Negative experience: The dentist I had today was so short I went in for emergency, I ask for him to see if I had a cavity in the 3 teeth they x-rayed, he walked out barely glancing at the screen while waking away, grunted. Meanwhile I still have pain etc (he did give me antibiotics but never a exact reason why)

Fantastic experience: The staff here was warm and friendly, and treated me kindly although I was in pain and had to wait to be fit in between appointments. They were extremely helpful and the dentist is very knowledgeable about the meds I’m on, and sending me a referral to an oral surgeon. Pleasant experience overall.

From the bottom of my heart very thankful for all the staff in my care and even the Front desk medical receptionists . Y’all are the Best!!! Fantastic experience: I had an emergency to have a tooth pulled. They were able to get me in within a few hours of opening. The Dr and assistant were extremely gentle and knowledgeable and made sure that I understood what they would be doing. Thank you all!!!

Fantastic experience: I felt welcome and didn’t feel judged about my oral care. It was a very nice break from other offices I’ve been to.

Positive experience: Inside looks great, staff is mostly good too aside from whomever works customer service. The folk that operate that part cannot listen. I asked them to send my prescription to my regular pharmacy, and they wound up sending it to the opposite end of town, I call them to get it fixed, they says its fixed. I try to get it again, and its still not sent to where it needed to be. Aside from this issue, everything else about the place is grand.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Rossanley Dr, Medford, OR location for a clean and I had a woman named Pam who cleaned my teeth. She did a wonderful job and was very kind and helpful, asking me about my life and giving me recommendations to help me improve my teeth overall. She got some stains off my teeth that had been there for over 6 months. By far the best experience I have ever had there!

Fantastic experience: I came in for a wisdom tooth removal. I was called to the back after not even 5 minutes of waiting. Everyone was very sweet and everything was explained to me in detail. They were not able to do the extraction but they explained why and offered other options for them to continue with. Overall it was a good experience!

What more can I say? They gave my teeth the care they needed and scheduled me for a cleaning! About a month between visits, however, well worth the wait. I appreciated the aftercare instructions my future treatment plan. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: They ruined my life. Literally. Removed all my teeth then messed up my dentures. They're not wearable. So I have to go 10 years before my insurance will pay for another set of dentures. 10 years of not smiling. 10 years of being self-conscious and not wanting to look in the mirror. 10 years of having a hell of a time trying to eat food and unable to eat others. 10 years of depression. 10 years with nothing to keep my gums formed and will most likely be told in 10 years I am no longer able to wear dentures because I no longer have enough gum for dentures to hold onto.... My whole life has changed in the worst way possible because of this place. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Walking through their doors could cost you your existence like it did mine. Minus 10,000 stars.

Negative experience: Worse experience ever. My dentures don’t fit right or look right. They made me look stupid and took forever to get them. So disappointing. I had to go buy some. The bottom ones made my lip stick out and I had to use adhesive to keep them in. As soon as I ate they fell out. Lost 20 pounds because of all this. Should’ve kept my real teeth. I was trying to upgrade not downgrade. Made me more self conscious then I was before. So sad! If you’re getting your teeth out get the dentures right away. Don’t listen to anyone there unless you want to go months and months with no teeth

Negative experience: I had an appointment set up and confirmed twice over the phone and on the computer and then I got a text message saying I'll see you in June. They didn't call me or anything and my appointment was in one week so I'm going to go to a different dentist because they're awful.

Fantastic experience: I seriously appreciate all the staff they have, I've only come in twice so far and i've felt safer there than I have in any other dentists office. I'm extremely grateful for their consideration aswell considering I have very bad anxiety and panic disorder among other things and them letting me know everything they are doing and talking to me like im a regular person helps me more than I can say.

Negative experience: So they are listed as accepting well care in network insurance, made an appointment with them for a month out, show up and they say no we dont take that insurance. Same old garbage.... All about the money with these networked dentists. Apparently there are no real dentists left in this country, they all seem to belong to country clubs first and last. Then if you do get service at one they mess up the billing and stick it to you, be prepared to pay for the country club bill if you need dental work in America.

My teeth have been out sinceJuune15th 2023.and have had to go through se.provedures.4 times.because it was.always too long between appointments because of.Srssmile.Keepers.ans them was a Gentlwas tools.i was.going.to Gentle Dentle Over and over the same things done. Finally they sent me to the dentures and now after 2 years and 9 months I finally see results in the near horizon. Thank you

Negative experience: One star because I have to choose something. This place has been a royal waste of my time. The staff is friendly sure but they are uncoordinated and disorganized to the point that even when seeing multiple providers in office there is no cross communication and you will fall through the cracks. I went there at least 15 times and most appointments were a complete waste of time where services were not rendered or needed to be repeated as in the case of a full mouth scan. 4 different appointment's to get the scan done 3 times and once for impressions. The labs they use for dentures and partials are incompetent and produce garbage at such a high cost. I have been waiting to get a refund for a partial I paid for back in November and never received. Here we are in March and I still have not received the refund for credit on my account of over $1400. Do not come here if you need a partial or dentures, find a different place.

Negative experience: My appointment was at 9:30, since December 1st I got many reminders, texts and emails that said 9:30am. (My appt was March 5th) I got there at 9:25, checked in for my 9:30 appt. At 10am I still hadn’t been called back, I asked the front desk “hi, was my appt at 9:30?” They said “oh we’re sorry, we moved your appt this morning to 10am because the doctor is very booked.” I said “I wish someone would have called and let me know?” She said “yeah sorry, we’re really busy. They will get you back soon.” I didn’t get called back till 10:27 and the doctor saw me for 3 mins (it was a consult). Why don’t you do these consults over the phone and not waste everyone’s time? There’s a lot of dentist offices who will do over the phone consults, in fact my sister just got one done over the phone in grants pass for the same exact thing.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was quick and painless. I was very impressed with the dentist and the staff.

Positive experience: First visit was fine. Got in amd seen quickly. I got a referal to a specialist for my situation and needs. A few weeks later I went in at 7:30 am as a walk in for severe tooth pain and was there for 2.5 hours waiting for the dentist to see me for 5 minutes to tell me they cant do anything until I see the specialist, but gave me a prescription for antibiotics. People were friendly enough but nobody talked to me other than checking me in and taking me back for the x-ray. I was left to wait and in pain without so much as a friendly remark that the dentist was busy or asking me how I was doing. Maybe Im still bitter from the pain Im having but I was disappointed in my last experience. I felt ignored and disregarded as a patient. Hope my next visit is better.

Negative experience: I was happy with Gentle Dental until I changed insurance. I called several times, and even spoke to a representative regarding whether new plan would cover upcoming appointment. Although he said i would hear from them the following dayI NEVER received a callback. I called a couple more times and left messages but no return call. I guess that's how much they care. I will be finding a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr. RICE who comes in on Fridays, is a very good dentist. He is conscientious about his work, and he knows his stuff. ( Crowns) highly recommend Dr.Rice.

Fantastic experience: From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the experience was very good. Everyone was very pleasant and thorough in explaining the procedure to us ,as to what to expect with my 17 yo daughters progress with her braces. The hygienist was very good in telling her step by step what she was doing and why, then the Doctor came in and did the same and even made me and my daughter giggle. I thank all for the pleasant experience and we look forward to the next steps.

Fantastic experience: Had my old dentist leave practice and a bad toothache affecting my ear canal hit on a late Thursday. Gentle dental got me an early morning Friday walk in that removed tooth and saved me from a long painful weekend.

Fantastic experience: What an excellent experience. I had to get a tooth that broke off at the gumline extracted. Dr. Eltzroth and Jami C. took great care of me. They explained everything thoroughly, and it was the easiest oral surgery I've ever had. 10 out of 10, do recommend.

Negative experience: I went in to get 3 wisdom teeth pulled, it was an absolute nightmare for insurance to even get the referral and kept giving me the run around. I got them pulled and everything was fine until Dr Elztroth came in. He has absolutely NO bedside manner, huffed and sighed a lot when his technician had to step away to grab something he needed. Absolutely no communication was given after the procedure since he was running behind and just seemed like he would rather be anywhere else. The staff was amazing and apologetic when I called the next day to let them know he busted my molar. They looked through my notes and didn’t see anything about him mentioning issues during the procedure. He obviously knew he did it since he filed the pieces down but still didn’t say anything to anyone. I have made a formal complaint and will be taking my business elsewhere due to Elztroth’s lack of compassion and communication with his patience. I am definitely NOT happy and will NEVER encourage my family or friends to see this Dr. how he still is a dentist is beyond me.

Negative experience: The dentist was one and a half hours late after waiting three months and never apologized. He was rude condescending wanted me to make major decisions, but even didn’t look at my teeth. He was arrogant harsh disrespectful had no feelings. I picked up my stuff and I left. He never explained Anything nicely. He was pushy in a hurry no concern no empathy he kept saying what do you want? you should advise people. I heard him with people next to me confused they left and went somewhere else. I have been to multiple dentist in my life and he was the worst!

Fantastic experience: So kind! My Granddaughter was so excited and they took great care of her. A wonderful team at this location. This is my second granddaughter to go there and there team has really improved.

Fantastic experience: That was the first time I had been there and I have to say Dr teal and his staff or extremely friendly explain things very well and I believe was very honest about what to expect from my granddaughter's teeth and did not push as other orthodontics I've been due kept pushing and pushing for her to get them immediately. She is only 10 years old and we were told we could wait another year so we have seen four total and him and one other orthodontist are the ones we will decide if she needs them and when she needs them it'll be one of the two Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I love every experience I’ve had in this office for the past 3 years. I have pretty severe dental trauma from childhood (and adulthood), and the dentists in this office really love up to their name: Gentle Dental. The front desk staff are also super friendly and helpful and go the extra mile. I love this office!

Fantastic experience: My hygienist did a thorough job of cleaning and debridling my teeth in and under the gum line where there was previous buildup of hard tartar. She made sure to make my experience as comfortable as possible with numbing agent and a pair of sunglasses as I leaned back for my gentle cleaning. She took X-rays and updated my profile as well. Definitely would recommend

Negative experience: Completely different experience with Dr. E VS Dr. Henry. Horrible experience with Dr E. Nothing for pain and no antibiotics when I had an active infection when he pulled my 9 bottom teeth. Just told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol when I requested something for pain. Had to go to urgent care to find out the infection wasn't gone. Even the on call dentist was surprised Dr. E didnt give me anything after such a big procedure. Absolutely disappointed compared to my first experience. Also, never received a follow up phone call. Still dont have a follow up appointment. My procedure was the 10th.

Negative experience: Called and they said to come in anytime today for emergency reasons. Hired a wheelchair lift for 90.00 got there and they said no emergency service available.

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if I could. Go to this place if you don’t want proper care and pushed out of the door. My boyfriend went in for a tooth that he broke for an emergency appointment and they pushed him out and said we will get you back in 2 weeks then make a plan to do something for it. Mind you his pain is so bad he can’t eat hardly drink or sleep. As we were waiting in the waiting room the staff were talking about how a dentist cancelled 2 appointments for no reason and he is constantly doing that because he doesn’t want to work. He got in with a different provider that took care of him instantly. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: I went in thinking I had an abscess starting. I got lucky and hit a promotional discount. I got X-rays and exam for $40! Everyone was so helpful and made me feel comfortable. I’ve had a bad experience with a dentist 30 years ago so I’m tense when I go in. I was calmed right down by the dental assistant. She needs a raise. I just had granola stuck under a bridge. Whew! No more granola. I’m an idiot but they are first rate. Thank you so much! Dauna Stanley

I only spent about 15 minutes per visit & getting my dentures here was ZERO REGRET. The lab did an awesome job too. Before the process was done, I had already referred 4 people here because they are THAT GREAT. Your CRAZY if you choose to go to the dentist anywhere else

Negative experience: This was the first time it was bad and I'm glad I will be going to a new office. The new hygienist was rude. When I explained that my OB said it's unsafe to get extra fluoride because I'm pregnant she gave an attuited and asked ''why I won't because it was recommended by the dentist and with my teeth''. Then with annoyance said fine when I said again It's unsafe for my baby. Before, that she completing disregarded my request that my head not be all the way tilted down because I have Meniere's disease and her response was '' well, I need to have it this way''. With a uncurable chronic disease, it's really rude to not even try to change it because you like to work in that angle. After that I would have given zero stars but it wasn't allowed.

Negative experience: I called to schedule a cleaning and was very clear. When I arrived 3months later I was in the chair for all of 10 minutes then the dentist is like you are all good. Good for what I came for a cleaning. Well no we can get you in 8 months from now today was just an exam. The dentist didn’t have answers for my questions when I asked and I decided to go across the street for aspen they got me in in 3 weeks

Fantastic experience: I was treated in a very professional yet friendly manner. The treatment was explained and all questions answered. I was given tips on how to improve my oral health. The dentist took time to see what my concerns were and to address them. The hygienist did a great job. And I felt I got the best dental care possible.

Negative experience: Dr.pruit is a complete jerk and has no good bedside manner. I have an infection in my tooth and he refused to pull it and refused to give antibiotics for it. This Dr should lose his job for mal practice. Horrible experience, I won’t be returning!

Negative experience: Never given a review, but the dentist JASON PRUETT that saw me was super unhelpful and seems SHADY. Jason Pruett did not address my concerns or care that I was in pain. My cheek is the size of a golfball due to an infection in my wisdom tooth, my gums are so swollen it’s over my braces. He told me there’s nothing he can do about my pain because he’s not licensed in Oregon… then proceeds to say he will give me antibiotics. Totally dismissed my pain. He walked off as I was asking a question. Then because he’s not licensed in Oregon my prescription wasn’t covered. Mind you I asked before my appointment if it would be all covered my insurance and they had said yes. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Definitely doesn’t care about the patients. I DO NOT RECCOMEND JASON PRUETT

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old got his braces on yesterday! I was worried about the experience with him being so young and having some fears at dental offices in the past. The staff made the experience fun and calm for him. Expectations were set at the beginning of the appointment and explanations of what they were doing were given throughout. I’m so happy with how the appointment went and feel so much more confident with our decision to move forward with braces.
