Fantastic experience: I had an unexpected, sudden onset issue that needed immediate attention as I was in pain. Rose, the manager and receptionist, gave me an appointment the very next day and I was seen by Dr. Rahaghi and Karen, his wonderful dental assistant. After describing my pain, a few x-rays were taken and Dr. Rahaghi examined me. He then spent a good amount of time explaining what was probably the cause of my pain and told me what I could do to alleviate it in a few days. My pain has lessened and I feel reassured about my condition. I always receive the highest quality care as well as compassion at New Jersey Dental Arts. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The office is immaculate and beautifully decorated for the various seasons. I could not imagine a better experience for my total dental care and feel lucky to have this high quality of care so conveniently located to our home. Thank you Dr. Rahaghi and staff!!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to the dentist in a long time because I have a very deep-seated fear of the dentist. The hygienist and the dentist were absolutely lovely and explained everything to me/ what to expect. They were patient and mindful of where I had discomfort and still did a very thorough job of cleaning up quite a bit of buildup. The hygienist also did a great job of explaining how to take care of my wisdom teeth that I still have which I knew nothing about. There was absolutely no judgment, no harsh words: bedside manner was perfect on all accounts. I have to give an extra gold star to Rose who really brought me over the line when I first called the office. She was genuinely so kind and explained everything to me and assured me that I would be in good hands. She was right! They have cured my fear of the dentist and I will be a regular, star patient going forward!!

Mrs. Russomano who always greets you and even goes to put money in your parking meter, Rose at the desk is absolutely excellent with all your insurance issues and she make sure that everything is taken care of so efficiently, all the hygienist are extremely professional and proficient and the doctor is just simply excellent. I had a lot of neglect and not only do they make you feel comfortable they take care of everything in the most cost efficient and completely painless way. I was dreading having an extraction and not only did they make sure to consult with my other doctors but it was the most easy and painless thing. I highly recommend them. Oh, I can’t forget the beautiful and adorable little mascot that walks around all day the prettiest, most well-behaved dog you’ve ever seen.

The cleaning I got was thorough and Melanie frequently checked to ensure I was comfortable throughout. This was important since I had been tardy in dental care. Dr Rahagi explained his recommendations clearly, with supporting images from X-rays and pictures, and I look forward to implementing the next steps.

Negative experience: Got a $50 bill for an appt for my son that we showed up to - all because we left after 15 min because the Dr was running late and they wanted to redo all of his X-rays, when I had already emailed them. This is an insurance scam, I filed a complaint with our insurance company and the State - Saw your response, I had multiple phone calls and emails with your office, if the X-rays weren't acceptable then that should have been disclosed prior to the appointment - you shouldn't subject a minor to unnecessary radiation - I left because you were running late I showed up the appointment on time -

Never thought I would “look forward” to a dental appointment, but I do now. I’ve been going there for several years now- 3x/year bc I had some previous periodontal work done so opt for more frequent check-ups now. Every check-up/cleaning has been THOROUGH! I highly recommend to anyone new to the area, or anyone looking to switch providers.

Fantastic experience: I can't say that having fillings done is a pleasant experience, but I like and trust Dr. Rahaghi and his team. He's mindful of his patients' needs, patient and thorough in explaining what needs to be done and follow-up. It's also telling that there is vurtually no staff turnover-they have been there for a long time, and some of them were holdover from the prior dentist. That tells me this is a business run by someone who appreciates his staff. Rose in particular is a delight. I've been a patient there for years and will continue going there.
