Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff, great place!

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned for the first time at Artisan Dental. Waiting room is clean, staff is helpful and professional. Everything went smoothly. Going to see the dentist has always been stressful for me, but I am grateful to everyone who made this visit easier!!

Fantastic experience: I decided to stop working with my regular dentist last minute, during my last visit because they stopped taking insurance and no longer had a hygienist. They didn’t tell me they no longer took insurance until I arrived and after I started my appointment. The front desk staff were not good at providing guest services and gave incorrect information. I called Artisan and they scheduled an appointment for within 2 weeks. They are very professional, welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The front desk staff were great, explained everything upfront, no surprises. The communication is excellent. I highly recommend this dental office.

Negative experience: The clinic rescheduled my appointment once, and then called again to say it needed to be changed yet again—showing absolutely no consideration for the customer's schedule. If this is how they operate, what is the point of making an appointment in the first place?

Fantastic experience: Ever since I’ve started coming here it’s always a welcoming environment. I’ve gotten my wisdom tooth extracted as well as a supernumerary tooth. They’re very careful and worry about their patient’s well-being, comfortability and they make sure you’re given all the information so you know what is going to be done and they answer all your questions. Staff is very knowledgeable a friendly. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had several visits consisting of 14 fillings, 2 extractions and 1 root canal. Every visit went well, the dentist did a fantastic job, and everyone there is so friendly. They even remember my name when I walk in the door!

Negative experience: Unfortunately had a pretty unpleasant experience as a pregnant woman here. I mentioned on the phone numerous times that I was pregnant and had a confirmed cavity I needed filled, they assured me everything was fine and they would mark it down. I got there for my appointment to “diagnose” the cavity I had already had diagnosed in the past, filled out all the paper work that I had to show up 30 minutes early for, which right at the bottom of the form had me mark I was pregnant and how far along. They said to hand the paperwork to the person who calls me back so they could look at it and start my work. I get called back, she doesn’t even once look at my paperwork, okay weird, whatever. She gets an xray for me , does not put any protective coverings on me, and after when I mentioned again “hey, I marked on my paperwork that I am pregnant” she immediately got all weird about it and said I should’ve mentioned it to her again. Well, that was kind of the point of the front desk people telling me I was fine and it was marked down, and the paperwork in which I filled out and handed to her which was right next to her still, unread. She then proceeds to say they probably can’t do another x ray. Weird, not what my midwife or OBGYN said, but okay. I wait for the dentist, he comes, pokes me twice and says “yeah I can’t find the cavity and because you’re pregnant we can’t do another xray. Since you’re pregnant too you’ll have to come back after giving birth” (in 20 more weeks!) Which according to the dental association AND my OBGYN/midwife is incredibly incorrect and not to mention dangerous. You should NOT leave a cavity (an infection) while pregnant, as it can lead to low birth weight and premature birth, and dental X-rays are so non invasive with low levels of any radiation, it’s absolutely recommended to get those done and get the cavity fixed. I confirmed this again with my midwife who was shocked that I was told this information as it’s incredibly incorrect and dangerous. I am very unhappy at the service received and care that was *not* given to me. I was basically turned away for being pregnant which is really not okay. I would not recommend here in general, the environment was weird and the dental area was basically all open and uncomfortable as heck for anyone with anxiety, and they clearly don’t read any of the paperwork you fill out as a new patient which is quite concerning as well. They also billed my insurance for a total of $418 for an “exam” that was telling me they couldn’t help me, and for poking me literally twice with a tool, along with “preventative care” that they literally didn’t provide. Nothing was done except turning me away for being pregnant. Absolutely unacceptable. Would rate a 0 if possible.

Fantastic experience: First time in a while for a check up and cleaning. Met with the receptionist… great to talk to her…can’t remember her name..sorry, it’s not listed of the website. Luda was the “Sterilization Assistant” (used to be known as hygienists, as I recall). She was great.Also, Dr. Kamal Ahmed was great, too. I highly recommend this dentistry. As a 65 y/o I've had more than my share of bad dental experiences,and my teeth reflect the lack of continuity of care.I am so glad I found this office and Dr.Ahmed Kammal! Negative experience: This is the worst dentist ever. Claimed I had 4 cavities. Returned to have them filled. He left access filling around the outside of my teeth. I was in a lot of pain. I returned again for the dentist to clean up what he left. He grinded my teeth and offered no pain medication when I requested it he said he couldn't give me anything. I have been in pain ever since. He left grinding marks on my teeth. Eating lettuce alone causes so much pain.

Fantastic experience: My son has been going to Artisan Dental for a couple of years. He’s on the Autism spectrum and he’s had trouble tolerating dental appointments historically. But with Dr Ahmed and his team, his appointments go super smoothly. Artisan Dental has done an excellent job in handling his dental care.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Artisan Dental for a few years now and I only have positive things to say about Dr. Ahmed and his staff! Everyone is very professional and kind. I feel like Dr. Ahmed is always looking out for the patient's best interests and doesn't go out of his way to rack up the bill like some dentists do. He is fair, honest, and reliable. Negative experience: Dr Kamal Ahmd is a really horrible doctor. The doctor saw me and he refused to talk to me when I told him I’m in too much pain to stay awake for my wisdom tooth to be broken by him. The doctor made me feel bad about not feeling comfortable and basically told me everyone does it, and that it’s not bad and I just need to relax. He also told me that he would give me a referral but when I asked at the front they told me to call when I find a place that covers my insurance. When I did that and called back they will not give a referral. It feels like as soon as I asked to not do the procedure awake and he wasn’t billing me, his attitude changed and he was dismissive. Even though I told him I’m in a lot of pain. I don’t recommend this person not as a doctor and definitely not a human. He will not take your pain serious and will dismiss your concerns. This practice is not willing to work with you and are completely unprofessional.

Negative experience: I wish I could give them 0/5 stars. Got some fillings done in September, left in TREMENDOUS pain (more than normal pain for fillings) on top of having sensitivity months later where they filled the cavities… I DON’T recommend going there for ANY dental treatment, and would say look elsewhere before going to them. Highly disappointed. Oh, AND they filled a cavity that was previously filled before I went to them… They did not seem informed about my previous fillings, even with documentation being sent over… Be smart, and don’t go there.

Negative experience: This appointment was brutal alone because I had a lot of cavities but it went terribly aside from that. The doctor was way too aggressive and not charismatic when I was clearly in pain. He could have been WAY more gentle. Now I have a cut under my tongue and can’t eat right. My tongue hurts way more than the soreness from my appointment . The pain is brutal! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this doctor. I will be trying to find someone else to finish the work I need.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my visit and was able to get an appointment booked very fast. I had chipped my front tooth and they were able to fill it in and make it look better than it looked before I chipped it. They were very kind and went out of their way to make sure that I left happy

Fantastic experience: This office has a happy, relaxed atmosphere. Very accommodating, to make sure you're comfortable. The dentist is very nice and explains things, and is very good at what he does. I would recommend this dentist to everyone.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. The first time I was there 7 years ago, they almost removed the wrong teeth. After they numbed the wrong side of my face, the doctor realized the mistake. Fast forward to recent interactions, they contacted me to let me know they had a new hygienist and that I could get my teeth cleaned before the end of the year. I scheduled an appointment and got sick so I requested to reschedule. They told me no and that violates their policy. So I should go there sick? Then they proceeded to tell me that they were glad I wasn't coming back and would remove me from their marketing list. I will actively tell people to stay away.

Fantastic experience: I had the one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had here. I was extremely nervous to go and Dr. Ahmed was very nice and assuring and his dental assistant Carmen was wonderful as well. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone (I actually already have) Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I've been here multiple times, today I went and had some more cavities filled, my tooth needs to be filled down some more because my bite is off, but I couldn't tell because of the numbness but they did there best as to what I could feel, but overall, he has never judged my teeth in any way, he's always welcoming us in and asks how we are feeling! I'm very happy that he hasn't judged me like the previous dentist I have been too, that's why I was scared to go to a dentist but this dentist changed my view and that it's time to get the work done! He takes his time fixing your teeth and also makes sure he can try and keep any tooth that has pretty bad cavities. I definitely recommend artisan dental! All the workers there are super nice! They will take good care of you when you're there! Thanks Dr. Ahmed, for caring for me and my moms teeth!

Fantastic experience: Good service so far ! Had my 1st visit yesterday and now the following day, I'm back for more dental work. I'm happy to have gotten in with the insurance I have. The DDS is kind and quite educated.

Negative experience: I called my insurance beforehand to make sure this was in network. Then I made the appointment for a deep cleaning like I normally do every year at other in-network clinics. The day of the appointment I noticed all the equipment had scuff and scratch marks and that the place cramped. This looked like some secondhand store and all the techs felt new. They were only able to look at my death and get x-rays to diagnose me for two cavities, which I highly doubt were actual cavities. Then I scheduled the next day for fillings. I get a notice from my insurance that the doctor performed an x-ray that they would not cover. And they denied covering a deep cleaning for this place. When I went to get my fillings in, they didn’t properly numb me up and I had already been waiting 30 minutes. They applied more numbing medication after I complained of pain and then left me for another 30 minutes. I’m total it took them an hour for the doctor to actually get to me and it took only 2 minutes. The place looks run down and the atmosphere is cheap. Don’t trust to go to them again.

Negative experience: It’s beyond disappointing to leave a message like this. I wouldn’t have if it’s not for the multiple experience I had at this clinic. I have been a loyal patient for Artisan Dental around two years. To describe how loyal I am, I have my mother, two brothers and husband all go to this clinic. The dental and hygiene service is overall okay, nothing superb nor terrible. However, their scheduling is a complete MESS. This makes my experience really horrible. They like to confirm appointment - call and message a week prior which can be annoying to some people but I get it. What makes it really terrible is recently, I booked my cleaning appointment two months ahead in-person in February with the front desk person and she noticed a deep cleaning wasn’t done so she had to confirm if a regular cleaning can be performed. I waited until she confirmed and made the appointment in April. A week before my actual appointment I called in to confirm it. And the day of my appointment only a few hours prior, I got a text message saying my appointment is canceled because they can’t do the regular cleaning without deep cleaning. I work a full-time job and can only go to appointments with PTO arranged weeks prior. This has caused so much inconvenience and frustration. However it hasn’t ended there. I the called them inquiring why they booked it the first place and couldn’t tell me a week prior when I called to confirm. All I got was nothing. So I said fine could you please schedule a reevaluation for deep cleaning so I can get that done. They went ahead and scheduled the appointment a week later. Same procedure- I called to confirm the new appointment. And I called in the same week of my new appointment, a few days before the appointment, for confirming another appointment for my brother. The receptionist Ryan, said to me that my appointment is canceled because their assistant is not in that day. At this point, they have LAST-MINUTE canceled my appointment TWICE. This has shown no respect to patients’ schedule, especially for a loyal patient. I am very disappointed and hope the management can take this matter seriously. If any of the new patient, thought of going to this clinic, think twice!

The staff at Artisan Dental was extremely patient and kind, and my visit was quick and as painless as possible. I left feeling relieved and optimistic, rather than upset, as I had expected to feel. They answered every question clearly and worked with me to ensure I understood every aspect of my procedure and follow-up care. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Kumal consistently for over 10 years and he’s an excellent dentist. The staff at Artisan is top notch. They communicate efficiently, are always friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating. My hygienist is one of the best, I wish I remembered her name, but she’s amazing!!!

Negative experience: To say I do not like this dentist is an understatement of the century. They put something in their water that tastes like metal (which none of my other past dentists had), and made me want to gag. They also told me everything that was wrong with my teeth, when no other dentist has told me anything like that. And then to top it off, when requesting to send my records to another dentist, they told me they were going to charge me $25. Well after I called Delta Dental insurance, they said do not pay, because if the new dentist office requests dental records then they will do it for free. Please do yourself a favor and find a better dentist, because this place is AWFUL.

Fantastic experience: Artisan dental staffs are absolutely amazing! They are so friendly, respectful and helpful. This is my first time in many years to visit a dentist and it was a great experience. I’m happy and look forward for my extraction procedure on Monday.

Fantastic experience: I felt like my visit was welcoming. The woman at the front desk had a very soft demeanor and she made me feel like she understood my situation. I can tell she's used to speaking with the public. The dentist was very kind and he smiled and said he was happy to meet me. The dental tech, she was very kind also and I felt like her cleaning of my teeth was very thorough. I'm glad I found this place, and it's not very far from where I live.

Negative experience: Although the dentist and assistants seemed nice, the older scheduling lady was very rude to me. I specifically had 2 appointments for my tooth, 1 before my vacation to just get antibiotics and 1 after to have it pulled. So I arrived to the first appointment and everyone was asking me if I was ready to have my tooth pulled and I said I was only here for my prescription because I did not want to risk getting dry socket, etc on my trip which I made very clear to the lady on the phone. So they had me talk to her and she proceeded to gaslight me into saying I never had said that and being very rude when it could’ve just been miscommunication. I then ask if I still have my other appointment and they say no and that I’ll have to schedule it when I get back (which made no sense to me and plus I had already taken off work for that specific day which isn’t easy for me already but I said oh well). I tried scheduling when I got back and they proceeded to tell me they’re booked up and will call me back to give me an appointment. Never got a call back.

Negative experience: Bogus &, quacks! I do not recommend the clinic ! Been a patient for a couple of months. Rude, clueless staff..unprofessional dentist, and they will always screw your appointments. Money is their main focus and services does not matter to them. Please safe your teeth and time...

Fantastic experience: Maryam did an absolute amazing job cleaning my teeth! I have pretty high anxiety when it comes to teeth cleanings and unfortunately insurance doesn't cover nitrous oxide. Maryam made me feel very relax almost immediately!

Negative experience: Only got as far as trying to set up general cleaning and ended up disconnecting the call due to the unprofessional customer service I received. If that’s the first impression I get, I don’t want to stick around and see what’s next. I have 3 kids. For years I have took them all in at the same day. They are stating only 2 kids per family can be seen in the same day. I have someone to wait in the waiting room with the 2 that aren’t being seen. This place had really good reviews so I’m shocked and upset on how the phone call went.

Negative experience: I don't recommend this place!!! I brought my son in for a teeth cleaning, one of the middle aged dental assistants came out and was very rude right away. My son is a minor and he specifically told her that we don't use flourid for personal reasons and she proceeded to go against what he told her and she said he needed it anyway. She never came out to talk to me as his Mother about the situation which she should have as he's not an adult yet. I talked about what happened with the receptionist afterwards and I could see the Dentist near when she told him the issue, he never came up to me either to apologize or anything which isn't ok when a parent of a child is that upset because his employee messed up he should've talked to me as a professional and apologized for what had happened. Awful experience and very disappointing, all future appointments are cancelled and won't be returning........

Negative experience: I was advised by my insurance company that they were accepting new patients. When I called the office to inquire and told them who my insurance was with and that I needed a new denture they told me they werent accepting new patients with my insurance for that type of service. SERIOUSLY?? IS my insurance not good enough for you people?? I will take my business to someone whom actually TRULY cares.

Fantastic experience: I'm normally uncomfortable and anxious going to the dentist for anything but the staff puts me at ease from beginning to end. I've had fillings, a root canal and a crown taken care of and my experience was very good.

Negative experience: These people have poor customer service. If you have a emergency or cancel your appointment when's something's going on they will never see you again. That is ridiculous and really absurd and all the staff were saying were it was the owners rule well the owner has a small minded-head and doesn't think about others everyday emergencies and that it's common for something to happen. All he will due is kick you out if his dental for missing an appointment.

Negative experience: Not good experience with thus clinic. They are pushing their services onto you. Nicle and dime you for everything. You need to pay them to get your x-rays that you already paid for.

Fantastic experience: The folks at this location were awesome! From the nurse to the administration, I felt welcomed and my anxieties about the dentist were put at ease. Definitely returning in the future!

Positive experience: I need to express that the doctor and his techs performance was always exemplary. However, the scheduling staff consistently made appointments a stress-point for me. *Four (4) times* in the few years I'd been going to them, they adjusted my appointment timing (by up to 2 hours on one occasion), and then they proceeded to gaslight me that it had always been that time (even though I specifically put it into my phone's calendar when setting it the first place). This would screw me over & leave me scrambling, as I have to leave work for these appointments. If you want an excellent doctor and hygienists, and you have a more flexible schedule, these guys are great. If, however, you're like me and you have a tight schedule & have to take time off work to go, be warned, and maybe try somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kamal Ahmed is extremely kind and excellent dentist. His staff are all very friendly and helpful...whether it being helping w/insurance claims or fitting you into a tight schedule for emergencies. The office environment is pleasant and very clean. Exceeded all my expectations for dental care.

Fantastic experience: Nice reception and best of everything. This was my first dental visit...and when I say 1st I mean it...never been to a dentist my entire life (25+yrs)...so this visit was kinda scary for me. It got me even more worried because Dr.Kamal told me, I had to have my 2 wisdom teeth extracted....damn! I almost lost it...I actually lost it......but thanks to the wonderful dentists in this place, everything turned out great. Dr.Kamal is simply the best....he did the extraction gently and i felt no pain at all.., the female dentists/nurses were very awesome as well...they helped to calm me down and that was so thoughtful of them. It's 3 days post-op and I'm doing absolutely great. My son goes to these same dentists and he likes the place too...his visit was the 1st one as well and he did great, thanks to the great dentists of Artisan dental. Will highly recommend Artisan Dental.

Lynette, Navera, Lisa, and Dr. Kamal are always straightforward, honest, and knowledgeable with my insurance, treatments and consultations. They are also very accommodating and very friendly. Negative experience: After setting my sons appointment they called to ask me to change it on two different occasions. Then they cancelled my appointment at the last minute. The dental staff is ok, but I would not recommend this dentist due the headache that comes with scheduling.

Positive experience: Dr. Kamal is a very competent and knowledgeable person . The place is nice and comfortable. Staff is nice, particularly Mariam the hygienist is very very nice and the best I have seen so far. Overall a nice and happy experience.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I've ever been to and one of the most efficiently run businesses I've ever seen. No BS, just great service every time I go in. The staff is friendly and the doc really knows what he's doing. Appointments are always on schedule and most of the time they're ready for me as soon as I walk in. I honestly got the impression their first priority was my dental health, and I really appreciate their integrity. Great dentist :)

Fantastic experience: This dental clinic is by far the best I have been too. I have limited options with my insurance. They have always gotten me in quickly. Explained what they were doing and have given me the best options. Today, they went above any beyond. Thought I was getting a quick look at something that I had done 4 months ago, and it turned into amazing news. Tooth filled I thought would need pulled as a previous dental office said I would. Also, had another tooth pulled and didn’t feel a thing. They also fitted me for other things and today, I feel like I am walking away no longer going to be ashamed of smiling as I will have a mouth restored! Highly recommend this clinic!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, courteous and professional staff. When you walk in you're greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was great. I usually hate going to the dentist but this visit definitely gave me a different perspective. 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal staff, got my top two wisdom teeth pulled last year and didn’t feel a thing. Bottom two just started to hurt and they got me in within a couple days to get them out. Highly recommend here, they’ll take great care of you!!

Fantastic experience: I went in to get a root canal because my dentist was booked. I was able to get in right away and found out I didn't need a root canal. It was the back molar and it was cracked, so I had to have it pulled. I have had issues with other dentists and anxiety attacks but Dr. Ahmed was very respectful, explained everything well and the extraction did not hurt at all. I was very impressed with the whole staff.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to the dentist in 6 years and called Artisan, a sweet lady answered and was happy to look and see if my insurance was accepted, they were prompt and responsive. They even got me in the same day I called! Everyone I worked with there was so nice to me, I honestly had a great experience, which is why I’m writing a review for them :) Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Lisa worked some magic and was able to get my elderly mother in on very short notice which was awesome. My mother dementia and some other health concerns, they took their time with her and allowed me to explain what and why they were doing certain procedures. Great experience! Already have our next appointment scheduled !
