Fantastic experience: I had my first visit today, and everyone was so welcoming and warm. Dr. Starnes was personable and down-to-earth. It eased my nerves about being there. Venessa, Megan, and Terri made my checkout easy and smooth. This will be our new family Dentist office. :-)

Fantastic experience: The Whole Tooth has it figured it out. They’re exceptional for adults, and somehow they’ve also managed to make my three kids beg to go to the dentist. For adults, everything is easy from start to finish. There’s convenient parking right out front, seamless online scheduling with text reminders, a beautiful and spotless office, and an outstanding team. From Dr. Starnes to hygienists McKensey and Tiffany, and the front office team of Parker and Terrie, everyone is friendly, professional, and makes every visit effortless. The conversations with the hygienists are always enjoyable, and if you’d rather relax, you can even watch TV on the ceiling during your appointment. For kids, it might be even better. Dr. Bongiovi has an incredible way of making children feel comfortable and excited about their visit. There’s a dedicated kids’ waiting area with games and toys, and if you’ve ever been to this plaza, you’ve probably seen the famous lineup of rubber ducks outside. Every child gets to pick a duck after their visit (Jeep owners, you’ll appreciate this!), and after their cleaning they receive coins for the toy/gumball machines so they leave with a fun prize. We’ve fully embraced the duck tradition and have started our own collection at home. It’s a small touch that says a lot about how much this practice cares about creating a positive experience. If you’re looking for a dentist for yourself or your family, I can’t recommend The Whole Tooth highly enough. They have created an experience that is professional, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable for both adults and kids.

Fantastic experience: Me and my daughter go here regularly for our teeth and they are always kind and respectful. Today I took my three year old and they did wonderful with him. They were patient and understanding. They also went over my concerns with him and advised me on what I can do to help his teeth as he gets older. I really love this dental office.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I had ever been to, and I have been to a lot of dentists. My ten year old was having a unique situation where he needed a root canal on an adult tooth, and it was troublesome, finding him a dentist who was willing to then put a crown on that tooth. Pediatric didn't want to put a crown on adult teeth. The adult dentist could only do permanent crowns, and he needed a temporary crown.As it wasn't fully erupted, only eighty percent of the way there. Furthermore, I was laid off for my job this month and cobra kicks in at the end of the month. To help me avoid the hassle of dealing with cobra payments during a transitional time period, the office squeezed me in today. We were in and out within forty five minutes.With a full crown replacement. Doctor Bongiovi has an excellent bedside manner, and all of the staff are wonderful. I don't typically leave long winded.Google reviews, but trust me. These folks are amazing.

Makenzie, the hygienist, was excellent with a very soft touch. Dr. Starnes , ho is very nice, reviewed my new X-Rays, the condition of my teeth and gums. She also provided options for future care. All in all, I have to give very high marks for the entire office.

Fantastic experience: My whole family comes here, including my two kids. We have had nothing but terrific experiences here. We always get seen quickly, we like both the hygienists and then dentists. Our kids legitimately love coming to the dentist because they love the games and picking out a duck. They make the whole experience fun for them!

Fantastic experience: I rarely ever write reviews, but had such a positive experience here over the years that I feel this one is long overdue. The Whole Tooth is an absolutely amazing practice. Everyone here is caring, compassionate, and consistently brings a strong can-do attitude. Dr. Amy Starnes is exceptional. I have personally worked with her for adult care, while her husband focuses on pediatric patients. Together, they run a practice with a clear emphasis on providing the best possible care rather than maximizing cost. They are transparent, fair, and willing to work with patients financially when they can. They accept dental insurance, and if you do not have coverage, they will still work with you if cost is a concern. There have even been instances where they did not charge for services that many other practices likely would have, even in situations where it may have been a breakeven or loss for the practice. While they do not perform certain invasive procedures such as tooth extractions or root canals, they provide a wide range of preservation, restorative, and some cosmetic dental services including fillings, crowns, routine checkups, x-rays, bite guards, and cleanings. When specialized care is needed that their practice does not offer, they provide thoughtful referrals to trusted providers. The dental assistants and hygienists are well trained, friendly, and clearly motivated to help patients. They understand that many people feel anxious about dental visits and do their best to make you as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff is equally impressive. They are responsive, helpful, and consistently go out of their way to assist. Communication is easy through text or phone, and even after hours there is an emergency number that is personally answered by the doctors. The office is well appointed, with a comfortable waiting area that includes a separate playroom for children. Treatment rooms feature ceiling-mounted TVs, and the entire office is clean, well maintained, and equipped with quality technology. Highly recommended. They treat both pediatric and adult patients, and my entire family has been going here for years. I would not go anywhere else.

I had to reschedule several times due to work conflicts and their staff was extremely patient and helpful. They even proactively notified me when an earlier appt time became available. They’re willingness to respond via text is extremely efficient. The actual visit was great and they made my son feel super comfortable through the whole process. He is already asking to go back. I could not recommend them enough!

Dr Starnes met me before the cleaning so we could discuss any of my concerns before any treatment. Sydney was wonderful as she explained everything ensuring I was comfortable during the Xrays and cleaning. When Dr Starnes returned, I experienced her professional and friendly manner as she did a thorough examination. Fantastic experience: I’ve become a loyal client of The Whole Tooth located in the Dunwoody shopping complex. I see dental hygienist Tiffany for cleanings and during the most recent procedure she played one of my favorite songs, Dean Martin’s rendition of Sway where I pictured myself doing the rhumba vs. focusing on the racket created by the cleaning instrument! I also saw Dr. Starnes who treated a gum infection and she always listens intently to my dental concerns and very competent in resolving them.

Fantastic experience: First visit there this morning with my 2 kids. They loved the waiting room and the choice of toys from the gumball machine. What I saw was great service from caring individuals. I loved the game at the end where they gave the kids a token to place in the non-profit box of their choosing.

Almost 2 years ago we had to make the move and heard great things about the Whole Tooth. And everyone was right. The staff is amazing. Both my kids have anxiety when it comes to routine appointments but when we go to this dentist, they are both so excited. The cleanings, exam and xrays take less than an hour. They are very gentle and kind. We also have had one emergency appointment that they got us in quickly for and they resolved the emergency within 15 minutes. The Whole Tooth is amazing and we will continue to recommend this practice to families in Dunwoody and surrounding communities.

Parker reworked all three of us into one time slot on the same day so I didn't have to make multiple trips. That's next-level service!!!

Fantastic experience: This place just feels different in the best way. The medical staff are genuine, caring, and easy to talk to, which instantly puts you at ease. Fantastic experience: A super positive experience after a past traumatic experience and then not going to the dentist for 8 years! I told them about my negative history and anxiety around how much work I’d need after all this time. They were very supportive and nonjudgmental. Set reasonable expectations and talked me through the process to let me know how I was doing. Sidney the hygienist was super sweet and gentle. Dr. Starnes was equally kind and did a great job nonjudgmentally explaining what I needed and transparently discussing how I could go about planning treatments. The admin staff were super helpful in breaking down my insurance coverage and plan follow up appts. I plan to bring my toddler next year to start building a healthy and positive experience with dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank the dentists and staff enough for their professionalism and kindness. Our whole family uses their services and we all love and trust them, but they went above and beyond today by coming in on a day off to help my daughter during a dental emergency. They were gentle, patient and kind.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Bongiovi is great with kids. My seven-year-old has been seeing him since she was three or four. He is good about building trust and talking her through things. She recently had her first cavity. It was tiny so he monitored growth and did not pressure us into filling it immediately. When it became time to fill it, he was sensitive to her anxiety about the process. She’s very observant and inquisitive, but we made it through without much of an issue. Thankful for Dr. B’s level of care, empathy, and patience.

Fantastic experience: My son had so much anxiety going to the dentist, and everything changed once we visited The Whole Tooth! At the advice of the front office, we came in a few days before his appointment at a time when Tiffany (the amazing hygienist) would be available to show him all of the equipment and so that he could get comfortable with the room. A few days later, my son's appointment went so well - both Dr. Bongiovi and Tiffany were so kind and patient with him, and let things go at his pace. Fantastic experience: Dr Starnes and her team, from the welcoming staff at the front desk to the hygienists and Dr Starnes are outstanding. The office is immaculate and up to date. You couldn't ask for a better dental experience in my opinion

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend taking your children to The Whole Tooth. Took my 3 children (8yo, 6yo & 1.5yo) for a cleaning. The whole staff was so friendly and patient. The waiting area had an awesome area for the kids & they loved getting a rubber duck to take back with them. Ms. Tiffany was patient & explained everything she was going to do. There were no tears or resistance. Also getting X-rays for the older 2 was so easy for the kids… no anxiety & fear. Definitely in good hands with Dr. Jason and his team!

Fantastic experience: Whole Tooth welcomes you upon entering. They offered water or coffee since we were early. The technicians are ver gentle, comfortable people who have a light touch with the pick. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: The Whole Tooth provides a 10/10 experience! Beyond the high quality of the fillings they’ve done I love how pleasant every single person I’ve encountered is. Bonus, a TV is mounted above every chair for viewing while getting work done!

Fantastic experience: Who loves their dentist? ME! That’s definitely not something you hear people say but truly I never dread an appointment for myself or my kids bc everyone at The Whole Tooth is awesome. Dr. Starnes is the most down to earth, gentle, effective dentist I’ve had. I feel she gives me the best treatment, practical care, she is not trying to sell me treatments I don’t need. She is so lovely I could hang out with her all day. Dr. Bongiovi is also down to earth, gentle, effective and makes getting my kids treated effortless. I can schedule them at the same time, it’s a private setting, it doesn’t feel like a meat market and again I never feel they are trying to sell me procedures they don’t need. Truly exceptional all around.

Fantastic experience: We love the Whole Tooth! Everyone there - the receptionists, dental hygienist and of course Dr. Bongiovi are so welcoming, warm and friendly. So much so, that my sons (5 and 3.5 years old) love going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: The whole tooth isn’t just a dental practice. You don’t feel like you are merely just a patient. The staff particularly, Parker and Terrie, hygienists, and doctors all make you feel so incredibly welcome and comfortable. The dentist can be a scary place for many people, but I promise at the whole tooth, you’ll feel taken care of thoroughly with kindness and care.

Fantastic experience: We are all absolutely in love with this practice! My children enjoy going to the dentist because Dr. Bongiovi is so good with them. We just recently had an accident involving a bike, my 7 year old and his 2 front teeth. Dr. Bongiovi came in after hours and did a BEAUTIFUL job fixing those teeth and easing my worry. He also happened to have an incredible assistant that day (shout out to Dr. Starnes!) I might even like her more than Dr. Bongiovi! Haha I can't recommend this practice enough! My family will continue to trust them as long as they are around or we have teeth

Fantastic experience: Love Dr. Starnes! I had a filling crack and fall out last night. Called last night and left VM. Office called/texted me first thing this morning. Was able to get in early and Dr. Starnes worked quickly and efficiently to get me out of there and on with my day. The office staff and both doctors are wonderful! Thank you for all your help today!
