Fantastic experience: I am absolutely % terrified of going to the dentist so much so that I have had teeth unnecessarily removed. Someone I know had an amazing experience at this office and suggested i give them a try... I wanted to save the teeth I have left so I did. The experience I had was unimaginably smooth . The staff here are phenomenal from the reception to the finance department to the dental assistants to the dentist .I am going to have my teeth forever !! No more removing teeth for fear of pain. I was never left in the dark for the procedures being done in my mouth, I never felt like I was being made to feel like a fool for being afraid instead I was shown patience and kindness, I would highly recommend you give them a try I am a very satisfied customer you will be too!

Fantastic experience: The staff here is excellent. The doctors are knowledgeable and highly skilled in their techniques while providing top notch dental care. The RDAs are very personable and help make every treatment go smoothly, which helped my son, who is not a fan of the dentist, feel more comfortable. The way they work together with the doctors creates a calm professional environment that helps patients feel comfortable and at ease. The office is very clean and most importantly no wait time.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank the dental staff and Dr C for his extraordinary compassion he showed at 7:45am with a dental emergency I was experiencing. On call service responded to my call Sunday morning and had me in the chair Monday at 745am for a completely cracked tooth. I was home in bed by 945am! The office is open, clean and welcoming and so is the staff. Thank you Dr. C

Negative experience: I had had great experiences at this office all the time as a person with disability. However, the most recent visit was different. I have severe ME/CFS — each dental visit is a significant physical event with real recovery time. I scheduled a cleaning and implant on the same day to avoid multiple trips. The implant was postponed (bone not ready — understandable), but when cavities were found during the routine check, the doctor had an open appointment slot and chose not to address them. I was rebooked 5 weeks out instead. He knows my condition. He knows I cannot brush every day. For patients managing serious chronic illness, 'just come back' is not a neutral statement. I felt my time, my appointment, and my situation were not taken seriously. EDITED to add: Thank you for your response. I want to address a few things. Regarding the appointment slot — my frustration was never just about the time. I was not informed that my appointment was only 15 minutes, or that it was only to check the bone. Dr. Moscowitz had told me he would do the implant at my next visit, so I booked based on that. I did not find out otherwise until I was already there. That is the core of my concern, and it has not been acknowledged. I also want to address your claim about accommodating patients with disabilities. Your facility has one single designated parking spot for disabled patients. You do not have automatic doors. You have two heavy doors that are difficult to open for someone in a wheelchair. I am bedridden and use a wheelchair. These are not minor details for patients with severe physical disabilities — they are barriers. Listing a private parking lot with disabled spotS and first floor access as evidence of accommodation, while these issues still exist, is misleading. I have been a patient here for years and my past experiences have been good. That is why this situation was so disappointing. I am not trying to damage this practice — I am trying to be heard accurately.

Fantastic experience: Everything about this practice is wonderful. First; Due to bad experiences in childhood, I had a lifelong fear of the dentist. Dr Carmine cured me of my fear of the dentist! The front desk staff, hygienists, assistants and Dr Carmine are all incredible. They are caring, they listen to you and always let the patient decide what they’re comfortable with. I cannot say enough about this office and our whole family is blessed to have found them.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the BEST dental experience I’ve ever had. I have had dentist experiences in the past that have made me feel so anxious and stressed, but this office is the literal definition of peace of mind. Dr. Coriglioano and his dental hygienist are so kind and reassuring. They actively listened to my concerns, checked everything I asked to check, and checked in consistently as they did my filling. They also did my filling same day, and it was the quickest appointment ever and absolutely painless. I have never been so relaxed at a dental appointment before. Everyone was also very funny and friendly which helped me feel comfortable too. I appreciate an office that cares about its people and patients, and especially for those of us who are very anxious. ☺️

Fantastic experience: I am SO terrified of going to the dentist, I basically conceded to not using the right side of my entire mouth just to avoid a root canal. After some support from family, I reached out to the Dental Center and set up an appointment with Dr. Corigliano. I cannot express well enough how pleasantly SHOCKED I am by my wonderful experience (never thought i'd say "wonderful" about a root canal). The entire process was ZERO pain. I mean zero; not even any pressure. Dr. Corigliano supported my anxiety disorder in giving me a Xanax beforehand (i'd run out of my own prescription) and the procedure was completed in less than an hour. The full staff here also work very collaboratively and seem to genuinely support one another with their various specialties and skills. Sidenote- Dr. Corigliano also kills it with the dad jokes. I sincerely felt like I left a med spa; my coworkers were shocked that I was back online for work the same day. If you're looking for a supportive dental experience, this is your place. I simply don't have time to leave reviews, but I had to for this one.

Fantastic experience: On 12/8/2025, I finally confronted a long-overdue issue that I had postponed for far too long. Dental concerns can make anyone feel vulnerable, embarrassed, or hesitant—and I am no exception. However, Dr. Robert Ashman and Dr. Helly Shah transformed that fear into confidence. After discussing my case together, they each played a significant role in giving me the opportunity to begin a new chapter in my life—one with a genuinely beautiful smile. My experiences with Dr. Shah have always been marked by kindness, warmth, attentiveness, and unwavering professionalism. When it came time for my procedure with Dr. Ashman, I was both nervous and hopeful. What I did not expect was the level of compassion, patience, and reassurance he and his assistant (Natalie)would provide. The appointment evolved into a kind of counseling session—one neither of us realized we needed but both appreciated. Dr. Ashman went above and beyond to meet my needs in every possible way. He did not simply perform a procedure; he created an environment where I felt genuinely seen, heard, and prioritized. He explained every step meticulously, answering each of my questions with clarity, patience, and respect. He ensured I fully understood the process, and he continually reaffirmed that my comfort was his highest priority. He double- and triple-checked that I would experience no pain, and his attention to detail gave me confidence throughout the entire procedure. My procedure and the entire process took about 45 minutes. The stitches were so precisely and skillfully placed that when I went home and looked in the mirror, I joked to myself that he must have once been a seamstress. Despite everything he may have personally been carrying, he remained thoroughly professional, compassionate, and fully present. We even laughed together about “tongue toys” while he was securing the stitches—an unexpected moment of humor that made the experience even more memorable. Dr. Ashman is truly one of the best to ever do it. He treated me as though he genuinely understood what it feels like to be in the patient’s position, and he showed empathy and expertise in equal measure. His assistant mirrored that same level of care and attentiveness, making the entire experience exceptional from beginning to end. If you don’t come here, you are missing out on one extraordinary, life-changing experience. I recommend Dr. Ashman, and Dr. Shah wholeheartedly—and I would choose to go through this process again without hesitation. He is nothing short of amazing. I would like to give ten stars but five it is.

Negative experience: I have always had positive experiences with your dental center, but unfortunately today was an exception. I called the office requesting either a later appointment for today or to reschedule, as I was unable to leave work at the previously scheduled time. I work in law enforcement, and at times it is simply not possible for us to leave at a specific time due to the nature of our duties. The receptionist I initially spoke with was understanding and informed me that she would speak to her supervisor, “Wendy.” However, when I was transferred to Wendy, her approach was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. The first thing she said was, “Hi, this is Wendy. I am not going to be able to change the appointment because it shows you canceled twice and it is unfair to Dr. Shah. We are going to charge you $100 because you canceled on us twice.” What she did not acknowledge is that the first cancellation she referenced occurred in October of this year and that appointment was for my daughter, not for me. I would have been more than willing to clarify this if I had been given the opportunity. I also understand that cancellation fees exist for a reason, and I have never had an issue paying the $50 fee for either myself or my daughter when necessary. What concerned me most was not the fee, but the tone and lack of professionalism. Rather than asking about the prior appointment or trying to understand the situation, I was met with rudeness and assumptions. It was disappointing, especially considering people often come to medical appointments already stressed or dealing with difficult days, something front-office staff should be mindful of. Because of this interaction, I am very disappointed and will no longer be continuing my services with this office. It’s not what you say, but how you say it and today’s experience made that very clear.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had severe dental anxiety for as long as I can remember. I’ve literally fainted in a dental chair before. In the past, I’ve had dentists and hygienists make comments or look disgusted by the state of my mouth, and I never got any real explanations or guidance on how to improve things. It left me feeling embarrassed and hopeless about my teeth. I’ve been to so many different offices over the years, and I truly thought all dental visits had to feel stressful or judgmental. That completely changed here. From the moment I walked into the waiting room to the moment I left, every single part of my experience was amazing. The staff were kind, the dentist, Dr. Moscowitz, was gentle and professional, and the dental assistant, Domanique made me feel genuinely cared for. They explained what was happening, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with total respect. Even with a laser in my mouth, I felt calm — something I never thought I’d say about a dental visit! The environment, the management, and the overall energy of this team are unmatched. For the first time in my life, I left a dental office feeling grateful instead of scared. I truly believe I’ve found my forever dentist (and my forever dental tech, too).

Fantastic experience: My experience at The Dental Center was fantastic! Every employee I came in contact with was very friendly and informative. Dr. Corigliano made sure that I knew everything that was going on with my teeth and, knowing I didn't have dental insurance, he let me know what my options were. I needed a tooth extraction and he and his assistant, who was extremely personable, made me very comfortable in knowing that I was in excellent hands. There's still more work to be done on my teeth and I couldn't ask for a better dentist (or assistant!) to handle this for me. If I could award 10 stars, I would!

Fantastic experience: Being someone with a HUGE dental phobia… I go through crying, hyperventilating, and a full blown grown up meltdowns before I set foot in a dentist’s office. It takes me such a long time to actually work myself up to the point where I can overcome the emotions and show up. Well, today… I showed up, sat down, and while I had the urge to run, I got through it. The Dental Center is amazing. Dr. C asked several times if I was okay and if I needed a break. I had a great experience. Everyone on staff is caring and sort of got me. I was able to get over my fears and I’m actually excited to come back for my cleaning. I truly recommend this dental practice to anyone that’s living with fear of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Helly Shaw is the most amazing dentist here she is so funny and entertaining she acts like your day 1 sister her work is amazing your teeth will look brand new and it will look like you had no problem in the first place and Zack is an amazing person to talk to while getting your teeth cleaned and a special shout out to javar because he is the same and very entertaining Everyone at the front desk is very kind and courteous, and your teeth is clean

They did a great job with making sure I was numb. Went in for an extraction tooth was out before I even blinked. I did not have dental insurance their out of pocket prices were very reasonable and saw me same day in a pinch. Don't wait like I did.

Dominique was, as always, warm and a true professional. I had a cracked tooth that needed attention, and I was also on a limited budget. Fantastic experience: A revelation. I had a broken tooth and no insurance. The Team suggested that I stay and get the tooth fixed, and that financials could be worked out. For a reasonable rate, they gave me a spectacular new smile! I'm thrilled! My former dentist was tremendous, but The Dental Center in Bloomfield outclasses them.

If you are a person that gets nervous in a dentist chair like me then please don’t hesitate to come see him he will take that fear away and makes you feel comfortable ! Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the experience I had trying to cancel my dental appointment. I was already aware of the $50 cancellation fee and fully accepted that. However, instead of processing the cancellation, I was met with repeated pushback and questions, even after clearly stating I wanted to cancel. The process felt more like pressure than service. After a frustrating back-and-forth, Wendy finally acknowledged my request—only to then inform me that the fee had now doubled to $100. This sudden and unexplained increase is unacceptable and felt like a punitive measure simply because I stood firm in my decision. I expect professionalism and respect when dealing with any office, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I won’t be returning.

Dr. C took time to explain every procedure needed and that was being performed in detail and that I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. Fantastic experience: Let me start off with saying I have not been to a dentist in over a decade. This place made me feel so comfortable. I had fun at the dentist. Weird right? But true. When I first walked in, front desk was so nice and helpful. Then the star of the show, Dominique, took my nervousness away. He made me laugh the entire time. He also answered all of my questions. Then my hero Dr. Shah fixed me. She was gentle, amazing, sweet and informative. I am happy I chose this dentist office. I will never look for another dentist office again because I found my permanent one. I will definitely refer everyone i know to come here. And I am not exaggerating about my experience. Try them at least one time and you will thank me.

Fantastic experience: I went in to the Dental Center a week ago for a fill in. I was greeted by the friendly front desk ladies who checked me in and ensured I had everything organized prior to meeting with the dentist. The dental assistant Domanique remained both friendly and professional during our encounter. He was gentle with his check up procedure and x-ray photography technique. Dr. Moscowitz joined shortly after with a welcoming smile and began my work up to fill my tooth. They worked well as a team and kept me comfortable during the process. I paid for my service out of pocket and the price was affordable for me. I had a great experience and will be returning for further dental care.

From the extremely polite women at the front desk to the incredibly nice lady who cleaned my teeth, I could not have asked for a better first experience. Fantastic experience: Excellent service everytime I've gone. Dr. Shah and Dr. Ashman are my doctors. They work with their clients extremely well and with the best of care. Both doctors are patient, caring and will explain things to their client well to make you feel at ease. Recommendable dentist office as well. Staff are great .

Negative experience: It’s been LESS than a year since they put this crown on my tooth. I paid them more than 1000$ for the crown that lasted less than one(!) year and broke today when I was chewing an apple. When crowns supposed to stay in and be fine for up to 25-30 years. Expensive and inefficient. Would NOT recommend.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to a dentist in 9 years as growing up with braces has haunted me with dental experience. However, I started to have a pain on one side of my mouth so it was time to go in. The dental hygienist was very very patient with me and did a great job with my cleaning and making sure I was ok during the process. We have a great plan to get me back caught up and I love that everything is done in sessions to not overwhelm with me. But with just one cleaning I can see an improvement. I have to come back for some additional work but I can't wait in a few months to be back on track as well as using them moving forward. The doctor also went over my X-rays and even gave me kudos on my overall hygiene even though it's been a while. They all made me feel very comfortable and I can't thank them enough. Dr. Shaw has given me faith in dentist again

Fantastic experience: Dr Shah and Rose have taken care of my teeth over the past 3 years. They are exceptional providers! The office is clean and well maintained and I’m forgetful so they do send you appropriately timed reminders. All in all great experience.

The first time I came here a few years ago I filled out a questionnaire about my past experiences and comfort levels/preferences. The staff really goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is a good one. Dr. Shah is very friendly and professional, I always feel at ease when she's treating me and I always feel like she's very thorough. I want to give a special shout-out to Rose who did my last cleaning, it was the best cleaning I've ever experienced. She is very thoughtful, patient and made it all feel so quick and painless.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Dental Center since 2021 and must say it has been the BEST experience I’ve had with a dental team thus far. There is great access (late evenings and Saturdays) which is a plus and it is a location where families can attend with the guarantee of quality care. Can’t forget there is also a parking lot designated for patients. I have recommended this practice to many of my friends and family. Fantastic experience: Just had a double Implant surgery which was performed by Dr. Ashman! He is phenomenal and the procedure went unbelievably smooth and painless!! He is very caring and incredibly knowledgeable!! Also, his assistant Natalya was awesome very efficient and caring including a follow up check in call!! Great experience the consumate professionals! Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and welcoming the moment you arrived. I walked in scared to death and walked out pain free and happy. Dr. Moscowitz is the best dentist ever, I will never see another Dentist. I had my wisdom tooth pulled, it was over within 2mins. Jennie and Dr. M had excellent chairside manners, empathy and had the ability to put me at ease. This was the best experience I ever had in my entire life. I referred my entire family and friends to see Dr. Moscowitz.

Fantastic experience: While searching online for emergency dental care, I came across several reviews praising The Dental Center located in Bloomfield so I gave them a call . It was the holiday weekend (4th of July) so the office was closed, but I was able to reach a Dr who told me that if I came in as a walk-in the following Monday, they would receive me. I was extremely nervous when I came in with a broken tooth that was causing severe pain and swelling and the service I received was the absolute BEST dental care I have ever had. The Nurse Assistant, Natalia was so very compassionate and understanding, allowing me to hold her hand throughout the full service, while my Dentist, Dr Moscowitz was very understanding, attentive and gentle…providing exceptional service. I am SO glad that I chose The Dental Center for my service and will absolutely return if I am ever in need of dental service again. I am very, very grateful for such a wonderful experience. ✨✨

Fantastic experience: The Dental Center is the best among the best! My dental hygienist, Rose helps me maintain my smile and occasionally reads me the Riot Act about using the Water Pik :)...but that's a good thing! Dr. C, my dentist, is a true specialist using all of the state of the art equipment at the Center. He has saved my teeth and averted a train wreck in my mouth! It's also notworthy that the Practice has made a substantial investment in technology. I'm sort of a techie and am impressed by the 3D imaging equipment Dr. C used to render my crown to get all the dental work done in the same visit. I highly recommend the Dental Center for its staff, technology and good old fashioned customer service. Seven stars!

Fantastic experience: I just started seeing this dentist and I am very happy with the Dr. Moscowitz and Dr. Domanique. Both are very kind and very good doctors. I loved my hygienist I think she was excellent and very kind. One complaint I have is reception/front desk, they seem to have attitudes, are very rude and not kind as the other staff(no smile and just very rude). But besides the receptionists I think this is a great practice for your dental needs.
