Fantastic experience: My husband and myself had a cleaning appt same day. My husband has dementia and severe RLS. His leafs started hurting during the cleaning and they were so nice and let him stand while they finished his cleaning! They went above and beyond! Such a great staff!

Negative experience: I went here for a cleaning as a new patient with no dental problems and no pain in my mouth at all. They took X-rays and told me I had a filling that was damaged because I grind my teeth. They also tried to sell me orthodontics. I returned to have the filling repaired and left having horrible sensitivity in my tooth. I made yet another appointment to have the filling repaired a second time and this time he didn’t numb my mouth at all, just started drilling. It was so painful I started crying in the chair. After this appointment they tried to sell me a mouth guard for $1800. And now, 10 days later, I am still having sensitivity, but and can no longer eat on the left side of my mouth at all and can barely brush that tooth because it is sensitive to temperature and pressure. I am so angry and want to get it fixed but each time I went there I only ended up with more pain. I will not be returning to this place.

He is professional, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his patients. The office is very punctual, I’m always seen on time, and his staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Great little practice. The hygienist is always very thorough and gentle and she keeps me informed of everything she does. Dr. Alexander is kind, patient and professional. I'm a nervous patient (had bad experiences with dentists in the past), but I've found Dr. Alexander and her team put me at ease and my experiences with them have always been good. I can highly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I called to reschedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk was very respectful and professional. However, when the doctor took the call, he was disrespectful and even hung up while I was still talking. This was very unprofessional, and I do not recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had the most comfortable, gentle teeth cleaning I've ever had. Zi (her actual name is Zianya) was just as professional and polite as she was caring and gentle with my teeth. She's also efficient. X-rays, cleaning, polishing and a few minutes going over the x-rays all in just under an hour. Using their Starshine Plan makes the costs competitive and reasonable.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I have been going here since high school and they never disappoint! I recently just went through the Candid aligners and it helped not only straighten my teeth but also help my breathing when I sleep. It is so hard to find good dentists in the DFW area who are not trying to scam you but you can tell this place genuinely cares about their patients!

Fantastic experience: The receptionist is always so nice, as is the person who may be the office manager (I'm not sure of his position). I love my hygienist; she is quick, thorough, gentle, always happy and kind, and my teeth feel great after the cleaning. The new dentist (Dr. Kim) is super too! Wish I had the funds to have my teeth cleaned every several months rather than only twice per year!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience ever with my dental cleaning with Zi! I usually feel pain in my gums during the cleaning process, but Zi was so gentle that I didn’t feel any discomfort at all.

Fantastic experience: I started going here a few years ago to start my Invisalign process and Dr. Alexander and her team have been amazing from the start! Most recently I went back last week for a cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction and Zi did the best job on my cleaning, I’ve never had someone be so gently and thorough! Dr. Kim did my extraction super fast and painlessly and I will definitely be a lifetime Starshine patient!

Fantastic experience: I am currently using Candid as a way to align my teeth and bite, and so far the experience has been really easy and straightforward! I'm able to fix my dental issues without the pain of a metal bracket on my teeth 24/7. Highly recommend. Z has been really kind and encouraging during my checkups and alignment process, and I feel I'm in safe hands when I make a visit. The process so far has been a breeze and it helps to have kind people guiding me through it all!

Fantastic experience: Two days ago I went for my teeth scaling and I am so very happy for their service though I always do all my tooth work with them. They are all very friendly people and I like them all Specialy the staff (Zianya)who did my tooth work she is outstanding and I will always look for her in future. I recommend their service.

Dr.Steven Nguyen is top tier, I was misdiagnosed at another dentist office and Dr.Nguyen quickly found the root to my tooth pain. He cares about your teeth’s health and preserving them. The equipment they use is top of the line to ensure proper diagnosis. The front desk team is amazing as well! They are courteous and knowledgeable they will explain everything for you and not once did I feel pressured. This is the place to go for your dental work if I could give them 10 stars I would as they earned it.

Fantastic experience: Honestly this dentist practice has been my favorite so far. The staff here are so helpful and knowledgable. I have gotten a root canal here and multiple fillings, all done with care and precision. I trust Dr.Alexander and her staff. They explain fully what your cost will be for your treatment before they do anything. And they take the time to explain what your insurance means and how it applies. Because of the care I received I no longer feel nervous about bringing things up to my dentist. Especially because the staff here take in consideration your lifestyle and future plans. I can not recommend enough coming to Starshine for dental care.

Fantastic experience: I love the staff and Dentist here. I have had some bad experiences with my prior Dentist practice, which had left me with a bad taste in my mouth ;) The assistants, hygienist and front staff have been extremely polite thus far. The best part is that, like a trusted mechanic for your car, having an honest Dentist is important too and this is an honest practice that doesn't treat the patient like a head of cattle, or attempt to up sell services and treatments that are not really needed. I will be referring others to them as the opportunity arises.

Fantastic experience: Every dental visit has been wonderful. The entire staff is very caring. Procedures are always gentle which is important as I usually get nervous going to the dentist. They always put me at ease. I have been to many dentists, and feel by far this the best. They are honest, helpful, and try their best to be accommodating to me and my children when we may need to get in quickly if needed. The TV on the ceiling during procedures adds a nice touch. Positive experience: When i first went the staff we’re patient and nice, but after i had some fillings done my mouth was so sensitive, I couldn’t floss in my front tooth because the filling was so sensitive, I have to go to a different dentist now because i had a filling fall out and a hole in my crown, btw i brush daily
