When I first came in, I was nervous because I had a badly infected tooth. Dr. Curcio immediately put me at ease, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Since that first visit, every appointment has been a great experience. Dr. Curcio is professional, patient, and truly cares about his patients’ well-being. The office is clean, well-run, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I’m genuinely grateful to have found a dentist I trust and would highly recommend Dr. Curcio to anyone—especially if you’re someone who gets anxious about dental visits.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Curcio for the past 5 years and I have had nothing but great experiences there. I first went there when my dental was running out and my current dentist didn't take it. He examined my mouth and noted how old the type of work my dentist was doing (like my cavity fillings being the silver kind still) and filled in all the excess cavities I had and they looked like they didn't even have fillings now! Since I started going there I've had much less problems with my teeth and am extremely satisfied with the services him and his team have provided me. If you want the best dental care possible, please stop down to his office and schedule an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve visited Dr Curcio for a regular teeth clean up, I was concerned about some cavities I had and he took care of them with some cleanup and some fillings. The Dr is very professional and also very nice. He heard my concerns and questions about improving the esthetics of my smile and promptly suggested options available and what he can do to fulfill my request. On top of that you don’t feel like you are at a dentist office. Dr Curcio, Astrid and Thalia make you feel like you’ve been part of the family for a long time. It was my first time going there but it felt like they already knew me for a long time. Will definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Curcio is my new dentist. I tried somewhere else nearby, just simply wasn’t as happy with them. I feel happy and comfortable in Dr. Curcio to get assistance from him and his team. All the team members are nice, and I’m happy that I didn’t have to wait so long to get started, when I had my appointment. I can tell he cares, cause he gave take home tips of how I can improve in my dental care. I always appreciate it when I can be educated more about self-care. Also, I felt the team were open to answer any of my questions in a nice manner. I also like how you get text messages right away of when your next appointment is. That is extremely helpful because some places will text only a week before the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Curcio is a great dentist I highly recommend! He takes time to listen, genuinely cares about his patients and the quality of his work. I'm very happy with his general dentistry and 3 crowns provided that perfectly matched my older existing teeth and fit perfectly. There is never a long wait and his staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating.

Negative experience: I started seeing Dr. Curcio in 2020 after moving to NJ and had been satisfied with his routine dental exams, bi-yearly cleanings, x-rays and his respectful staff. However, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing and I feel compelled to share it. On May 24, 2023, I went in for a regular cleaning and to have a fallen veneer fixed. I had eight upper front veneers from 2012, which had been trouble-free until the one that fell off. Dr. Curcio's x-rays revealed that another veneer was cracked and he recommended replacing all eight veneers with crowns due to gaps and bulkiness issues, as he stated. Dr. Curcio never mentioned that working on all eight front teeth/crowns in one day would be particularly challenging. Also failed to mention that replacing all these crowns in one session, with the amount of local anesthesia and the swelling in my gum would make the crowns shifting or loose when swelling comes down. Trusting his expertise, I didn’t question whether it was a durable solution. Due to my brief vacation time ( May 2023) as I work overseas. We agreed to start the crowns replacement during my next visit/ vacation , which was set for October 2023. Once I gave my consent to that , he rushed out of the room without even finish performing the required dental cleaning. Dr. Curcio's office, to secure their money ( so I wouldn't change my mind later), charged a hefty amount for the procedure and insisted on half the payment upfront, with the remainder due at the next ( October) visit. On October 17, 2023, I underwent the teeth prepping and impressions. On October 30, 2023, the crowns were placed. The entire procedure took nearly four hours, during which I was given excessive anesthesia and endured significant discomfort. Dr. Curcio appeared frustrated when I asked for breaks and even made comments about needing therapy. I was sent home with only basic instructions ( one advice; not to bite on apples on my front crowns ) and a medical mouthwash. Next day, I was off out of the country for my work. Less than a month later ( while on my work oversees ) on December 12, 2023, one of the front crowns fell off while flossing. It was an ordeal for me , especially my work location is not equipped with dental care and I had to travel to another region to have that crown cemented off again. Then, on June 30, 2024, another front crown came off while eating. Dealing with these issues in a work environment where I have limited access to dental care was incredibly distressing. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. Dr. Curcio seemed more focused on maximizing his profits than on providing quality care. I would not recommend this practice based on my experience.

Negative experience: In my first appointment with Dr. Curcio he used fancy photos to convince me I needed $3K of dental work; mostly new crowns to update old amalgam fillings. After the work, my “bite” had more pain and sensitivity after the work, which isn’t uncommon, I’ve had previous experience with fillings/crowns taking months to fully heal. The only thing he claimed he could do for me was prescribe PreviDent, which didn’t help. However, now over a year later, my teeth have never been the same. Potato chips, lightly steamed broccoli, M&Ms; I now have problems eating harder foods that I did not have prior to Dr. Curcio’s work. He may be fine for routine cleanings and fillings, but if you need substantial work done, I highly recommend getting a second opinion before wasting your hard-earned money.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with this dentist. The guy is a liar and a crook. I had veneers replaced at his office. My old veneers lasted for over 20 years. A little after a year of getting a new set from Curcio, my front veneer cracks. When I went back to see what happened, he threw every excuse in the book that it was my fault and not his. First, he told me I grind my teeth but he forgot that he had to shave my bottom teeth down because he did such a bad job with my top veneers they didn't fit properly. Then he tells me I eat chicken wings and that's what caused veneer to crack. Long story short I paid for a new front veneer. Well, I thought I was getting a veneer this guy put a crown instead not telling me. I found out after I found a new dentist. I also work in an industry where I meet lot of dentist. 100% of the dentists i met told me if they put veneers in and one cracked, they would replace it at no cost to the patient. Not Curcio! Cares less about the patient and their teeth and more about stuffing his pockets with your money. His office is old and has outdated dental equipment. I wouldn't use this guy if he was the last dentist on earth. He doesn't even deserve the 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I haven’t been to a dentist for a couple of years. I had to search for a new one, because of my dental insurance plan and from moving to a new residence. I kept pushing it off until I finally looked for one due to a toothache that started developing. Turns out I needed a lot of work. I knew I did. I’m usually nervous about dentist visits. But, Dr. Curcio made it much more pleasant than expected. I dreaded getting novacaine shots but I couldn’t even tell when he began injecting me. His staff is very friendly and worked with me when I had to make a last minute cancellation.

Negative experience: I rarely ever leave reviews unless I have to. This dentist either lied or something because the information he told us was opposite of what two other dentist told us. We went in for a cleaning a while back. He quickly cleans my teeth and says I NEED a deep cleaning and that I had two cavities. Was a little confused since i had a cleaning 6 months before and they mentioned nothing but went along with it. However this dentist aggressively pushed me to schedule the deep cleaning and cavity removal soon and their policy forces you to pay a deposit upfront for the upcoming procedures. My wife then comes out from her cleaning and she was told that she had a lot of cavities and NEEDED a deep cleaning as well and once again was pushed to schedule the procedures soon and also had to pay a deposit for that as well. The most alarming part was that she Just recently got a filling for a cavity (6 months ago) and this dentist literally said she had a cavity nearly exactly where she already had the filling. My wife told him she got a filling for a cavity in that location but this dentist says he doesnt see a filling…Feeling a little confused, we decided we wanted a second opinion and cancelled our deep cleaning appointment with this dentist. We got a second opinion and this new dentist says there are NO cavities and that the gums were healthy and no deep cleaning was necessary. In addition, while he was observing my wifes teeth, he says he sees a recent filling done in the exact location where this dentist misses it…we then go to a third dentist months later for a cleaning and this dentist proceeds to tell us that we had no cavities and that our gums were healthy and no deep cleaning was needed…. i dont understand how this dentist can tell us all of these things with our teeth while two other dentists tell us the opposite. All I know is if this dentist tells you something, you really should get a second opinion based on the experience we had.

Negative experience: I came in as a new patient and he didn’t introduce himself, nor was he welcoming or warm in any way. He proceeded to give me a cleaning and told me I needed a deep cleaning as well as fillings for 5 cavities!! He didn’t show me any X-rays either. I thought it was odd since I rarely ever have cavities so I went to get a second opinion. The other doctor told me I had NO cavities and my gums were healthy so deep cleaning was not necessary. I was shocked and angered that I was worried for no reason. It was just an overall disappointing experience and I will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: The hospital where I works has changed health insurance and we have been looking for good dentists online. Very lucky we found Dr. Curcio! He was very patient and explained what he had to do every step of the way. His movements are gentle, and to avoid the pain of the nerve blocks and injections, he will use topical anesthetics first. In short, he always thinks about you. The teeth Dr. Curcio filled for my wife looked perfect. No only Dr. Curcio, the whole team are fantastic. The girl at the front desk is warm and patient to answer your questions. The cleaning staff is also attentive. I have had my teeth cleaned at other clinics and found Maria cleaner and more comfortable. We give them ten stars!

Having dental anxiety everyone in that office was really nice and when it came to the cleaning she made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: My family has been patients of Dr. Curcio Fred for about 15 years now and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of expertise and care he provides. We always have a pleasant experience even when we have to get not so pleasant things done to our teeth. Staff is so friendly and accommodating specially receptionist Astri. Whenever we need something they immediately squeeze us in and and we know they truly wants the best for us. It’s like a family in there and coming in all these years we wouldn’t change it for the world. Always checking in on us and the family, love this place.

Fantastic experience: Went to Dr. Curcio to replace an old crown and couldn't be happier. New crown looks good and feels do much better. Dr. Curcio and his staff are very friendly and making and changing appointments is so easy. My family has been going here for years and I highly recommend them!

Front desk, Astrid explained everything to me what was covered under my insurance, and Dr. Curcio explained in detail every procedure I was going to have. They were very nice and patient with me. Fantastic experience: Dr Curcio and staff are great! The lady at the front desk is always very helpful .She answered all my questions related to the cost and benefits my healthcare insurance provided, she is also very friendly and helpful. Dentist is very patient. So far I had a couple of treatments with him and an extraction, and they have been painless compare to other dentist I been to. The office is always taking all Precautions to avoid covid . I will Recommend this doctor to anyone who dislikes dentist, I assure you your experience will change at this doctor’s office.

Fantastic experience: It all began a decade ago. A coworker recommended Fred Curcio as I was in search of a Dentist. To this day I am grateful for the referral. Throughout my entire experience I have been treated with such compassion and warmth from Doctor Curcio and his amazing staff. There mannerism and approach to situations exceeded any expectations I could have imagined. When an appointment is scheduled I do not feel like I am going to the Dentist rather I look forward to seeing friends and smiling faces. I do not visualize myself switching Dentists as I am extremely pleased.

Dr curcio saw that I was in need of a bridge or implants and he made a beautiful bridge for me and has helped me with the upkeep and making my visits comfortable. Fantastic experience: Very quick, thorough and professional. Took care of my 7 tooth extraction, sutures and new lower denture with as little trouble as possible. Even followed up with a call on Saturday to see how I was doing!! Wish I'd had it done sooner if I'd known it was this easy instead of fighting loose teeth and tooth pain!!
