Negative experience: My wife is waiting on an insurance refund of $1301.50 that was supposed to be issued by Monarch Dental, she has been told to wait for months and this company apparently won’t refund the money that’s owed to her after playing games and being told to wait week after week after week and that “the money should show up any day now” Before moving on to small claims court, I’m posting this as a warning to other customers that this place appears to be fraudulent. I’ll edit this review once this has been investigated and resolved, but it’s been months and it’s been an emotional toll to say the least. Edit: tried calling that number below, they said they couldn’t help and I needed to talk to the manager who’s out. They don’t know when she will get back…. Okay…

Negative experience: There are just so many problems with this dental office. STAY AWAY. It took almost 2 months for me to get a refund that I only got back because I went through my bank for a CHARGEBACK. I went in for a broken tooth that would be saved with a crown, I paid the full amount upfront. I went back the next day to turn in my insurance information and was told I would be getting a refund when the insurance applied. After that I kept getting the runaround about the refund. I was told 7-10 business days, I was then told up to 30 days, and then I was told it would apply 7-10 business days after insurance accepted to foot most of the bill (that was cleared within less than a week of the initial payment WEEKS AGO). All while that was happening I was going in and out of the office because the temporary crown that was placed was giving me problems. Nobody called me to let me know when my real crown came in, when I asked the receptionist she said the dental assistant was in charge of that. When I asked the dental assistant what happened they said I was supposed to automatically get a text message. I guess no accountability for that! My real crown BROKE while being put in, luckily it broke before it could be cemented in. So they had to redo the molding and I had to wait even longer for the crown. Do they think I have all time in the world to be taking off work for this?! After another 2 weeks of waiting I showed up and the receptionist knew me by face and one of the first things she said unprompted was, ”you should be getting your refund by the end of next week”. WHICH NEVER HAPPENED OF COURSE. So that’s when Initiated the chargeback. I provided the receipt of payment and I provided my insurance claim showing how much I was supposed to pay out of pocket. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DENTAL OFFICE. The only saving grace here is Dr. Richardson, other than that, garbage.

Negative experience: Had my first appointment here in February and scheduled a 6 month cleaning appointment for a July 7 cleaning. I called today to confirm the appointment only to be told the appointment hadn’t been but in the computer. I am angry since I scheduled several things around this “scheduled appointment” before leaving town. Never was I treated this way at Carrollton Monarch Dental before they closed …considering leaving Monarch completely!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have a great feeling of anxiety every-time I have dental procedures done, and this was a new office for me being transferred from the Red Oak office to the Lewisville location. The transfer was done effortlessly and my anxiety was put at ease with the care and attention I received during my service

Positive experience: Went in to treat a broken tooth that couldn't be saved, instead of a simple numbing up and extraction, they decided I needed to have oral surgery to remove the broken tooth an two broken crowns and make a partial. They were happy to break down pricing, but, they never said how many teeth were being replaced. I am over 70 years old, I did not ask for extensive dental work, I was there for help with a broken tooth that was causing pain all the way up to my sinus cavity. I had done a Tele Dental visit and had finished one week of antibiotics, I explained that the pain led me to believe that the infection had not completely cleared up, their answer was because you're allergic to penicillin and the antibiotic you took is a strong antibiotic we don't want you to take another round of it we just need you to take Tylenol and schedule to have your oral surgery done. The Tele Dentist had added a refill in case the pain and swelling wasn't gone after the 7 day round, he was an older Dentist. Are there any Dentist left with the guts to do an extraction under a local numbing? And society wonders why people hate the dentist.

Positive experience: I was a new patient after waiting for 1 hour I was told that the hygienist was going to lunch and I should come back later for cleaning. I will not be going back.

Positive experience: Everyone was nice but the wait after the doctor spoke to me & I had to wait to speak to the recent was ridiculously long! Plus I had to go to the bathroom n it was nasty! The floor was sticky from the pee on the floor where they miss the toilet! I was there 3hrs n I had to go twice n it never got cleaned! I wanted to throw away my tennis shoes They felt so sticky n yucky from having to walk on that!

Negative experience: This was a good place until Karli left. The 3 last months all of my appointments have been canceled. The most current with no notice 0/10 do not recommend

Fantastic experience: Good staff and care. Anika ( front desk) was working her heart out. She was signing in patients, trying to find a spot for an emergency visit over the phone and updating patient records on line at the same time. I did not see her lose her temper. She was kind and polite to everyone. She needs help at the front desk

Negative experience: I’m very disappointed with the service here. I couldn’t have my first appointment because I have new insurance that wasn’t updated. When I tried calling beforehand no one answered. So after going in to the office I rescheduled. At my next appointment I waited a 1/2 hour then they said to call my insurance company and set this location as my dentist. Finally I got my cleaning and the hygienist, Jennifer, was great and very kind!

Negative experience: I have never encountered facilities in such a state of neglect. The walls and floors show signs of poor maintenance, and the equipment is obsolete, lacks proper disinfection, and is covered in dust. Furthermore, the medical staff appears unkempt. General sanitary conditions are substandard, and the clinical care provided is abysmal. They offer no alternatives to treatment—a fact that demonstrates a lack of professional breadth and a total lack of respect for patients. I urge that an inspection be conducted to verify these unacceptable conditions firsthand.

Negative experience: This place is horrible!!! Make an appointment for checkup & cleaning in November (new patient). Left me in the chair for a half hour just to tell me they didn't have a hygienist to clean my teeth. So they make me an appointment for December 30th (earliest they had) at 2:30 p.m. sent me a confirmation text a week prior. I get to the office and they tell me my appointment is for 3 pm. Again, they had a hygienist issue, but didn't bother to call and ask if it was okay, just changed my appointment. Then I'm told well you can make another appointment but the next available date is February. What a joke!! I'll find another dentist thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great job, I really like the people at the Lewisville Monarch. They are always so professional, courteous, explain what’s going to happen and go over costs before hand.

Negative experience: Terrible. They made me wait for a hygienist after seeing the doctor, told me I was waiting for a cleaning. After 45 minutes wasting my lunch break they made the excuse that the call center isn’t telling people they don’t get the cleaning and xrays and see the doctor on the same day. I think that’s a lie because they literally didn’t excuse me after seeing the doctor, they even told me to wait for the cleaning.

Negative experience: VERY disappointed with this location. I signed a treatment plan for $419 only to be charged 10 MONTHS later for another $348 dollars. I would have NEVER agreed to a $767 treatment. I have now paid $1519 for three treatments, and I walked out when I arrived for a fourth and they wanted to charge me another $450. Absolutely not. BE VERY CAREFUL as they do not check with your insurance to see what's covered before treatment. You're stuck with anything your insurance doesn't cover without any knowledge what you agreed to.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been doing aligners with this location for 7 months now! The front desk time is so friendly and answers any questions I have. My orthodontist, Dr. Saleh is amazing! She is so good at what she does. She is friendly,warm , kind and has a big heart. Dr. Saleh gave me a bagel the first time she met me. If anyone needs orthodontic treatment go to Monarch!

Negative experience: I went in to see about a tag of skin that’s in my mouth and to get my teeth cleaned. After being x-rayed, I had someone come in who told me I needed to have 7 g because I had old leaking feelings. To me that was just a way to get money. Then they wanted me to have a special cleaning To clear all the tartar off my teeth and gums that was going to cost me $925. I felt that they were trying to gouge me. They refuse to do any kind of cleaning unless it was a special one and I simply don’t have money to throw into that. They also suggested I see their oral Oral surgeon to have a biopsy done on the tack of skin I’ve since found out that they do not have an oral surgeon for the area I live in and would have to drive about 25 miles to see one in their other place but they want to review the picture that was taken before they agreed to do it or not. So I spent two hours up there that was totally wasted and I’ve spent couple hours between my insurance company and them trying to get set up with the oral surgeon I don’t think I’ll be going back to the office

Positive experience: I got there 45 minutes early. The receptionist said she had me checked in, 20 minutes later they’re calling my phone asking why I’m late. Then I get back and they don’t have my teeth cleaning scheduled. I was originally scheduled for a Saturday, I showed up and they’re closed. Super frustrating! The dentist is great though!

Positive experience: Shay was fantastic—friendly, kind, and made me feel very welcomed. Unfortunately, the front desk seemed a bit unorganized. What I was told over the phone didn’t match what the desk workers knew, and another client and I were both told we’d be able to get a cleaning and exam done the same day. Instead, we had to schedule two separate appointments, and when we asked about it, we were met with attitude from the desk staff.

Positive experience: I really keep going to Monarch because of Tracy...my hygienist. She's patient, kind, caring and always professional Dr. Richardson is also a professional and gives excellent care.

I have had fillings, a molar implant, and crowns at this office , without any post operative discomfort.. The office staff has been helpful and pleasant. As a retired dentist I would recommend this Monarh DenClinic in Lewisville.

Negative experience: This company is never going to change. The equipment is so out dated, the office itself is old the procedures are old ways of doing dentistry. They only hire unskilled employees. Lack of of professionalism and style. Do your self a favor and seek dental care else where. Preferably with an office from this era!

Negative experience: My son has had sever pain in his molars and after X-rays and inspections on teeth the dentist recommended to only replace old crowns with possible root canals. Due to the price we went for a 2nd opinion and immediately the new dentist saw a broken wisdom tooth with nerves exposed. I’m extremely upset Monarch didn’t see this.

Fantastic experience: As always the staff was helpful and courteous and well prepared for my visit/ The dentist clearly shared all available options and discussed the steps. Definitely recommends Monarch Dental as they make you feel comfortable and make Sure you understand what you can do.

Gave me information when I ask and what was the logical ideal for me to do for mount dental issues and concern, gave treatment medication real fast. Making another appointment with the dentist they referred me too I. The monarch dental to get tooth fix. They are saying my tooth.

Positive experience: I went yesterday to Monarch Dental. I had a pleasant experience with Tahja who took x-rays. Within a few minutes, Dr. Richardson came and diagnosed my problem and called for my prescriptions. It was quick, easy and a pretty good visit. Thank you very much Dr and the staff in the Lewisville, Tx.

I’ve had positive experiences every time I’ve gone, and that means a lot to me because normally the dentist isn’t exactly my favorite place. They do such a great job, I actually look forward to going back. 10/10, 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Very kind and competent dentist, periodontist, and X-ray technician. I (justifiably) sought a second opinion at Monarch and in addition to the imaging and exam received here, my photos, xrays and treatment plan from the further dentist were reviewed. I was told that these are the kinds of issues that can be watched but do not require drilling with proper dental care. The periodontist was also very competent and explained areas to monitor and why additional treatment was unnecessary--also contrary to the former provider who seemed to elicit prolonged pain to sell me on a deep cleaning. Because this exam did not require a cleaning. I was charged nothing for a comprehensive exam by two professionals with X-rays. I believe that a charge would have been well justified, but will hopefully compensate them with my future business and this review. This is the level of professionalism and honest business practice we should seek in a dental practice.

Negative experience: Monarch Dental - Lewisville ******Update******* TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, VERY BAD EXPERIENCE…. My first appointment on 10/2 @5pm got cancelled 30min before the appointment because the doctor never returned from lunch. My rescheduled on 10/10 2pm was awful. The office never ran my insurance so I waited in the waiting room for 1hr. I had a scheduled appointment for a procedure. Once I got to the room Dr Richardson made me feel very uncomfortable and it was very awkward. He than left the room and never came back. The office manager had to tell me that Dr Richardson will not do the procedure today (which was the reason I was there) and would reschedule the next day. The office manager would not give me a reason and it was a complete waste of my day. If anyone from Monarch Dental is reading this, I would love a follow up call. Update**** 1yr later I get a bill from Monarch Dental in Lewisville for the visit I walked out on, saying insurance declined my visit. I called and they said my birthday was entered wrong. REALLY Get it together…. Once again, I would love a follow-up call so this can be resolved. It’s like a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, VERY BAD VISIT that just keeps on returning.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting Monarch Dental for 11yrs with my children and my experience has been fantastic. My current hygienist is Tracy and she is amazing. Other than having to keep your mouth open for an hour, you can basically fall asleep in the chair because she has such skill and technique. I will continue coming here as long as I have teeth and live in Texas.

Fantastic experience: Very professional courteous staff. The Hygienist/ Assistant was fantastic. Such a great attitude, happy, humming a little while working. You could tell she enjoys her work and interaction with patients. Made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Dr Richardson was very professional and personal as well. Great overall experience until it came to the estimate. Not the fault of Monarch— but due to the poor lack of dental visits and bad dental habits of an 81 year old poor patient with lousy dental insurance. So I’m now trying to see if there is any way? I can’t finance the badly needed dental work due to be my low credit rating, and that estimate was only for the lower teeth. Didn’t get an estimate on the top teeth yet. I don’t expect that to be any less expensive.

Fantastic experience: During my entire life of 72 years, First time ever I found a dentist who would not extract my tooth due to the complaint of toothache! All many dentists I have seen in the past would only break my teeth! Many of them with clean the teeth and break open a partly damaged teeth which would develop problems soon! One dentist even couldn’t extract my whole tooth and left the half inside! I was fed up of the dentists until I saw This Monarch of all dentists in the world! God bless you

Negative experience: Took off half a day from work just to be told the dental hygienist didn’t “have time on her schedule” to do my teeth cleaning that I scheduled a month ago… I never received a call or notification that my scheduled teeth cleaning and x-rays would only involve x-rays. So incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. Now being asked to schedule a cleaning for a future date when I intended to get that service done today… I’ve never had this experience and it’s quite disheartening. I’ll be looking for another dentist office soon. If you don’t work, have endless time to schedule and reschedule appointments for your dental work I guess I’d recommend this office.

Positive experience: I’m not too thrilled with Monarch. Not only is there no such thing as a dental emergency with them, they are also okay with wasting your money. Okay-ing shabby work that they know will not hold up. My veneers look good but mostly everything else is lacking here. The office staff works hard and the dental hygienist is great but unfortunately those are just small portions of this whole process. The dental assistants seem lost sometimes, and the one dental assistant that is trained, is aggressive. This place doesn’t make dental work any easier, I’ll tell you that.

Fantastic experience: I love this place! they were able to squeeze me in same day for an emergency crown that broke off over the past weekend. Dr. K was able to do the work to create a new crown for me. I am impressed with the staff friendliness, kindness and their sense of urgency.

I had questions about previous issues that he resolved quickly and effectively. It was refreshing to see how smooth this appointment went and how well business was handled.

Negative experience: Horrible experience! Would never recommend anyone to the Lewisville office. Disgusting and dirty, old and out of date equipment, and had an odd smell in the office. It was a complete waste of my time and time I took off from work. They didn’t even do my cleaning that I’m sure they still billed my insurance for because the “hygienist had already left for the day” Isn’t this the whole reason I’m here!! I never write reviews about places because I understand things happen, but this was just an odd experience from the minute I arrived to the minute I left.

Positive experience: So I went in because I had some discomfort. All I got was an estimate of the costs. The doctor said they'd give me antibiotics but didn't. They won't be able to do anything about it until February 2024

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended!! A follow up on a posting in 2022. A second visit was even better. My sister needed a broken tooth fixed and they got her in right away. Unbelievable kindness and excellent are. I cannot tell you enough about the dentists quality of knowledge and care. They are the best. have dentist phobia and dread going. I have never had a confit experience at a dentist before Monarch. I actually was able to end the extra use of and cost of nitrous oxide. I highly recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: not good at all if you live on a fixed income [ meaning under 1,000 monthly don't bother to be seen in Lewisville, monarch. it is all about the money. mind you me having 4,000 dollar human medicare and secondary medicade. yet monarch still request out of the pocket payment. thanks to this so called dental treatment of now days the major part of us low income baby boomers will have to gum our way into the future.

Negative experience: Manager was rude and hung up the phone on me an effort to clarify billing issues that she couldn't explain. This seems to be the main problem at this location. They bill you for services they can not substantiate.

Positive experience: The office staff is SO Very nice here! Going to the dentist is not easy in the 1st place. My tooth broke suddenly and they were able to get me in quickly and get a temporary crown put on. I was worried about this since it broke on Wednesday and we leave town Friday for 10 days. Negative experience: Today my appointment was at 9:00 am is 10:00 am and still seating waiting for my cleaning.. they let go first someone that came after me .. is so disappointed that they don’t appreciated people time. I have to wake up early today drive my daughter to her Grammy to be on time to this appointment.

Negative experience: Bad vibe as soon as I walk thru the door. Most dentist Xray your whole mouth to see what all work need to be done. They xray 1 side of my mouth. The doctor dont examine you or anything. He told me this and put a video on and say here watch this. Then the nurse come in here's how much it will cost.

The below was a very positive review at this Lewisville Monarch Dental office on main street Is NOW REVISED to One star only because I can not give zero stars. Thieves, Thieves, Thieves....Or just totally incompetent? you decide>> Yup They are attempting to defraud me out of my hard earned money paid in good faith up front Because I knew they were IN NETWORK with both my Primary Cigna insurance as well as my HIGH DOLLAR METLIFE dental Policy. They confirmed that they were in network for BOTH INSURANCE PLANS and that They would assist or directly process my claims for me and they said they would provide all the needed itemized evidence necessary for the claims to be fully processed so I could get reimbursed fully. Dr Charles CHILCOAT is the oral surgeon who works with this office & it seems he travels to a variety of offices that Monarch operates in the area. Without getting too deep into the specifics of MY personal dental work DR CHILCOAT was going to remove a 3 tooth molar bridge and extract 2 teeth and would be placing implants for a new bridge once the area was prepped for the implants. I was told by the DRs office assistant, Sarai ,that I would have to pay the full amount for each procedure at each visit and then they would supply the paperwork to process my claims correctly through the secondary payer insurance company, since the Cigna medicare plan was primary insurance payer , even though it actually covered very little toward the work I needed. OK, The extractions were actually fully covered by the primary plan IN FULL so the Metlife plan would pay the prep work for the implants which included adding what the DR said was needed to strengthen the area for the implants. (Bone Grafts) ***Those implants would be put in on a future visit and not included in the billed work done this visit. Before the surgeon knocked me out to do the initial work I specifically asked to get the bridge back since it was a ceramic over gold and the gold value was probably at least $100. possibly $250... I left the office a bit woozy and they never gave my wife the 3 tooth bridge that was extracted. ****That was the first SIGN of what I believe is untrustworthy behavior.*** I Paid the TOTAL for that visit ONLY which came to $3116.00 Being told that the insurance would reimburse me directly for all the covered charges. Most Charges were covered at 50 to 70 % so there would be a big refund RIGHT? Well, after 6 months trying to get my refund paid properly The explanation of benefits stated that they OVERCHARGED ME for covered expenses by more than $1000.00 >>> I gave them a copy of the EOB explanation of benefits and requested a refund of the amount that I had over paid. FOR MONTHS THEY STALLED and finally I was told that since the insurance paid me directly instead of the DR. (which was Not an option given)That they would not refund my overpayment. >>> this was the response in quotes. , "and there is no Difference, we cannot reimburse you, because you have already been reimbursed by Metlife," This has absolutely nothing to do with the FACT THAT THEY OVERCHARGED ME. by almost $1000 according to METLIFE. Scammers , Scammers, Scammers this will be a lot of aggravation to be made whole. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE with your $$$. They overcharge you and refuse to refund the overcharge thinking you will go away. Guess what, A 70 yr old retired disabled VET has time to expose these Blankbags THEY OWE ME A $937 refund Update, Sandra the office manager finally refunded my $200 reservation fee to my credit card today 1/25/22 How about the remaining $737 now. She said the billing department needs to handle that. How about they look at the insurance company notice of refund due to the customer?

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly. The hygienists made me feels completely comfortable (Shannon). The dentist Dr. Richard was really nice and caring, he gave me enough numbing meds so that I would have no pain during my visit. I'm definitely a patient for now on.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely time with Dr. Dean. All the staff were wonderful, telling and responding to my jokes and keeping calm about something that could've been very distressing to anyone. Teeth are actually a sensitive spot for me, so their lighthearted kindness really helped me match their energy. They are genuinely such lovely people to be around, and they take such detailed care to ensure you know your care plan and it's cost from the beginning. I'm so thankful, I wish some other doctors I've seen were as cordial and wonderful as them. Best blessings to them and their families! I'm looking forward to continuing my care with these exceptional and trustworthy people.

Negative experience: I keep calling to speak to the dentist about my last surgery, and no call back. I get a woman that keeps trying to keep me talking to her and she is not very nice. I am sure she knows about the business. but she didn't do my surgery's. I been in extreme pain. Two surgeries. Antibiotics, pulled a lot of teeth, bone graphs.Headache's, 4 to 5 times a day. Jaw bone before and after so much pain. Dizzy, i even fell at a business when i was running errands. Super embarrassing! The bill was not cheap. He is only in on mondays. Something is wrong with one tooth because of the surgery.I can't chew on one side. I like the dentist as a doctor nothing more, i don't know why this woman won't pass my call to him. I guess she doesn't care about his customers. And FYI everyone's time is important wether your a doctor or patient. I used to have a pretty smile not a have to hide and having trouble ea tting. Fantastic experience: Dr Dean ,Loya & Hanna are an incredible team of dentistry. They made a plan about a 10 yrs ago and it has worked well ste by step. Awesome ladies!!!?.

Negative experience: I wrote this on 2-2020. Couldn't ask to be in more capable hands then Dr. Zachary Smith and his assistants. He is attentive and thoughtful and has a terrific manner. He's also pretty funny. He works on Saturday, which is a plus for me. All in all, a great experience for an otherwise dismal necessity. Update: On 8-25-22 my left molar crown popped off! Under the crown, the whole tooth was completely decayed. My current Dentist had to remove the entire tooth; it was no good. This crown was put on a mere 2 and a half years ago at Monarch Dental. My current Dentist said the crown was ground down too much. Even I could tell there was barely any crown there to hold on adequately. I paid $1150 for this crown which is now down the drain. I am devastated at the expense to remove the tooth, which will now need an implant. That will be a total of $3500 for this one tooth! I was so doubtful about the ability of this Dentist, that I refuse to go back, knowing there is no warranty on the crown at this point. I am on permanent disability and don't have the funds for all this. Would I recommend Monarch Dental at this pount? Absolutely not! Take your chances there, as I did.

Fantastic experience: I was super nervous getting my tooth pulled and honestly was not going to go through with it but Dr. Den and Lisa was so nice and patient me during my visit. They made me feel very relaxed, understanding, and brought so much happiness to me while my procedure was happening. Dr. Den was gentle and quick and I was out of there before I knew it. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!! Thank you again Dr. Den and Lisa, y’all are the BEST!!!!!

Negative experience: BE WARNED - DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Went in today as a new patient for a routine dental exam and cleaning. They recommended a "deep cleaning" for over $800. I politely declined and asked for the regular cleaning that was fully covered by my insurance. THEY REFUSED TO CLEAN MY TEETH! It was get the 'deep clean' for $800 or no cleaning at all. This place is way more interested in making money off you, they don't care about your dental health. I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau and TX Dental Board.

Negative experience: I was told on the phone that I would have a regular annual checkup and cleaning at my appointment today. When I got to the office, they said they would only be doing the checkup with the dentist and I would have to schedule with the hygienist separately, who was booked past August. I would be charged my copay for both visits individually. Omitting such information up front made me waste time and gas and has made me take my business elsewhere.

Negative experience: Monarch does not accept primary and secondary ins even after telling me constantly they will. They “accept” but don’t bill the insurance. Then said they will be secondary as a courtesy to me however they want me to pay after primary and then give me a credit once secondary pays. Why would I want a credit instead of the money that should’ve been covered by secondary? I pay insurance for a reason, not to have a credit at a dentist who doesn’t want to provide the best care for as little of a cost as possible for their patients? Office manager is rude. Asked why they won’t list this policy since their intake forms have 2 insurance boxes and asks which is primary? No notice in the office or online but Monarch and Patient Services says they take both insurances. Was told by this office that this location and the other Lewisville location don’t do secondary. Terrible service.

Fantastic experience: The staff was friendly and helpful. I get nervous going to the dentist and they calmed me right down. They explained everything as they were doing it and answered all my questions.

Fantastic experience: The Lewisville Monarch and specifically Dr Randy Richardson are incredible. Office staff is welcoming and friendly. Dr Richardson is calming, talented and a great dentist that I have used for many many years!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an examination completed and an extraction the next day at the Lewisville, Texas location. The doctor and his assistant were able to get everything done with minimal discomfort and it went much smoother than anticipated. The staff has always been professional and courteous during my visits so I have absolutely no complaints. I have every intention of returning for the rest of the work I need done along with making an effort to get required check-ups to avoid additional issues.

Negative experience: The doctor thinks it's professional to have sarcastic replies to questions. It's like pulling teeth to get an update on the next steps with him. I will be moving the rest of my work to a different dentistry. You spend your money to get work done, one shouldn't have to go through snide remarks. I can't complain about the rest of the staff, just the Dr.

Negative experience: Would put 0 stars if I could. Called and one lady said the exam and X-rays were $39.99 and an extraction started at $180 and went up from there and they had payment plans to help. They called back to confirm the appointment and told me the exam started at $79.00 and extractions started at $500!!!! Need to get your staff on the same page this is ridiculous! Would not recommend

Negative experience: I wish I could of used 0. I came in as a referral from another Monarch Dentist office for a tooth extraction but need a consultation with Dr.Dean first got to my appointment 20 minutes early as requested. My drive was 25 mins to this location. When you walk to the back and you see a line of broken chairs junk on them personal belongings drinks in this area a total mess. The lady that did my X-ray didn’t talk she was not welcoming at all then I got sat in a room for an hour without anyone following up with me finally I got up walked to the front and asked the receptionist how much longer she was shocked no one talked to me yet. I was in the hall and happen to see Dr.Dean walking towards me she rolled her eyes and told the receptionist to reschedule me she didn’t have time. If you want your time respected then please go to another office.

Negative experience: Charged way over estimate, charged for secondary opinion with another Monarch dentist. Make you sign they have no responsibility if you have any problems.

Fantastic experience: The office adhered to all covid 19 procedures. The personnel was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The doctor was extremely professional and personal. Great experience.
