During the procedure, they regularly check in to make sure you are comfortable and doing well. They also make every effort to find an appointment time that works best with your schedule.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Dentist of Gardena was great, I was greeted by everyone when I entered. The receptionist was great her name starts with a J, she made sure I had an appointment that fit my schedule and helped me schedule my future appointments. The finace lady was great as well her name starts with a P. I didn't have Dental insurance and she helped me get approved for a reasonable monthly plan. And Dr Sadeghi who did the work on my teeth, did a great job and made sure I wasn't in pain during and after the procedure.

Negative experience: Listen to all the lowest reviews which are probably the most honest ones. I came here along with my daughter and were trying to have us get inlays that were going to be around $6,000. They are so unethical! Came in with no dental pain just a regular check up and left with a permanent sensitive tooth (since Nov) and a tooth that now needs a root canal! Go elsewhere or get a second option!!!!!! I regret coming here. Karma will get to them because everything they do is so unethical. One of the so called doctor's didn't even know what he was doing!

Negative experience: This place has scheduling issues. Months out for ortho and general. I called to check on appointments made and one person said they made it, called to verify a week prior the manager said nothing showed after. Now i call and they say i missed, needs accountability. Get a reminder card with appointment and date so its on paper. At the beginning it was okay, cant say the same now.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. I waited over 2.5 hours just to be told I’d be referred out. The doctor took forever for a basic exam, and I was moved between multiple rooms while in pain. It felt disorganized and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my time at Dentist of Gardena. Strange to say about a dental visit right? Ariceli and Mary were gracious with my lateness due to an error on my part. I did call and let them know though. They greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. My paperwork was done online, makes everything go faster for a first timer. There was a little wait due to being short of staff. I know that because Ariceli told me so as she did with everyone who had been waiting. I really appreciated that. The male dental assistant was so kind and gentle.(his name escapes me). He made great conversation to keep me at ease. And cleaned my teeth excellently. The Dentist himself was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. He also did not waste my time once he entered the room, he explained everything. Negative experience: If you want to waste your time, go to this dentist. This is my third visit just to get two cavities filled, and every single time it’s the same situation. I wait over an hour just to be seen, then once I’m finally in the chair, I’m sitting there another 30 minutes just to be told the dentist had an “emergency” and is with another patient. Then they expect me to wait another hour and a half. It’s honestly ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. They clearly have no respect for people’s time. What makes it worse is they are quick to call you when it comes to collecting money, but when you show up for your appointment, you’re left waiting for hours with no real communication or accountability. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, and I’ll definitely be making this my permanent dental office. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The hygienist with glasses who did my cleaning made the experience even better; we ended up chatting about our kids, and it truly felt like home. Negative experience: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR A FIRST TIME PROSPECTIVE CLIENT! I had an appointment set that I made same day. I have two insurances and wanted to use one and get info on deductibles on the other insurance to use at a later time and the staff acted as if it was rocket science. They gave me misinformation about my deductible and was ill informed. I chose not to use them and I’m taking my business elsewhere. They wasted my time completely. I should have looked at the previous reviews and seen this is not an office of professionalism whatsoever. Just pure ignorance.

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with this clinic. We went in specifically for an extraction for my son, and even though we had an appointment, we still waited about 30 minutes. When they finally saw him, they told us he needed to have his braces wires removed first, so we had to schedule with his orthodontist at a completely different clinic. After getting the wires removed, we came back — and again waited another 30 minutes. Then they checked him and said they would “clean” his teeth, but all they did was brush them. After that, they asked me to sign paperwork so insurance would pay for the exam and cleaning. Finally, they told me we actually needed to find an oral surgeon because they couldn’t do the extraction at all. They should have told me that from the very beginning instead of making us go back and forth. It feels like they wasted my time just to bill insurance for services we didn’t even need.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit to the office, and I was immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist and staff. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so pleasant and easy to talk to, including the Dentist (which was thorough and answered all my concerns) dental checkup. I highly recommend this practice for all your dental needs!

Negative experience: The dentist isn’t just a dentist anymore . He’s part of a sales pitch. To upsell you more according to their “expertise” tooth extraction for $800 because they want to perform a bone graph which consist of place the bone from a cadaver inside my gums. Really? Good thing I asked .no I’m not going into debt for a tooth removal . When I know all insurances cover this basic procedure. They let me leave still in pain. I’d rather pull my own tooth. Than to let a non caring stranger posing as a dentist touch my tooth.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this place. I used to go to a different dentist and dreaded going because the last time I went. I had an extraction and felt every bit of it. Horrible pain. I came here 3 weeks ago and had 2 extractions and looked at DR.Sadechi with like a “are you sure they out because I didn’t feel a thing.” He made sure to tell me that if I felt any pain he would take brakes in between in extractions. I told him I didn’t feel anything and asked him to proceed with the extractions. Also Many at the front desk is awesome. He helped me with financing since my insurance only covered a part of the prosedure. He made sure he found the best plan that fit my situation. They have serval banks they work with so, your in good hands here.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency first time visit back in December. From the phone call that same day to being scheduled the next day for an extraction. They were very attentive.Aracely assisted me with admitting me in while I was in pain and Dr Sadeghi took care of me right away. I’m so scared of the Dentist and he was so good I didn’t feel a thing! Negative experience: I regretfully have to leave a negative review for Dentists of Gardena, and I want to explain why. About two and a half months ago, I had an appointment where X-rays were taken and my teeth were examined. I was told I needed a cleaning and that three teeth needed to be removed. I agreed that two of them likely needed extraction, but I disagreed with the third and was told it could not be saved. I requested that we at least proceed with the cleaning and other care while I considered my options regarding the extractions. Since that visit, I have felt neglected and left without follow-up. I was told they were waiting on insurance approval, but over two months passed with no call, no update, and no attempt to schedule a follow-up appointment. Additionally, I am a veteran with documented toxic exposure during service in Afghanistan, and I specifically requested copies of my dental records because they are critical for my VA Compensation & Pension exams. I made it clear this was time-sensitive. I was left waiting again—only to find out today that my records were received back in December and I was never notified that they were ready for pickup. During my most recent call, I was also told that it was my responsibility to notify the office that my follow-up had not been scheduled, and only then would they contact the insurance company and “maybe” call me back days later. That is very concerning. Patients should not have to chase a dental office to coordinate insurance communication or basic follow-up care. If you come here, be aware that: • You may not be scheduled promptly after your exam • Insurance follow-ups may take months without proactive outreach • You may need to repeatedly call to move your care forward I normally give five-star reviews and try to be very understanding, but this experience lacked communication, urgency, and proper follow-through—especially given the medical importance of my situation.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Dentist of Gardena. During the holidays my wisdom tooth began to bother me. The oral surgeon at my regular dentist wasn't going to be available until January 16. It was the Holidays so most dentist offices were closed. I was stressed because I did not want to be in pain all through the holidays all the way until mid january. I googled emergency oral surgeon for wisdom tooth extraction and Dentist of Gardena came up. I called them on December 30 and they told me I could come in the next day! They were open on New Years Eve!!! I was so grateful and relieved! They made things convenient by emailing me the paper work link so that I can fill out the forms online and make my wait in the waiting room shorter. I forgot some parts so I had to fill out a few pages in the waiting room. Everyone was so nice! Mary and alll of the people at the front desk were helpful and attentive. While I was waiting to be seen, Aracely noticed I had been sitting there for a while and she checked up on me to make sure I was being helped. Not long after she checked on me I was called in. The staff did scans. The scans were much more comfortable than traditional Ex Rays. Their billing person Shantel came over to talk to me about payment options as my insurance paid for part of the procedure but not all. I expressed that my normal Dentist charges less than what they were charging and she was nice enough to give me a new patient discount which I was extremely grateful for because I am on a budget. The price after the discount was only a little more than my regular dentist but I expected to pay more because this was an emergency procedure on a Holiday. The price was very reasonable and I was able to get put on a payment plan via the Cherry App. It took about 30 seconds for me to get on the app and put in my preferred payment option and then they went to work. Dr Sadeghi was very nice and very gentle. The numbing needle did not hurt at all. Nothing about the procedure was painful. He was very gentle. The dental assistant Manny was very friendly and attentive. Once the procedure was over he told me everything to do to ensure proper healing and I have to tell you, the next day I wasnt even in pain! I took the prescribed motrin as a precaution but honestly aside from a little soreness there was no pain or aching. I only had to take motrin the next day, the day after that I didnt even need it! There was no swelling and no pain. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow to check how things are healing and honestly my mouth feels almost back to normal. Its only mildly sore if i try to open my mouth all the way. my mouth feels so normal that I accidentally chewed food on that side! I freaked out and immediately switched sides and rinsed my mouth but when I made that mistake it didnt even hurt. Brian, Manny, Mary, Shantel, Arecely and everyone was very nice and helpful. If it wasnt so far from where I live I might switch to them as my primary dentist. I am just so grateful. Because of Dentist of Gardina, i rung in the New Year PAIN FREE! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Negative experience: DO NOT PAY UPFRONT/WITH FINANCING I really appreciated the dentistry itself, but 3 years ago I got financing for orthodontics here, and paid over $2000 upfront. Because they were unable to get other work done before I moved x-country, they never even started on the orthodontics. I have called the orthodontics financing team over 20 times over 3 years. I have left a message with the office and been told I would get a call back every time. They never have. I also find it very suspicious that literally every time I call, the right person is not in the office. This is not once or twice, this has been the case every single time for 3 years. I just assume that I'm never going to get this 2k back. But I'll be moving to do a complaint with BBB next.

Fantastic experience: Overall nice visit. Everyone was nice and caring. My hygienist polished my teeth beautifully, the other hygienist checked my gum line and thoroughly explained everything before the cleaning. The dentist spent time and the xray tech was good too!

Negative experience: I'm writing this review to share my personal experience as a patient at Dentist of Gardena. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM and was asked to arrive 30 minutes early to complete paperwork. Even though I arrived at the time requested, I was not seen until after 2:30 PM. Once I was taken back, Manny, who seems to handle the finances, explained that my medical insurance would cover $650 for the extraction and that I would need to pay $800 out of pocket for a bone graft. I explained that the price was high and that I could not afford it, but I still felt pressured to apply for financing even after clearly saying I did not want to. The way additional services were presented and pushed made me feel like upselling was a priority almost as if they receive incentives or kickbacks for adding on treatments rather than discussing what is medically necessary. During this time, a family member called the office to ask about the cost, and pricing was discussed with them as well. I did not give permission for my treatment information to be shared at that moment, which is something that typically requires verbal or written authorization. Sharing treatment related financial details with someone other than the patient without consent can fall under a HIPAA privacy violation, and this made me extremely uncomfortable .My family member later came to the office to assist with payment, and we confirmed again that the total would be $800. It wasn't until checking the credit card statement that we discovered the card was charged $1,450. I was never provided a receipt or an itemized breakdown of charges, even after directly requesting one. When I called the office for clarification, I was told the extra charge was for a stay plate something never mentioned, never explained, and never agreed to. I repeatedly requested to speak with Manny and was told he would return my call, but after many attempts, I only received one call back with no resolution. I was promised additional follow up calls that never happened. I also emailed the office manager with no response. What frustrated me most is that instead of addressing my concerns or how I felt as a patient, I was repeatedly asked to leave Yelp reviews during my visit even before my treatment or billing concerns were resolved. At times it felt like obtaining positive reviews mattered more than patient care, communication, or honesty. Instead of earning the trust of a lifelong patient and taking responsibility for their mistakes, they took advantage of my situation and found an opportunity to get one over on me and that is something I will never forget. I feel I gave the office many chances to make this right, but the lack of transparency, communication, and accountability has left me disappointed and disgusted. I'm sharing this so others can protect themselves, request written cost breakdowns, ask questions, and make sure nothing is added without consent or avoid this experience altogether.

Fantastic experience: I was always afraid of being at the dentist like many..however my dentist, and hygienist were so gracious towards me. The front desk were informative and got me in due to a cancellation. I am so grateful for the support and help from this team, you have no idea how much it means to me. Thank you again for your hard work, I am looking forward to being back to finish my other procedures. I have been here before and they’ve always been absolutely NOT scary. Negative experience: Spoke to receptionist, was referred to there other location in the city of Gardena. They had me set up an appointment for my son and ran my medical insurance to verify everything prior to appointment date and verification was checked out good and when I arrive to there other location on time I was told durning the waiting time in the lobby that they didn’t have the proper equipment to do the service on my sons mouth for X-rays. This place is a joke. Waisted my time, money, gas and when I told them they need to pay for all these things They refused to remedy the problem they created and amplified from one location to another. They are not honest dentistry’s

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the staff at Dentists of Gardena! From the day of my very first appointment I was greeted with kindness, courtesy and respect. I inquired about getting braces for the second time in my life since I was a teenager. The receptionist staff let me know what my options were and we proceeded to start my braces and planned for additionally adding implants at the end of my treatment. The office is beautiful, the doctors, dental assistants and aids are all very knowledgeable and accommodating to customizing my smile and my learn term dental needs. I highly recommend the office and always look forward to my appointments. My favorite thing about it is their great playlists! As well as the women who handle billing and the front desk. I’m looking forward to my braces results and can’t wait to achieve my smile goals. I thank your team for your excellent customer service and professionalism.

Negative experience: ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES IVE EVER HAD W A so called PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS…. I Called at 9:05 right after opening to say I’d be running late due to freeway wrecks. Drove over an hour through three accidents to get there, only to be told they “weren’t sure the dentist wanted to see me” and made to feel like I was literally sitting in the principal’s office. I walked out. Patients deserve respect, not attitude. That’ll sting more than arguing in person ever would. I’m pretty sure all these other 5 or 6 reviews they have are friends or family members saying they have “great staff.” If they do teeth ANYWHERE CLOSE to how I actually felt treated from this place, you, me, everybody need to just RUN far, far, and farther away from anything else to do with this place. I did. Literally turned out and LEFT! Terrified to let them touch my teeth — thank goodness… bullet dodged on that one. Wish I could hit ZERO STAR. Everyone RUNNNN AWAYYYY!!! And personally, this is only like the 6th review I ever left in my entire life if that tells ya anything

Fantastic experience: I visited today for the first time 10/14/25 and this facility is excellent, it’s clean and everyone that helped me was very professional and so very nice. The environment is so relaxing and beautiful. The doctor and his assistant thoroughly informed me of my situation and provided information that no other Dentist provided, which I really appreciate. I am looking forward to visiting with them again, and I never say that about Dentist.

Which was super important to me especially when someone is right down in front of you .. he was quite pleasant .. staff was beyond friendly felt completely in very good care.. after weeks of coming here I Know I made the best decision for my dental care.. I was not wrong! Excellent gentle care is what I have been receiving here almost done . Have no regrets and highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Was recently here as a first time patient and the team was super helpful throughout the whole process at every single step. Mary and Araceli were very patient and thorough in receiving patients. Dr. Sadeghi was sure I understood the procedures and care plan. Finally, Manny went above and beyond to help make sure I understood my payment options and even helped me contact my FSA/HRA representative. It was an incredibly refreshing experience as a patient to be treated as a person and not a number or quota. Great work!

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience and want to extend a big thank tku to Dr. Sadeghi, Areceli, and Sandy. From the moment I walked in, the team was warm, professional, and attentive. Dr. Sadeghi was thorough, gentle, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Areceli and Sandy were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. Their care and professionalism truly made a difference.

Negative experience: I inform them of pre authorization forms that we're gonna need to be submitted for approval a day before I scheduled the appointment date and they accepted after i arrived & once I got the insurance to accept the preauthorization form by the dentist she had a change of attitude and said she wasnt going to waste her time and submit a form of authorization and told me go to another dentist then put her hands on me her co worker comes in clueless about the entire situation speaking on her behalf she guaranteed me that she wasn't giving me the manager's, finance clerk , or her name & don't have to tell me nothing and she wasn't going to get the other girl because she didnt know her whereabouts but then turns around and says if anybody was to know where she is it would be me and then says she don't know where shes at again and she wasn't gonna see where she was at for me to include her name for my complaint I really need to speak with someone regarding this .

Fantastic experience: What a phenomenal dental office. Dr. Sadeghi and his staff go above and beyond every time. The staff not only is polite and knowledgeable, they remember who you are and actually talk with you. Highly recommend for all your dental needs!!

Had soms surgery done. Two wisdom teeth extractions (extremely painful aftermath btw) 3 caps and a root canal. So far everything has been fine. They do good work. Recommended

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of going to the dentist, even just to get a light cleaning. All the staff they have there now are super nice and supportive. Hubert did my last cleaning ( second time with him) and he was very careful and communicative. He was aware of my fears and talked me through the procedure.

I been to many different offices and the service Dr.Sadeghi and he’s staff provided was beyond my expectations. When I tell you that he took me in same day and address all my concerns was truly a blessing. Juan was amazing taking my X-rays and helping my with my procedure. Dr. has the chill energy of a yoga instructor but the precision of a ninja with a tiny mirror. Zero pain, all gain. 10/10, would let them poke around my mouth again
