Negative experience: I could not recommend this practice in good faith twice I've had work done that failed shortly after the work was done! Consumer beware!

Positive experience: My most recent appointment was fine, they took me quick, told me I have 2 cavitys (No location,size or course of action, didnt even show me the xray) , when told my insurance runs out on the 23rd and my next apt would be the 28th. No way to help me so they offered to book me a $115 cleaning. Ive been going to NDA/Bella Smiles since I was 18. The staff was GREAT till about 2-3 years ago. First it was small appointment annoyances, then it was the revolving door of staff who has caused a bunch of issues like failure to use a Lead Vest correctly, refusing to polish all my teeth and gave me an attitude when I asked her to clean my teeth properly. Im just so disappointed in this office at this point. I used to have nothing but glowing reviews for them. Now its just mediocrity. My teeth dont even look or feel cleaner. Felt like a wasted appointment.

She made sure I was comfortable at every step. Dr. Pop took the time to explain the procedure and answered all my questions, The crown fits perfectly and looks completely natural. I'm not putting their name up because I WOULD NEVER WANT to give them any free advertisement. If you can't figure it out -it's also a place in Colorado; where you ski. Worse Experience in my life. I only do 5 Star reviews. Only when it's 100% deserved by MY Personal and Truly legit experience... the way I was treated, the service, Newer technology, great food, cleanliness, etc. Maybe out of 100 5 star reviews; only two were 1(0) star. This OTHER Dental practice fell in the category of ALL the Class Action lawsuits they've had for deception, up-selling, patient abandonment and NOT ethical medical practice. I AM SO EXCITED TO BE GOING BACK TO BELLA in NESCONSET NEXT WEEK!!!! Like I said I learn the hard way and I would drive 30+ miles to go back to the Great dentist that I had. DR. POP ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family just started to go to Bella Smiles in Nesconset. They are really taking care of my daughter, She has some issues with her teeth. They even scheduled her in an emergency visit, which they can not always do, because they're booked. I apologize if I write Dr. Pop's name incorrectly. She is extremely talented. I have never said that a price was good for any procedure at a dentist! But I was giving a fair, reasonable and affordable price to fix my front tooth and she did a job like a cosmetic artist in only 30 minutes or less. I'm extremely thankful to her and for going there to get that done and I will certainly be going back!!! THANK YOU!

Negative experience: Went this this dentist most of my life (2000-2020). If I knew what I did now, I would've told my parents to take me elsewhere. There are so many problems they did not fix, others that they did not find. Multiple dentists I went to as adult found the same problems and consistency. Don't bring your kids here if you want to be sure they don't have any undiagnosed dental issue.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr. Shuminov and her team. I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Shuminov and couldn’t be happier with the results! From the initial consultation to the final retainer fitting, the entire process was smooth and professional. Dr. Shuminov and the team were incredibly informative from the start, explaining the Invisalign process in detail and answering all of my questions. They took the time to map out a personalized treatment plan that suited my specific needs, and I appreciated how involved I was in the decision-making.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shumanov and her staff are a wonderful team to work with. She did a fantastic job installing my new implants. Also, office manager Cheryl worked diligently with my insurance company to get as much covered as possible. I am completely satisfied with the entire experience I had with Bella Smiles.

Negative experience: Cancel your own appointments that you made 6 months in advance without telling you. Completely unprofessional. Edit - Never received any messages in February and I still have texts from last December so there was just no effort to reach out.

Fantastic experience: I had to go for an emergency & had a tooth pulled, Dr.Pop was unbelievable. She took the time to explain everything & when I was still having pain & bleeding she had me come right back to the office. All the people there were great.

Negative experience: What a disrespectful establishment. My family has been going here for years. I recently lost my job. Having issues with my teeth. Got put on my folks insurance. Because their policy (Bella Smiles) is they want the money up front and when the insurance pays them and you overpayed the facility they issue you credit against future work. Couldnt pay what they wanted I was refused my dental work. Wouldnt even work with me. Avoid like the plague. Drs are to help patients not turn them away when their services are needed. If they would have worked with me. I'm sure something could have been arranged!! I couldnt even put zero stars which is what they deserve.

Negative experience: Office has changed thru the years. Still see my same dentist after 20 years but the office staff is cold and rude. They sent a nasty letter saying my husband didnt cancel his last appt in 24 hours and if it happens again they are dropping him from the practice. Horrible customer service

Negative experience: Dr Diana Pop really messed my tooth up. She worked for Dr.Raio in Medford before this place. I went in for a simple small cavity and she drilled to far and formed a small crack that lead to a expensive root canal and then finally my tooth pulled out. I do Not Recommend her at all.

Fantastic experience: My Husband, my kids and I all go here.. we love the entire staff..All are welcoming, friendly, thorough, and down to earth..a welcoming smile goes a long way…From the front desk, to the Dental Hygienist (Rosemarie) and Dr. Ceasar…(who were very sweet) being in the medical field myself, this is what we look for when making patients happy and comfortable…my son had an issue with his tooth and being a new patient they got him in to see Dr. Popp the same day…she was a sweetheart as well..if you want excellent care and beautiful teeth see Bella Smiles! You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I've used this practice for more than 20 years and never been disappointed. Dr Caesar is a fine dentist and there are no high pressure upsells. Kelly, the Hygienist I see does a very thorough pain free job and is charming too. The entire support staff makes every visit easy and convenient. I had an appointment last week and one hour before the appointment time, they called to tell me there would be a slight delay and asked if I could come in 15 minutes later. How much is that consideration worth? A lot to me.

Let's be honest, some people are nervous going to the dentist to begin with (I'm one of them), so this helped a lot . More positive feedback can be given to patients who are really trying to keep up with their dental care to boost morale and overall experience of patients coming back. Also an area to improve would be appointment availability as sometimes you cant get in for months at a time , which can be a deterrent sometimes but idk if anything else can be done besides simply adding more doctors. All in all, love my experience thus far , love working with Dr.pop , she has been so curtepus and gentle and I would highly recommend her and this practice.

Negative experience: All I can say is Wow! This dental office does not care about their patients. My mother had nothing but good things to say about this dentist so I decided years ago to go for a regular teeth cleaning and X-rays. I received a bill in the mail for the services when I had dental insurance and gave them my insurance card before the actual appt. Not once did they mention that my insurance did not fully cover the general services I was receiving. If they had, I never would have continued my appt there that day. Unfortunately, people go through rough times, my husband was dying of cancer and our income was going to more important bills and I will be honest, I pushed this bill to the side and it went into collections. To make a long story short, it has been over 10 years since I have visited their office and I just tried to make an appt and they told me no, b/c my bill from over 10 years ago went into collections and it did eventually get paid, just so you know. I am just floored. I guess you are all about the money and not actually caring for your patients dental care. I will be honest their hrs are not favorable to the regular 9-5 working crew and I did make a couple of appts I was unable to make. I just can’t understand the audacity of them to say on the phone that they can’t make an appt for me b/c I had an outstanding balance over 10 years ago. I am sorry your bill got pushed to the side b/c my husband was dying of cancer. I should not have to explain myself to you. How dare you!

Negative experience: I've had good experiences with this office for the last few years, but the dentist I saw recently was absolutely terrible. I had no pains when I went for my cleaning and now I have constant pain. He seems to have damaged my implant, which now will likely need to be removed and he did two fillings for me where I now have consistent pain and need to follow up on.
