Fantastic experience: The office manager, hygienist, and dentist are all fantastic. I deal with depression so it’s easy for me to just wanna blow off appointments. I don’t feel that way going there and I completely trust what they tell me because I have had thousands of dollars in work that had to be done due to accident I had and the work done doesn’t look cheap or fake. She took her time making sure each tooth fit right, even sending one back to the lab that didn’t pass her expectation. She had a different kind of work ethic. The Office Manager is so patient with me and helps me with anything related to computerized paperwork because I am just not tech savvy nor do I care to be. She fought for me getting things paid for that you just don’t have the energy for when dealing with depression. The Hygienist is just very kind and makes you comfortable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. It’s just nice to know they are there to help you and not looking to nickel and dime you which can be very uncomfortable. Been there and done that. Don’t get me wrong they went to school, probably have cost incurred so deserve to make good money. Just nice they are genuinely more concerned about your pain and health then making sure they collect before you are seen. It’s just refreshing to see and feel that these days.

Positive experience: The staff is friendly and awesome. Everyone was professional, and I appreciate the honest discussion about my oral health. The facilities are very nice and in a convenient shopping location. My first appointment was scheduled online. I waited for 38 minutes until the receptionist realized that my appointment had been cancelled. I rescheduled for three days later. My appointment was for an annual cleaning, x-rays, and a consultation about braces. No cleaning was done, and I had to schedule a cleaning the following week. I'm not sure why it wasn't done in one visit, as it was with all my past appointments with other dentists. I discovered when checking out that I needed a consultation at a different office for braces, which was the secondary reason I scheduled my appointment with this practice and office. The other office is in Lawrenceville the following week. I loved the staff and facilities. The location is very convenient. The scheduling and coordination of services were significantly below expectations. If I needed three or four visits to complete my requested services, I would have liked to know so I could make other arrangements.

Fantastic experience: I have been looking for a Dentist under my new Medicare coverage. We have had good dental insurance thru my husband 's employment, his employment doesn't have any medical insurance except for Obama insurance which is the pits. Your employees have great people skills, i can say I am now a Great Expression family member now. LOVED THE SERVICE.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist was very thorough with my teeth cleaning and even offered helpful advice of which areas I need to concentrate more on with daily cleaning. The dentist is knowledgeable and caring plus has an upbeat attitude!

Negative experience: When you doctor they try to sell expensive treatment

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Reese recently and was very impressed with the quality of care I received. She is an excellent dentist who was able to successfully address a gap in my teeth that had been a source of concern for me. I am very pleased with the results of her work and feel that she has greatly improved my smile. I would also like to commend Ann, the hygienist who provided me with a thorough cleaning and teeth whitening treatment. She was very professional and friendly, and I appreciated her attention to detail. Overall, I had a very positive experience at this dental practice and would highly recommend them to others.

Negative experience: I had appointment for x-rays and cleaning with my Cigna insurance. This is 2 visits per year free. The insisted I needed 16 xrays for my teeth. This was very painful and I kept telling them this hurt. I believe the first technician was inexperienced and for the last 8 x-rays a different lady came in and did them. Then the dentist came in and said my x-rays were good and I had no cavities and to keep up the good work. I brush my teeth twice a day, use dental picks as I have short fingers and arthritis in my fingers. I also use a waterpick and use flourodated toothpaste. Then the hygientist (Ann) came in and started poking my gums along the teeth. She was really digging in and it hurt, but I did not complain. She said I had some deep pockets that would need peridontal treatment with a charge of $66 extra with revised treatment plan. The dentist did not mention any deep pockets although it should have been visible on the x-rays. I told Anne that I would not do the peridontal treatment with a charge of $66 and to just proceed with the cleaning. She seemed bumfuddled that I would refuse and seemed not to know whether to proceed or not. I finally got out of the chair and told her to either do the free cleaning or I would leave without the cleaning and file a complaint with Cigna. I went to the front desk and told the lady there that I was not happy with this visit and she was very surly. When I got home, I did call Cigna customer service and filed a complaint against this Great Expressions Office. I might add that 2 years ago my husband and I received a refund of iver $3000 from Cigna from overcharges this same dental office did to us. They were charging extra for crowns, etc., over and above what Cigna DHMO paid. With this lack of customer service and greed, I will be switching dental offices.

Negative experience: Let me start off by saying I really like Dr. Reese and most her staff. The problem I have is with her extremely pushy dental hygienist. I scheduled an appointment for myself and my daughter for routine cleaning. The hygienist decides that I would need Periodontal care (which of course would cost more than I was prepared to pay that day). I asked if she could just do the routine cleaning and schedule me for a follow up for the periodontal care. The hygienist flat out refused stating that either I get the Periodontal care or nothing. I asked to speak to Dr. Reese, but I was told she was in a meeting (right). I then spoke to the office manager and expressed that I felt like I had no other options and was annoyed because I took off time from work to have the cleaning done. I ended up doing the Periodontal work and lo and behold, my Insurance company denied it due to there being no Periodontal therapy to show a need for Periodontal maintenance. Great Expressions has been billing me for this service. I asked for an Itemized bill, which I have yet to receive. I called the Business office today and let them know I would not be paying this bill and they can hygienist pay it since she insisted on it. I have also found a new dentist for myself and my daughter.

Negative experience: The main dentist is fantastic, she's the only reason this location didn't get 1 star. Our hygienist was very pushy though, kept trying to get us to buy things that our insurance would not cover. One of the ladies up front seems to always have an attitude when we go in there. They also messed up my billing, claimed they called my insurance and got the go ahead on xrays. Later I get a bill for the xrays and my insurance claims they never discussed it with Great Expressions.... Now I'm stuck with the bill because Great Expressions screwed up and won't admit a mistake. They also knocked out a filling accidentally. They attempted to fix it, but were not able to. Stated I would need a crown, but were only willing to give me a 10% discount on the crown although it was their fault for knocking out my filling. There are better options out there. We are switching.

Fantastic experience: Best dental office ever. Dr. Reese focuses on your dental health and experience as opposed to most that focus on revenue generation. 'Cree' is the best kept secret...she's a remarkable dental assistant overflowing with kindness, empathy and attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: Haven't been to the dentist in a while. I knew I needed some work done, pain and a little embarrassed with my smile. The Dentist isn't my favorite place normally. After my visit today I will never go anywhere else. This office is not close to my home but worth the drive. The staff was absolutely amazing, made me feel like family. Of course I only wanted the minimum treatment due to my finances. However the delightful Office Manager Acacia offered me financing, for my poor credit.. Noo Way.. Yes way, I was approved.. I was able to get more treatment completed than I ever hope for. Thank you Dr. Reese, Dental Assistants and the entire staff, from the bottom of my heart.. I appreciate you!

Positive experience: My appointment was set for 3:00 pm, I arrived at 2:40pm and called in at 3:00pm but I sad on the chair for 30 minutes. Then all that was said “am busy” I said with the wrong patient!. I didn’t get out till 5:20 and paid $800.00 plus dollars. How you think I feel about GE and staff.

Negative experience: Went online to book an appointment twice. Both times I received a call that they did not have any availability for that day. Before wasting your time call the office and don’t use the website.

Negative experience: Staff is nice but very disorganized. My first visit they were asking me sign paperwork while I was in the chair that should have been done weeks before. The second visit they scheduled me for a cleaning, but when I got there said they could not guarantee a cleaning that day, and that my appointment was actually a consultation. A bunch of little mistakes like that make me wonder how well their service actually is, so I decided to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: A year ago, I got a few fillings done and I just knew it was going to be a complete painful experience, but I was wrong! I first met Dr.Reese at the Duluth location and I couldn’t been more impressed with the entire experience. Dr. Reese took the time to explain the procedure in detail, answering all my questions with patience and care. Dr. Reese and the dental assistant worked seamlessly together, making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Fast forward, since the Duluth location closed, I went to the Lawrenceville location for a cleaning. Although everything ran great, when I was told I needed a filling, I knew I wanted it to be done by Dr. Reese again. I went to the Lilburn location and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I got called to the back quickly. During the procedure, both Dr. Reese and assistant, Cre were gentle and made sure I didn’t feel any discomfort throughout the process. I’m so grateful for the high level of professionalism and warmth shown by both of them. They truly went above and beyond, making sure my visit was smooth and pleasant. Highly recommend their office, especially Dr.Reese and Cre to anyone looking for quality care with a personal touch!

Fantastic experience: Dr Reese and including the receptionist are very friendly and professional However every time l have a cleaning it is extremely painful and l do not look forward to it l have periodontal disease so maybe this is my fault Other than that l have no problem with Dr Reese and or staff

Negative experience: My biggest issue is that they took my xrays and didn't mention a growing cavity until a year later, even after multiple visits in the meantime! At which point the issue had grown so much that I needed a crown. They wanted to charge me almost $1,100 for it. Luckily, I found a much more competent office and got what I needed done for half the price. Obviously, they just wanted to get more money from me by neglecting proper care in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Everytime I go here I ask my insurance is it covered but when I go to the dentist they come up with these extra fees. I pay insurance every month and still can't use it.

Fantastic experience: 1st visit to the Lilburn Ga office which is near me vs going to the Morrow Ga office which I have used for over 25 years. The office staff was pleasant and the hygienist was thorough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Reese along with her team of management and dental assistants were ready to commit to accommodating my needs in order for me to have a much better and more comfortable experience performing my daily tasks and responsibilities. To experience dental pain and discomfort is not a fate that I would hope for anyone. Dr. Reese’s and Cre’s (Dental Assistant) bedside manner offered the emotional support that I needed to feel safe and they provided exceptional preparation details before and after each part of the process of me getting a root canal. I was educated along the way and they both made me feel safe and comfortable. Even when I could not speak as clearly due to being numb, Dr. Reese and Cre brought their sense of humor in the room by entertaining my idea of typing my thoughts on my phone and showing them! Honestly, the care was so gentle that I fell asleep foe a few minutes! I have been working with Dr. Reese and her team for over 2 years and my visits are always professional, timely, ams compassion-infused. I was a bit embarrassed because I needed a root canal after taking such good care of my teeth over the years (my mother recently transitioned and I took on her habit of eating ice!) and they both reassured me that “This is why we have studied so long and so much to be here waiting for a problem like yours because we have the solution! Surgery went by so well! I honestly could not even feel the needles!!! Dr. Reese did so well with that! I would recommend this team of women to anyone looking for a dental experience where they come with a problem and they leave with a resolve ans feeling cared for. Thank you to the wonderful Business Manager, Acacia, who created a great dental plan for me that also worked well for my insurance and my pockets! I appreciate all of you and I will be back for a visit in 6 months!

Negative experience: My insurance provides cleaning twice a year and deep cleaning every 2 years per quadrant at no cost to me. The plan I was presented at check in for a regular cleaning was $198. I got that down to $33 but I needed deep cleaning and that was going to be over $400 with no room for negotiation. I walked out.

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I would. I will start by saying Dr. Raven Reese is fantastic. No complaints about her. However the dental hygienist denied me care. All I wanted was a routine dental cleaning. She said I had a little bit of gingivitis and that it would cost xxx amount of dollars. I told her I don’t want that just a regular cleaning. She preceded to say that I needed it done. I again told her I didn’t want it. I’ve never been told about the gingivitis before. She denied me of getting my teeth cleaned!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY. I AM PISSED. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN DENIED A TEETH CLEANING.

Positive experience: Everybody in there was very nice. The only thing I did and like was they were not transparent as far as charges, I thought all the things done during my exam was covered. When really there were a few things that weren’t and it was not presented to me in a way for me to be able to make a decision as to whether I wanted to pay extra for those services. So make sure you know exactly what your insurance is paying for before the exam starts but other than that, it was a great visit.

Negative experience: Every time I go to great expressions I can’t say I have a pleasant experience. In terms of me leaving with my teeth cleaned, yes! However, the employees are not very punctual. There have been times where I got called to come in early and still waited 1.5 hour to be fully seen. It’s very frustrating and unprofessional. Every other family member of mine have had issues as well, to the point where we’ve threaten to sue. Since then, I’ve taken me and my teeth elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: All personnel was respectful, professional and knowledgeable on all dental procedures. I was terrified and very nervous the staff calmed me down, listened to my concerns and reassured me everything was going to be okay. The experience was better than I imagined.

Negative experience: Per the dentist I had 2 cavities. They did the filings. I went to another dentist for a cleaning who told me that they need to fix the filing done bc it was not done right. Food was getting in the tooth and they did not remove all the cavity. This was within a week only. They did not do the job right. Was in a hurry.They only want your money.
