Fantastic experience: This place is wonderful! Truly the dentist office of my dreams! they were so kind so patient so kind so thorough and even gave me free x-rays of all my teeth and assessment for my first appointment! I’m going to tell everyone I know about them!

Negative experience: Before the appointment, I was told that my husband’s insurance was accepted. We went in for a deep cleaning and an extraction but almost immediately we were told he needed extensive dental surgery that would cost around $5,000. The staff quickly began asking about our credit and offered to run a credit check for financing. We explained that we were not interested and wanted to explore other options and left! The same day, we went to another dentist in Hawthorne that accepted his insurance. They performed his deep cleaning, extraction, and other covered services through his insurance without pressuring us into thousands of dollars of additional treatment. I would recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to costly treatment plans!!!!

Negative experience: Terrible customer service and follow up. I was told on a Tuesday that I would get a call back same day and it is Wednesday the following week and no call back, this isn't the first time this happens. They need more assistants or a better system. I was told several months ago that a procedure was going to be submitted for approval and when I called it was never done. If you are looking for responsiveness and professionalism then you might be better off finding a different provider.

She needs to be replace immediately I also felt the clinic was not transparent about their charges, and I believe I was overcharged. Positive experience: A bit of a drive from the O.C. but the office staff is very friendly and the office itself is very clean and inviting. The doctor took his time to go over the x-rays and the procedure's that I'm going to need in the future and answer any of my questions. I would definitely recommend this office if you're looking for a more invasive dentistry office.

Besides friendly treatment by the staff, I got very special treatment form Dr David Farivar. I really needed help nearing the holidays for my front teeth that needed work. He kindly went out of his way and did what needs to be done so I can enjoy my holy days. Thank you Dr, thank you all for being so nice.

Negative experience: From an insurance standpoint do not come here. I made an appointment and asked if they accepted my insurance they said they did. I go in and they tell me that my insurance isn’t accepted but they’ll do a free exam which they did and then proceeded to sell me what I needed done which was going to cost me $5,000.00. Then they said if I accepted then and there they would discount to $4,000.00 but I don’t have that kind of money so I declined and mind you I had an emergency going in with a back tooth. I went somewhere else that accepted my insurance and only paid 1k for better work. Seems predatory to have accepted me and offer their work at the price they did when the honest route would have been to be truthful of not accepting my insurance in the first place and advised to go somewhere they would. **** editing my review ***12/02/2024 It has been 3 months since my review and this place has not stopped calling me, emailing me, texting me, and mailing me postal letters asking me to change my initial review or edit it in exchange for an Amazon gift card. Beware of this place.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience at this group today. Their communication around what services are to be performed and by whom needs serious improvement. The dentist that I initially called to schedule with was not the same dentist that I was assigned. I was told that an x-ray was required for a cleaning to take place, even though I tried to decline. I've had plenty of cleanings without x-rays in the past. I wasn't informed that I would be coded for a new patient comprehensive visit until I checked out. I said multiple times that all I wanted was a regular cleaning. If they needed to do something else, they need to communicate that better. The cleaning itself missed several places on my teeth. It was performed quickly with the cavitron on my gum line by the dentist, not a dental hygienist, although I have had many dental hygienists who spent longer detailing my teeth. I later looked my dentist with up on the California Dental Board site and it says his license is expired/not valid for practice. EDIT: Now a week later, the Dental Board of California licensure page for my dentist shows a change that his license is active. Also, they offer gifts for reviews.I have not received a gift for this review and will not seek one. Be very careful getting services with this group.
