Fantastic experience: Once again all of the employees were pleasant and helpful when I went to get my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was thorough and efficient in the time she took to clean my teeth. Dr. Nguyen is a professional and knowledgeable dentist. I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a quality and caring dental service.

Negative experience: Although the office is clean and organized, each time I’ve dealt with staff (other than the administrative staff) I have not experienced good bedside manner. I have extreme anxiety about going to the dentist and have medication I take prior to visits just to not have a panic attack but felt as though I was being ‘shamed’ during appointments which made it worse. I reached out to schedule an appointment only to find out my insurance is no longer accepted which is fine but when asking for my medical records so I can take them to a new provider, all I received was two xray photos via email and nothing more. I have never been satisfied but never made an issue of it but not providing my entire record when requested should be simple. I shouldn’t have to chase down my records. Based on my personal experience, I wouldn’t recommend services.

The doctor was great came in so friendly and showed me my only issue and went into detail regarding the remedy. Even the receptionist explained how the process of each upcoming appointment. Wasn’t a big dentist guy but I will gladly go back every 6 months

Negative experience: I used to go here and they were great. They referred me out to a periodontist for a gum graft, which prevented me from seeing them for about 9mos. When I called them to book a cleaning afterwards, they said they're no longer taking new patients with my insurance, and that I'm a new patient since I haven't seen them in 6mos. Even though they're the ones who referred me out :/

Fantastic experience: A follow up - just had another appointment with Always Dental (have had several) and it still feels like the first time… If you read the review below, nothing has changed. Everyone and everything is superb. Kudos to this practice!! My first appointment with Always Dental Care and it most certainly was a very positive experience. I am very pleased with the receptionist, the hygienist and Dr. Nguyen. My hygienist, Linda, was terrific! We got along just great and I felt like I had been coming to this office for a long time. She made me feel comfortable, and welcome and was sure to explain process that was set for new patients. After x-rays and a very thorough cleaning by Linda, the Dr. examined my mouth/teeth and discussed future visits and what to expect. It was a smooth function throughout. I am really glad I was referred to this dental practice and would highly recommend it.

Negative experience: I went in here for a routine cleaning and i spent about 40 minutes waiting to be called in. While in the waiting room i was listening to the 2 front desk women mock and make fun of a previous customer. It was very much in bad taste and pretty rude. I asked them how much longer i'd have to wait and they replied brusquely that i barely just got there. I walked out. You can keep your bad service and rudeness. There are better dentists in the area.

He is always doing whatever to make me, as the patient, comfortable especially taking my pain into consideration. Even the dental assistant is great. She took all pain into consideration during my cleaning. The front desk people were so friendly and easy to talk to.

Negative experience: Terrible experience with this dentist. I went in to fix a filling that had broken off. The gap that was left from the fallen filling was on the side of the tooth. Dr. Nguyen immediately recommended an amalgam filling or preferably a crown. I chose the amalgam due to the fact that i was paying out of pocket and was cheaper. When the filling was done, the contact with the other tooth was terrible and there was no floss line left. I came back to ask them to fix it a day later and he proceeded to tell me that the adjacent tooth is needed to support the amalgam filling and that's why there is no floss line left. He told me that if he tried to fix it, the filling would fall out and i would have to get a crown which was about 10 times more expensive. As a result of this I had to go to another dentist to fix his mistake and pay extra. The other dentist had to grind the filling to open up the floss line. On top of all this, the injection of the Novocaine was terrible. The injection site has been hurting for over a week. This dentist functions like a used car salesman and sells you junk work. Do yourself a favor and don't fix you teeth at the junkyard.

Negative experience: I am also writing and supporting Tiffany B. as someone who has recently learned about the treatment of a parent by your front desk staff, and I must say, I am deeply disturbed by what I heard in the recording of the interaction. The unprofessionalism, dismissive behavior, and accusations made by your staff are completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. Tiffany and her family are well liked and loved people. I truly hope the doctor contacts this family back. All of the 1 star reviews have to be true. All I know is that Tiffany’s review is 1000% true. The front desk gaslighted and manipulated the entire situation. It is alarming to think that a parent attempting to provide feedback about customer service was met with hostility and ultimately had their children dismissed from the practice. This response seems retaliatory and inappropriate, especially considering the situation could have been handled with understanding and professionalism. What I heard does not reflect the high standards of care and respect that patients should expect from a trusted healthcare provider. I strongly encourage you to investigate this matter thoroughly and address it immediately. The reputation of your practice is at stake, and I would hate for others to experience similar treatment. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and treated with dignity, even when conflicts arise. Negative experience: Dear Dr. Nguyen, Let me begin by saying that we absolutely loved you as our children’s dentist. This message is not a reflection of you but rather of your front desk staff, whose behavior today was both unprofessional and deeply concerning. I attempted to provide feedback regarding their communication, specifically asking for our son to be referred to as his nick name “BJ” vs. “Broderick” in your communications not your system to avoid confusion, and while we understood that his legal name cannot be changed in your system due to insurance requirements, the staff repeatedly spoke to me through text as if I was incompetent, it was a simple request and for whatever reason they didn’t like it and took their frustrations out on our family. Instead of addressing our concerns respectfully, they escalated the situation, made condescending remarks, and accused me of saying “what the Hell?” Which I don’t recall, which I found unwarranted and offensive but the icing on the cake is when they dismissed our kids from the practice. I recorded the call and their behavior was unacceptable It’s clear they want to win an argument vs. build rapport and deescalate any situation with unhappy customers . It was petty and unwarranted as I repeatedly told them on the call. When I expressed dissatisfaction, I was met with hostility, accused of violating HIPAA for whatever reason because I never asked for any medical information only asked to call my son by his nickname BJ, and my kids were dismissed from the practice without justification. Your staff even brought up personal anecdotes unrelated to the issue, further aggravating the situation. Barb and some other lady got on the phone being extremely condescending, which was extremely distressing and unprofessional from my point of view. Even with other low scoring reviews on here for your business you can see in their responses that they like to battle with customers not make it right. They meet people with hostility instead of trying to resolve the issue and just apologize for their actions. I am deeply troubled by how I was treated, especially since my feedback was given respectfully and in good faith initially, I admit I was frustrated but still never disrespectful to your staff when they called me. Which is very normal with conflict. Their responses, were dismissive, argumentative, and lacked basic customer service etiquette. They have left me feeling unheard and unfairly targeted as a consumer. Dr Nguyen, I would appreciate it if you could contact us directly to discuss this matter, as I was denied the opportunity to speak with you despite multiple requests. This has been a very upsetting experience, and I feel it is important for you to be aware of how your staff’s behavior is affecting your patients and possible new patients. I see their generic responses back to dissatisfied customers that scored them a 1 star and they are bragging about how they provide excellent customer service which is also alarming. Them bragging on themselves alone is concerning especially if someone has expressed dissatisfaction with their service. Dr. Nguyen. If you yourself could please give us a call. I have several friends that goes to your practice that have had several complaints about the front desk ladies also making fun of patients teeth and so many other concerning things. I’m sure you won’t receive this because they block customers to be able to speak with you which is so unfortunate for the practice but I still said I would give it a shot. I’m prepared for a generic response or some sort of lie in their response back disregarding their actions. We have already found another practice and I will continue to spread the word about your front desk staff. Honestly both ladies should be terminated from your practice. They took the coward route and dismissed our kids from your practice because the truth hurts. Honestly it felt discriminatory due to our kids having State Insurance because I called them out on their customer service practices. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Fantastic experience: I always have a fantastic experience during my visits. Each hygienist has been super kind and informative. The office staff is always helpful. Dr. Nguyen is so honest and just kindhearted. I have never felt more welcomed in any dental office, but Always Dental definitely makes you feel like family. My family of six, other than our 23 month old, sees Dr. Nguyen and we all rave about him to our extended family and friends! Thank you for taking care of all of us!

Fantastic experience: The office is well staffed, very professional and no drama. I have made this my new dental treatment home. The Dr. is very well organized and knows his dentistry and was able to help me with a cracked tooth during the pandemic height as they were one of the few open by appointment only. Negative experience: I visited this place because it has excellent service, but unfortunately after the doctor seen my teeth the he told me something and then changed his mind. When we spoke with him, his manner was disrespectful. It is considered that he expelled us from the place. This is unacceptable and I am very regretful of dealing with this place and I do not recommend it. You are the ones who have the inappropriate style and your clinic is known for responding to reviews that you are angels who do not make mistakes, but the truth is that you are horrible in dealing with patients

Fantastic experience: I do not enjoy going to the dentist. Who does? however, these staff members are the sweetest people. They don't judge, or bully you if your teeth aren't perfect. they are very informative, show you your xrays and problem areas so you know exactly what's going on. they always make sure you are comfortable. even though I don't enjoy the experience of getting my teeth cleaned, I always have a positive experience and leave feeling good about my teeth. I would recommend this place to anyone that doesn't like going to the dentist, as it helps me relax more going to a place that I like.

Negative experience: Very bad customer service. I was stuck in an accident and called the office that I will be late by 20mins and they cancelled my appointment and the next available was after couple of months. They need to be a bit more customer obssesed. In the past they have also been pretty late in getting me in for an appoinment and have waited like 30mins or so. This is more a comment for the frontdesk and not the dentist. The frontdesk is very rude and not very accomodating.

Fantastic experience: First of all, this is the only dentist local to me that accepts Medicaid for basic procedures- that alone gets them 4.5 stars in my opinion, because they are providing so many people with the opportunity to get dental care who otherwise might not be able to afford it. But they get 5 stars because they are also very kind, professional, helpful, and most significantly, great at what they do.

Negative experience: Huh...really a frustrating experience...i was looking for new dentist in this area and zeroed on always dental care. i ignored negative rvws assuming those are frustrated customers but when i called dentists office, i realized that front desk is bit arrogant then i change my mind to not to go with them. i reviewed all negative rvws again and i missed the point, dentist office didnt care about the customers' anguish and deliberately replied arrogantly to all customers who left negative rvws...huh...leaving more dent on dentist image...dentist office never bothered to call back the customers to understand their agony...you guys are treating teeth and charging hundreds of $$$ and not selling carrots...i also rvwd other dentists' negative rvws and realized other dentists office always tried to reach out to customers...this is fact checked with few of my acquaintances. there is no dearth of excellent dentists in this area but this arrogance and rudeness is enough to damage the reputation of such establishments forever...gud bye...

Fantastic experience: I have been scared of needles all my life and they were the first to pretty much took me a a week and the Dr is so gentle he does something different than others and then girls are all funny oh Dr is funny too

Negative experience: They deliberately did fluoride on my child's teeth despite sharing insurance details with them. They must have informed us that flouride would be charged out of pocket to us but they hide this information and billed to us. They didn't even have authorization of applying flouride. On contacting them they started threatening me for reporting to collections. I would not recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: Front desk staff are unprofessional and rude and will lie without issue. Very odd. I also find their responses to bad reviews (take a look at their responses to negative reviews lol) to be unprofessional. They basically call people who are leaving the negative reviews liars “you must have been at a different practice bc our staff are all professional”. The responses are almost antagonistic. Yikes!

Negative experience: The way I just listened to the front desk lady speak to my mother over the phone was significantly repugnant, especially considering it was unjustified. My mother spoke to your very politely even after you exuded such disrespect. Your front desk staff are disgusting people. FYI you can thank your front desk staff…you lost me as a patient. I will also never bring my grandmother there again as well. Respect is due to a dog. How dare you talk to patients like that.

Bonus…my teeth have that squeaky clean feeling too!

Negative experience: Oh my. I really had my feelings hurt here with the front desk ladies. I recently had a baby, so finally got around to scheduling an appt to care for a cavity I had went to this place prior to pregancy as I felt a cavity, but was told it was not and I just needed a mouthguard. The doctor and his assistant were extremely nice! After preganancy ( as you cannot go to the dentist while pregnant), I scheduled an appt and notified Rita I had a cavity to be fixed and it had grew so much I learned I needed a crown! I later learned she "assumed it was a small cavity so did not schedule enough time" Bec of her mishap I was not able to get the cavity fixed and after a baby it is not the pain I wanted to keep enduring in my tooth. I called later to speak on it and here is where I was meant with unpleasant energy. The first lady I spoke to was aggressive and very rude. I was shocked. No care or compassion. She did not really address the matter, no attentiveness to what I was addressing. She seemed to be in a bad mood or maybe having a bad day and the anger felt misplaced. I feel sorry for her as it must be hard to carry around so much anger. Then I spoke to Rita on the phone and as she was getting frustrated with the convo said " I am terminating this conversation" and made yet another assumption saying "I assume you are going elsewhere?" Yikes. Neither lady addressed the issue but instead gave many assumptions, lack of compassion, and bad energy. I hope these ladies find peace And treat themselves better hence treating patients better. Everyone deserves happiness including them and I was looking forward to getting my tooth fixed bec quite simply it hurts Lots going on here at this dentist! The Dr. however is really nice!

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist. I never got to watch TV while getting my teeth cleaned. Staff is wonderful. Everyone seems to care about your well-being. Im not used to being so pampered since my last dentist was so terrible - Community Medical & Dental Center in Trappe. They definitely deserve 1 star.

Fantastic experience: I've gone to Dr. Nguyen a number of times. He and his staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. I've had a lot of dental work over the years, and when my dentist of 40 years retired I have had nothing but bad luck. Lousy crowns, bridges and implants. Dr. Nguyen, set up a plan and is working to get my teeth all set for the next 30 years. So far so good.

Negative experience: Always Dental has extremely unprofessional staff, office staff will LIE without any issues. And Dr. Nguyen Truong treat patient based on what kind of insurance they have, if the insurance doesn’t pay much well he won’t find any caries/tooth decay in your teeth because insurance won’t pay much since each insurance has negotiated rates for services performed. And the office staff is unable to do a simple task as providing dental records. One can wonder what other tasks they are unable to perform. It tells everything about a provider when at the earliest sign of a disagreement they say to customer “go elsewhere” if you are reading this review I suggest you go elsewhere or you can experience the highly rude staff for yourself. Maybe with some professional training Always Dental office staff can better handle billing inquiries not as they have something to hide!
