Weaver and Stratton Pediatric Dentistry- Orange Park

Negative experience: Quantity and not quality driven. Female dentist is off putting and dismissing. And having to wait months for an appt.

Fantastic experience: My son woke up with his gum swollen around a tooth. I was able to get a new patient same day appointment and everyone here was so wonderful and sweet! Im so glad I picked this dentist office. They even give the kids a token after their visit and they can pick out their own prize! Great place to take you kids!

Fantastic experience: We went in for an emergency visit and Dr Megan and their entire team were literal angels and I can’t express enough how thankful I am for their kindness and professionalism especially considering this emergency was caused by another practice. They handled it immediately and I’ll never return to the other place. I will only ever trust Weaver & Stratton with my kids dental!!highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: When my 19 month old fell and chipped her tooth, they were able to get her in right away, took x rays and made sure her teeth were healthy. The dentist and assistant were very gentle and patient. Would take my kiddos here again!

The office is super clean and kid-friendly—my child actually looks forward to going now (which I never thought I’d say about the dentist!). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist who truly makes kids feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my kids there for over 20 years. A few years ago my family had some unforeseeable issues. They fixed my son’s teeth for no cost. They have recently done work on my autistic grandson. They are truly the best I have ever been to. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I came to my son’s appointment 10 days early on accident. Instead of sending me away, the Receptionist took time to see if the Hygienist and Doctor could squeeze me in. Not only did they accommodate my mistake, it was (as always) a pleasant experience. All Hygienists are thorough and informative. Doctor Stratton has fantastic bedside manner with both patient and parent. He educates me on the development of my son’s teeth and gives options for the future that are in my son’s best interest. Fantastic experience: Love this place. Went here as a kid for braces and cleanings. Now my kids go here. They definitely go above and beyond to ensure the kiddos have a great experience. Now they give out coins for the kids to get a reward out of a machine during checkout. Still get the goody bags with toothbrush, floss, and tooth paste. Hard to replace Dr Weaver but Dr’s Phillip and Noah are doing a great job.

Fantastic experience: Today was my son’s first successful visit with a Dentist. My son is beyond particular and struggles with some sensory issues. The last two attempts to see have my son seen (with two other Dentists) ended before the dentist was ever able to exam my son. Today my son was instantly as ease and took to Dr. Stratton immediately. He had such a way with my son and I will now be a forever patient.

Negative experience: Recommended several unnecessary procedures on my child that failed within a week resulting hundreds of out of pocket expenses. Unethical and unprofessional practice. Watch EOBs for over charges and question expensive recommendations. Left the practice for Growing Health Smiles.

Fantastic experience: My girls love going here. My 2 year old puts up a fight, but they still gently get the job done. They keep up with everything and give helpful tips!

Fantastic experience: We love Dr Stratton and Mrs Tonya. They are so great with Cj our son who is non-verbal with severe autism. Mrs Tonya is very patient with Cj and both Doc Stratton and Tonya have love in there voice when speaking with my boy. It means the world to us as his parnets. Inaddition the office personnel is the greatest. We highly recommend Doc Stratton and his staff. Cj if he could talk would be saying thank you to the Mrs Tonya and Doc Stratton for caring...

Fantastic experience: We consistently have had a wonderful experience at W&S. Most recently we have visited with Dr. Meegan and she is so informed, patient, kind, understanding and experienced with children of all energies (lol) My son is a piece of work with his tactics to avoid being seen, but with Dr. Meegan's loving approach and creativity, we were able to have a successful appointment. As a Mom, I never once have felt rushed or judged in any way. The assistant who was with Dr. Meegan has a huge heart for kids and it shows. We will always return to W&S as we strongly believe we are always in good hands. The front office staff are eager to help, very polite, and make everyone feel welcomed. The place all together is clean, kid friendly, provides safe toy options while waiting, and everyone is overall just happy to be there is the feelings we are left with.

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going to Weaver & Stratton since my 21 year old was 3. It’s been a family affair. Between nieces and nephews it is 8 kids within my family alone that have gone to W&S… It’s not one time that I have been disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this dentist office to any parent with special needs children. My daughter has always had a positive experience here. My daughter has autism and was not cooperative during our initial visits, but Ms. Tanya and the other staff members were so patient and kind that my daughter eventually trusted them and now lets them do her regular cleaning. We go every 3 months and I honestly couldn't be happier with the services that have been provided to us. I will forever be grateful for their support and kindness.

Fantastic experience: Dana and Dr. Megan were great with my daughter! The office is beautifully painted with zoo animals and there are toys and TVs for the children in the waiting area. Front desk staff was super nice, they had cute welcome boards at the front welcoming all the patients of the day and congratulating children getting their braces on and off. TVs in the ceiling above the exam chair help to keep the kids distracted during the exam. Great experience and will be happy to return in 6 months!

Fantastic experience: I took all my 3 kids plus my niece along for the ride and the dental hygienist and dentist were amazing. It was chaos but they were so sweet and calming. My son is usually terrified and it was my baby’s first visit, but everything went smoothly because they worked so well with them.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing! My 2 & 5 year olds were terrified and slowly they bought their trust. Shawn (I think that’s her name), one of the hygienists is so patient and knows what to say to help them be more comfortable and they actually allow her to clean their teeth.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this location for a few years now and I must say that they have always been great but Dr. Megan is amazing my 5yr old got her 1st cavity and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. My 11 year has severe anxiety in the chair and she is so accepting and thinks outside the box for treatments rather than just drilling and causing more stress and tears. 10 out of 10 highly recommend

From the very beginning, she has been amazing at gaining my son's trust and putting him at ease. She even remembers what he likes and has been there for us every step of the way. My son really likes her, talks about her frequently, and always looks forward to seeing her. Even during some of the more uncomfortable procedures, she somehow managed to keep him calm and comfortable. We've also had a couple of dental emergencies, and the staff has been incredibly accommodating and understanding, even though they are always quite busy. Their dedication and care truly stand out, and we are so grateful for their support. I highly recommend this practice for anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled dental team for their child.

I can’t imagine ever taking Eric anywhere else. Thank you for all of the experiences that we have had through the office whether it be the front or a fill-in hygienist. These guys are top notch and hold the parents and kids accountable for their oral health for the best possible outcomes, without passing judgement. My oldest is ASD and is terrible about brushing, and we have never felt less than because of that. They bring their concerns and expertise across with the upmost kindness and compassion and I recommend everyone I know to come here

Fantastic experience: I understand that children with challenges can't be easy to handle. Especially one with ASD and mouth sensitivities when it comes to sensory, but the hygienist today handled it amazingly and worked with my son and me as a mom. She didn't force anything and understood that there was 1 tool specifically he was saying he was scared of. She and Dr. Stratton made it so he didn't see the tool at all and didn't even try to use it. WE GOT THE CLEANING AND EXAM DONE! That was a huge win! I'll never go anywhere else. I grew up in Dr. Startton's office and my son will too as long as possible!
