Negative experience: If the management truly cares, please fix the appointment time made to the actual service time. This is the second time coming in and 30+ minutes for no reason staring at this ugly reception area. I usually avoid putting a bad review unless it is truly bad; and nothing worse than making your patients wait for no reason when you confirmed their appointment time 4 times throughout the days before it. This is just bad customer servicing guys! To the future patients, if you make an appointment at 10am be sure to arrive 30-40mins later at least. They won’t respect your time, why should you respect theirs?
Hi Olim
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Your feedback regarding appointment times and the waiting experience has been shared with our team so we can better evaluate how we manage our schedules and communication with patients.
We’re especially sorry that this experience left you feeling that your time was not respected. That is not the experience we want for our patients, and we appreciate the opportunity to improve.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope you’ll allow us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.
Negative experience: I'm concerned about the plethora of negative reviews. They seem to respond to the customer complaint by referring them to the email address instead of addressing their legitimate issue openly. If you are told you have a free consultation and they bill your insurance, that's dishonest. Most reputable offices will absolutely not charge the insurance company a single penny for a complimentary service, PERIOD. Getting professional service should be a given, I am more interested in in costs and results, not so much about killing you with kindness if the bill is excessive and the work is subpar. I will take my new business elsewhere. Thank you for all of the reviews folks, you have been heard!
Hi Victor Casonay
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns.
At Diamond Braces, we strive to provide transparency regarding consultations, insurance benefits, treatment costs, and patient care. We understand the importance of clear communication when patients are evaluating their treatment options and choosing a provider.
We also recognize that online reviews play an important role in helping patients make informed decisions. While we cannot discuss individual circumstances publicly, we take all feedback seriously and use it to improve our processes and patient experience.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and wish you the best in finding the orthodontic care that meets your needs.

Fantastic experience: The customer service and orthodontic services were top tier. My appointment was timely, the doc and techs executed their services well. The only thing that I will say is that the need to keep the sinks well wiped-down. I have decided to transfer my treatment from the Stamford office to the Yonkers office because I was so impressed with their service.
Hi Adeyemi Murphy-Higgs
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your feedback. The Diamond Braces team is so glad you had a great experience at our Yonkers location and that our customer service and orthodontic care made such a strong impression.
We also appreciate your note regarding the sinks and cleanliness, as feedback like this helps us continue improving the patient experience.
We truly appreciate your trust in us and look forward to continuing your orthodontic treatment journey.
Negative experience: Terrible service. We have been waiting for the retainers for over a month now and they don’t even have the courtesy to call us back or even apologize for the delay. Very disappointing customer service.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience.
This is not the level of care we aim to provide. Please email [email protected] and include the patient’s full name and date of birth so we can help the patient effectively.
Fantastic experience: I’m already very happy with the results of my treatment. Everyone associated with Diamond Braces is extremely polite and helpful. Highly recommended!
Thank you for the 5-star review, Vaishnavi! We're glad to hear you had a positive experience at our South Plainfield location.
Fantastic experience: Diamond Braces, and everyone I worked with here has been wonderful. The entire staff worked diligently to complete my treatment within the stated timeframe, and were incredibly friendly every visit. Making / changing appointments is very flexible and easy to manage. I'm very grateful for everyone involved, and can check the box on having a smile I'm proud of!
Fantastic experience: I've been bringing my kids to Diamond Braces for 8 years and 3rd kid later. They are amazing and I recommend to everyone!
Negative experience: My EXPERIENCE was EXTREMELY BAD. I went there, the doctors told me 3 or months with the braces. They told me tje space will NOT close all the way (I DON'T KNOW WHY) I FIRST GOT THE BRACES JUNE 19,2025, still have it..I got fillers NOV 11,2025 for that one tooth that they said (cannot close all the way) NO SHAPE, NOT THE SAME COLOR AS MY TEETH, I decided to REMOVE it NOV 13, 2025. THE SPACE BETWEEN MY TOOTH IS STILL THE SAME. I HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET THAT SPACE CLOSE. IM NOT HAPPY WITH MY EXPERIENCE
Fantastic experience: Very responsible and ethical
Fantastic experience: Staff is great ,doctor took the time to explain the treatment and the expected results ,very happy with my experience today.

Negative experience: Waited 1 hour for a a pre-scheduled Free consult. Asked for braces removal and switching to Invisalign. After charging me and keeping me waiting 2 additional hours, the anonymous orthodontist (he never bothered introducing himself) decided not to remove braces. 3 hours wasted on a Saturday. Took us several outreaches and attempts to get a refund for being charged for nothing.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend getting your Invisalign done here. When I started my treatment three years ago, I didn’t have any complaints - the staff were friendly, facility was clean. It was pricey, but they offered me a “same-day sign up bonus”. However, half way into my treatment I moved to the west coast for a job which ended up costing me thousands of dollars flying to and from CT. Check-ups had to be in person, and they aren’t located on the west coast. If I terminated my contract, I would need to pay a $$$ cancellation fee, on top of starting a different treatment plan at a new facility. I understand moving was inconvenient for this reason, and I was so stressed about the additional money I was spending just to see them for a check in. I wish they had at least offered to reimburse one of my flight expenses. Now, it’s been a year since my treatment ended - within three months, my permanent bracket loosened. I never told them because I can’t afford to fly back… Aside from this, the treatment was fine but not worth the $$$$. I regret my decision.

Negative experience: If you need a place for braces, I would 100% not recommend this place because I had my Invisalign treatment done after like about two years ago and this year I came back because my so-called permanent retainer the wires were coming off and I almost ate one didn’t even know, and they never advised me that the wires would be falling off in two years so I’m kind of disappointed with the quality of their supplies. I’m not sure if it’s the quality or it’s just not something that they didn’t do correct. last year my bonding aids were coming off and I paid 250 for each side and somehow they were already coming off in a couple months and one of the dentist assistance. There were telling me that they don’t recommend me coming to this place because bonding shouldn’t be coming off that early into my treatment. Now they wanna charge more money to remove my permanent retainer and just use my regular plastic retainers so the doctors back in like two years ago why didn’t they tell me this instead of wasting money? When I started my treatment, I was very very happy with them because you know I was doing my treatment and I had recommended a couple friends and my friends during these years were telling me a lot of issues. They had the same issues that I have and I’ve never felt more embarrassed until I actually experienced it myself. But I don’t Redmond this place at all they are unprofessinal.

Fantastic experience: Great service as always! Thank you.
Dear Lana,
We're all smiles knowing you had a great experience with Invisalign at our Stamford! Thanks for choosing Diamond Braces and making us part of your journey.
Negative experience: I don't even leave reviews because it's annoying to do so much typing but……. If you decide to get braces here, keep in mind you'll have to wait years to get your retainer. The two younger Russian receptionists are horrible. I went on a Thursday to take my impression & I was told to come pick it up the following Tuesday because they didn't want me to come on Friday and the orthodontist was not there to make sure that it fits. So I came back in Tuesday as requested and they didn't even have the appointment scheduled. The news I received was that they don't know where my impression is. So that obviously means they lost it. My thing is, Why did nobody call me to come and take another impression? I left work early & wasted gas for nothing. Complete waste of my time. They told me to come back Wednesday to make a new mold & to come pick it up today (Thursday) and my retainer wasn't even ready. It's just the lack of communication for me. Please do better.

Negative experience: This is for the Stamford, CT location. The two Russian receptionist were terrible. What made matters worst was they was communicating in Russian to each other in front of us. Unbeknownst to them I understood what they were saying. Both didn't know what they were doing. For a better experience, either provide better training to them or perhaps they should find another line of work. Dr. Liu was absolutely amazing. She explained the procedure in detail and was very attentive. I would rate higher however, the two receptionist made the experience unpleasant. Lastly, save the cookie cutter response to this review and just replace the two receptionist. Nothing more to discuss with "customer compliance" or any HR REP.
Dear Dee,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate your kind words about Dr. Liu and are concerned to hear about your experience with the reception staff. We have forwarded your concerns directly to our Management Team for review.

Negative experience: Diamond Braces has to have the worst customer service I have come across in years. After waiting 45+ minutes past my son’s appointment time we were ignored, verbally dismissed and left in limbo. When I tried speaking with the receptionist, the coordinator and anyone else I could find their response was consistent “You will have to wait.” That’s funny because we made an appointment, arrived on time and followed all instructions. It is almost like they do not care at all about their patients and customers. I would recommend you stay away, very far away from their awful attitude and complete disrespect for their customers. The follow up call was comical as the Doctor did not even acknowledge that we had walked out of the appointment, they just wanted to setup another appointment to bill.

I had my braces taken off and the staff Dr.Lin, Carla and Elizabeth were so friendly and made my experience wonderful. The service was prompt so you aren’t waiting for hours to get serviced. The final touches Dr.Lin did to my teeth after the braces came off was more than I expected. My teeth look so pretty & polished.Definitely recommend to anyone no matter the situation of your teeth.

Negative experience: Update: It's been more than one year and there is still no actions being taken by Diamond Braces to refund the bill they charged on 1st consultation which they claimed to be complimentary. Claiming complimentary consultation for new patients, yet they are still charging at the back is a scam/fraud. Before I made an appointment, I called to ask the details and an estimation of consultation fee, the Diamond Braces team commented that they provide a complimentary consultation for new patient. When I arrived at their Stamford location, the lady over the counter and the treatment coordinator confirmed that my first consultation was complimentary. They took my insurance card claiming to check my orthodontia coverage. However, I just received a notification saying that I need to pay for the consultation. I checked with Cigna and they said that Diamond Braces submitted a bill to claim and I need to pay out-of-pocket. It is untrustworthy. Avoid it and stay away unless you decide to pay out-of-pocket.
