took care of my tooth without out of pocket cost!!

Fantastic experience: They were friendly and polite. The dentist and staff was accepting that i was helping my adult son who is on the spectrum. They also allowed you to email your xrays ahead of time and the paperwork. Definitely helped alot not having to do the packet in person. Also love that they prescribe antibiotics. With the danger of infection thats a game changer. Will recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: I just had the most pleasant cleaning with Erika the dental hygienist at Selden Dental/Your Smile Group. I have dental phobia and extreme texture issues so my teeth look accordingly. She was very non-judgmental, very pleasant and talked me through the entire process. She was very patient and did not exert an ounce of annoyance throughout my many gagging episodes. I also believe she’s done the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever received bc my teeth never have felt this clean after a hygienist visit.

Negative experience: Don't use these people, the dentures only lasted me 6 months, the top ones broke in three pieces when I bit into a sandwich and now they want me to pay out of pocket to get new ones! I'm going to go somewhere else to get them done because they did a lousy job on the first ones!

Positive experience: Overall I had a great appt the office is nice enogh pretty no frills but clean.Great caring as well as compasinate doctor and staff. With the exception of 1 front desk staff member who should most definitely not be at FD she has no "bedside manner" One more critique I felt bullied and pushed to have panoramic xray even though I said no and it's not covered by insurance. They offered to bill me but then I had to pay $75 out of pocket before I could continue with my care.

Fantastic experience: My surgeon was brilliant, professional, honest and caring. Went above and beyond in my procedures and I'm sure they were as painless as two multiple extractions could possibly be. I was going to give 4 stars over a scheduling error on the staff's part that caused this process to take a month longer than necessary but I thought about it and everything he did today made up for that. I lost a lot of blood and got woozy and they could've easily waved me out but he saw something was up, said something, and put me back in the chair to make sure I was okay until I got my bearings back. I cannot truly express my gratitude to him in words alone. I'm more than halfway to getting my smile back and I owe almost all of that to him. 10/10 would recommend to anybody else.

Fantastic experience: Place was great. I was in extreme pain and got a referral. Then, I called here, they got me in within an hour of calling the same day to extract two wisdom teeth that were extremely painful. Staff was nice, and the oral surgeon was extremely professional. Fantastic experience: I've seen A LOT of dentists over my years. This practice has got to be one of my favorites. The staff is very friendly, the assistant was very sweet when I started crying after my extractions. They are very accommodating. They have everything on site. My prior dentists would always refer me to an oral surgeon. This practice offers hygienists, general dentistry, and oral surgery.

The girls that work the front desk are super helpful & answer any questions that you have right away, the staff is super friendly and I adore everyone that works in that office. Today I went in for my 6 month teeth cleaning & Victoria was an absolute gem!!! hands down the best teeth cleaning I have ever gotten done, she was very gentle and thorough & towards the end of my service gave me helpful advice to better my teeth down the line. If you’re looking for a reliable & friendly dentist office this is the place!

I’ll set the TONE for you, you arrive at this dark gray dull sad DEPRESSING building. Not a picture on the wall in the waiting room, not a smile at the front desk. The one receptionist is so rude if I knew her name trust me I would name drop but I don’t. All I can say is she has long brown hair with a few strands of gray & wears glasses. Dominique a DOLLLL. An absolute pleasure. Everyone else in there no so much. My first appointment I met with the dentist & Dom, they set me up for extraction day. Well, I arrive & I was greeted with absolute chaos. The staff is all over when I mean all over I mean ALL OVER. Who’s gossiping with who, ones vaping away the other one reeks of marijuana. Just an absolute disaster. I know the ambiance means nothing to some but not even a photo of an ocean wave in the dental room to help calm the patients nerves. NOTHINGGGGG - COLDDDDDDD outdated dingy & DUSTY! I couldn’t even tell you the surgeons name because we didn’t even get that far. All I had the pleasure to meet with was his assistants. After they swindling me into panorama x rays while the surgeons assistant vaped on her puffer!! Yes vaping in the office like excuse me? Get your geek at out of here! She then brought me back into the room and started rambling off all the work I needed done & how they would be extracting 7 teeth. Get the flippppling flying you know what outta here. I was under the impression of 3. Which was as per my last visit with Dom & the dentist. It was in that moment I said so help me God absolutely not. I told her zero you will not be taking a single tooth out of my mouth. The panic attack sets in the heat just started to rise from my toes to the top of my head. I looked her dead in her eyes & said I do NOT belong here. NO ONE DOES!! How the heck are they even allowed to run an office like that. Idk what kind of operation they have going in there but I want NO part of it. Long story short, I left hysterically crying in a full blown panic attack & ran so far out of there. Do yourself a favor & dnt let these fake reviews fool you like I did.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Morcos was amazing. I had a wisdom tooth extraction (my 1st) ever. He was very patient and soft spoken and kind. He walked you through exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. I would 100% recommend him to others and will be seeing him in the future for any work that may be needed then.

Fantastic experience: Erika did a great job cleaning my teeth. I am terrified of the dentist at 30 years old and she was QUICK, EFFICIENT, and PAINLESS!!! My only complaint was a year ago i was here i got 4 teeth pulled with only numbing needles and felt the 4th tooth. I ended up having to come back because the 4th tooth did not ALL come out the first time! I do not suggest getting teeth pulled from here but the regular dental work is fine. Will be back.

Negative experience: Don’t waste your time booking an appointment. The staff has no idea how to schedule appointments. I booked 3 appointments for my husband and 2 teenagers a few months ago. My husband took today off to go. I got constant text messages for confirmation for all 3. Then a few days ago, got a voicemail saying they don’t accept children. Meanwhile on their website, it said new patient CHILD. She’s 13. When I called back, was told they’d only clean her teeth. I don’t understand how their website said they take children and their staff says no. After constant confirmations on today’s appointments, I just got a text saying they cancelled! Didn’t say for who. So my husband wasted his day off. So they must have cancelled everyone last minute. I’m done. These people don’t know how to do business!

Fantastic experience: Receptionist was warm and welcoming. This was my first vist and I am pleased with the whole experience. The dental hygienist was thorough and I left feeling confident that my smile would return even better than before

Negative experience: If you enjoy pain and bring treated like you're not worthy of basic respect and compassion, by all means book an appointment with Dr. Cohen. He'll love to see you as long as you don't interrupt his shopping for tables on the internet instead of waiting for the novicain to kick in. Oh and don't forget to ask for numbing gel because he won't use any. He must have been absent the day they taught numbing gel 101 and how to be a human being. Next stop a letter to both Suffolk County and NYS boards to advise them on his blatant disregard for patients.

Positive experience: I had a moral extraction today, and overall, it was a great experience, as the offending tooth was out in less than a minute. The only things keeping this from a 5-star review were learning after I made the appointment and was in the office that I had to pay for X-rays. Not sure why they needed to take them for an extraction. Also, the dental assistant was trying to talk me into an implant, which even the oral surgeon said he wouldn't bother getting it. I understand that she was doing her job. Busy office with a lot of patients today. This is NOT my regular dentist, but one of the few that would do the extraction. If you need dental work without pain, come here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. P has been treating atleast 3 times now. He has done several fillings and today he treated me for a crown. He is always very thorough and answers all questions. He made sure I was comfortable and always does a fantastic job. I have been very happy so far.
