Fantastic experience: I’m a fairly new patient to Dr.Price, I’ve been going to the practice for about a year. Anytime I have to call or go in for appointments the staff is always friendly and personable. I would/do recommend Dr.Price to anyone looking for a dentist.

Melanie was fantastic with new patient cleaning and X-rays, Dr Price was very helpful in explaining the next steps to take care of my dental needs and Michelle and April were great to work with getting new patient enrollment, appointments and follow ups scheduled. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Poinsett Dental, and I was very pleased with my appointment. April and Michelle are very professional office staff who went over my insurance and treatment plan carefully. Melanie took her time getting clear x-rays and cleaning/polishing my teeth. She also shared tips for more effective flossing. Dr. Price was kind and thorough, going over each area of concern with me, even showing me the xrays and models. Their support team members helped throughout the process. Overall, a fabulous, seamless team approach!

Negative experience: Follow up to Susan Williams — my mom went to another dentist. Dr Price was rude and rushed. Told my mom she needed an expensive root canal on #14. Went to another dentist and confirmed there was nothing even wrong with #14. Instead #15 had a crack but STILL did not need a root canal. I am truly sad that Dr Cofer has retired. He did a great job with my extreme dental phobia and my kids. Never had an issue. This is why I referred my Mom. Unfortunately, it appears this dental office has now become one of those dental offices where you are just a number and always feel the need to check the diagnosis and cost.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for many years. I first saw Dr. June Price last year. I was on my way out of town, when I broke a front tooth. I was in a panic! I called Dr. June Price at Poinsett Dental. I explained my problem and my time constraints. I was so grateful when the staff was able to get me in with a same day appointment. Dr. Price was so kind and so thorough. Dr. Price corrected my problem quickly, and it allowed me to make it to my destination on time. It was a great experience for me and I would highly recommend her. Her staff is also fantastic with many years of experience.

Fantastic experience: Let me start this with full disclosure that I have always been terrified of going to the dentist. It always gave me intense anxiety to the point I made myself sick over it. Last year, Dr. June Price took over the previous owner's practice. I had an emergency, and made my first appointment with Dr. June Price. I went to the appointment with massive anxiety and uncertainty as this was a new doctor and a new experience for me. Dr. Price was so kind and explained what I needed in great detail. She made me feel very comfortable. She proceeded to correct the issue, while explaining everything she was doing in great detail as she went. Folks, when I say this, it's absolutely true. I immediately realized when she finished that I was no longer afraid of the dentist! No more white knuckles or panic attacks! Just complete peace with the whole experience, and a fantastic job on my tooth. Since that day, I've had a lot of work completed that I had been putting off because of my original fear. So here's the giant take away. Dr. June Price is a wonderful, kind and caring doctor, and just such a wonderful person. She is thorough and excellent with every procedure she does. The best thing is the fact that she completely took away my fear and anxiety, and I've not experienced it not one single time since my very first visit! I am so very grateful for her! Plus, might I also say that Dr. Price has hands- down the best staff I've ever seen! These ladies, this TEAM is unbeatable! Please give Dr. June Price at Poinsett Dental a try! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Negative experience: Since Dr. Cofer has retired, my experiences at Poinsett dentist office has not been good. I was recently told I needed a root canal and that I also had a small cavity. I felt like everything was rushed and the discomfort from what I thought was me grinding my teeth was not addressed. I was just handed a referral for my root canal which was going to prove to be very, very expensive and sent on my way. I got a second opinion where I found out I DO NOT need a root canal, nor do I have a cavity. I would not recommend this office to anyone and am very grateful that I found a different dentist who took the time to do a thorough exam, listen to me, and then explain fully what needs to be done.

Negative experience: UPDATE: Dr Cofer retired and new dentists took over. ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS. My mom was a happy customer with Dr Cofer. I myself used to love Dr Cofer. Dr. Price is a crook! Not only did she never explain anything to my Mom but told her she needed a root canal and one crown. She has had numerous bad experiences with this dentist. She got a cap on her front tooth and the tooth didn’t even match but she was then gaslit into accepting it. We encouraged her to get a second opinion. She went to Dr. Warner and they said NO root canal was necessary at all. She needed 4 crowns due to grinding (an issue Dr Price wouldn’t even address when my mom told her about it) and that price was LESS THAN what Dr Price had quoted her for ONE CROWN. I’m disgusted. This is a classic example of dentists taking advantage of older people. My mom has cried every time she left appts with Dr Price. Do not go here. Dr Cofer would be appalled at what this place has become Old one: I have been terrified of the Dentist for over a decade after a horrific experience. When my kids started seeing Dr. Cofer, I cancelled three appointments before I managed to work up the nerve to go. I was so terrified. I felt sick to my stomach. When I came in, everyone was so incredibly kind. They gave me headphones so I could listen to music and it cancelled out the sound of the drill. They covered me in what looked like a handmade blanket so I’d be warm and they even applied chapstick so the instruments and suction wouldn’t dry out my lips. I didn’t even feel the numbing. He numbed next all the way, would lift the headphones to check in, and patted me on the shoulder to make sure I was okay. I understand why my children love their dentist. The entire staff is PHENOMENAL. You will NOT find another team as great as Dr. Cofer and his staff. My appreciation for them is endless! Not only have they begun a new perspective on dentists for me but they’ve started my kids on the right foot!!! Thank you, Dr Cofer and Staff!!!!

Fantastic experience: First time going here. Met with Dr. Katie Peterson to consult about getting dentures. She was very good at explaining the whole procedure and professional. Her team that assisted her was fantastic. I had the work done in December with follow up's taking place 3 weeks there after. Shout out to the team. Treena, Kee, and KIKI. Dr Peterson is the best and I would recommend her highly for all services there. It was easy to give her 5 stars. The prices were the best around also, I got estimates from 4 different Dental offices in the area .

Negative experience: I have been with Mr. Cofer for years. I have no complaints everyone that works there are very nice they know you by name. They make you feel comfortable from the beginning to the end they definitely deserved five star and more Good Job !!!!! Sorry I have to change my 5 star to a 2 star. I didn’t find out about the new changes until the day I went in for my cleaning. They took more X-rays which I didn’t need and then they told me that I needed to get a deep clean which I wasn’t prepared for. So I asked can I just get my regular cleaning and I’ll schedule the other one for next time. They told me no it’s a waste of time ( their time) that really hurts when they tell you something like that. I have never had any issues the whole time I have been going there. Well I’m sorry to say but I won’t be going back there. They have lost a faithful customer.

I never feel a thing! They take such good care of me! They have been my husbands dentist his whole childhood! He absolutely loves Dr. Cofer! Why his family has pictures of Doctor Coffer in the old family albums! I first saw that & said, That’s crazy!! Now I know why ! It’s because they are family! Only wish I would have found them sooner! Fantastic experience: I was nervous meeting my new dentist as I have gone to this practice for many years. Josh was my hygienist and was very attentive and efficient. Dr Price, the dentist, was very personable and easy to talk to. She knows her stuff and I would recommend her as a Dentist.

Negative experience: Cleaning was not comfortable. Too many X-rays taken. I don’t need x rays 2xs a year. Wasted money. The treatment plan is not reasonable. My Dentist before did not detect these expensive issues. I m not satisfied

Fantastic experience: I had to go to D. Coffer to get a check up on how my gums were doing after two extractions and there was no charge and the exam only took a few minutes. That was fastest he has ever been. Am going back next week for molds to be taken and I feel really good about thanks to whole staff being so nice and gentle we have been seeing him since 1976 or 77 and he -they are great.

Negative experience: Recently I relocate to a new dentistry due to staffing issues after patronizing Dr. Cofer for over 10 years my family and I. Well, I was told I had 2-3 cavities only to find out I had 5, my husband was told he had none he had 2, an my son was told he had 1 an found out he had 9. So, if you attend this practice you may need a second opinion. Oral health is life or death. I'm so glad we found a new Dentistry that cares.

Because of a serious wreck I had when I was younger, his dental office became like a second home. They’d bring me right back if I was in pain and go to work. Fantastic experience: I met Dr Cofer & assistants yesterday for the first time. I found the staff very kind & helpful. I really like them texting me my appointments, reminders & whatever instead of phone calls. So much more convenient. I found Dr Cofer to be very easy to talk to & since I am terrified of dentist this is sooooo helpful to me. He actually took the time to talk about things other than dentistry. I found him to be very warm & caring. Probably one of the best things about him thou is he has a great sense of humor! Sense of humor makes things so much easier! I couldn’t see anything at all bad or wrong with his office or staff. Great place!

Fantastic experience: X Dr. Cofer has taken care of my 24 year old daughter, 20 year old son and 9 year old daughter for their entire life. I trust him and he's taken care of my dental needs since meeting him. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Cofer about 6 months before my daughter died. Every single person in that office has treated me with nothing but love and kindness and compassion even before my daughter died. They are very caring and I trust Dr .Cofer to do whatever he needs to do. He's coming up on his 49th anniversary in that practice. There isn't anything I wouldn't trust him with in my mouth or anything else for that matter. Everyone of his staff is very very sweet and compassionate.
